The ghosts were milling about the front entrance waiting for Sasappis who told them he had something for all of them to see when he did arrive with Sam.
"Alright Sasappis, what was so important that you insisted on us meeting here?" asked a rather irritated Hetty.
"Well, let's be reasonable, we didn't have much else to do," pointed out Pete, trying to be diplomatic as always.
"Now, don't anyone think me weird but I was wandering the rooms seeing what some of the families were doing to get some entertainment and I saw some kids watching something on the television that I thought we should watch together," he explained.
"Wait, you stopped and watched a kids' show, and the children were in the room?" asked Sam with a raised eyebrow.
"It was an accident, I didn't know who was in the room and the title just caught my ear," explained Sasappis. So, the ghosts and Sam went up to Thorfinn's room where the television they shared was and Sam turned on the television.
"Alright, I'm going to go to On Demand, so that way I don't have to try to find the show clicking through the channels," explained Sam.
"I wish they had that back in the eighties, then I wouldn't have had to crunch time to watch my favorite show," mused Pete. Sam then got into the Kids & Teen free area and she looked back at her Lenape friend.
"Okay, what was the title of the show?" she asked him.
"It was literally called 'The Ghost and Molly McGee'," he replied. His fellow ghosts all looked at him in surprise.
"It was a show about a ghost? Honey, we're already ghosts, why would we need to see that?" asked Alberta.
"I thought it might be fun to see what they got right, and what they got wrong," he answered sheepishly. Sam had to look up the show on her phone so she would know what station it aired on but she was able to pull it up and selected an episode. Now, because the ghosts regularly found themselves incapable of doing many things, they easily got amused. This show was no exception.
"Scratch is able to go to a Ghost World and interact with other deceased people? That is so not fair! The things I'd say to Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin if I could talk to them again!" exclaimed Isaac.
"Scratch can eat lots of food? Lucky bastard!" exclaimed Thorfinn.
"He is not restricted to the boundaries of his haunting and can go through town? He has no idea how lucky he is!" exclaimed Hetty.
"And he doesn't have to strain himself to touch anything, just like the Maitlands in Beetlejuice! I wish interacting with physical objects was that easy!" said Trevor in a bit of a bitter voice.
"Look at all the pretty colors!" said Flower.
"Sass, tell me again why you thought it was a good idea for us to watch this show?" asked Trevor.
"I thought we could laugh at its inaccuracies, and it looked like fun," Sasappis replied.
"If you're not enjoying this, I can turn it off," offered Sam.
"No, no, no!" all the ghosts shouted in unison.
"I want to see what adventures those two get into, Scratch is lucky he has a living friend he can hug properly and that he can choose who can see him and who can't," said Pete. After that, The Ghost and Molly McGee became one of the ghosts' favorite shows they could all watch together and laugh about together.
