Re: Zero - Anomaly in This Particular World (One-Shot)

One man was walking towards something. A goal. His goal.

He wore a purple jacket and somewhat dark beige pants. His shoes were dark brown and wore white gloves. His hair was various browns and strands of greys. His face wore a permanent scowl.

"If memory serves correctly... This should be the most common place for men courting women."

As he walked, his heartbeats become quicker, his needs were to be met, after all.

"This place should be good enough, no, it will be good enough. Wherever I choose is perfection either way."

As he spoke aloud to himself, he caught some looks in his direction. Some were curious about his words, others were weirded out by the man speaking to himself with such a look on his face.

Those of insignificance always cast their glances at me, every single time. How annoying.

He would walk to a particular table and sit, listening to a man and a woman speak with each other as quietly as they could.

Unlucky for them, the oddly dressed man eavesdropping could hear them perfectly.

"Darling, I don't think this is the place for that."

"Oh? But you don't seem uninterested in the idea."

"I am... But we're in public."

Disgusting, I should just kill them now.

"Hm, you say that Dear, yet you're the one that started all of this."

Intriguing. Gross. Despicable. Absolute filth.

"T-that's-! Oh!"

She covered her mouth at her sudden outburst. Though looks were earned, they continued their own business.

The man was smirking, the woman was embarrassed by her outburst and the situation.

Both failed to notice the one sitting near them getting up.

"That's different. No one was around at that picnic and you know it."

"I see, I see. However, you're not outright denying my proposal here. Am I wrong?"

"Uh, oh, I'm... Ugh, you're not very fair, you know?"

She's waiting for him for a push, filthy woman, I've had enough.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry for the interruption, really, but you two aren't planning anything nefarious, are you?"

The woman's face become a scarlet red, while the man looked a bit surprised before putting on a somewhat normal face.

"W-what? No! No, we were just... Ahem, I'm sorry, sir, but it's none of your business."

"Hm... I see. Well, if nothing else."

The man looked relieved for a second.

The next second, his head was flying out.

The woman barely registered what happened before her vision become dark.

"..."

There lay a hole in the middle of the woman's head, in the centre of her face.

"I don't believe a woman's ever acted this way for me. What a grave sin, you went and got a woman like this before ME of all people? Wait your turn, you fucked up man-whore!"

He repeatedly stomped the man's body into mush, alerting everyone around him.

Everyone, men, women, and children started to run away, screaming in fear and panic at the display of the sudden violence.

Some knights helped out the children that tripped and some knights went to escort groups.

Other knights started surrounding the man.

"Halt, surrender yourself or face death!"

The man looked around his surroundings, seeing the once peaceful area sent into a chaotic situation.

"Hm. Tell me, filthy knight, are you married?"

"Now why the hell woul-"

The knight's head exploded.

"W-what the-?"

"You. Are you married?"

"What the fu-"

The knight's head exploded.

"You. Are you married?"

"N-no!"

"Good. You. Are you married?"

"Y...Yes."

"...Have you slept with your wife yet?"

"Uh... Yes, we have two ch-children."

"Simply wonderful. You. Are you married?"

"I..."

Before the knight could answer, another knight ran in to cut the man down.

His head was cut clean off.

"Y...Yes! I did it!"

The knight raised his sword into the air.

His head too, flew into the air.

"If one is to harm another, it'd only be fair to harm them back, would it not?"

The decapitated man spoke, head facing the knights from the ground.

"W-w-what... Th-the fuck?!"

The man's body got up to the ground and dusted itself off before turning toward his head.

He picked up the head and placed it on the body's neck.

The man was whole again.

"So in that respect, he cuts my head off, I cut off his. Not that I actively did it, it was only a fair passive reaction."

The knights were stuck between fighting back or running away.

"So, back to where we were... You. Are you married?"

Before the knight could answer, someone came running into the area, panting, clearly out of breath.

The man looked toward the newcomer, staring into the newcomer's eyes before looking at his appearance.

He wore some odd clothing, a black and white jacket with some symbol on his left chest. His hair was also weird, being slicked back and black, somewhat of a rare colour the man mused.

The final oddity was what he had to say at the sight.

"So, this is the beginning of the headless city slaughter. Morbid name, I know, but it fits."

"And just who the hell are you? You know what? No, fuck this. Die."

The man swiped his hand toward the boy, expecting his head to come clean off.

It didn't.

"What?"

"Surprised? Well, I kinda have a knack of not dying, which is kinda ironic."

The man was suddenly in front of the boy.

"Fuck you, die."

He threw his fist toward the boy to punch his skull into bits.

The boy had different plans.

"Shamac."

The man lost his senses.

"What? What is this? WHY CAN'T I-?!"

He regained them and looked around.

Everyone was running away.

"Fuck this, everyone can die."

He stomped the ground as hard as he could.

The city and the surrounding areas for miles were destroyed in an instant.
