E- just pulled the highest scorers for this one. Digitized copy of intern notes. GG
D1: FIROZA: Demonstrated mastery of the nsapo, a pre-Panem ceremonial ax. Will likely be able to easily adjust to other types of axes in the arena. Powerful performance, exciting to watch. Took on three trainers at once, each confronting her with a different weapon, and defeated them without much difficulty. 10.
D1: AKIYAMA: Demonstrated mastery of throwing stars alongside an impressive level of acrobatics. Was able to hit targets with extreme mastery, including while moving. The ability to cause that level of damage with such a small weapon is impressive. Will need to make sure the Cornucopia is stocked with these. 10.
D2: VORTIGERN: Clearly the physically strongest tribute present. Completed an impressive weightlifting session and went on to demonstrate her abilities with a mace, also proving endurance. Clearly confident in her abilities. 11.
D2: AUGUR: Not quite as strong as his district partner. Very good showing with a longsword. Defeated one trainer, then sparred with a second trainer separately and defeated that one as well. Seemed a bit nervous, was not very audience-oriented. 9.
D3: GOODALL: Was the only tribute who opted to show sprinting. Extremely fast, both among her own age group and the 17/18-year-olds. Also has impressive endurance for her age. Other tributes will likely have a difficult time catching her, trained tributes included. 7.
D4: DENIZ: Extremely nervous, and it interfered with her spear demonstration. Still very good, but clearly shaky, and she was almost defeated by the trainer she sparred with. Also did a swimming exercise, which was unsurprisingly excellent. However, that skill will not be useful this year. 7.
D4: PIKE: Very confident. Knew how to play to his audience. Very good shortbow demonstration, although it did not quite reach the level we expected. Will likely be an audience favorite, but does not quite reach the level of technical skill desired. 9.
D5: K'AWIIL: Seems to be relatively new to the shortsword he was using, but clearly has a lot of potential. The weapon appears to suit him, and his form was good. Paid attention to detail. Also did fairly well on the fire-building attempt. 7.
D7: CARRASCO: Very, very strong climber. Also did well with hand-to-hand combat demonstration and managed to defeat a trainer as part of demonstration. Has a lot of upper-body strength and is able to think quickly and decisively. 8.
D10: SOLVEIG: Very strong showing with long-bladed knives. Clearly very comfortable with that type of weapon- did not only start training with them in the Capitol. According to Jacin, seems to be occupational. Very good underdog candidate. 8.
