Chapter 6
Seto P.O.V
I was working when one of Yami's shadow monsters ran in looking tired. It was Dark Magician. "You! Come with me!" he huffed.
I nodded knowing it was important if Yami couldn't come himself. "Can you tell me on the way?" I asked. "Bakura snuck in here with his shadow magic." said the monster. "You should know enough haveing been through 3 penalty games or so yourself what a shadow gamer is capable of. Imagine what he's doing right now!" said Dark Magician.
I ran as fast as possible just then. I got to Yami who now had torn up clothes and was wimpering. I saw that Dark Magician girl was worn out and had fought her hardest and tended to him. "Let me stay with you for now." he said softly.
"But I didn't..." I began feeling guilty. "Seto...no one can do everything. That's impossible." he said. I sighed gently carrying him to the med bay and thanked John(the butler in this). He nodded.
"I hate seeing him this way too bochama. He was the young man that helped you and played a lot of games with you and young Mokuba." said the butler. The Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl had stayed. I had made snacks for them since the 2 wore themselves
"You two should get some rest. You look worn out." I said. "He could sneak in any moment. I sighed and handed a few of my cards to them. "Then let me fight him. You forget I am a duelist and have fought against shadow gamers before." I said.
"You also lost to them" said Dark magician. I sighed. He had a point. Later that night Yami woke up looking scared.
"Where are..." I began. "They were tired so I summoned them back." he said. "I'll summon different cards if he returns." he said." Here. I want you to use 's my Blue Eyes. It's always made me feel safe. Maybe he will make you feel safe as well." I said. Yami smiled.
"Thanks Seto." he said. "So why are you awake" I asked. "Woke up and am terrified after..." he began looking nervous. I knowticed more self-inflicted scars. I sighed. "Lay down. Staying up all night won't help." I said and gently rubbed his back.
He nodded and litsened as I hummed the lullaby. "So what is that song?" he asked. "It's a lullaby that he sung me but I am surprised he's doing that to calm you down." said Mokuba with a raised eyebrow. Apparently my brother got back from Yugi's early.
I told Mokuba what happened and why Yami was staying here.
-Flashback-
"And your crush on him has nothing to do with it at all" said my brother teasing me. "Says the kid staying at his crushes place for 3 days. I wouldn't talk." I said. Mokuba rolled his eyes.
"He's into Anzu as we both know." Mokuba said. "I doubt that." I said. I had knowtice both Yugi and Anzu liked different people. Anzu seemed to watch Mai quite a lot and Yugi would glance at Mokuba and then act like he never did when he thought someone was watching. "Ok see you in a few days big brother and I guess I will see Yami as well." Mokuba added.
-End of Flashback-
"Why is Yami shareing a room with you?" my brother asked. "You saw the cuts. It was like with you when you were 12" I said. Mokuba sighed haveing once cutted and burned himself due to our step dad.
"Yeah I did and due to it being a dark half and the lighter half being his friend I don't know how he's going to handle this one." Mokuba said.
-Elsewhere with Ryou-
Normal P.O.V
Ryou had remembered everything and Yami was a great friend and a amazing dark half. Yugi knew what happened to his other half. Ryou found Yugi and said "I plan to confess that I did it to the cops." he said. "It was my hand and so I plan to show the evidence and enough to go with it." he said.
"Ryou you didn't and..." Yugi began. "It's my dark half and I am still responsible for him. Please let me do this Yugi. Yami is also one of my friends and this will protect him. Yugi nodded and hugged him tightly. "You're like a brother to us. Whenever you have visiting hours we will visit and if it's Bakura...we will leave." Yugi said.
Ryou nodded. "Thanks and please don't tell Yami about this." he added. "He has enough on his mind already." Ryou said and headed to the police station.
