Crimson's Pov
I wake up to the feeling of sun hitting my freckled face. Soon I realize that my back is sore as well, I could feel that I was laying on the cold ground. I open my eyes to see that I was laying down near a cave entrance and that is was bright and sunny outside . I sit up and look around the cave for the man named Strider. Though he's not in the cave with me , the only thing that was left in the cave was bags and a fire that was put out recently. Strider and the Horse was gone , I don't know where but I was glad that they were gone. I look down at my hands and realize that Strider untied them, big mistake on his part. I push myself up with my hands and stand up, I dust the dirt off my dress and head outside of the cave. Once I'm out of the cave , I look around for any sign of Strider in the surrounding area . There's no sign of him or the horse anywhere nearby .
" This is your chance to escape Crimson!" I say out loud to myself . I walk further from the cave and onto open lands . I only walked a few miles before the sun got to me , I felt very hot and uncomfortable. I need to find some type water to drink and maybe wash myself with . I change the direction where I was going , to find a river or lake to refreshen myself up in . I didn't get far before I hear horse hooves hitting the ground behind me . I turn around to see that a horse and rider heading my way at a fast pace. I squint my eyes to see who it was on the horse, the squinting helped me focus on the figure on the horse . My eyes widen in shock when I saw it was Strider, with the speed the horse was going his hair was flying wildly in the wind. I frantically look for a spot to hide , I quickly spot a large boulder that was short distance from where I was . It would be big enough to hide myself , I sprint over to the boulder and jump behind it. I lower myself into crouched position and peeked over the boulder to see if I could see Strider in by. Though when I peek over the boulder , I couldn't see Strider anywhere it was like he disappeared in the wind. Strider must of not seen me and rode past me and the boulder. I sighed in relief and sagged against the the boulder.
" That was some sprint I must say, Miss Knight" I hear a voice say behind me . I close my eyes in frustration and Slowly turn around to face the person who was talking to me. I see a horse chest and I look up to see Strider smirking down at me .
I gave Strider a glare " How did you find me so fast ?" I ask him with a bit in my tone.
He chuckled and hopped down from his horse and walk up to me" I'm a Ranger Miss Knight , I know how to track someone that I'm looking for. Plus you are really bad at covering your tracks that I'm sure a small child can find you".
I blush and look down at my feet , Feeling embarrassed that he said I was bad a covering my tracks.Strider walks back to the horse and grabs a rope from it's saddle. Seeing his movements out of the corner of my eye, I Snap my head up and shake it in disapproval. Strider doesn't seem to mind my disapproval because he starts walking towards me with a grin. I back myself up as far I could , which wasn't far because I was already pressed against the boulder.
" You're not going to tie me up again sir" I tell him with my most firm voice that I have .
Strider give a smirk at my words" I see it as you only have two choice Miss Knight...".
" Crimson , my name is Crimson" I corrected him in steady voice.
Strider nods his head in acknowledgment " Crimson ... as I was saying you have only two options here".
I look up into to his eyes making sure that we made eye contact. I want to see if he was going to bluff his way to get me to go with him. Though I seen no sign of bluff only a serious expression on Strider's face, which told me that he was complete serious .
" Oh what are my two options Mr. Ranger? " I cockily ask Strider .
Strider stops just in time before he walks right into me , he leans forward just barely an inch and now our face are almost touching" Your options are you willingly climb up onto the horse and we go back to our camp or You don't come willingly and I have to tie you to the horse saddle again. We still go back to our camp but instead of me untying your hands , your hands remain tied. It's really your choice Crimson, so what is it going to be willingly or unwillingly?" Strider ask me so calmly while backing away from me a little.
I think about the options that he has given me for a little while before I make up my mind" I'll come willingly with you but that's not because I want to. It's because I don't want to be tied up again that shit hurts the wrist" I say replying to his question.
Strider grabs my hand and walks me to the horse . I try to climb up on the horse on my own but I can't seem to pull myself up. So Strider gives me a little push to help me up before he gets on behind me. Strider warps is arms around me and tell the horse to go" My apologies Crimson just try not to run and I won't have to tie your hands" Strider chuckles close to my ear.
