What if Clary was kidnapped in broad daylight outside a coffee stand by Sebastion? Who would come to her rescue her if no one was looking anymore except a boy with piercing blue eyes?

It had been seven days….

"Alright sister, I spared your friend, now it's time for you to uphold your end of the bargain" he said as he walked down the hallway to his room while stripping his clothes. I swallowed my fear and took a shaky breath to steady my beating heart. "No Clary, don't do this, my life is not worth the price he's asking for!" Alec cried as he tried for the millionth time to break free of the shackles that held him down. I couldn't look into Alec's piercing eyes, I couldn't look anywhere but at my feet as I fought back tears, took another breath, stuffed my emotions deep down, steadied my glare with determination upon the fibers of the velvety soft cream white carpet and began walking after Sebastian.

Clary's PoV

It was a beautiful afternoon deep into fall in New York city. There were leaves falling, twirling, dancing in the wind as birds chirped, squirrels ran up and down trees, creating mess with pinecones and teasing birds as they would try to swoop in for a catch but were barred from success by their speed. I pulled out my sketch book with the intention of sketching but after a minute I put it away. Inspiration was far from my reach as my mind replayed the events of this morning over in my head. It was a normal day, or as normal as it gets when you're a shadowhunter and you're living in the New York shadowhunter academy, or at least it was till I heeded up to our room for my gear.

Things had been rocky of late, my mother died in a tragic accident, I killed my father, I brought Jace back from the dead. Then this morning he cheated on me. I had found him tied up in bed with several fae girls, moaning and giggling this morning. He had done that on purpose. He knew I would be walking up to our room to get my gear for training. Jace had been strange, sometimes cruel for the last few weeks, but that was the tipping point. I didn't have much time to be mad at him however as Alec heard my scream of anger from across the hallway and opened the door behind me to see the scene before me. As quick as lightning. Alec threw a small dagger straight for Jace's shoulder and it sank home. I was surprised by that, why would you injure your own parabatai but then again, it wasn't going for any main body parts and a quick rune would fix that. However what we both didn't expect was the laugh, if you could call it that, twisted and evil as what looked like a green fae portal began to appear behind him. I don't remember much after that, only Alec shoving me behind him and locking the door I assumed with a rune. He found me ten minutes later on the floor in shock and I vaguely recall him telling me that Jace had portaled out shortly after and he had checked the premises but there was no sign of him. I nodded, stood up with help from him and started walking. No gear, no phone, just my backpack that had some pencils and an old sketch book with some blank pages. No one had stopped me, not even Alec, he knew I needed space.

It was beginning to get chilly and after a quick look into my bag, I found my wallet, stood up and started walking towards the nearest coffee truck for some caffeine where I bumped into a red head boy who was also waiting in line. "Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going" I said as I looked up into his green eyes.
