In the afternoon of November 13, 1905, inspector and George found Julia passed out on the morgue floor.

She had odd pains during the morning, but figured it was nothing.

As they got to the hospital the pain got worse, and she began bleeding, and Julia kept telling William, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" as the nurse put the mask over her mouth and she was out.

They asked William to leave the room, and it felt agony as he waited in the hallway. He was thankful, inspector and George were still there, or he wouldn't know what to do.

The doctor came out of the room, "doctor?" William approached him

"Detective…both your wife and baby are fine. We stopped the bleeding in time. But your wife will have to be on bed rest for a couple of months"

William took a deep breath, "thank you, doctor. May I see her?"

"Yes, just wait till the nurse comes out and you may go in"

"Thank you"

The doctor nodded and walked away, as William took another deep breath and let out a cry of relief, as he felt a hand on his shoulder, "see, William, I told you, everything will be okay" George said

William nodded, and gave him a hug, "thanks for being here with me. Both of you thank you"

"Of course. You know we would be, in a heartbeat" inspector said

"Same here, sir" George said as he looked down the hallway and gave a glance to William, as they saw a nurse coming.

"Detective Murdoch?" Said the same nurse who kicked him out before

William nodded, "may I go in?"

She nodded, "just be careful with her."

"He's her loving husband. He wasn't the cause of this incident" inspector said as he glared at the nurse

William didn't say anything as he entered into the room, and saw her laying in bed like an Angel. He grabbed the nearest chair from the corner, sat down and grabbed her hand.

She felt his touch as she woke up, and he smiled at her, "you and the baby are going to be fine"

She began happy crying, as he hugged her, "it's alright, I'm here."

"The doctor and nurse, are suspecting it was you, that caused me to start bleeding"

William nodded, "the nurse gave me a glare. The doctor didn't really say anything but that you will have to remain on bed rest for a couple of months"

She groaned, "it will be hard, but I'll do it for the baby."

"Miss Hart, can continue working with alongside an acting coroner"

"No, William. I don't trust her"

"Why?"

For the next half an hour, Julia explained, how Miss Hart was acting odd for the last couple of months, and how she began flirting with William and gave her water that tasted odd.

Without a thought, William asked George and Henry to go to the morgue, test the packages, Julia had in her desk, and her water glass. Also, look into Miss Hart past.

The next day, Miss Hart was arrested, on the attempted murder of their child, and sentenced to the asylum for analysis and 2 years of imprisonment.

5 months later, on April 12, 1906, Mary Danielle Murdoch was born.

She was healthy and beautiful, with William dark hair and eyes, but looked like Julia.

3 years later, on William and Julia's anniversary; Julia asked George and Effie too look after Mary, while trying to give hints to William that she was pregnant again.

First, she made him, breakfast, with tea, eggs, cut up toast, and small pieces of bacon, but he didn't take the hint.

Then, she suggested going to a shop, which was a baby shop, but still didn't take a hint. Instead, he went to buy her a pair of earrings, she had been wanting, while she remained in the baby shop, asking for a baby hat, that matched his hat.

That night, after having dinner, they gave each other their gifts.

"Happy Anniversary, Julia" as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

She opened the box, "William…these are the earrings I showed you a month ago. I can't believe you remembered?"

"Well, I do have a great memory" he said with a cheeky smile, "try them on"

She put them on, and looked in the hallway mirror, "you look beautiful" as he kissed her neck, "but, you always beautiful"

"Now, now detective. Lots of time for that, after" a she gave him a kiss, "time for your gift"

She went to her desk and gave him a small blue box wrapped up with a black bow, "happy anniversary, William" and kissed him again

He opened the box, "a hat…looks like mine, but small…very small."

"Do you like it?"

"I do, but are you sure, the shop didn't make a mistake…or is this for Mary?"

"William Henry Murdoch, I have been giving you clues all day."

"Clues?"

"At breakfast, baby size, toast, eggs and bacon. The baby shop and then dinner, baby size chicken, potatoes and carrots."

"Ok…I'm guessing baby is the clue? Are we adopting?"

She shook her head, "not exactly?" as she grabbed his hand and placed it on her belly, "we're having another baby. I'm pregnant, William." She said with a smile

He grabbed her by the waist and gave her a hug, "but, Julia, how?"

"You, know how…"

He chuckled, "I meant, I thought, you could only with fertility treatments."

She shrugged, "I was surprised as you. Kate Sullivan, was the one who first spotted the symptoms, and suggested I take a blood test, well like 5. All came back positive. I'm 6 weeks pregnant, William."

He didn't say anything as he grabbed her face and gave her a kiss, "oh, Julia I'm so happy." And laughed, "happy anniversary"

"Happy anniversary, William" as she gave him another kiss and they hugged.

The next day, they told, Mary she was going to be a big sister, and she was so excited, and kept asking for a baby sister.

8 months, later, on the night of January 10, 1910, Susannah Elizabeth Murdoch was born. She was healthy and beautiful, and looked like a bit like Mary when she was born, but had blue eyes and blonde hair.

The next morning, William brought, Mary to the hospital. But, before stopping at the baby shop to buy a teddy bear, for her baby sister.

As they got to Julia's hospital room, they saw her giving Susannah the bottle, as they knocked on the door.

"May, we come in mama?" Mary asked

Julia smiled, "come in, my darling. Come and see your baby sister, Susannah"

"Hi, Susannah. I'm Mary, your big sister. Here's a present I brought you, a teddy bear. If you don't like it, I'll take it"

William laughed, "Mary, sweetheart, you have lots of toys. We bought the teddy for her"

"Ok, fine, here" and gives the teddy to Susannah, who keeps looking at her big sister.

"She loves you already, Mary" Julia said

"How do you know, mama?"

"The way she is looking up at you." William said

"She knows your voice, from talking to my belly and knows you are her big sister"

Hearing this made Mary smiled, as she grabbed Susannah's small hand.

6 weeks later, after they finally settled in, William had put Mary to sleep, as Julia put Susannah down.

They met up in the hallway, "how did it go?" William asked

"She went to sleep in 2 minutes. You"

"Would only go to sleep, if I read her 2 books. The middle of the 2nd one, she was out like a light."

Julia laughed, and hugged him, as they turned and looked at their girls.

"Look, William. Those are our daughters. Our biological children."

"They are definitely, our girls, Julia." As he kissed her, as they began getting aroused

She put a finger to his lip, "but no more children, ok?"

"I'm fine with that." As he passionately kissed her, "I bought prophylactics, today" as he kissed her neck

She whispered in his ear, "my diaphragm is in, and the Susannah is 6 weeks old, now."

Without a thought, William carried her into their bedroom.
