Then there was a trial for Flik. I sat next to the queen. I hope that Flik would learn his lesson. Atta then asked, "Flik, what do you have to say for yourself?" He has to say something. He had his head down. Then he said sorry.
I don't know what he would do. The other ants suggested that Flik shouldn't help them. What? Why not? Flik then thought of something else. Well, whatever it is, I hope that it would be good. I sure hope so. They tried to think of a better punishment for him, but I think it's no use. This is getting nowhere. Then Flik shouted something that's perfect. What's perfect?
He suggested that we should get help. I got surprised by it. Where is he going to get help? That's what I like to know. I have to know. I do. I hope that it's worth it. That's what I hope for. Does he mean by leaving the island? That's what I like to know about.
The queen doesn't think so. She said, "Now why didn't I think of that? Oh, because it's suicide." It may seem dangerous. One of the ants mentioned snakes, birds and bigger bugs. The last one occurred to Flik and he said, "Exactly! Bigger bugs! We can find bigger bugs to come here and fight, and forever rid of of Hopper and his gang and save Iris from a forced marriage!"
What?! I looked at Flik with a worried look and he said, "Don't worry Iris, we'll make sure you would be safe from Hopper's forced marriage." The queen looked at me and said, "How can Iris possibly marry Hopper? Like she said to him, she doesn't love him."
Atta added, "Hopper's not her true love anyway. She barely even knew him." I nodded saying, "I can't marry someone I just met and hardly knew because that's not how true love works." Then one of the ants ask who would go find bigger bugs and Flik volunteered.
Atta and the other ants don't know what to say. They thought about it for a while. I wonder they are talking about. Whatever it is, it better be good. I hope so. I really do. I don't know what I would do while Flik would look for the tough bigger bugs.
The queen looked at me and said, "You young lady would stay and teach Atta about being a queen of the colony. She had trouble and I could use your help." I smiled and nodded saying, "Of course Your Highness, I would be honored to teach Atta."
She smiled when I said it. Atta became surprised. Very surprised to me. I nodded my head to her. I am going to do that. Atta felt like she could use some help. I was taught on what a ruler bug should do from my grandmother. She taught me that. It's settled, I'll do that at dawn.
I hope that Atta would be calm when I teach her. She seems a bit stressed. I want her to calm down.
