Then something caught my eye. I saw meteorites coming from the sky. That's strange. I thought they would come on rare occasions. I had a strange feeling that something's not right. Then I got my eyes wide when I saw a huge asteroid. This must be bad. I can tell.
Then there was silence. Before I discovered what is going on, booms were heard. Oh man this isn't good. Pilo looked at me and she said, "Run Annie, and whatever you do, don't turn back, but keep running." I grabbed my stuff and started to run. I ran as fast as I can. I'm a fast runner.
I reached the end of a cliff and I stopped. Aladar caught up with me and he got his family with him. I then said, "We're trapped. There's no way out. We're gonna have to jump, it's the only option we have." Aladar agreed with me when we saw a huge monstrous cloud coming to us. We then jumped into the ocean.
I couldn't see in the ocean since it's sea water. I got up to the surface with a gasp of air. I then noticed a broken tree branch and grab hold of it. I held onto the branch and then I heard a shout, "Annie, where are you?" I looked and saw Aladar. I shouted for his attention, "Aladar, I'm over here!" He then swam to me.
We then reached shore. I got a bit exhausted. I then looked around and saw that everything is destroyed by the asteroids. Oh wow. Then Aladar and I looked back, his home is destroyed. I started to feel bad for him.
I also felt sorry for him. Suri tried to call for the others and Aladar helped out, but there was no luck for them. It's like they're the only ones left. The other lemurs are like gone.
Then I heard Aladar saying, "Come on, we can't stay here." I knew he has a point. If I want to get home, I must help him and his family find a home. It's like the only way to help him. I'm going to do it.
I will help him find a home. For him and his family, no matter what happens. I am determined to help him.
This is now or never. I'll do it.
