Why am I starting a new fanfic? Guys… I'm not sure. I'm on a major writing block and writing this was very cathartic and decided to post it, cause why not. As always, thank you for reading and feel free to share your thoughts.
Enjoy.

"Ngh!"
Hard smacks of wood on straw loudly boomed throughout Tarrey Town as Link fiercely attacked the fake sack bokoblin in the middle of his yard.
The blond knight mercilessly threw hard thrashes at the practice dummy in his tall grass. Within a few minutes of his assault on this dummy, he could sense his weapon was about to break at his own aggression but still relented on the poor thing.
With a few more blows, Link felt like he had had enough and with a final breath he lunged back with all his body weight and thrusted forward with all his might so that his sword pierced into the imaginary enemy's head, finally putting it out of its misery. On impact the pile of cloth and straw combust along with his weapon in a gust of wind due to the built up from all the imposing pressure.
"Hah…" Link breathed hard, catching his breath while admiring his damage to calm his heaving. His face felt hot and sweaty especially after training for so long too. It must have been more than a few hours now since he started. The cloud of dark dust and straw settled away from his vision where he was greeted with what was left, a mound of wooden bits from his sword sprinkled along the pile. He pulled up the top of his cloak up to his damp forehead, wiping the sweat away from his brow and neck, all while swallowing hard. Link felt satisfied at his work, any longer and he might pass out, probably a good time to head back in then. While standing there, his back was met by the chill from the darkening evening sky that loomed over all of Hyrule, he quickly stretched out his arms and body in a feeble attempt to get his blood running to warm himself again.
Now was a better time than ever to head inside and get ready, he concludes while turning to his home. Walking along the path to his home the stiffness in his calves makes him trudge up the steps. This surprises Link, he hurries to his shabby kitchen and decides to grab one of the stamina potions stored in and gulps it immediately instantly feeling revived. Physically okay but still feeling mentally exhausted he jogs up his stairs and collapses on his bed and sighs loudly in anguish.
He turns back up from the sheets, his cheeks inflamed and his mind racing all over with thoughts of irritability.
He couldn't believe it, after being drained all day his stupid brain still betrayed him!
He curses under his breath, he spent hours just today mindlessly training all day and still the only thing his brain could show him was thought and image of his lovely aquatic princess.
Mipha.
He flipped himself over and buried his head into the pillow again but in annoyance.
Mipha, Mipha, Mipha… he couldn't for the life of him go more than a few seconds without thinking about her.
Her smile, her easing voice, her sweet and caring demeanor for all living things of Hyrule. Everything about her made the young knight's heart fill with warmth for her. Even his brain eases his guilt at the thought of their date later this evening which soon then left him with a bit of panic.
Gods, she was going to meet him here in less than an hour and he was still as wound up as he was earlier this morning when he woke up.
"Ugh." The blonde sighed, while sitting up from his bed tapping his foot anxiously. He felt disgusted at what he had to do next. The real answer to jitters was obvious to him no matter how hard he tried to never resort to this.
He and Mipha had been courting each other for a few months now and everything about their companionship could be everything that Link could ask for and then some. After the great calamity and with the help of Zelda's gift from the goddess they were able to successfully revive the once fallen champions to their original state. Once restoration had made a successful process for all the land in Hyrule, Zelda had allowed, albeit forcefully, for Link to take an extended leave as thanks.
"Perhaps spending time in all the realms off duty may lapse some of your lost memories," she told him hopefully with a smile and putting a hard yet comforting grasp on his shoulder.
Memories… he thought about this word intensely walking around alone in the open ruins, pondering what that would mean for him.
Memories of what perhaps? He felt like he had a substantial amount of memories from what he was able to find. Plus he had plenty of new memories, with everyone. Lady Impa, Purah, and the Foothill stable owner. What more could he need? He liked meeting these new people that opened their arms to him graciously and Link gladly accepted it.
No point in trying to find something that wasn't even guaranteed right?
Yet no matter how many times he told himself this the questions never died. The thought of memories plagued the young Hylian's mind. Has he met this traveler before? Has he walked this land he just discovered thousands of times before the calamity? Did his fellow knights teach him how to strike like this? To parry in this stance? Any action Link took or new venture he tried, it left him with a plague bleak question in his tracks.
'How many times have I done this before?'
He even felt resentful, frustrated at that question. He even felt this way towards the people who did remember him. Everyone knew who he was, his past, his behaviors and mannerism but him. He almost felt like he wasn't in control of who he was. He was a mere copy, a replacement of the dead hero that tried his hardest to stop the calamity and here he was to pick up the aftermath and relations he had with the world. Even if he did what the last Link couldn't have done, he was still bitterly jealous of him. He had memories, friends, family, knowledge that he could never get back again. This Link only had tiny fragments of who he was in this world. At first Link tries to convince himself that he's grateful that this is enough, but soon he opens up to tell himself that these aren't enough. He wants more-needs of…something that he's not quite sure of. He needs to feel normal, like he actually belongs instead of pretending like he does.
Admitting those feelings felt harder than fighting any calamity blight he had faced.
After a few weeks he takes up Zelda's offer and goes searching for himself.
During the calamity, Link had of course stumbled upon various diaries involving him from all rulers of the land, all writings having their own personal anecdotes about him, some praising him and others discouraged in his ability. In the end, all he found was his time serving for the royal army, ever since he was a kid he and the comman- er his father were given the honor of protecting and fighting for the royal family. Of course that was to be expected. It would be weird if the rulers wrote about some random Hylian after all.
That is except for his time exploring in Lanayru, the Zora domain.
Apparently that's where he grew up before taking residence in Hyrule. The royal family had apparently taken a soft spot for him in his younger years and hoped they had something for him to learn. Deciding that was the best place to start his research there, Link quickly found himself home to the Zora domain, everyone there happy to be reunited with him and quickly offering their support to the champion that had once again restored the peace of their land. Soon after Link started spending most of his days with the king looking over ancient scripts, sparring with Sidon to learn their attack methods and…well.
Just spending time with Mipha.
They of course acted diplomatically as a trained knight and princess, mixed with a smidge of awkwardness thanks to Mipha for the most part. Although, she was the one who immediately offered her assistance to Link in quest of gaining any of his old memories back.
It first started out innocently enough between them, Mipha translating the Zora ancient texts of history for him and after what felt like a lifetime of sitting and studying, the two would take long walks all over the beautiful landscapes Lanayru had to offer and to helping Mipha with completing any reconstruction projects any of the Zora subjects had to finally just spending all his free time he had with her and in vice versa as well. Mipha had soon tried to offer Link temporary housing during his frequency which he swiftly declined.
Early on, when they were studying alone in silence Mipha looked up at him, giving him a longing smile as she watched him concentrate so hard as the pages.
"It's amazing even after everything, nothing about you has changed."
Link looks up surprised to hear her and her statement.
"It's comforting really, being deceased after so long and everything…changing." She chokes a bit on the first statement and turns back to her book, "I'm glad you're the same Link." She tells him genuinely grateful.
Link selfishly forgot that he and Zelda's slumber had affected not only him, but all the champion's including Mipha. While she did have her memories, being placed so far in the future, missing all of her little brother's milestones had affected her of course. Link choked up at her words and nodded, scared of what he would say. He eventually gains his courage back, agreeing that he's glad to have her here as well. They didn't say much to each other after that day but both could feel the air change around them as they smiled at each other before returning to their own texts.
It wasn't long after that the pair gained an even closer sense of friendship. They helped and comforted each other as equals. Listening and comforting one another when the weight of everything felt too great. Until one day while the pair sat together in one the private royal pools together on their resting days, Link resting his legs on the edge of the pool while Mipha sat at his knees restoring him. Despite his injury, Link felt great ease and relaxation after climbing up the falls all day and rested quietly while sitting down while the princess quietly focused on healing on his injuries during a misstep on his last climb.
A wave of relief spread all over his leg as Mipha dotted on him, looking down at her noting how sweaty her appearance was. He felt a bit guilty and embarrassed especially from prior accounts of the Zora people have said, he was always prone to getting into slips and bumps and it seems he still hasn't broken that habit. She had spent the day earlier crafting Zora spears alongside Sidon for their army before he arrived, perhaps that took a bit out of her. Once healed she breathed a sigh of relief as if this wasn't the millionth time she healed him. Link rolled his pants leg down and flexed his leg to show off her craftsmanship and gave her a grateful smile.
She gave him a nervous smile of her own in return, sinking deeper into the pool until only her eyes were in the water. Odd, she hadn't been this shy since he last started spending time in the domain. He grew worried wondering if perhaps she herself was injured or sick due to her sporadic behavior. She soon sat up in the water suddenly, startling Link a bit and spoke out.
"L..Link?" She asked quietly, yet still managed to break up the silence. He looked at curiously, growing more worried as she silently became redder and sweatier.
Right before he was about to ask if she was feeling well, she spoke up. "M-May I…ask you something?" She pleaded her big pupils showed worry and desperation yet pushed on, "I need you to answer honestly. Please." She begged her voice just as wary.
He nods to Mipha insteadfast. He would probably do anything the Zora princess would ask of him, of course he'd give her his honest opinion on anything.
"Um well." she stalls, "It's just that you've been spending a lot of time here.. with my people, my family and… me." She trails off trying to maintain eye contact with him as she mindlessly fiddles with her arm fin.
She continued after straightening her thoughts. "We spend so much time together and I really do enjoy every second together really." She hurriedly interjects to him.
He nods in agreement, feeling the same way. Relief washing over her face as she braves herself as to what she asks next.
"Link… what are we then?"
With that thought she finally spurts out, Mipha sank her body back into the water revealing only her head peeking out of the pool in deep redness while awaiting for Link to answer.
What were they?
There was no simple or easy answer to that question.
Him and Mipha were obviously more than friends. No one else in Hyrule knew quite as much about Link in his younger days than her and after spending so much time together Link started to feel like he knew way more about Mipha than anyone else. She was a powerful and strong leader, as swift and mighty as she was, she was as equally as loving. Building relations among all villages and kingdoms of Hyrule with her father and brother. She enjoyed teaching the little one how to climb the falls and praised them as if they were her own children.
He enjoyed watching her almost as he enjoyed spending time together. After any mission Zelda had assigned him, he'd soon come running to the Zora domain and relax here with Mipha as she caught him up on all the Zora news while he was out. He liked listening to her speak softly to him and her calm aura she naturally exuded, it didn't take a lot for people to figure out that Link preferred listening rather than talking. Listening to Mipha never made him fatigued and instead encouraged her.
Of course the obvious being that he thought she was beautiful as well. Her slender form that was just as delicate as it looked could fool any yiga member or monster at first glance. Link would occasionally lose breath watching her form in the pools as she danced through the falls with ease and her limbs and torso sparkled and glinted from remaining water droplets as she jumped out of the water. Of course every time she would swim back to him the smile she greeted him every morning filled his heart with warmth, hoping that he'd be greeted with it everyday for the rest of his life.
Ah, that last thought made his ears grow warm and tried to not think about her beauty for a few seconds.
What she lacked in ferocity in appearance made up for it in technique. She didn't train the royal army and Sidon based on looks alone. Even Link could vouch for her during their occasional sparring matches, the princess build was sturdy and well built.
Huh, this bond. Was it as close as it was before the great calamity? From Mipha's last writings it seems like it must have. This turn of events was almost hilarious, it was almost as if the goddess Hylia had bound the two to be inseparable. No matter where they were, no matter what happened in the past, and even with losing his memories it didn't matter, he still found himself quietly spending his days with Mipha.
That thought surprised him just as quickly as he thought it. Link wasn't filled with worry about forgetting an important memory or moment he had with Mipha before the calamity. His mind was filled to ease simply and all the nerve wrecking thoughts were swept away. The only thought in his mind was the moment they had now. Nothing of the past or future could disrupt the present they held right now. He wasn't scared if he would lose his memories again even, he believed fully that somehow no matter what, Mipha and he would be back together.
He looked back up at the princess who was eagerly awaiting for him to answer and expressed his thoughts to her, making the Zora grow as equally embarrassed as they were giddy.
She speaks up again and asks the question that's been on her mind all week.
"Then.. could we announce our courtship perhaps..'' She asks, unable to look at him without feeling embarrassed and stares at her own reflection pooling around her and fiddles with her tail.
Link almost instantly agreed the moment the words left her mouth and she giggled at his eagerness. Her laughter caused Link to subconsciously draw into the water with her holding her hands and rubbing soothing circles on her while Mipha leaned into his sturdy body and she melted into their embrace.
After that moment their time together blurred together in a way that made Link feel warm inside. Their research meetings turned into research dates and their occasional spars turned into playful fighting even. Despite her father's protest, Mipha even left the kingdom to spend a day or two some time exploring Hyrule with her beloved. Their relationship was pure of course in the beginning. Holding hands together while reading and cuddling in the low tides and in his chambers for hours until Mipha would doze off and sneaking passionate kisses and quick make outs whenever they could.
Truth be told, as much as he loved their closeness it also scared him in every advancement. Besides Zelda, he had never had any real experience with princess diplomacy or even just women romantically even.
Being asleep for more than a few years does that to a guy.
From what he asked from Zelda and the women he knew, Link soon figured out that Mipha was a lady, an important lady at that. Mipha was raised to lead and serve her people and uphold the honor that came with that responsibility. She held the title of the Zorain princess with similar honor and respect. Anytime they shared a chastise kiss Mipha would gently rest her webbed hands in his chest and it took Link everything in his power to stop his hands from wandering down to her backside to feel up his girlfriend. Or the times when they sat with each other on his bed making out, Link would restrain his urges and keep to only gentle touches on her legs and thighs amused at the blush that would cover her cheeks.
She was special not only to him but to everyone that had the fortune to know her and Link never wanted her to not feel such a way due to his desires.
"Agh…" he let out a frustrated moan at the thought of her and his desires. He needed to get himself together now, Mipha promised to arrive at his home at sundown to spend the next day here.
He lied down on his back and took one last long sigh, defeated at himself.
Fuck, he had no other choice now.
Link hastily unbuttoned his pants just low enough so that he could pull down his waistband so he could easily access his underwear, slipping out his slightly hard dick eager to be out and finally get some attention after so long.
The knight hissed as the cool air wafted around his member. The cool late autumn air made his house chilly when he was too lazy to light a fire to warm up the place.
Link thinks about how he should get a fire started soon for Mipha due to her cold blood as he lazily circles the head of cock hoping that his precum would serve as enough lubricant. The second his mind spoke her name he immediately started to spill out precum as if it was a chain reaction.
He quickly moved down to his shaft ready to start.
'Ahh…' as shameful as he felt thinking about the princess while he started to jerk off, he couldn't help but love it as well. Mipha who was all his, his sweet and pretty princess who only wanted him inflated his ego as he continued to touch himself. He thought what their first time would be like he would make sure that their first time would be a night she would never forget. Touching and kissing every inch of her form to make sure she was well taken care of and would be attentive to every need that she cried out too.
He forces himself to break away from his little fantasy and looks outside the window, damn as much as he wanted to stay in his imagination of her appearance, by the looks of the sun he knew he had to hurry.
Link opened up his legs a bit farther and picked up the pace around his shaft, he closed his eyes and thought about the Zora in all sorts of lewd positions. Even though he was inexperienced with this…entire thing he was a young hylian still. He's seen his fair share of intimate material occasionally littered across the lands. His mind conjured up the thought of Mipha in this very room and bed with him. She looked just as beautiful as she had been since he had first laid eyes upon her. He imagined letting his hands finally wander down and caress every part of her while mapping out and feeling every part of Mipha's mouth. She moaned in delight at her boyfriend's gentle domination and pulled herself into him, allowing him full control. Finally moving away from her curves he moves his hands to his next plans. Link holds her waist so that he has pinned down to the bed while he took in every inch of her mouth as she laid there happily as he took in every inch of her mouth she had to offer.
Link started to audibly moan and shut his eyes hard at the thought of Mipha laying on her back ready and a bit nervous as Link lets go of his grasp on her side. Caressing her from her bottom lip to her breast. She moans out his name in a beckoning tone 'Oh gods Link please…" she cries as Link uses his other hand to rub soothing circles along her thigh and below her entrance.
Link's almost surprised at how slick he still is after his aggressive motions, he isn't sure how long time has passed but he was still pumping hard and could feel himself coming close to the edge.
Mipha pulls both of her arms over the young knight as he positions himself to enter her. He looks back down to her, her expression is glazed over with love and desire. She whimpers for him and pleads for him to give her what she needs. He nods, unable to wait longer if he wanted to and hurriedly enters her, both moaning in relief at his action.
"M..mipha" he weakly whimpers out of his fantasy.
Mipha holding on to lover for dear life as Link fucks her mercilessly. She squeals beneath him and cries out to him. She yells out praises and begs for him as Link fills her up. She felt so good around him too, intoxicating even, he didn't wanna leave her side ever again. Every thrust out was met with a slam right back into her in an attempt to never leave her. How could he when she begged and screamed at him pleading to never let go and not to pull out of her. He could hardly believe how she squeezed tightly around him so tightly that it made Link cum almost instantly at the thought.
When he came it was almost stung a bit as much as it was euphoric for him. His load shot high and long as he muttered out her name one last time as it continued to pour out of him even when he stopped stroking himself.
He panted and slowly came down from his high. He felt ashamed and embarrassed as he slowly came back down to reality and stared at the mess he had made and at his own thoughts previously. His stomach and pelvis were covered in his cum which discomforted him. He figured he had better hurry and clean himself up before Mipha comes knocking any minute now. But he's exhausted from his training and his activities now. Lifting himself off his back sounds like too much of a bother, he simply wants to rest, in hopes of forgetting what he has done. He flutters his eyes close for a minute, ignoring the nagging feeling in the back of his head that tells him to stay awake. His stronger consciousness soon won over and slipped into a quick nap.
Blissfully unaware of the pink Zorian peering out of the doorframe watching all that her boyfriend had to offer.
Thank you all probably 10 Link and Mipha fans for reading this FanFiction, this will only be about one or two more chapters only to help me get back into the flow of writing.
Please look forward to the next chapter.
