Second chapter of 'Sage' is ready, however, before continuing, let's answer some comments.
Sammy-1000: Thanks for the comment. About my RWBY story, I honestly can't tell you a date for the next update, I was a bit put off by it, but I should continue it in the future when my other stories are well underway.
Riotpump: I share the opinion that stories that have some kind of harem involved should not be too long, as it is extremely difficult to make something that makes sense. And honestly, I don't know if there's going to be any harem at the end of this story, and if there is, it's going to be extremely limited.
Yasmin Nogueira: I will approach the Aura as something important in the story, it's something I use a lot in other stories, and this one in particular will play an important role.
Having responded to the comments, enjoy the second chapter of 'Sage'.
NOTE: I will use the Spanish name of Altaria da Lísia, as it makes it easier for me to translate the original material for this story.
"The answer to true strength lies in the gratitude of being able to live each day, the strength to seek happiness is unstoppable." – A man who sought peace.
Ash was uncomfortable having to deal with this unknown woman staring at him as if he had done something wrong. Why does he only attract the weirdest people?
For a moment he felt homesick for the top of the MT. Silver.
Ignorant of a poor man's daydreams, Lisia took a deep breath, calmed down and walked towards Ash. When she stood before him, she extended her hand in a friendly signal. "Hi, my name is Lisia. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm nosy, but what were you doing? It was so beautiful, if you could teach me, I would definitely perform even better in pokemon contests!" Lisia's eyes lit up just thinking about replicating what she had just witnessed.
Ash, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow at Lysia's idea. Apparently she's a coordinator, which is a twist of fate, as he's met quite a few coordinators along his journey, having acted as a mentor to two of her best friends.
Remembering May and Dawn made Ash sad. Memories of his past adventures were a reminder of all he missed, but it wouldn't be fair to act rudely to Lysia, she just asked a question, it wouldn't hurt to answer it.
"Look...uh...Lísia, my name is Ash, it's a pleasure to meet you, but I'm afraid I can't easily teach you what I was doing, I trained for most of my life to be able to handle my hand perfectly. aura, and not all people have this gift." That name... Lisia could have sworn she'd heard it sometime in the past, but that didn't matter. Lisia puffed out her cheeks jealously, she wanted to make those cute moves with the blue light around her body, it would be a perfect match for her dear Ariblu.
A brilliant thought, at least in Lisia's personal opinion, came up. It's time to use your most lethal weapons...feminine charm!
Lisia hugged one of Ash's arms and started blinking suggestively. "Come on 'Ashy'…won't you help a pretty girl in her time of need?" For the record, the vast majority of men would at least feel slightly embarrassed by such an aggressive approach, unfortunately for Lisia, Ash is not just any man.
He's the hardest head in the world when it comes to women.
Without hesitation, Ash disentangled himself from the green-haired woman. "I'm sorry, I can't help you." Lísia fell to her knees on the ground, as if her soul had left her body. Her pride as a woman was trampled and pulverized, Ash didn't even flinch in a move that never failed with another male.
Disappointment turned to anger. Lisia stood up and pointed an angry finger at Ash. "Listen, you pretty-faced idiot, nobody ignores Lisia Mekuri and gets away with it! Ariblu, let's teach this fool a lesson!" From her waist, she grabbed a Poké Ball and threw it into the air, releasing an Altaria into the air. The Fly/Dragon type pokémon positioned itself in front of its confused trainer, where was the pokémon he was going to face?
Under normal circumstances, Lysia would never dare use her dear Ariblu to hurt someone defenseless, but her mind was clouded by anger, and mostly shame at having failed miserably in trying to seduce Ash. Not getting something she wanted was new, and honestly, it didn't feel good.
"Ariblu, use Dragon Breath on him at full power!" Ariblu was shocked by the order, but still obeyed the order. The powerful Dragon/Type attack fired towards Ash at high speed, and it was only after ordering the attack that Lisia realized what she had done.
Horrified, she could only watch what would be the end of the man she just met, or so she thought. A shroud of aura enveloped Ash, and the blue eyes glowed with an electric hue. Ash began to rotate his hands, and Lysia could have sworn she saw afterimages of the hands appearing in the movement, and as Ash brought both hands together, an orb of aura began to rotate so fast that a small vortex of wind began to swirl around it. of the sphere.
Ash's hands opened, and the sphere changed shape, becoming a barrier that deflected Dragon Breath towards the sky. It was all too much for Lísia, who fell on her butt to the ground with her mouth open.
What she just witnessed was something that only seemed possible in movies or books, but here was a man who had just defended himself against one of the most powerful attacks a pokémon can learn, without any help.
Her reverie was interrupted by the sound of footsteps, and slowly Lisia looked in the direction of the sound, seeing an outstretched hand. Slowly she looked up and saw Ash smiling in a friendly way. "Come on, take my hand, I'll help you up."
Still at a loss for words, Lisia accepted the help, and Ash gently lifted her to her feet. He learned from the mistake he made in helping Zinnia, and he didn't pull her like a tree trunk to the ground.
After helping her, Ash started to laugh and approached Ariblu, who was as surprised as his trainer, so Ash started scratching the pokémon's head, who appreciated the friendly gesture. "That attack was impressive, Lísia certainly trained you well, if I were still a trainer, I would certainly challenge you to a battle." Ariblu made happy sounds, while Lysia was again surprised by the resentment-free attitude.
She literally tried to attack him with a potentially lethal move, out of sheer recklessness, and instead of him getting angry, here was Ash praising her and her Pokemon.
"Why..." Lisia caught Ash's attention with the question.
He turned to the woman. "Did you say something?"
Lisia crossed her arms and looked at the floor with embarrassment. "Why aren't you angry? I could have seriously hurt you for no reason." Ash blinked a few times, and then started laughing again. Without thinking about her actions, he placed his hand on Lisia's head and started stroking her as if she were a small child.
The height difference between the two helped with that.
"Come on, it was just a tantrum. Lísia, I'm not going to get angry because I know that you are not a person who acts with evil, I just met you, but I know that you are a woman with a good heart. Everyone is subject to succumbing to anger sometimes, the important thing is to learn from mistakes and move on. Look, if you're still down, why don't we start the introductions again? My name is Ash, nice to meet you." Ash took his hand off her head and reached out again with a goofy smile on his face. Lisia realized at that moment that Ash is a unique person, no one but him would act normally after what just happened.
And for some reason, his presence gives off a sense of peace she can't remember ever feeling in her life.
In the middle of the moonlit clearing, she made a decision.
The coordinator accepted the greeting and held Ash's hand excitedly. "OK! I'm Lísia Mekuri, Top Coordinator and Idol from Hoenn. But at least until the end of this week, I'll keep you company, pretty boy." Lisia finished speaking in a playful tone, blinking her eyebrows and sticking out her tongue.
Ash, on the other hand, blushed slightly with embarrassment. It wasn't common for him to receive compliments from a beautiful woman, he knows he's dense, but he's not a complete idiot.
Many things happened on that day, he died, he was reborn, he met a village that treats him like a deity, and now a Top Coordinator decided to follow him for no apparent reason.
In your experience, on that kind of day the only thing to do is let things happen naturally.
He scratched his cheek with his finger and shrugged. "Okay, I'll take you to Meteor Village, I just ask that you don't mind if any of the villagers act weird towards me…let's just say they have A LOT of admiration for me." Lisia tilted her face in doubt.
"What do you mean Ashy?" Ash groaned in dismay at the nickname.
"You'll see when we reach the village, and please don't call me 'Ashy." Lisia clapped a hand over her mouth and began to do her best version of an evil laugh.
"Oh…and what are you going to do to stop me…Ashy?" The victim of the taunt slammed his palm to his forehead.
Why did he have to meet the female version of Gary?
Kicking a pebble in dismay, Ash started walking toward the village, with Lisia following.
This village in the middle of a rocky terrain surrounded by dense forest might seem like a boring place to anyone visiting during the day, but the lanterns along with the decorations on the houses gave a totally unique look to Meteor Village at night. Lísia was impressed with the beautiful view that greeted her at the entrance to the village, but what happened next left her very confused.
The moment Ash set foot inside the village, all the villagers present near the entrance knelt down as a sign of respect.
"Sora no Senshi!" everyone screamed at the same time. A comical bead of sweat broke out on the back of Ash's neck, and Lysia looked at the villagers, then at Ash who looked away, starting to whistle.
A ridiculous attempt to avoid the obligation to explain.
Tugging on one of the sleeves of the white-haired man's tunic, Lisia whispered. "Ashy…why are all these people kneeling? I got some privileged treatment, but none of my fans did anything that over the top."
Ash groaned in dismay and took a few steps forward until he was in front of the kneeling people. Trying to convince them to stop this devotion seems like a losing battle, the least he can do is try to dissuade this ridiculous idea little by little. "Get up, I brought a guest with me, hope you don't mind.
The villagers stood up, and looked at Lysia in awe. The Hoenn Idol puffed out her chest expecting praise, but what she received was something unexpected.
"Sora no Senshi brought a guest!"
"We need to tell grandma"
"Sora no Senshi is so generous, he treats us as equals and doesn't abuse his authority."
The comments were all about this 'Sora no Senshi', and Lisia didn't have to think long to realize that they didn't have the slightest idea who she was. It was a surprisingly refreshing feeling, she can't remember the last time she was able to attend a public place without any kind of special treatment for her fame, or her family's fame.
Instead, the one being treated like a celebrity is Ash, and that made her even more intrigued.
"Ash, why are they calling you Sora no Senshi?" Lisia asked her companion, but the answer did not come from him, but from a new voice, which Ash knows very well.
Zinnia approached, accompanied by Astrid, the Draconid elder, drawn by the commotion at the village gates, but when she saw the source of the commotion, she quickened her steps, trying to avoid blushing with embarrassment at what had happened earlier in the day.
Standing in front of Ash, Astrid bowed her head slightly in a sign of respect, with Zinnia at her side avoiding looking directly at Ash, and at the same time staring at Lysia as if she was going to attack at any moment.
"Sora no Senshi, you brought us a guest. It is very rare for our people to receive visitors, we are isolated for many reasons, but if it was you who brought her, I will gladly accept her among us, may I know the name of the young woman beside you? My name is Astrid Draconid, Elder of Meteor Village." Astrid asked Ash and reached out to Lysia.
The green haired idol snapped out of her stupor and kindly greeted the nice lady, doing her best not to offend her. "My name is Lísia Mekuri, Ash invited me to accompany him, I hope I'm not a nuisance." Astrid smiled at the young woman beside Ash.
"Don't worry, young child, a guest of Sora no Senshi is a guest of all Draconid people, during your stay with us, we will treat you as an equal." Astrid's words were the limit for Zinnia, who for the first time in a long time showed blatant disagreement with the village elder.
With clear dislike for Lysia, Zinnia spoke to Astrid. "Grandfather! We can't let an outsider into our village, she dares to call the Sora no Senshi by name, she could harm any of us." Lisia was offended by this, and without being intimidated, she approached Zinnia and pointed her finger at her.
"Don't accuse me without knowing me girl! I'm not invading your village, Ashy invited me and this nice lady accepted me to stay in the village for a while." A vein popped on Zinnia's forehead.
"His name is not "Ashy", the man beside him is the Sora no Senshi, Ashura Draconid!" Now it was Ash's turn to be surprised.
Since when did he change his last name?
The thought of fixing Zinnia crossed his mind, but Ash wouldn't be so stupid as to do that, and frankly, it's a good opportunity to start a new stage in life. The Draconid people adopted him, why can't he adopt them as family?
Ash walked over to Zinnia and placed a hand on the Lorekeeper's shoulder. "Calm down, you don't need to be alert, I promise Lisia doesn't mean any harm, she found me when I was training and decided to accompany me for a while, I take responsibility for anything that happens. " Zinnia wanted to retort, but it would be disgraceful to the name of the Draconid people to refuse a guest who was accepted by the crone.
Reluctantly she nodded, but it wasn't going to be that easy for this outsider. Zinnia looked at Lysia and narrowed her eyes. "If the Sora no Senshi and our village elder accept your presence, I will grant your wishes, but I will keep an eye on you, outsider." Ash shook his head in dismay, these two women are going to be the source of his headaches for the next few days.
Waving her hand dismissively, Lisia responded in a provocative tone. "Whatever, as long as I'm with Ashy, I don't have any problems." Zinnia snarled in anger at the nickname again being mentioned, if Lisia caught wind of it, she covered it up pretty well. The coordinator's attention returned to Astrid.
"Everyone keeps calling Ashy 'Sora no Senshi', may I know why?" The question made everyone tense, including Astrid herself, who looked to Ash for approval. Ash nodded, and Astrid answered the question.
"Ashura Draconid, or as you call him, 'Ashy', is someone very important to our people, I cannot reveal all the information to an outsider, even if you are being received as a guest, you are not part of our family. What I can answer you is that Sora no Senshi is a title of the highest importance to our people, and perhaps one day you will be worthy to know why." Ash thanked heavens that Astrid didn't reveal everything to Lisia, it would be a huge headache trying to explain her bizarre part of life.
The whole mysterious tone in the explanation made Lisia curious, but she didn't want to seem like a nuisance, so she would accept that explanation, at least for now. Unexpectedly, she yawned, showing all the tiredness she felt. "I'm sorry, I'm so sleepy, is there somewhere for me to set up camp? I don't want to bother anyone else."
Astrid put a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Follow me, I have a spare room at my house you can use during your stay." Lisia smiled in thanks and started to follow the old woman, however, without her noticing, something happened that left Ash extremely surprised.
For just a second, a pulse of aura emanated from the coordinator, and he knows what that means. Lisia has the talent to be an aura manipulator.
"Lysia!" Ash shouted, getting her attention, and she stopped walking and looked back.
"What's up Ashy?"
With a serious expression, Ash spoke what he had decided. "Sleep well, because tomorrow morning we will start your training." This caught everyone off guard. Will Sora no Senshi train the outsider?
No one was more surprised than Lisia herself, she asked him to teach her those beautiful moves, and now Ash has changed his mind? Strange, but she won't complain. Jumping with joy, Lisia waved excitedly. "Thanks! I will not let Ashy down!" She ran to Astrid's house, barely containing her anxiety.
Amidst murmurs from the villagers, Zinnia felt out of place. She is the most skilled warrior in the village, yet Ash chose an outsider. With sadness and a little embarrassment, she started to walk away, but Ash's voice warned her.
"Zinnia?" She turned around, and was met with the goofy smile that was becoming Ash's trademark. Seeing that he had gotten her attention, Ash spoke. "Let's use the same training ground I found you today, I'll train you both as long as you want of course." He scratched the back of his head and Zinnia nodded, turning and walking with brisk steps towards her own house.
And surely no one saw the genuine smile on the Lorekeeper's face.
Ash shook his head with a low chuckle and went to his own cabin. He felt sadness emanating from Zinnia, and quickly realized that she was feeling left out. Frankly, women are hard to understand.
And so, the night in Meteor Village ended, and a new day would herald the beginning of a new stage in life for two women who had just met, along with an unlikely master in the form of a white-haired ex-trainer.
The next day, early in the morning, three people could be found at a training ground on the outskirts of the village. Lisia appeared with barely contained anxiety, and Zinnia was doing her best to appear unfazed by the other woman's carefree attitude, and if not for the Aster in her arms, a fight would likely have broken out.
Ash cracked his neck and clapped his hands once. "Okay, let's start with the basics. Lisia, I didn't have anyone to teach me anything about what I learned in my years of training, but I will do my best to help you. Yesterday, when you were going to sleep, I felt latent energy emanating from your body, but before we start, I want to ask you a question, do you know what an Aura is?" Lisia put a finger to her cheek, considering her answer, but Zinnia didn't give her a chance to respond.
"Aura is the energy of the soul, some scholars believe that the source of pokémon's power is the Aura they can manifest, but there are few humans who receive the gift of using life force as a type of power" The Lorekeeper finished speaking with a smug smile.
Annoyed at having missed the chance to respond, Lisia put her hands on her hips. "Ashy was talking to ME, nobody asked you!" Zinnia snorted, barely containing her amusement at pissing off the outsider.
Crossing her arms, the Draconid replied. "It's not my fault if you haven't read books, but it's understandable, it was my mistake to have any expectations from someone who came from the city and never interacted with nature."
A vein popped out of the coordinator's forehead. "That's a lie! I traveled around Hoenn before I was famous, it's not my fault I didn't know I could use this 'Aura'.
With a mocking smile, Zinnia drove the final nail into the coffin. "Idiot"
Lísia lost patience with the comment. "And that! I'll put you in your place, you rude girl!" The coordinator leaned her forehead against Zinnia's head.
"Do your worst, spoiled brat." Zinnia responded in kind.
Both women got into an argument while Ash watched with a pang of dismay.
How is he going to teach anything if his friends can't stay in one place for long?
"Girls..." Ash spoke calmly, but to no avail.
"...Zinnia, Lisia, please listen to me?" Ash spoke a little louder, but his words fell on deaf ears.
Aster jumped off her 'mother's lap and ran towards Ash in fear. Seeing the little pokémon with little tears in its eyes was the trigger for a normally hidden side of Ash to be released.
Anger.
Kneeling down, Ash placed a hand on Aster's head. "Don't be afraid, look, go to the village and play with Grandma Astrid, I'm sure she will give you some fruits that you love." When mentioning the fruits, the pokémon's eyes shone with joy, and with a surprising display of agility for a normally gangly pokémon, Aster disappeared among the vegetation, running towards the village.
After making sure the little pokemon was safe, Ash let his anger out. He started shaking with rage at the ridiculous scene he was witnessing, if words don't work, he will use other methods.
OST – Legend of Martial Artist
A pulse of aura emanated from Ash's body, and in the next moment, both women dropped to their knees on the ground, being pinned to the ground by an enormous pressure.
Both women with great difficulty raised their heads and when they saw the source of that strength, they cowered in fear.
For a true monster has risen before two mere mortals.
Ash's hair was blowing in the wind and his blue eyes took on an electric tint, that scene would be enough to scare anyone, but none of that mattered at the moment, he needs to put an end to this ridiculous rivalry, or his training won't be worth it.
"You two should be ashamed of yourself! Why do they keep fighting each other? Zinnia, nobody knows everything, remember, the real fool is not the one who doesn't know something, but the one who has the knowledge and uses it to belittle others. His people were generous to me, they treated me like family and welcomed me, and I thank them for that. So why all this attempt to offend Lysia? You've just met, I'm not a fool to ask that you both become friends right away, but at least respect each other!" Zinnia was extremely embarrassed, she hadn't been so harshly scolded since her training to take over her late master's post of Lorekeeper.
Lisia was happy with the scolding the other girl received, but when she looked at Ash, she saw something that made her feel ashamed.
Anger, but beyond that, disappointment.
"Lísia, I am not a fool, and I know that you, as well as Zinnia, are not bad people. Zinnia's constant teasing and dislike was unfair, but you also acted like a child. You told me when we first met that you were famous. I don't care what you are or what you've achieved, first of all, we are human, we make mistakes, but we also need to learn to forgive. The gift of manipulating the aura is both a blessing and a curse, for while it can help one to unite with nature, it can also manifest all the evil in an impure heart. If you can't forgive a single person you've just met, what happens when you meet someone you really have reason to hate? I will give you the tools to master your gift, but the path will be yours to decide, Lisia."
Ash stilled and the pressure disappeared, allowing both women to get to their feet. Such a display of power was both impressive and terrifying, but nothing overcame the shame they both felt at being so harshly scolded by the normally kind man.
Zinnia shyly looked at Lysia. "Look, I'm sorry, I don't know why I acted so rudely, can we just pretend nothing happened and start over?" Lisia was surprised to see that the Draconid was the first to apologize, but she immediately smiled and hugged the woman.
"Of course I forgive you. It was my fault too! I'm always up for making new friends." Lysia was hugging her tightly, and Zinnia blushed with embarrassment at the carefree attitude of her... uh... new friend, but she didn't try to pull away.
Ash nodded in approval as he saw that his scolding had worked. If Iris had seen him right now, she would have called both women children.
End of OST
After the harsh reprimand, Both Lísia and Zinnia put their differences aside and started to focus on the training given by Ash. While the Lorekeeper quickly adapted to the intense training regimen, Lysia suffered immensely in the early days as she never needed to train her own body.
When questioning Ash about the reason for the strenuous training, the former trainer again surprised his students with yet another demonstration of wisdom.
"The Aura is the vital energy that runs through our veins. Training serves to strengthen the body, and therefore strengthen the soul. The more you train, the easier it will be to handle the aura without major difficulties. As we are managing our own vital energy, it is extremely dangerous to do this without proper training. When I was young, I almost died from overuse of Aura, the training is hard but it will be beneficial."
As the days passed, Ash proved himself correct. Lisia wasn't even close to achieving any degree of mastery, but she progressed through the difficulty and this had an impact on her body, which gained an athletic look, and she became physically stronger, even if her muscles didn't seem to change much.
Zinnia was saddened to discover that she lacked the ability to wield the Aura, but she accepted the grueling training, further improving her already impressive fighting skills.
For the wild pokémon that passed by the training site, it was at least curious to see humans training so intensely, it is not common for humans to fight their own battles.
But with Ash's tutelage, both would be able to do that.
The days for Ash and his students passed quickly, and when they least expected it, Lysia's last day off arrived. It was a bittersweet feeling for the coordinator, as although she was happy with the progress she received in training, she was sad to have to go home.
Zinnia was a little sad to see her friend have to leave. The Lorekeeper's tough personality quickly fell apart when the coordinator managed to gain some degree of Draconid's appreciation. It was rare to find women her age that Zinnia could relate to, and it was even rarer to find someone willing to train as hard as she did.
At the same time that both women became friends, Ash gained a high degree of admiration from Zinnia and Lisia. A gentle friend, but one who had the character to scold when necessary. A thoughtful but also strict teacher, endangered qualities in the modern day.
At dawn the next day, Lisia stopped in front of the Meteor Village gates, with Ash, Astrid and Zinnia accompanying her. Lisia looked at the village and showed a small smile. "Well that's. I loved my time as a guest at Meteor Village, but I have to go home, my uncle will send half the Hoenn police to look for me if I take any longer, and knowing my rivals, they wouldn't be pleased to see me again. out of the next contest." Astrid took one of Lisia's hands and squeezed it in a friendly gesture.
"You will always be welcome among the Draconid people, Sora no Senshi took you in as a friend and adopted you as a student, and became a friend to my dear granddaughter. The road you will travel may contain dangers, but know that I will always pray for your safety." Lísia bowed her head in a respectful tone to the elderly woman who welcomed her during the week.
Lísia returned the gesture with a hug. "Thank you for receiving me so kindly, I promise I will visit you soon grandma." Astrid was mildly surprised to be called a grandmother, but she didn't scold the young foreign woman.
A grandmother never denies a new grandchild.
Zinnia took something from her pockets and handed it to Lisia, the coordinator took the item and saw that it was a small jade bracelet. Looking away from the girl, Zinnia tried to avoid anyone seeing her blushing in embarrassment. "As a parting gift, I made the bracelet by hand, so don't lose it when you get back, or I'll kick your ass!"
Ignoring the seemingly rude comment, Lisia brought Zinnia into a tight hug. "I loved it! I promise I will take good care of it, and I will use it in my competition presentations. When I get back, let's go to the mall together and have a girl's day!" Zinnia tilted her head in confusion.
"Girls day? Why do I have the feeling I'm going to regret this?" Lisia waved her hand dismissively.
Ash could hardly believe these were the same women who fought any chance they got the first day they met, as the saying goes, no medicine is more efficient than time. He held out his hand to Lysia with a proud smile.
"I enjoyed the time you stayed in the village, it's been a long time since I made a new friend and I hope you are successful in the contests you compete in. Remember to train whenever you have some free time, but be careful not to overdo it, and if you need help, don't hesitate to reach out to me." Lisia looked at the hand, and then at the face of the man, who in all honesty, had changed her life in less than 7 days.
Ashura Draconid, or as she likes to call it, 'Ashy', is a one of a kind man. Handsome, strong, kind, and wise during a few random moments. She had never met anyone who looked like him, and that just made her grateful that she had decided to accompany him when she met him for the first time.
Amidst the exhausting training, and the fun times lived inside Meteor Village, Lisia got to know better who Ashy really was, and when she saw that smile again, she was sure of what she really felt when she saw him for the first time in that clearing. lit by the moon.
She's no fool, and she knows that even in a twisted way, she's not the only woman with some interest in the white-haired man, but she wouldn't forgive herself if she didn't do something right now.
Lisia ignored Ash's hand, and hugged him. However, what could end with a simple friendly gesture ended with the green haired girl kissing Ash's cheek, making him blush with embarrassment.
Not knowing what to do, Ash can only stutter. "L…Lísia?" The coordinator winked and posed next to Ash with a camera.
"He used to smile!" She said sticking out her tongue, and took a picture next to Ash with her face still red. Without giving her a chance to be questioned, she started running towards Sootopilis, laughing at what she had just done.
Unfortunately for our protagonist, he would fall victim to the rage of a Lorekeeper who glared at him. "Z…Zinnia?"
Cracking her knuckles, the Draconid woman walked slowly towards Ash. "As a Lorekeeper it is my job to protect the Sora no Senshi's innocence, come Ash, let my hands remove impure thoughts from your mind!" Zinnia ran after Ash, trying to hit him, and Ash screamed like a little girl, running away from an angry woman.
Astrid shook her head, nothing is more fun than young love.
She can't wait for the moment when she becomes a Great-Grandmother.
A few weeks have passed since Lisia left Meteor Village, and after some time preparing, she competed in the Sootopolis contest, facing several coordinators, and reached the final battle. Her opponent was a coordinator of great reputation in Hoenn, and after an intense battle, the result of her effort finally arrived.
"And with Altaria's final attack, Lisia Mekuri knocks out Blaziken and wins the Sootopolis contest!" The narrator announced, making the audience vibrate with the great battle. Lísia waved excitedly to the audience, wearing her well-known performance outfit.
"Ariblu got stronger than ever, I see you trained hard on your vacation. Congratulations on the victory Lisia, but next time I will win." A woman with hair that extends to her neck, brown in color, tied by a green bandana and with two locks in the shape of a 'V' falling on the sides of her face. Sapphire eyes, a beautiful face with a body that showed the fact that she had grown into a beautiful woman. Wearing an orange sleeveless shirt that extends to the top of her thighs with white trim, white gloves, white shorts, and a pair of green sneakers with a matching fanny pack around her waist. This is May Maple, the 'Princess of Hoenn', and a great friend and rival of Lysia in recent years.
Not flinching at her rival's challenge, Lisia smiled confidently. "Bring your best, I'll be ready."
After the end of the award ceremony, Lísia went to the dressing room to change her clothes, and when she finished wearing her travel clothes, she found May accompanied by two other people outside the dressing room.
The first was a man with green hair and eyes the same color, wearing a long-sleeved black shirt with a purple jacket over it, cyan jeans and black sneakers. In his hands, he had a rose and he held it out to Lisia with a small smile. "Impressive presentation, I could not expect less from an elite Top Coordinator, here, please accept this rose as a sign of my admiration." A drop of sweat fell on the back of Lisia's neck, normally she would have accepted the rose, but this time it didn't feel right.
Not when she finally found someone worthy of a love interest.
Gently, she handed the rose back to Drew. "I'm sorry, but I can't accept it." That made Drew genuinely curious, but it was May who took the initiative, and took both of her friendly hands.
"I don't believe! Who's the guy you're interested in? Come on, tell me!" Lisia's face turned extremely red.
"M...May! Who says I'm interested in a guy?!" Upon seeing the defensive tone, it was the turn of another girl in the group to narrow her eyes.
Long blue hair with a white cap on her head, eyes of the same color and a beautiful face. Wearing a sleeveless black dress that ends in a pink skirt, and a small neckline with white accents, Dawn Hikari finished off her robe with a pink scarf, ankle boots in the same color, and a pair of black tights.
Not wanting to let her friend dodge the question, Dawn walked over and crossed her arms, not believing Lisia's denial for a second. "Why the response so defensive? Come on, we've known you for years, don't try to fool us!"
"Even you Dawn?" Lysia groaned in dismay, and Drew felt out of place. Dealing with her friends was an interesting experience to say the least, but no man feels comfortable when women start discussing a possible boyfriend.
Shaking his hair, his trademark move, Drew waved a hand and started to walk away, towards the pokémon center. "See you later, as much fun as it is to gossip about Lisia's boyfriend, I have better things to do." Lísia threw one of her sandals at him, but the attack ended in failure as it only hit the door.
With a pout, Lisia sat down in one of the chairs and crossed her arms. "Why the interest in my love life? It is my job to provoke you, not the other way around." May and Dawn sat next to their friend, with the Hoenn brunette sticking out her tongue.
"Consider it revenge, but seriously, who knew the infamous Lisia Mekuri would get a boyfriend, what will that rival of yours, Chaz, say when he finds out he missed his chance?" Lisia shuddered at the comment.
"Please May, never mention this again, Chaz is the last person on earth I would choose as a boyfriend." Even Dawn, who was looking forward to teasing her friend, agreed with the comment.
"She's right May, Chaz is just like Drew when you were dating, with a personality 10 times worse." A bead of sweat fell on the back of May's neck.
Scratching the back of her head, the brunette spoke sheepishly. "Drew wasn't that bad..."
Lisia narrowed her eyes at the comment. "You broke up with Drew because he was flirting with Soledad on Valentine's Day last year, we had to hold you off for two whole days or Drew would meet Arceus sooner." May threw her hands up in the air and spoke in a slightly annoyed tone.
Dawn didn't fail to add her two cents. "Also, her dad was almost arrested because he ordered Slaking to 'hunt a green-feathered chicken.' Damn, I've seen overprotective parents, but Norman is scary, and I'm a girl, I feel sorry for whoever is his next boyfriend."
"Okay, I already understood that our relationship was horrible, but at least we are all friends now." In the midst of her moment of venting, May realized something and lightly slapped Lisia on the head. "Don't try to change the subject! Tell us who's the guy you're interested in!"
Crying crocodile tears, Lisia tried to dissuade her friends. "You are evil..." A pair of expressionless eyes stared at Lysia, and she groaned in dismay. "Okay, will you two leave me alone if I show you his picture?"
May and Dawn nodded quickly, curiosity eating away at both girls. With a drop of sweat on the back of her neck, Lìsia started playing with her Pokétch on her wrist, and after a few seconds, a photo appeared on the device's screen.
Stretching out her wrist, Lisia blushed. "Here, this is Ashura Draconid, or as I like to call him, Ashy. Are you happy now?" Her friends didn't respond, which made Lisia curious, and when she looked over at May and Dawn, she was startled by what she saw.
Both were crying, as if they had just seen a ghost in the white haired man with the unmistakable 'z' marks on his cheeks.
Ash Ketchum had somehow returned from the dead.
