Jaden rustled on the ground, left and right as he couldn't sleep right, but who could after what he went through?

It was the worst time of his life. He heard the news that Jesse was most likely dead, making him full of rage as his eyes turned amber and he went through a phase of his life that he would never remember, the time when he was the Supreme King.

He hurt so many people.

He didn't just hurt them, he killed them.

He hurt his friends, especially Jim and Axel who tried to help him defeat him and it was awful.

Forced to see his friends in pain, unable to do anything.

It made him feel awful.

Like he was the worst human being ever.

He sat up right and looked around. He saw Sy and Zane on his right sleeping and then to his left Aster looking on guard who was almost falling asleep.

He looked down at the ground and he could feel the tears coming from his eyes as he choked on his words, "I am…horrible." he said as he covered his face with his hands, but failed as he could easily see the tears coming down.

Jaden just felt horrible. He felt sick of what he did almost to the point that he nearly threw up.

Jaden was disgusted at what he did. Jaden is disgusted with…himself.

Aster heard someone crying as he turned around to see Jaden awake and crying. He stood up as he walked towards, "Hey, Jaden, why are you crying?" asked Aster as Jaden looked at him.

"Oh i-it's nothing." Jaden turned around as he didn't want to bother him.

"Don't tell me that! That was not nothing!" Aster said as he looked at him as he then looked at how Jaden looked like the entire, as he changed his tone, "Jaden, I want to know. What is bothering you? Why are you crying?"

Jaden hestited, how could he say this? Will he say this?

Will he just think that he was crazy for this?

Will he not care about it?

He sighed, it is better that he tried, "I just feel awful." Aster looked at him, "I feel like a horrible person, Aster. I hurt so many people. I hurt my friends. I hurt the people that tried to save me when I was the Supreme King. I didn't want to hurt people, Aster. I never did, but I just couldn't stop!" he looked at Aster with tears in his eyes.

"I felt like the scum of the Earth! Trying to hurt everyone around me without even a second thought! Harming and killing innocent people that never deserved it!" he yelled as he looked at the ground, "I am awful. I am a horrible person. Just a terrible person, nothing more or less." he said as he choked a sob.

"Jaden." Aster said with a sad tone, "You are wrong." he sat next to him as Jaden looked at him with a confused look on his face.

"But I-"

"But I nothing, Jaden." Aster said as he looked at him, "You are far from the worst person ever, you aren't awful, you are the most selfless person that I know. Heck, this is the main reason why we are in this stupid dimension, aren't we?"

"But I hurt so many people!"

"Did you mean it?" asked Aster as Jaden was confused.

"Huh?"

"Did you mean to hurt them, Jaden?" asked Aster again like it was the most simple question.

Jaden looked at the ground, "No I-I didn't." he said as Aster smiled at him.

"There. That is the proof that you aren't a bad person. What The Supreme King did, was not you, he was the furthest thing from you." Aster said as he placed a hand on Jaden's shoulder. "He wasn't someone like you who would help someone by the drop of a hat. He wasn't someone that would cheer anyone up like you. He wasn't someone that could redeem, trust or care about someone who did something bad. That was all you."

Jaden slowly smiled at the words from his friend.

"You are a great person, the best person that I have ever met and anyone that has met you are glad that they met you." he said as Jaden looked at him.

"Thanks Aster, that really meant alot to me." said Jaden as Aster smiled at his friend.

"Anytime, Jaden." he said as Jaden was quiet for a few seconds.

"Hey, Aster…"

"Yeah?"

"Can you hug me?" he asked as Aster widened his eyes, but slowly lowered them and smiled at him.

"Sure thing, man." said Aster as he wrapped his arms around Jaden as he placed his head on Aster's shoulder.

It was safe.
