Hi everybody; Ashley Masenado (aka Alexa) here. You're probably confused right now as to why I'm writing on a new account, especially with the long non-updated TGiaTW Shorts series up there. Let me explain, because it's a long story.

The reason I stopped writing on the other account is because the truth is—I was locked out of it. No, I wasn't hacked, don't worry your heads off. I was locked out of it because my mom changed the password. She doesn't, and still doesn't like how much I've been writing. Especially with school coming back up in three weeks from now; she wants me to study more and leisure and hobbies should come second. Now none of you please get me wrong! I do want my grades to improve, especially after Grade 9. But I still want to be able to finally get TGiaTW out after two years. "Two Brothers and The Beast" and "Tensions" are coming along really smoothly, because I've rewritten them and all the other episodes for how short they were and how (how do I put this?) childish the writing felt. My stories are meant to be for all ages; for kids, teenagers and adults, both young and senior, to read and enjoy. That's why I'm looking to rewrite the whole story, to make it more suitable for everyone.

I've also decided to change many major things in the plot of some episodes, especially "Prison Break," but I'm not going to mention what. Many things are going to be changed, and I've thought of giving Julia and Vexy some solo episodes without giving away too much of what I have planned for them both in the future. I don't want Teen Girl in a Toon World to feel like some rip-off of Amphibia or the Cuphead Show. I want it to be its own story in a way that feels different from its inspirations, even if the plot can be a bit of the same. But there are many things in the plot I've been changing to make things different from Amphibia. I can't wait to show you guys what they all are, but it's best to focus on the present.

The main reason I've been delaying TGiaTW however, is because I've been busy with plenty of other stuff, including the infamous Dream SMP, the QSMP, many other animation-related fandoms and wanting to learn animation. But I've been getting more and more back into it lately, with episodes coming along smoother than I expected. It might be more delayed with school season back on, but I'll be sure to balance both school and writing better, God willing.

I don't think I have much else to say here, as I will be busy for the rest of what time I have left of summer to prepare for school. But I do want to say thank you all so much to everyone who took a little bit of time to click on the original story, and for leaving a review or two or even more and making my day. I hope to someday finish this work at last for all of you to enjoy, and remember to take care of yourselves. God bless, stay hydrated, and I hope to see you all soon.
