A week has passed and now it's Monday the 23rd and Dave is dropping off Simon, Theodore, Jeanette, and Eleanor at school while he brings Alvin and Brittany to the hospital since Brittany is due any day now. When they got to the school Dave looked at them "Alright guys, be good at school while I bring Alvin and Brittany to the hospital" They all nod their heads "We will Dave! We will visit later guys."
Simon said while Alvin and Brittany smiled and replied "Okay bye!" They left, leaving them to suffer and a bit worried about when their nieces and nephews will come. They walked into the school and got crowded by their friends. Jeanette smiles "Hi guys!" Amber scoffs "Don't hi guys to us!" They act confused. "What do you mean?" Simon questioned while Kevin spoke "You're keeping something from all of us about Alvin and Brittany" Eleanor scoffs "Seriously! You think something is going on?"
Vanessa rolls her eyes "Uh yeah! We haven't seen Brittany in two weeks! And last week was supposed to be her week in class and she wasn't there, not to mention that Cheesy said that Alvin was with her in the office and not in class where he's supposed to be! Something is up and we know that you guys know something and we want to know!"
They looked at each other nervously knowing that they just got caught, so they sighed and were about to tell them when the principal came over. "What's going on over here? I heard yelling" Simon gave her the look which she caught and looked at the confused students. "Alright, it looks like you are looking for questions about Alvin and Brittany?"
They all nod, "Alvin and Brittany are at the hospital right now because Brittany is pregnant and is due any day now" Amber and Vanessa gasped "No wonder Brittany fell asleep in class!" Amber said shocked "Omg! Why didn't she tell us!" Kevin looks confused "Wait? Aren't girls pregnant for nine months?" Simon nods "Yep but girl chipmunks are pregnant for only a month" Cheesy eyes widen "Really, wow" Jeanette looks at them with a sly smile "So you guys aren't upset that we kept this all from you?"
They all nod "Of course not! We totally understand the secrecy. Us girls would've done the same thing!" Vanessa said while Eleanor smiles "Great!" The principal claps her hands together "Alright now that all of you know what's going on, get your things together and get to class." With that, they all went to where they needed to be.
(At the hospital)
They got into the room where Alvin and Brittany will be staying till their kids come. Alvin and Brittany are sitting on the bed while Dave is talking to the nurse and doctor. Brittany giggles "The kids are kicking again" Alvin laughs and places his hand on her stomach "Hey there guys! We are waiting for you to come into the world" They kicked where Alvin's hand is telling him that they heard him. Brittany smiles and giggles again "I guess they heard you, Alvin." Alvin smiles "Looks like it." Then he sighs "I can't believe that any day now they will be in our arms"
Brittany smiles as well "I know! I can't wait to see their beautiful faces and name them" Dave walks over to them "Hey guys want anything from the cafe?" Alvin smiles "Can I just have water?" "Can I have chocolate cake? If they have any?" Dave nods and walks to the cafe while Alvin looks at her "When this pregnancy is done, your taking a huge break from Ice Cream and Cake" Brittany giggles "Okay fine" The nurse comes in the room "Hey guys I have some news about the babies" They get a bit nervous "Is it anything bad?" The nurse shakes her head "Oh no! Not at all, I was just going to tell you when your estimated due date is" Brittany smiles "When is it?"
"Wednesday," She said while Alvin blinked "In two days" "In two days indeed" the nurse chuckled. Brittany smiles "Thanks for the news. Also if I do go into labor in the middle of the night. What do we do?" She smiles "Just ring the emergency button instead of the call button" "Great thanks," Alvin said. The nurse left while Dave came into the room "Alright guys I got the stuff you wanted and Alvin I also got you yummy bunnies" They both took what Dave got them "Thanks, Dave!" Dave looks at them "I got to go back home now guys. I will be back here with your siblings later"
They nod while Brittany spoke "Okay bye" Dave left. The kids kicked Brittany hard "Oww! Hey, don't kick hard. Mommy doesn't want to feel any pain right now" Alvin chuckles and then smiles "The feeling of almost getting called Daddy is really weird but it feels so right" Brittany looks at him "Yeah same for me but I get called Mommy" Alvin sighs "I can't wait any longer" Brittany agrees "Same"
(5 hours later)
Dave pulled up at the school and is waiting for Simon, Theodore, Jeanette, and Eleanor to get out of school. When they got to the car Dave looked at them "Hey guys, how was school?" Jeanette looks at Dave "They know Dave" Dave blinks and sighs "It was going to get out anyway. How did they take it?" "They took us quite well," Simon said while Dave nodded "Okay that's good. Anyway, are you guys excited to see your siblings?"
Theodore nods "Yeah! It's been boring with them not in school" Eleanor agrees "Yeah I want to ask how they are holding up. I'm curious if they know when their due date is..." Jeanette smiles "Yeah I'm curious too!" "Dave, do you know the due date?" Simon asked. He shakes his head "Nope. But we can ask Alvin and Brittany if they know when we get there" They all nod their heads.
