My reincarnation is a weird experience for me. And I know what you imaginary people in my head are thinking " oH lEt Me GuEsS yOu wOkE uP iN yOuR mOtHeR's wOmB aNd lIvEd tHrOuGh tHe eXpeRi-" no… I did not experience that.
Now granted, it would be a weird ass experience but no, what I experienced was a lot less weird than that.
I didn't wake up as a toddler with all my memories, I woke up as a kid. Now there's a huge difference between a toddler and a kid but I'm not gonna go into detail with that.
I woke up as a seven year old with memories from back when I was four. It was like my body was on autopilot the whole time and I'm now only gaining control.
Another weird(read amazing) fact about me is that my intelligence is significantly higher than most people.
What I meant by most is 99.99999999 percent of people, maybe higher. No scratch that, it's definitely higher.
And I'm not saying that because I'm an egotistical dumbass, though It seems I have developed a bit of an ego from age 4 to 7 being genius and all that stuff, but no, it is because the place I was reincarnated in… was not the earth I know.
Yes, people. I was reincarnated in another universe like a generic Isekai protagonist from those japanese manga.
I got reincarnated into marvel. Not sure which universe this is but I know it's not the mcu since things don't look 'real?'. No I phrased that incorrectly, what I meant was that everything looks too animated. It's like I'm in an animated movie or show.
And I know this isn't one of the universes from that one animated spiderman movie since from what I saw on some news paper, the tony stark in this universe looks a lot like Robert Downey Jr. Just more animated looking.
But enough of that for now. Let me introduce myself.
My name is Alexander Mason. Genius, impoverished and a bit malnourished 4th grade kid living in the slums of Los Angeles, in skid row more specifically… yeah there's not much to boast about in my situation except for the fact that I'm already in 4th grade despite being only 7 years old.
My mom, Sarah Mason, is a cashier at the local target. She has long blond hair that goes just above her hips, a symmetrical face and a lithe figure that would've looked stunning if not for her disheveled looks that most likely came from stress.
From what I've heard, she was quite a big deal in the modeling industry but after she got pregnant with me, she lost everything. I don't know who my father is and my mom doesn't really talk about him a lot. The small information I've gathered about him tells that he's a rich guy that just sleeps with every woman he fancies and leaves them after.
My mom could've put the blame on me for ruining her career and taking everything from her but she didn't. She's doing her best to make my life as easy as she can make it. She's amazing, actually.
Ehem*
Anyways, enough of this sappy backstory.
I got all those traits from her except the long hair as I do not want my hair to get in the way of my work.
Yes, work. Now you imaginary folk might be asking " what kind of work could a seven year old possibly have?" Well let me tell you. I am an inventor, Plain and simple.
I'm making use of my intelligence to make stuff and sell them to the nearby gang that I made a connection.
We made a small deal that I would sell them guns and other kinds of weapons in exchange for keeping mom safe.
With the amount of homeless crackheads in this area, it couldn't hurt to be more than cautious.
My products range from low caliber rifles that I make from our basement made from cheap materials to emp grenades that I make from scrap materials.
Now you might be wondering where I learnt all of this? The answer is the public library.
You would be surprised by how much you could learn from a public library. My mother started taking me to it after I asked her when I was about 5. With my apparent intelligence, she didn't even think twice and agreed without complaints. She bought me books from time to time but with her budget being tight, I could understand why it's a rare occurrence.
I keep telling her that she doesn't need to buy me books and that the library books are enough for me but she's insistant on the matter.
I want to give her the money that I get from selling weapons but I don't want to break her heart. No mother would want their child to make and sell weapons just because they can't provide
enough for them. I tried to give her money once and a volley of questions about where I got them ensued and to this day I still can't remember how I convinced her to keep the money.
I decided that I would just save the money for a project that I was planning on building. It was quite expensive because of the computer required. I don't want to steal anything, my conscience will not let me, so I'm just gonna rely on my income as an illegal arms dealer to save enough money.

"I'm home, Alex!"
Alex's thoughts were cut short by his mother's soft voice.
He shot up from his seat at the couch and immediately went to the door to greet his mother.
"Hey mom, how's work?" He asked, taking the grocery bags from her to put them on the counter.
Sarah sighed. "Stressful, as always. Thanks for asking though." She said the last part with a smile.
There's a frown evident on Alex's face but he didn't say anything about the matter. He knew it was stressful working in a store since There's always rude customers, inconvenient work hours and generally just the whole workplace.
He stopped mid-walk and turned his head to his mother.
"Hey mom… why don't we move out of here?"
Sarah looked at him with a thin but gentle smile.
"We've talked about this, honey. We don't have the money to rent a house or even a small room in other places."
'but we do, mom. I have saved enough money to rent a place for a few months without worrying about food and bills!' Alex bit his lip holding back from saying anything and just keeping his thoughts to himself.
His mother continues."and besides, this house is the only thing I have left from my parents."
The way she said it with a low and solemn tone made Alex's heart ache. He couldn't stand hearing his mother being upset, so he decided to change the topic.
"You must be hungry, mom. I made some food, we should eat it before it gets cold"
Alex practically drags her towards their small dining table. He guided her to her seat and prepared the food on the table. It was a simple but delicious rice and beef stew.
Sarah sighed, she ushered Alex to get close to her and when he's within arms reach, she pinched both his cheeks and pulled lightly.
" You didn't need to do any of this, Alex. It's my responsibility to take care of you, not the other way around." She chastised quietly. A small frown on her lips.
Alex shook his head. " This is the only thing I could do to repay you so please let me do this, mother"
His mother let go of his cheeks with a sigh and then flicked him lightly on the forehead. "You're stubborn, you know that?" A smile adorning her once frowning face. " And you don't owe me anything. Anyways, let's eat before the food gets cold."
The pair ate in peace, taking about various stuff and activities they did earlier in the day.
Alex's usual serious expression was replaced by a rare peaceful smile.

-Weeks later, Early in the morning.-
Haaaaaaa~* Alex yawned as he sat up from his bed. He looked to his clock sitting on his nightstand and saw that it was 5:40 am.
It was Saturday so he doesn't have to worry about going to school, which is a good thing since he finds it boring and tedious with his memories from his previous life and all that.
After washing his face and changing his cloths Alex hollered for his mom to check if she already left.
"Good morning, Mom!"
His mother greeted him in return.
" Good morning, Alex, I made some breakfast, I already ate so go ahead and eat."
Alex obliged. He sat down on the table and picked up the remote for their small tv that He fixed to working condition after finding it in a dumpster nearby. Most of their home appliances are either fixed or made by him to save money since her mother's 9 to 5 don't pay enough.
He turned the television on and waited for today's weather report.
As he was silently eating, a piece of news made him click his tongue and grip his utensils harder.
"" Last night five members of the gang 'arms of death' were found dead after presumably being ambushed by a still unidentified rival gan-""
Arms of death was the gang that he was associated with. It was founded over ten years ago but their growth remained slow as the requirements to enter were quite obscure and the only way to enter is by being invited.
He's not an official member since he was, in their words, too young to be in a gang. But he's still a valued person to them as the weapons he's making cost considerably Less than the ones they could get at the black market with the same quality.
To Alexander, they're as valuable to him as he is to them. They're doing a good job at protecting his mom and even have some members secretly stationed near their house in case something happens.
Both parties have the same high level of respect to one another.
He continued eating quietly and a few minutes later he heard his mom step out of her room, already dressed in her work uniform and ready to go.
She walked up to the sitting form of Alex and placed a kiss on top of his head and then gently ruffled it.
Alex looked up and saw his mother grinning at him.
"I'm headed to work. Don't worry I'll be back in no time." Sarah spoke softly before adding. " You should take a bath. You reek of grease and motor oil."
Alex nodded and Sarah walked to the door.
Before she reached it though, she heard Alex behind her say. "Take care."
She faced him and her grin widened. " I will."
" And Alex… I know you love to tinker with electronics and invent stuff but you should be easy on yourself. You might not notice it but you look more tired than me when I get home. I worry about you, honey" she said with a solemn tone. She didn't wait for Alexander's response and just walked through the door and silently closed it.
From his seat, Alex could only look longingly at the door. He wished he could tell his mother what he was up to and help her financially but he knows that it's just gonna break her heart. knowing that her son was getting involved and even selling weapons to a gang for her safety would crush her.
A small, sad smile formed at the corner on Alex's lips.
"Soon, mother, I promise I'll tell you soon. Once I get enough funds for this little project of mine, you won't have to worry about working anymore."
He waited a few minutes to make sure his mother has actually left before turning off the tv and then beelining to their basement.
He opened the door and stepped inside the dark stairs leading down the basement. His blue eyes gleaming in the darkness.
"Welp, time to work."he said.
Turning on the lights revealed the contents of the unusually clean basement.
Two office tables with drawers forming an L in the north east corner.
On top of them lay numerous papers containing blueprints of the project Alex was working on, a soldering gun and some necessities for drawing.
Two wooden crates are stacked on the opposite corner of the room.
A tall shelf filled with all of his inventions and equipments, sits beside them.
A small trash can sitting right under the table, half filled with papers.
And lastly a work table covered by a blanket in the middle of the room.
He sat on the wheeled office chair in front of his office tables and opened a drawer. It revealed a flip blue phone and some small coin looking objects. He took one of the coin looking objects and observed it for a while, trying to remember what it was. He definitely made those as it had his signature AL mark on it.
His eyes widened as he remembered what they were. He set it on the drawer again for now as he has a more important thing to do.
He picked up the flip phone and leaned back on his chair. Opening it, he went through his contacts and called a person saved as two.
It rang a few times before the person on the other side picked up.
"What's up small A? You're awfully early." He heard the deep sounding voice of two say.
"I just called to check up on you guys, I saw the news." Alex replied.
After a few seconds with two not replying, Alex spoke up again.
"Two?"
A sigh was heard from the person now named "two on other side. " Everythings alright, don't worry about it. 5 of our members got tagged and Bossman almost bit the dust-"
"WHAT?!" Alex asked, surprised. Bossman was a friend of his, sort of, he was the one that Alex approached when he was just starting his weapon making gig. They're a bit close together and "Bossman" was a sort of big brother figure to him. Even though he's a criminal in the eyes of the law. Which he sort of is, but he treats every right. He formed a gang that has a moral compass and they don't involve civilians in their business.
"Chill small A! Chill!" Two interrupted him before his freakout grew. "Bossman is fine now. He got tagged on the chest but he's alright now. You don't need to worry about us, kid. By the way, how was the new batch going?"
Alex grumbled before replying. " That's good. About the weapons. I've already finished the first crate and I'm halfway through the second. I already have all the parts cut and prepared so the only thing left to do is assemble them. It should be ready by tomorrow night if I work on it for the entirety of today."
Alexander's formal and professional reply made two chuckle. " There's the old Al. Always so professional when at work. You shouldn't be so serious all the time, you're still a kid after all. Live life a little and all that jazz."
Alex's right eyebrow twitches slightly, floored by the accusation. " Yow, just so you know I'm not always grumpy and boring! I can have fun too!"
He heard two laugh at his objection. And he too formed a small smile of his own.
"Whatever you say Alex. Just call us if you need anything."
"Sure" he was about to end the call but he remembered the coin shaped things in his drawer. " Oh actually one last thing."
He picked one of the things and began rolling it on his knuckles.
" I just found something that I made a while back. I think this could be really helpful for the gang. I could restart its production if you guys are interested in buying them."
Two could practically hear the smirk Alex is sporting. With his curiosity piqued, he couldn't help but ask.
"Okay Al, you can stop smirking now. Please tell me what it is so I can tell Bossman about it."
But Alex's smirk only grew wider as he replied. "Nah, I changed my mind. I think I'll just show it to Bossman personally the day after tomorrow, which is Monday if I remember correctly, as I believe a personal demonstration would be much, much cooler."
"This ki-" he didn't even let two finish his words and he immediately dropped the call.
He released a deep breath. *Haaaaah~*
He stood up and walked towards the shelf with his inventions. He inspected it from top to bottom, looking for a specific contraption that would help him assemble the guns faster. Some of his inventions look normal compared to others. There's a normal looking shoe at the Lowest shelf, a gray hooded jacket with purple insides, an LED mask that's currently turned off and the one he was looking for. The last of the normal looking items was an unsuspecting red and purple vans backpack.
"There we go! Found ya!" Alex said as he wears the backpack.
He sat down on his office chair again before pushing himself towards the worktable in the middle.
He put his hands on the strap of his backpack causing a glow to emanate from inside the backpack before four tube-like appendages with three piece pinchers on each end meant for grabbing precisely.
"Welp, time to work!" He said cheerfully as he used one of the pinchered appendages to pull off the blanket cover and immediately began his work.

Welllllllll~ what do you guys think? Ian and I recently watched Spiderman into and across the spider verse and it gave me an idea. It's been hanging on the edge of my mind as a plot bunny
for a while now so I decided to ask Ian for his opinions. I have a bit of this fic planned already so I think I won't experience a writer's block with this fic like I did on entanglement.
I'd like to hear your thoughts about this. Favorite, follow and review. It fuels my desire to update this.
If you guys like this I might consider continuing this.
That's all! See ya!
