Enter the Fight
Bowser opened his mouth, firing fireballs at the two boys. Mario deflected it with his own fire as Luigi protected Peach with his electricity. Mario ran towards him, throwing a few fireballs. Bowser dodged them, clawing through some of them.
"Let me help you, Luigi." Peach begged, still in her ice form.
"You can, just be careful." He pleaded.
She nodded in agreement as Mario shouted. Luigi and Peach looked, seeing Bowser had him pinned down to the ground with his claws.
"Little help here!" Mario shouted.
"Gotcha now!" Bowser stated.
"Not today!" Luigi declared, running towards Bowser.
Peach fired an ice shot at Bowser, freezing his mouth shut. Luigi kicked Bowser in the stomach, getting him off of Mario. Bowser fell onto his back, struggling a bit to get up. Mario sat up as Peach got to his side.
"Are you okay?" She asked, concerned.
"Y - yeah, thanks." Mario answered, getting to his feet.
Peach nodded as she fired a few more ice shots. Bowser dodged one but the others got his claws. He fired a fireball, melting the ice around his mouth. Luigi dodged it as Mario joined in the fight. Mario punched Bowser in the stomach, his hand ignited with his brilliant red fire. Luigi kicked Bowser's jaw, his foot glowing of his brilliant green electricity.
Peach fired a few icicles, freezing the ground. Bowser slipped on it, trying to get away from the brothers. However, he slipped right on the ice.
"Ouch!" He complained.
"Give up Bowser, we have you now!" Mario threatened.
"And we are gonna make sure that your forces leave our world!" Luigi added.
Peach joined the twins as she asked, "So what's your choice, Bowser?"
"Pfft, like I would lose to the heroes of myth," Bowser answered, blowing a raspberry. "I rather beat them here and now!"
"Then you are going to get your butt beaten!" Mario stated, igniting his fire.
"Got that right!" Luigi agreed, starting his electricity.
"I'm ready too." Peach told them, making an ice ball. Bowser roared fiercely, firing a flamethrower at them. Mario, Luigi, and Peach dodged it. Sadly, the heat from the attack made Peach lose her ice flower power-up. "Oh no!" She cried.
"Bwhahaha," Bowser laughed evilly. "So much for your ice powers, princess!"
"We don't need them to beat you!" Mario commented, getting to his feet.
"He's right, we got you now!" Luigi added.
With that, the two brothers started to fight Bowser yet again. Bowser tried to claw at them, growling at them. Mario dodged it but Luigi got hit right in the stomach.
"Weegie!" Mario cried out.
"Luigi!" Peach cried, running over to him.
"Bwhaha! One down, one to go!" Bowser gloated.
Peach kneeled down to Luigi, who had three claw marks on his stomach. He was bleeding pretty badly. Mario quickly avoided one of Bowser's claws, going over to them. Peach was holding Luigi's body in her arms, the tears in her eyes. Luigi slowly opened his eyes as he saw Peach there. He stroked her hair softly, capturing her attention.
"I'm okay, Peach..." Luigi whispered softly.
Peach sniffled, taking his hand into hers, ignoring the blood on her gloves.
"Luigi...please...don't die..." Peach begged softly.
"I won't, I promise..." Luigi promised, his hand on her cheek.
Peach felt his hand guiding her head to his. She followed his motion as their lips inched closer to the others. Luigi kissed Peach softly, his hand on her cheek. Mario smiled at them but Bowser was furious.
"NO! That's supposed to me!" Bowser complained.
Luigi broke the kiss, cupping Peach's face into his hands. Peach blushed, giggling a bit. Mario looked over at Bowser, his body shaking with anger.
"You are going to regret doing that!" Mario threatened.
"Bring it on!" Bowser huffed.
As the two of them started to fight yet again, the ship started to tremble. Peach teared off a piece of her wedding dress, wrapping it around Luigi's wounds.
"What was that?" She asked.
"I - I don't know," Luigi answered, groaning a bit in pain.
Kamek flew over to Bowser and shouted, "Your Badness, the ship is falling back into the Mushroom Kingdom!"
"What?!" Bowser shouted, surprised.
"Wait, we were still in the Upper World all that time?" Mario asked.
"What do we do, Your Ugliness?" Kamek questioned, ignoring Mario.
"Abandon ship, what else?" Bowser answered, as if it was obvious. "Just trap those three onboard so we can escape!"
"You son of a..." Luigi started to say but was cut off by a fireball from Bowser.
Luigi dodged it quickly as the remaining Goombas cut off the three heroes. Mario kept Luigi behind him, more than ready to fight.
