Chapter 1
Londyn awaited in a void of absolute darkness for her supposed new journey. She was old and tired and done with everything. But her one and only friend left told her that she deserved better and that he could help. She didn't know if she trusted him, but had nothing else to lose, as always. So, as she waited for her transport, she reflected on her life.
She had been born in the streets of Detroit, Michigan in the United States. Her mother was a con artist and quickly taught her own daughter all she knew. Her father was some rich idiot in London City, or so she'd been told. It was a harsh life that Londyn didn't wish to follow.
So, Londyn went about teaching herself all she could in bookstores and libraries and public schooling. She was smart, always able to quickly pick up any teachings, even her mother's unsavory ones. She would lie through her teeth to her mother successfully and go off to read books. She wanted to learn all this world had to offer.
She also daydreamed often of living any other life other than her current one. How she would come to regret such thinking.
But one thing was certain when it came to Londyn. She was always a sad, almost suicidal girl since young. She thought anything, even death, would be better than dealing with what she did. How she would come to learn how wrong she was.
At age 9, her mother tricked the wrong person and they retaliated by trying to rape and kill Londyn. Her mother did nothing to stop him. As Londyn screamed in panic and tried to fight him off, something powerful surged through her and the man imploded into a viscera mess.
Her mother disowned her after watching the man die, but more importantly, Londyn disowned her mother for not stepping in to help. So, Londyn truly lived by herself on the streets from then on.
Londyn also learned that it was magic that helped her in that situation. She learned about it from a man she never trusted, for she recognized an act for what it was. Albus Dumbledore was his name, and he essentially made her enter the magical school he was headmaster for, Hogwarts.
So, Dumbledore had Minerva McGonagall pick Londyn up from the US to bring her across the pond for picking up supplies in Diagon Alley and for schooling at Hogwarts when she turned 11 in the end of July in the next two years. Londyn wouldn't show that she lived on the streets to McGonagall and McGonagall never thought to ask, simply picking the girl up at the specified place and time thought on by Dumbledore. And he never helped the girl with her living situation, so he definitely couldn't be trusted.
Londyn would become a Ravenclaw at Hogwarts and spend the next year learning all she could about the magical world. Summer would come and she returned to the streets.
Also, her suitability for magic was something unseen since the days of Merlin. Almost as if she had been blessed or cursed, she didn't know which. But once she performed a piece of magic, it was as simple as blinking or breathing to recall how to do it. She hated the ability because she didn't want to stand out. She wished to be left alone to learn all she could.
The next year is when everything changed at school, for Harry Potter had entered Hogwarts. She knew through rumors that he was a boy that got lucky with repelling the Dark Lord at age 2. It was strange and Londyn knew that the boy probably wasn't the reason the Dark Lord was felled, there was more to the story.
So, Londyn kept an eye on Harry for the rest of her schooling. He was but a small, overwhelmed boy who took his own abuse, she could tell. He had 'defeated' the Dark Lord at a forgettable age, he had nothing on Londyn. She accidentally killed a man with self defense magic and felt she could do it again if she needed.
At the opening feast, Londyn watched the small boy from the Ravenclaw table. When he grabbed at his famous scar in pain while looking at the professor's table, she sharply turned to look there as well. She noticed it was in the direction of Quirrell.
She had been suspicious of Quirrell since the beginning of last year. His stutter and timidness didn't convince a con artist's daughter. So, Londyn sent a secret message to Harry to not trust the turban wearing professor. Harry didn't listen to her that year. But he would the next.
So, the next school year, with the first paralyzation, Londyn did research. And sent a message Harry's way about basilisks before everything got too out of hand. She also helped in locating the Chamber of Secrets and everything was dealt with before the winter break.
That year, Londyn also befriended a lonely and dreamy girl by the name of Luna Lovegood. She would be Londyn's first and best friend.
The next school year, after the first full moon, Londyn knew that Professor Lupin was a werewolf and that his name was rather unfortunate. She sent something to Harry to let him know, but thought Lupin harmless. What she was worried about was the prisoner of Azkaban.
She didn't know what to think of the situation involving the escaped prisoner. Something felt off about the whole thing. The rumors she could get about Sirius Black when he was younger didn't paint him in any light for betrayal, but there were plenty of actors in this world. Sirius killing 12 muggles almost sounded like a man in grief over the loss of his best friend.
Peter Pettigrew, though, was a shy and meek boy. If offered power, he could be the betrayer. And it would prove to be true the night Londyn followed Harry from afar to outside of the school on a full moon.
That would also be the night she met Sirius Black which would change her life forever. Sirius would see the girl for what she was, a smart but far too mature child. He knew that she had seen the worst of this life and wouldn't easily bat an eye at terrible things. He felt grief for her over her lost to nonexistent innocence.
Harry was happy to finally know who had been helping him all this time and apologized for not trusting her over Quirrell. Londyn thought nothing of it, for she wouldn't believe a random letter from an unknown entity without research first.
Hermione was put out for being shown up by Londyn's superior grades and detective abilities. Londyn thought nothing of it, for she didn't care what others thought. The same went for Ron as well, he was upset with her for 'trying to steal his friend, Harry'. Londyn didn't care about his thoughts on it. She just wanted to protect a boy she knew couldn't kill when it came down to it. And the world was setting it up so Harry would have to be the one to kill the Dark Lord.
She would take Harry's burden, for what does she have to lose? That is why she had been helping him all this time. She also thought a warrior's death would be interesting and glorious.
The next school year, there was once again charlatans in the castle disguising themselves as professors. Mad-Eye Moody was either a drunk or taking Polyjuice potion, and from his smell and mannerisms, Londyn betted on the latter.
So, another message was sent Harry's way to warn him, but Londyn couldn't stop his name from being pulled from the Goblet nor stop Dumbledore from allowing, no, enforcing that Harry participate. Another message was sent to Harry to be careful of the headmaster, but the silly boy never listened to that one.
So, Londyn did what she could to help Harry in the background in the competition. She keeps her ear low to the ground and Luna helps as they gather rumors about dragons, underwater breathing, and a maze and send it all Harry's way.
Her hints don't help with the return of Tom Riddle, as she had learned from Harry last year, for she refuses to call that man by his favored name. Cedric dies and Harry is traumatized and Londyn throws herself into learning all she can about Riddle. So she can kill him.
That summer was first spent at Luna's. Luna shows where she had magically painted Londyn's name on her ceiling for their friendship. For the first time that Londyn really remembered, she cried. She would later poke-n-stick Luna's name on her inner left forearm. Luna would giggle at her antics and tear up at her dedication.
The second half of the summer was spent at Sirius', for he had invited her over for something. When she showed up, his first words to her were, "May I adopt you?"
Londyn watched the man carefully and saw no hidden intentions. So she asked him why she and not Harry. Apparently, Harry already agreed and wanted this for Londyn, for he had the Potter fortune and name already.
Londyn's response was then, "I understand and agree, then." To acquire the Black name in the Wizarding World would be beneficial, even if she was a Mudblood.
Sirius told her not to rush, since the adoption process into the Noble and Ancient House of Black was… Difficult for someone like her. Londyn knew what he meant. So she said she would do whatever was necessary no matter what trial lay ahead. She had nothing left to lose.
Pain. Pain awaited her. 3 days of differing types of pain as her body reworked itself with the blood of the House of Black. Sirius watched over her the whole time, ensuring her health and that she didn't bite her tongue, practically instantly becoming a doting father for his new daughter. But, she endured and survived and became even stronger, both physically and magically. Not that she had wanted those side effects. She wished to use her new name to tell people to fuck off and leave her alone.
Sirius offered her a mirror and she looked at her changed features. Surprisingly it was like two sets of genes warred with each other and neither won. She had locks of pitch black and her original locks of auburn. Then her eyes were split between the colors of silver and original sky blue. Her facial features were slightly different as well, but she would become no doubt a looker. Her body was no doubt changed as well, but Londyn didn't bother to worry about it.
"I thought I was supposed to have fully Black features afterwards?" Londyn had to ask. This turnout was confusing to her. But Sirius knew something, she could tell with the way he watched her. But then he grinned, said it was nothing to worry about and went about his way. She would never get answers from him.
With the heirship secured and dealt with, Kreacher would finally listen to her. She spent the rest of the summer holed up in Grimmauld Place's library and asking the house elf questions as slowly and softly as she could. She liked the grouchy, old house elf. After bringing up the fact that Tom Riddle or the Dark Lord was back, Kreacher remorsefully brought out a journal for Londyn to read.
It was Regulus' journal, detailing his unwilling time in Riddle's camp. It talked about many a thing and now Londyn had avenues to travel to learn how to kill a Dark Lord. She wouldn't tell Sirius about the findings of his brother's journal for she planned to do so later. She'd later come to regret this.
Then the summer ended and Londyn said her unwilling goodbyes to Sirius. She had come to like her adoptive father and felt worried over him being left alone. She knew about his willingness to drink a lot.
Londyn returned to Hogwarts and met the most ridiculous woman she had ever met, and she knew her own mother. The Pink Toad was her absolute worst nightmare. The Pink Atrocity, for the prior name was an insult to toads, ruined learning. And Londyn loved learning.
But despite the damper on Londyn's favorite activity, it seemed to be a safer year for Harry. He and his friends made some sort of club for DADA. Harry offered Londyn a place in it, but Londyn refused, for she learned better alone. Instead, she tried to pour her all into learning more about Riddle, sneaking books and chatting up ghosts.
She soon had an idea of what she was playing around with, and she didn't like it. Soul Splitting and Immortality. A wretched halfblood who craves power and is fearful of death itself, who parades around blood superiority in order to gather powerful allies. A being that wouldn't think twice over killing a toddler because it threatened him from an unreliable prophecy.
She would figure out how to kill this terrible being that is splitting his soul apart. But then she hears about Harry's nightmares and she worries about the implications of the strange connection his scar has with Riddle. She also tells Harry he is stupid for wanting to follow the dreams, but when he mentions they threaten Sirius, she sighs and agrees to follow him wherever.
So they go to the Department of Mysteries and everything goes wrong. Londyn and Harry watch as Sirius falls into the Veil and leaves them. Harry gets held back by Remus, but Luna is unable to stop Londyn from going on a rampage. She makes sure it is all nonlethal though.
Then, Hermione isn't paying attention and a sickly purple light is heading her way and all Londyn can think is, 'that girl's death will hurt Harry,' before jumping in front of the terrible spell. Pain registered and she is caught by her best friend as Londyn groans. Luna clutches at Londyn's wound, to try to stop the bleeding and calls to her to stay awake and stay alive. That Luna needed her. That Harry needed her.
Londyn groaned out and allowed Luna to hobble her to where the others were, as things are calming down around them. A masked man unknown to them approaches and Luna stiffens. He asks the blonde if her bleeding friend is Londyn Black, and Luna reluctantly nods.
He closes his distance, putting his mouth close to Londyn's ear and whispers quickly, "We…we will protect you in the future, I promise, little one." Then he walks over to the man who shot Londyn and absolutely gut punches the man, then headbutts him for good measure, before getting stopped by Aurors. Londyn finally succumbs to tiredness from blood loss and Luna screams for help.
Londyn awoke in the Hogwarts Hospital Wing, abed with Luna wrapped around her legs. As she shifted, Luna sharply sat up and started crying with joy that Londyn had survived. Londyn went to dry Luna's tears and spoke softly with her. That woke up Harry, who was sitting in a chair on the other side of her bed.
The boy who had lived obviously hadn't been sleeping well and had red rimmed eyes. That's when the loss of Sirius hit Londyn again. She grabbed at Harry's hand, gave him a nod, and made a mental note that Bellatrix Lestrange had to be dealt with.
Dumbledore showed up soon after and offered some slightly austere words to Harry and Londyn about their guardian's death. Harry ate the speech up as Londyn held in a sigh. Luna looked confused for a moment at the headmaster before realization seemed to strike her.
Londyn spent the next 2 ½ weeks in the Hospital Wing with Luna hardly leaving her side. In the quiet time of one day, Luna asked for Londyn's thoughts on the headmaster. So, for the first time ever, Londyn tells someone how she came to know Dumbledore. How he covered up her self defense kill but did nothing for her terrible living situation, and how he did nothing for Harry's situation as well.
Then, she explained her mother's teachings, how she knows a liar when she meets one. That Dumbledore was acting the part of kind grandfather to everyone, but something was off if one was to meet his eyes. Londyn told Luna her suspicion that Dumbledore was reading people's minds without asking.
Luna, in that dreamy way of hers, said it was true. Londyn chuckled because she knew something was off. They both silently promised each other never to trust the headmaster.
After being deemed well enough to leave from Madam Promfrey, Londyn returned to Grimmauld Place to settle affairs. Luna promised to join her later in the summer if Londyn couldn't show up at Luna's later on.
With her return, Kreacher was happy she was healthy enough from the unknown purple curse. The Black blood in her made her more hardy, and if her theories were right, she had another pureblood's family blood in her. So, all that was left was a purple scar slashed across her torso.
And with Sirius dead, she only had Kreacher to ask about the differing pureblood family traits. The house elf already knew what she was after and told her what she needed. The house elf was old, not blind. He could see that she clearly had blood from another family. She was now a true and proper pureblood, that's a part of why he liked her so.
So, that is when she learned of the two possibilities for her birth father. Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange. The Lestranges were known for their auburn hair and blue eyes and the only pureblood family to boast such. Londyn hissed at the news.
Bellatrix Lestrange killed her adoptive father and now her true father was someone from that same family. Hell, it may have even been the woman's fucking husband. Kreacher silently understood and made Londyn's comfort foods.
The rest of the summer was spent holed up in the library, reading up on the Noble and Ancient House of Black and the Noble and Ancient House of Lestrange, as well as the Gaunts. She looked up all she could to help her plan.
Luna came by during the middle of summer when Londyn showed no signs of leaving. Luna helped the research process and explained that it was a Lestrange that had spoken in Londyn's ear and punched her attacker during that night in the Department of Mysteries. Luna vividly remembered his burning blue eyes and vibrant auburn hair and the pain in his eyes while looking at Londyn.
So it seemed that the Lestranges knew about her somehow. Perhaps it was an open secret of the Wizarding World, due to the outcome of her Black Blood Purification ritual. Something to keep in mind then.
Luna agreed with Londyn's line of thought as well, for her father knew. So, Londyn asked which brother it would be, and got the worst answer. Rodolphus. He made the most sense, for it was another open secret that his marriage was an unwilling one on both sides, and her conception would be in line with right before his marriage. Rabastan spent too much time hero-worshiping his brother to worry about romance, or so rumors said.
Londyn wanted nothing to do with them, but did research on everything on Lestrange she could. While doing that, Luna helped her learn about the pureblood society and Londyn continued her research on Riddle and the Gaunt family. She didn't care about the possibility of burnout, she needed answers and she would get them no matter what.
Then, her final year of Hogwarts came. And someone new immediately caught her eye. Draco Malfoy. Technically speaking they were related, in some way Londyn didn't care to think on. Cousins of some kind? Ah, it didn't matter. A lot of people were acting differently since the Dark Lord's return, but the absolute sadness she saw in Draco was something else entirely.
Then there was Dumbledore. She could tell that he was dying from something. Something dark, she could feel it in her bones. Perhaps something related to Riddle. Perhaps a Horcrux. She didn't know what to think of this theory, for she knows he is one of the best actors around, and therefore doesn't know his true motives.
Is he after power or the true destruction of Riddle? Only time would tell and she didn't like leaving something up to chance. So, instead of watching Harry this year, for it seemed to be a safer year, for now, she watched over Draco and the headmaster.
She caught Draco having a panic attack soon after the year started and forced him to open up. So, all he did was roll up his left sleeve, quickly unroll it, and walk away. Ah, another reason to watch over him.
Harry was suspicious of Draco being a Death Eater, but he didn't see that the pale haired boy was in intense suffering for that fact. So, when Londyn started to extend kindness to the Slytherin prefect, Harry went mad for it. Londyn had to pull the Gryffindor boy aside and tell him not to bother the poor boy, for he didn't know the whole story. He reluctantly agreed, for now.
Around Christmas, Londyn gets invited to attend Slughorn's Christmas Party and invites Luna to attend with her. But, Luna later takes it back, saying Harry needed her more for the party, and Londyn understood, for she had a back up plan. Draco was then invited by Londyn and unsurely accepted.
The party is awkward and Londyn tries to stick to the shadows, and Snape gets upset over the fact that she had Draco in tow. But other than that, nothing much happens and she goes back to proper lessons as well as her research on many a thing and continues her watchful eye on her new friend and Dumbledore.
Later in the year, Harry tells Londyn about his discovery with Slughorn's memories, which makes Londyn look into Slughorn a little. But she just finds a power hungry potion maker. Harry tells her about his lessons with Dumbledore as well. She doesn't understand why he trusts him so, but remembers all she can so she can work on her plan to kill Riddle.
But then she had to stop him before he attacked Draco later on. She warned Harry never to go after someone under her protection again, even himself. Harry stomped off angrily.
Then came the day that she smelt death coming. She followed Draco around from afar all day, feeling his behavior off. She carefully avoided the Death Eaters he let in, besides the auburn haired ones, who caught her watching, but did nothing.
Londyn followed to the Astronomy Tower and watched Draco disarm Dumbledore before admitting he had to kill the headmaster or else he'd see to his own death at the hands of the Dark Lord. That's when she walked over to the pitiful boy and grabbed his wand out of his hand, feeling the magic of it and forcing it to calm down and submit to her.
"Don't worry, my friend, I'll carry this burden for you and it'll be with your wand, no one will know the difference," Londyn easily said to Draco while not looking away from one of the people she disliked the most, the headmaster. The boy tried to deny her, until Snape showed up and went for a hesitant kill of Dumbledore.
Londyn whispered that the old man was already dying and that all is well in Draco's ear. Then she is grabbed from behind and picked up. She looks at her holder and he sports auburn hair and blue eyes. He tells her she needs to hide and she allows him to take her to a safe place.
She allows herself to stay where he told her to until it all blows over. Harry finds her at some point and asks her to explain herself. So she does, the headmaster was already dying and someone was going to do it anyway. Harry is upset, but tries to understand, but then he goes into how and why he saw.
He explains the fake Horcrux and Londyn already knew, for Kreacher had shown her the real locket. She just had no way to kill it off yet, but she had an idea. She needed to return to the US.
She waited until after the funeral, for the headmaster was to be respected for his magical prowess. At the funeral, Scrimgeour tells her about her inheritance. She is given the heirship of the Dumbledore name and a letter in his hand that just says, 'I'm sorry.' How ridiculous.
So, Londyn then goes to London City to settle affairs and grab a certain locket before heading back to the US. She visits multiple Native American reservations before stumbling across answers. See, there was an off-handed comment in a book on Horcruxes in the Black library that Native American muggles and magicals worked together to destroy a Horcrux one time.
She found a tribe that recognized the necklace for the darkness that it was and asked how to destroy it. Magical Gunpowder was essentially the answer. The tribe stumbled upon a Horcrux a century and a half ago and had to get rid of it. So they decided to combine the strongest muggle item, guns, with the strongest magic they could muster.
They created enough magically infused gunpowder for one shot, and used it. It did indeed successfully destroy the dark item that threatened them. But, there was no more gunpowder that was used, so Londyn would have to make her own. She asked them for help and they accepted, understanding the danger the locket had.
But their magic was weaker now and therefore unable to create something powerful enough to destroy Horcruxes. She needed to quickly learn the magics here and from other tribes in order to have a chance.
So that is what Londyn did. She put her blessed or cursed ability to quick use for the first time in her life in order to learn their magic in one shot and left. She traveled to each tribe, gained their trust through her acting abilities, learned their magic in one go, and left for the next.
She got through all the tribes in time as well, as Kreacher sends a message stating Luna had been kidnapped in the beginning of December. She makes her gunpowder and goes to Gringotts. She talks to her trusted goblin advisor(courtesy of Sirius), gets advice on where to get Goblin Silver and a Silversmith, and narrowly avoids capture by Death Eaters.
She goes to the directed place and is able to get what she needs, then goes to the trusted Silversmith. She pulls out a gun and a bullet to the said gun, and asks him to help her make new bullets for it. He takes one look in her eyes and agrees.
It takes 2 months for the bullets to be made, but they are made now and Londyn takes everything back to Grimmauld Place. She tests it and she is successful in destroying the locket Horcrux. She has 19 more bullets, just in case, for she had never shot anything before.
Then, she leaves everything in Kreacher's care, and he is more than happy to be a part of the Dark Lord's downfall. Afterwards, she goes to the Lovegood home for information and immediately notices Luna's father's off behavior. When the Death Eaters arrive though, she allows herself to be captured by two auburn haired, blue eyed men.
They take her to a safe house and take off their masks. One had a solemn, long face, with a thick beard. The other had a manic twitch to his boyish, pretty face with stubble covering his jaw. The solemn one went to speak but couldn't talk. The manic one asked if she was well.
"Do you want to take down your master?" were the first words she spoke to her birth family. They looked at her dumbfounded, but both nodded after a moment. She explained her idea and her knowledge of what was going on.
The solemn one sighed and said, "Bella has one in her vault, then." Londyn intervenes, saying she doesn't care at the moment. She only cares about Luna who was kidnapped. The manic one intervenes then, saying she was safe, as he and 'Dolph' were watching over the Lovegood girl, knowing she was important to Londyn.
Londyn looked carefully at both men and then asked, "Which one of you is my father?"
"I am," Rodolphus Lestrange strongly announces. Londyn grinds her teeth and he looks at her with sadness. He asks if there is anything he can do to allow her to accept him. She asks for the Horcrux in his wife's vault. He tells her it will be done.
Rabastan tries to stop his brother from accepting so easily, but the solemn man brushes him off. Londyn sighs and takes them to Grimmauld Place, so they have a place to flee to. Kreacher doesn't like the two men, for he feels they will take away his new master who is his third favorite of all time. But the house elf sees the coldness his master has towards them and doesn't worry too much.
Londyn does further research into the connection between Harry and Riddle until Rabastan tells her about Luna's escape. So she sends out a message, finds Luna's location and goes to her with all due haste.
When she meets up with Luna, she practically drags her back to Grimmauld Place, after thanking Harry for saving Luna and resting at Dobby's grave to thank him as well. She extends a welcome to Harry and his two followers as well, and they accept.
So, they all return to Grimmauld Place and Londyn shares that she can get rid of Horcruxes. She won't go into detail with everyone, only Luna, but they are excited. Harry's group also has Gryffindor's Sword which should also be able to destroy Horcruxes.
So when Rodolphus and Rabastan show up bloody and beaten, but with the cup, they put the sword to the test. It works as it should. Then, Londyn personally saw to healing the two men that went through hell for her. Afterwards, she looks at the man responsible for her life for a long time before nodding at him and saying, "Father," in acknowledgement. He teared up.
She did the same with Rabastan, looking at him a moment, nodding, and calling out, "Uncle." He threw himself at her for a hug and she accepted it with a small smile. Her father stole an even longer hug afterwards.
Then she would ask her family about Draco. They looked at each other and then at her, warily, before telling her the truth. He was suffering. Londyn grinded her teeth. That night she would poke-n-stick Draco's and Harry's name into her left forearm, under Luna's. In her mind that marked them as the people Londyn would do anything for.
But Ron would approach saying the Death Eaters couldn't be trusted. When she explained they stole a Horcrux to be trusted, Ron didn't care. Londyn sighed and told Ron he could leave then, as she trusted them and this was her home. Ron looked surprised to be denied and shut up instead.
Londyn would then approach Harry, asking for Draco's wand. He would give it to her easily enough, as it wouldn't listen to him. Londyn would remember that.
They would wait for the men to heal before leaving for Hogsmeade. It would be Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna, and Londyn that left. Londyn would send a message via remade DA coins when it was time for her father and uncle to join. Kreacher would take the two men to Hogwarts himself while bringing her weapon.
So after sundown, they went to Hogsmeade and Londyn took them to the Hog's Head. She had learned about Aberforth Dumbledore with her inheritance of the name. They talk and he shows them the entrance to Hogwarts.
Harry goes to find the Ravenclaw diadem, with Ron and Hermione in tow. Luna seeks out to prepare others for an upcoming battle and Londyn follows the smell of death coming in.
Londyn ends up at the Shrieking Shack and listens to Riddle and his snake harming Snape. When Riddle is gone, Londyn enters and offers a bezoar, for she always has one on her since Riddle came back. He takes it with a careful want.
Later she would hear from Harry about memories a supposed dying Snape gave him. She would sigh and tell Harry she knew Snape to be on Dumbledore's side this whole time. But then he would say that he needed to die, for he was a Horcrux himself.
Londyn would gulp and say, "I know." But then Londyn would admit she couldn't be the one to do it, not after inking his name into her skin. Harry nodded and said he had a plan. Then they hugged for the first and only time and said their farewells. Harry left for the Forest.
Londyn signaled on her coin for her family to join. A few minutes later, they popped into existence holding Kreacher's hands. Londyn nodded at them, took her weapon from them, and fought with her wand until it was time.
And when Riddle had everyone gather to show off Harry's dead body, Londyn readied herself to kill. She marched out, aimed the gun at Riddle's snake, and shot three times before hitting and before pointing the gun at Riddle.
Everyone watched as the snake thrashed around before succumbing to death. Then, Londyn emptied the rest of her clip into Tom Riddle himself and watched the life drain from his body. She ran over and pocketed the Elder Wand as well. The wand instantly reacted nicely to Londyn.
Both sides seemed dumbfounded by the attack, but the side of the Light acted first, swiftly rounding up the remaining Death Eaters. Londyn stepped back to go over to Luna and the Lestrange men. She asked to go to the Forest to thank Harry for what he did. When she did, she found the Resurrection Stone that she pocketed as well.
After the war, while settling her affairs, Londyn learned that Harry had made her his heir, with a note as to why. The note explained that he thought she could be the one to defeat the Dark Lord and that she might need use of the Invisibility Cloak.
So, Londyn was holder of all three of Death's artifacts, but she would think nothing of it, for now.
Londyn also learned that due to an old conquering law in the Wizarding World, she is to inherit everything under Riddle's name. How insane.
She hears from Luna that she wishes to return to Hogwarts to finish her schooling of two years. So, Londyn settles down in Grimmauld Place and learns all she can about obscure magic and all the families that she is tied to. During school breaks for Luna, she visits for a good chunk of time and they plan their future.
Draco finds her in Diagon Alley one day to ask for his wand and thank her for her assistance. Londyn would give the wand back and roll up her sleeve to show him his own name inked into her skin. Then she would roll it down and walk away.
Two years pass quickly and soon Luna and Londyn leave for obscure magic hunting. Over the next 25 years, they travel all over the world together, learning all they can from different cultures of magic users. Londyn also notices that she doesn't age anymore, and researches into the Deathly Hallows.
Then everything goes wrong.
Muggles caught magic in videos and it all circulated and got out of hand within the span of 5 days. Luna is one of the first kills after being asked kindly by a child about magic. It took only a couple of dreamy words and the adults around the child acted in violence. Londyn was away at a research dig site. But she knows something is wrong the moment Luna is attacked.
They had performed something similar to a magical marriage ceremony in order to tie themselves together ever closer to know when one was in danger.
She flees to Luna's last known location and finds her best friend of all time dying at muggle hands. Luna's last words to Londyn were, "You will find true happiness, I know it." For the second time Londyn can remember, she cries.
War between muggles and magicals breaks out soon afterwards and somehow Londyn finds herself in the center of it all. All due to the fact that she heals after taking damage. Word gets around and her Master of Death title is claimed.
Soon after Londyn is first called that, she meets Death himself for the first time. He becomes her next best friend for they are both lonely beings stuck in a terrible situation. She also learns about the Gods from him.
Only one God will speak to Death voluntarily and that is Fate herself. And even that was rare, for she liked to web her strings too much. But, when Riddle started to split his soul, two possible Champions to kill the Dark Lord were put into existence. One of Death's making and one of Fate's.
Death had asked Fate for a backup plan in case something happened to his Champion, Harry Potter. Fate replied that she would ensure her Champion would succeed, making Londyn herself. So Londyn was an unfortunate Child of Fate while Harry had been a Child of Death. Fate ensured Harry's death for Londyn to survive.
Fate believed that in order to be allowed to be Master of Death, one must be unwilling for eternal life, just as Londyn is. She doesn't want to live forever like Death implied, either. There can only ever be one Master of Death and it was supposed to be Harry.
So now, Londyn is tied to two Gods. She dislikes Fate's ways, but Death seems lonely and sad that she got pulled into all of this.
So, with Death whispering help in her ear, Londyn becomes the de facto war leader for the magicals. Even with his help, they lose in 2 years.
The muggles quickly and successfully created detection technology and wipe out whole communities of magicals. Londyn tries to save who she can, but after stumbling across the crucified bodies of her father, uncle, Draco, and Draco's family, she loses it for a while.
She becomes ruthless and uses all of her knowledge to decimate muggle communities in retaliation. Many magicals join her and this battle becomes known as The Magicals' Last Stand. Londyn and her allies suffer greatly from bombs being dropped and nobody but her is left with a fighting spirit.
So, Londyn helps them hide and protects them as much as she can. 200 years pass and the last magical besides Londyn herself just died. A small 13 year old centaur who reminded Londyn of a pale haired, dreamy girl of her past. Londyn hardened her heart once more and buried the pitiful boy's body.
Londyn is now officially alone. The Last Magical. She wanders for the next 5 years, posing as a muggle and offering help to a ruined world. She is hunting for that happiness Luna promised her. She doesn't find it.
And so she throws herself from tall buildings and mountains, throws herself into the deepest parts of the ocean, and no true death comes for her.
And Death tires of her sadness and attempts and asks if she wished to try another world instead.
So, Londyn awaited in a void that Death sent her to in order to start her next adventure. Till the whole body pain came.
