"Howdy!" Randy chimed happily after Mei opened her front door not long after he knocked. He didn't even have to look away from her half-awake expression to see the 3 large bags behind her. This was hardly the first time Randy had traveled with a woman, so he wasn't surprised by her excess baggage and had even left a good 1/4 of the canopied pickup bed just for her items. "Sorry fer da early wake up call, but I did come with fresh made coffee and breakfast!" The male smiled more proudly as he placed his baseball cap back on his head, backwards, that he'd taken off to properly greet his female travel companion.

"I thought we agreed to stop off at Starbucks?" Mei questioned before letting out a large yawn as Randy made his way around her to pick up two of her bags.

"And we will, but 3 in da morning is a bit early take hit up just about any type of place like dat." Randy explained to his passenger he'd be with for the next week and a half. "Ya need anything out up these fer up front?" The male squirrel turned around and ask the feline female when he was halfway down her driveway.

"No. The 3 big ones can go in the back. The ones I'll be needing are on the couch." She now stretched a bit as she turned around to look over the items she'd just spoke of. It was if she was making sure she had everything, but still so tired she couldn't recall what was, and wasn't, being checked off her mental list.

"Understood!" Randy called back with just enough force to hopefully not wake the whole neighborhood. "I just hope yer ready ta work up an appetite da next few day, cause I got some great cooking packed up fer us!" The squirrel beamed brightly at his statement as he made his way back into Mei's house to retrieve the last large black suitcase for the back of his pick-up.

"Cooking?" Mei asked surprised as she picked up half of her small bags to place in Randy's half extended cap behind her seat.

"Of course!" Randy laughed not at all shocked she wasn't expecting him to be bring actual meals to cook and eat. "I planned this trip out cheap, but still looking ta eat good. Especially, now dat I upgraded ta a fancy lady navigator." Randy shot his tongue out at her briefly to show he was joking about her gender being part of his reasoning, despite the fact it wasn't completely untrue, and they both know it. Randy then proceeded to pick up the remainder of Mei's, somewhat, smaller bags off her couch so he could hand them over to her, at the passenger side of his truck, allowing her to places them properly for her use during the long trip. "Anything else ya need?" Randy asked with a sly grin as he knew damn well she likely did have something else on her mind.

"Actually..." Mei sighed with frustration before making her way back into her house to dig some item, or items, she'd overlooked before but now at the very moment before departure came to realize she would be unable to live without.

"Take your time." Randy sighed still holding onto his smile as he watched his female friend, who had hardline friend zoned him only months earlier, run back into her high upper-class home.

A good ten minutes passed as Randy looked down at his watch a few times. He wasn't in a rush to leave, but just needed something to take up his attention as he waited for his beautiful sidekick to finally join him outside again. He looked up hopefully at the sound of her front door closing shut, and then became more thrilled to see her backed turned to him as she locked her door. The large purse sized bag she had filled to the brim now slung over her shoulder caused him no discomfort as he was use to traveling light over all for himself, and was well aware that one female on a trip took up as much space as 3 males. And thus, he'd planned more than accordingly.

"Alright." Mei breathed a sigh of relief as the two friend finally settled in the males truck, as she placed her newly filled bag just behind her seat.

"Coffee, fer da pretty lady." Randy said as he offered her a seemingly newly purchased thermos as the one, he'd just taken a drink out of looked as if it'd been beat up to hell and back.

"I got some breakfasts burritos I made up not too long ago in one of dim hot bags in da middle console-" Randy knocked on the divider between the two that was just behind the two cup holders. "So whenever ya want breakfast we can dig in." The male continued to smile as he finally turned the key and brough his old beak up truck to life.

"Have you already eaten?" Mei now asked as the truck started moving in reverse on her barely lit residential street.

"No, ma'am. I'm hungry when yer hungry." The male replied as he now shifted his truck into first gear and start to move forward. Officially marking the start of their road trip with one another.
