Later that day, Felix was in his room practicing more fighting with the equipment Link gave him. At one point he heard someone knocking on the door and went to answer it thinking it was Carlina. When he opened the door FeliX realized that it was actually Cynthia.

"Hello Felix," said Cynthia, "Is it alright if I come in?"

"I suppose," answered Felix, "But why do you want to?"

"I just want to talk if that's alright with you," explained Cynthia, "We didn't talk much the other day in Castle Town and I had been interested in doing more after I saw you in the throne room."

"Well I guess that's ok," replied Felix, "So from what I heard, you were secret shopping when we met?"

"Yes," answered Cynthia, "You see I get bored with my studies as Princess and I can't leave the castle without someone watching me, usually my attendant, Amina." "So I sometimes sneak out of the castle into Castle Town in disguise to enjoy what can be done there."

"So that's why you wore the hood that time," said Felix, "Do you want freedom?"

"Kind of," answered Cynthia, "I accept my role as the heir to the throne but there are times I want some excitement in my life." "By the way, Mother told me that you came from another world." "What was it like?"

"Well it is way different than this world," admitted Felix, "Things were sometimes hard there but I never minded living there." "To be honest though, my life was mostly empty." "I had nothing interesting or exciting to do that could satisfy me and I didn't have many friends."

"What about family," asked Cynthia."

"Well I did have my parents," explained Felix, "I suppose if I don't return anytime soon, they'll assume I died in some accident which could upset them but I doubt I can figure out how to tell them I'm alright and where I am."

"I'm sorry," apologized Cynthia, "I don't know how you got here but I do feel bad that your life changed so drastically." "By the way, I heard that you're learning how to fight from General Garry." "Personally, I always thought he was the best of Father's four apprentices." "I myself am learning from my attendant Amina who was once another of the four."

"Does that mean all four of your father's apprentices work for your family," asked Felix.

"Just those two," answered Cynthia, "After learning all he needed from Father, Yama became a mercenary who travels all over Hyrule helping people with problems that can't be solved by Hyrule's armies. "As for the last one, Thorin, he didn't like Hyrule being the successful kingdom it is today, so ten years ago, he tried to use what he learned to start a rebellion only for Father to defeat him and he's been in the dungeon ever since."

"Princess Cynthia," said a voice, "Where are you?" "It's almost time for dinner."

"It seems that it's getting late," said Cynthia, "I enjoyed talking to you Felix." "I hope we can do this more often." "I have to get to Amina since she's looking for me." "One thing though, Are you ok with becoming my friend?"

"I've never really had that many friends before as I explained earlier so I would like that," answered Felix.

Cynthia then left Felix's room and went to find Amina while leaving Felix stunned a second later having just realized something.

"I'm friends with a Princess," thought Felix to himself, "I never thought I could pull something like this off."

A minute later, Carlina showed up with Felix's dinner which Felix started to eat after thanking Carlina. As he ate, Felix ended up deep in thought about the day's events.
