The year was 1993, it was a dark and stormy night at the Bodega Bay Inn. The raindrops are falling to the ground fast and the thunder roars in the sky. The Bodega Bay Inn hotel was left abandoned because of the rumors that were happening in the hotel, not to mention an incident with one of the clients. No one ever came to this place until tonight. A white van drove by and it drove to Bodega Bay Inn. The van parks in front of the hotel and someone opens the van door. Four criminals come out of the van, wearing animal masks. The first criminal has a dog mask, the second criminal has a bird mask, the third criminal has a bear mask and the final criminal has a rabbit mask. They looked at the hotel. "Whoa. just look at that beauty." said the bird masked criminal. "I remember when I had a vacation here. It was pretty relaxing." The other masked criminals looked at the bird masked criminal. "Well, too bad those glory days are over." said the dog masked criminal. "We're here to find the chest withs lots of money in it and that's it. We don't need any of your fucking stories." "Alright, geez. You don't have to be so negative." said the bird masked criminal. The four masked criminals start walking to the hotel. The dog mask tries to open the door but it's locked, he looks down and sees a mat. He flips the mat over but he doesn't see a key under it. "Damn." cursed the dog masked criminal. The rabbit mask criminal pulls out a crowbar, he walks to one of the windows and breaks it open. The four masked criminals climb through the window and get into the hotel. They looked around the hotel, all the furniture was covered in white sheets and the spider webs on the corners, under the tables and even inside a fireplace. The bear masked criminal puts a finger on a stool and wipes some of the dust off. "Hmph. Looks like this place has closed down for a long time." Said the bear masked. The dog masked criminal sees a light switch and flicks it. One of the lights turns on. "Well I'll be damned. This place still has power." Said the bird masked criminal. "Let's just split up. Birdie, you check the ballroom, Grizzly and Bunny, you two check the kitchen. I'll just go to the elevator to check one of the hotel rooms." Said the dog masked criminal. The four masked criminals split up and walked to their separate ways. But they did not notice that something was hiding, and watching them split up. The bird masked criminal walked to the ballroom, the bear and rabbit masked criminals walked into the kitchen, and the dog masked criminal walked to the elevator. He pushed the up button and the elevator started going down. Something is hiding behind a plant on a pot and looking at the dog masked criminal. Something gave him a little snarl and somehow he heard it. The dog masked criminal looks around but he sees no one. The elevator opens its door and the dog masked criminal walks in. so he pushed the level one button, the elevator closed its door and went up.
The bird masked criminal walks into the lounge. He started to look around. He walked to a table and he started checking by looking under it. He checked under the table and saw nothing. Then he checked the chairs and looked everywhere. As the bird masked criminal is checking the lounge, a sound of a little pitter patter can be heard out of the ballroom. The bird masked criminal hears the pitter patter and looks around. He kept looking then thought to himself that he must be hearing things, so he continued checking the ballroom. He walked to the piano and looked under it, but as he kept checking, something ran past him. The bird masked criminal once again hears the sound of the pitter patter and looks behind him. "Hello?" said the bird masked criminal, checking if there's anyone in the lounge. He looked around the lounge and got a bit freaked out. He walks out of the lounge and walks to the lobby while looking around for the chest. Then he heard a door slam that made him jump. He looked to the right and walked down the hall. He sees a hotel room, alone in the hall, so the bird masked criminal walks to it, grabs the doorknob and opens the door. As the bird masked criminal opens the door, he sees that the hotel room is old, dirty, scrunchy and there's cockroaches everywhere. He gagged at first. "What a shit hole!" yelled the bird masked criminal. He walked in and started looking for the chest. He walked to the bed, got on his knees and looked under the bed. "Hmmmm." exclaimed the bird masked criminal. He kept looking under the bed, looking for the chest, but no luck. He gets up and then something appears that caught his eyes. He gasped as he saw a living jester puppet named Jester. Jester is sitting on the bed and mumbles. The bird masked criminal was shocked when he saw Jester, right in front of him. He started to smile. "No way." said the bird masked criminal as he chuckles like a bit. Jester is looking at the bird masked criminal as he mumbles and moves like a wind-up toy. The bird masked criminal was stunned to see Jester, he reaches his hand and tries to touch him, but Jester slaps the hand. The bird masked criminal laughs a little bit and tries to touch Jester, casually annoying him. Something is sneaking to the bird masked criminal while he's distracted with Jester. Jester is slapping the bird masked criminal's hand and he just laughs. "Oh my god. What are you?" asked the bird masked criminal, laughing. As he's about to touch Jester one more time, the muscle puppet with a tiny head named Pinhead appears by jumping to his back and starts strangling him with his bare hands. The bird masked criminal is choking, he tries to get Pinhead off him or try to tackle him to the floor but he is too strong for a single human being. Pinhead keeps strangling the bird masked criminal while Jester starts laughing and clapping his hands. The bird masked criminal falls down to the floor while Pinhead keeps strangling and then, Pinhead snaps the bird masked criminal's neck like a twig, taking his life away. Pinhead groans and gets up. Jester mumbles and jumps off the bed. Pinhead grabs the bird masked criminal's hand and starts dragging it out of the room and Jester follows him. Then, they left the room, taking the body.
Meanwhile, the dog masked criminal is at level two as he checks the hotel rooms, one by one. Kicking open the doors, walking in the hotel rooms and finding the chest. Then, the bear masked criminal and the rabbit masked criminal are checking the pantry. The bear masked criminal checked the cabinets while the rabbit masked criminal checked inside the boxes. "See anything?" asked the bear masked criminal. "No, we can't find shit in here?" said the rabbit masked criminal. The rabbit masked criminal pulls out a walkie talkie and starts talking to it. "Hey boss, have you found the money yet?" asked the rabbit masked criminal. It cuts to the dog masked criminal in a hotel room. "No. no yet." said the dog masked criminal, talking to a walkie talkie. He grabbed a pillow with a dirty stain and threw it at a wall. "This hotel is shit, I'll tell you that." it cuts back to the bear masked criminal and the rabbit masked criminal in the pantry. "Well, we did look in the pantry, but no luck." said the rabbit masked criminal. "Well, go find the money somewhere else, like the ballroom or something." said the dog masked criminal on the walkie talkie. "On it, boss." said the rabbit masked mask. He walked to the door and opened it. "Come on, Beary. It's not here." said the rabbit masked criminal. The bear masked criminal looked at the rabbit masked criminal. "Ok."responded the bear masked criminal. So, the two masked criminals walked out of the pantry. Pinhead and Jester are hiding behind a vase with a dead plant inside and covered with cobwebs, as they look at the two masked criminals walking down the lobby. Pinhead growls, making his big bare hands turn into fists while Jester spinned the three pieces of his head and stopped, only making a spooky hiss sound.
The two masked criminals are walking down the lobby, then the rabbit masked criminal has something popped in his mind and turns his head to the bear masked criminal. "Hey, have you ever heard of rumors happening at this very hotel?" asked the rabbit masked criminal. The bear masked criminal turned his head to the rabbit masked criminal and got confused. "Uhhhh, no. I haven't." answered the bear masked criminal. "Well back in like 1940 to 1976. There were some complaints. Complaints about hearing pitter patter noises down the hallways, something crawling in the vents and some shadows lurking in the halls." said the rabbit masked criminal. "Maybe those were rats." said the bear masked criminal. "Yeah, apparently one man in this hotel just witnessed a tiny figure running down the hall. Well, three guys." said the rabbit masked criminal and the bear masked criminal got extremely confused. They walked down to the ballroom, but they did not notice that something was hiding behind a vase the criminals walked past. The two masked criminals are now in the ballroom and they started looking around. "So, what happened to those people?" asked the bear masked criminal as he looked under the table.
Well, one of the employees said that those three people had gone mental and tried to burn the place down and one of them killed one of the employees by pushing him down the stairs." said the rabbit masked criminal. "Oh fuck." said the bear masked criminal, getting a bit disturbed. "Those three people were college students who dropped out of college for taking too much weed," said the rabbit masked criminal. "Oh damn, then what happened?" asked the bear masked criminal. "Well, those three college students got arrested and got sentence in a mental captivity for a long time." said the rabbit masked criminal. "Oh. And where did you know this kind of information?" asked the bear masked criminal. "TV." answered the rabbit masked criminal. "oh." exclaimed the bear masked criminal. The bear masked criminal and the rabbit masked criminal kept looking around the ballroom. "You know, I think the rumors started when Andre Toulon killed himself inside his hotel room." said the masked criminal. "Andre Toulon?" asked the bear masked criminal. As they kept walking down the hall, they heard a glass shatter from a distance. They looked behind themselves and looked down the hall. "What was that?" asked the bear masked criminal. "I don't know." answered the rabbit masked criminal. The two masked criminals start walking out of the ballroom.
The two masked criminals walked into the lobby and started to look what caused the noise. They looked down and saw a vase on the floor, shattered into pieces. "What the hell?" said the rabbit masked criminal. "What caused that?" asked the bear masked criminal. A door started to open slowly with a creaking noise, and it caught the two masked criminals' attention. As they turned their heads behind their backs, they witnessed something that made them feel two feelings, confused and surprised. They saw a cowboy puppet with six arms named Six Shooter, as he walked out of the janitor's room door like a menacing cowboy on a draw. "He he he he he." Six Shooter chuckled sinisterly. The two masked criminals kept looking at Six Shooter with shocked and confused expressions mixed together on their faces. "What the hell is that?" asked the bear masked criminal. "I don't know. I think the weed is acting up again." said the rabbit masked criminal. Six Shooter pulls out six pistols and shoots the rabbit masked criminal in the head. The head of the rabbit masked criminal exploded with junks of blood, getting all over the corners, floor and the mask of the bear masked criminal. The bear masked criminal became petrified. "Oh my god!!" yelled the bear masked criminal. The body of the rabbit masked criminal falls over to the floor with blood spraying from the neck. Six Shooter chuckled and he started shooting. The bear masked criminal flees in terror. He starts running down the hall while Six Shooter is firing his pistols, trying to hit him. "Oh fuck! Oh fuck!" yelled the bear masked criminal. He pulled out a walkie talkie and started talking to it. "Boss! We have to leave right now! Rabbit boy is dead! We need-" as he tries to finish, the bear masked criminal trips on something which causes him to slip the walkie talkie from his hand and falls to the floor. The walkie talkie tumbled down to the floor hard and it broke into pieces. "What the fuck?!" yelled the bear masked criminal. He looked behind himself, and what he saw it's the dead bird masked criminal with his head open and his brain missing. The bear masked criminal screamed in terror, seeing one of his crew members lying on the floor, all dead. He got up and continued running, he ran into the lobby where Pinhead is on top of a chandelier, waiting for him. Pinhead jumped, he fell towards the bear masked criminal and started attacking him by choking him by the neck. The bear masked criminal tried to break himself free from Pinhead's mighty strength. Something else appeared, a soldier puppet wearing a blue uniform with a drill on top of his head named Tunneler appeared behind the masked criminal. His drill started spinning, he lowered down and started drilling on the bear masked criminal's leg. The bear masked criminal screamed in pain when Tunneler drills on his leg, which makes him tumble to the floor. Pinhead got off the bear masked criminal fast. The bear masked criminal encounters Tunneler with blood on his drill. "Holy fuck! There's more!" yelled the bear masked criminal. The bear masked criminal attempted to crawl away from the two puppets who attacked him. Pinhead and Tunneler started slowly walking towards the bear masked criminal with Jester and Six Shooter appearing on the scene. Jester is holding a kitchen knife and Six Shooter is holding his six pistols. The bear masked criminal kept crawling away with pure horror taking over his whole body. Tunneler starts charging towards him with his drill spinning. But the bear masked criminal kicks Tunneler, sending him flying to mid air and crashes to a mirror, causing it to shatter. The three pieces of Jester's face turns into a sad expression, Pinhead and Six Shooter growling at the bear masked criminal for injuring one of their comrades. The bear masked criminal sees a closet door and starts crawling rapidly towards it. He managed to get to the door, as he grabbed the doorknob and turned it. But when the bear masked criminal is about to get in the closet, he spotted another puppet named Torch. Torch started glowing red eyes straight at the bear masked criminal, he pointed his right arm at him and started shooting fire like a flamethrower. The bear masked criminal is now burning in flames with him screaming in a blood curling manner. The other puppets watch the bear masked criminal burn alive, Torch chuckles evilly with glowing eyes. They watch him burn to death.
Meanwhile, the dog masked criminal is in a hotel room, still looking for the chest of money. He checked the closet, the bathtub, and under the bed. But he didn't find the chest.The dog masked criminal got frustrated. "I knew it. Nothing." said the dog masked criminal. The masked dog walks out of the hotel room and walks down the hall. He kept walking down, going to the elevator. That is until some tiny footsteps running down can be heard, which caught attention. "What the hell?" said the dog masked criminal. The dog masked criminal looks around the hall, looking for what caused the sound. He has a gun on his left hand, pointing his thumb on the trigger. He kept looking around and he saw no one. So, he put down the gun and continued walking away. He walked to the elevator and pushed the down button. The elevator opens the door and lets the dog masked criminal get in. The dog masked criminal pushes the main entry room and the elevator closes the doors and starts going down. He pulled out a walkie talkie and started talking to it. "It's not here. The chest of money is not in this disgusting stench. Birdie, get the van ready, we're leaving." said the dog masked criminal to the walkie talkie. As he stopped talking to the walkie talkie, he waited for a response. But, no one answered. The dog masked criminal looks at the walkie talkie and talks to it again. "Birdie, can you hear me?" asked the dog masked criminal to the walkie talkie. He waited for the response from the bird masked criminal, but all he can hear is static from the walkie talkie. "Hey, fuckwit!" yelled the dog masked criminal to the walkie talkie. Once again, no response. The elevator arrives at the main room and opens the doors. The dog masked criminal walked out of the elevator, and he held out a frustrated sigh. "Where the fuck are those guys?" asked the dog masked criminal. The dog masked criminal started to walk around, he spotted the lobby and started walking. "Hey!" yelled the dog masked criminal, walking towards the lobby. He entered the lobby and checked if the other masked criminals were there, but there wasn't anyone inside. Someone grabbed him by the legs and tackled him. The dog masked criminal yelled and fell down to the floor. He looked behind himself and encountered Pinhead holding his legs and started dragging him away. "Hey! What the fuck?!" yelled the dog masked criminal. He attempted to break his legs free but it doesn't work due to the fact that Pinhead is stronger than a 100lb dumbbell. Pinhead growled, soon after he lifted the dog masked criminal up and slammed him to the floor. The dog masked criminal crashes down and he screams in pain. Pinhead runs to the dog masked criminal and grabs him by the head, holding him down. The dog masked criminal was about to grab his gun but Jester appeared, stabbed him in the head with a small specter. He screamed in pain while Jester clapped his hands and giggled like a little boy. Tunneler, Torch and Six Shooter also appear, as they grab the masked criminal's arms and legs, and hold them tight. The dog masked criminal looks at the other puppets holding him. "Let me go, you stupid dolls! I don't care if you're possessed, you don't scare me!!" yelled the dog masked criminal. As the puppet kept holding him hostage, something appears in the shadows and walks to the dog masked criminal. The dog masked criminal sees something and it's the leader of the puppets wearing a black coat, hat, spikes behind the darkened eye sockets and knife and a hook for hands named Blade. Blade looks at the dog masked criminal and growls sinisterly. He started walking towards him while the dog masked criminal tried to break himself free. Pinhead pins his head against the floor, Jester pulls out the specter from the masked criminal's hand. Torch glows red eyes and growls and Six Shooter chuckles. As the dog masked criminal kept trying to break himself free from the puppets, he felt something. Fear. When the puppets got him hostage with no way out, fear had conquered his entire body. It made the dog masked criminal pant in fear while Blade jumped and got on top of him. "Whoa whoa! Let's not do anything crazy!" yelled the dog masked criminal. Blade looks at the dog masked criminal with darkened eye holes. "I'm sorry for breaking in! I'll leave, please let me go!" begged the dog masked criminal. Blade just kept looking at him. The dog masked criminal looks at Blade. "What are you gonna do?" asked the dog masked criminal. Blade lifts his knife hand which scares the dog masked criminal. "Holy Fuck! NOOOOO!" yelled the dog masked criminal. Blade slashes the dog masked criminal in the neck with his knife hand and slits it open. The dog masked criminal wheezes and starts spraying blood from the neck. The spikes pop out of Blade's sockets and he hiss like a vampire. Jester giggles happily, Tunneler grunted proudly and Six Shooter chuckles. The dog masked criminal kept spraying blood until there was nothing left. When the masked criminal bled to death, Blade lifts up his blood knife hand and makes a ghostly hiss. Blade comes down off the dog masked criminal's dead body and the other puppets start dragging the body away. As they pulled the body away, they walked into the shadows of the hallway and Blade was the last one to step into the darkness.
