Hello everyone, this is my first time writing a fanfiction and I am really scared about how you all would like it. I am an Indian so I do not many Japanese words but I still try my best to add them. So, please forgive me for the short chapter and any grammar mistakes that I might have made.

A blonde boy shuffles I his bed and slowly opened his blue colored eyes. He groaned as he stood up and stretched. 'Good Morning Kurama' he thought. ''Good morning kid'' said Kurama with a yawn and a swish of one of his nine tails.

The boy's name is Uzumaki Naruto the jailer of Kyuubi, the nine-tailed fox, also known by Naruto as Kurama. Walking up to the mirror in his two room apartment Naruto sighed 'Only a few more days left' thought Naruto as he looked at his calendar. More specifically at the circle which marked 10th October. 'Only 4 more days left for my birthday' thought Naruto as he got dressed in his usual orange jumpsuit.

'I better hurry or else I will be late' he thought. He glanced at the clock. I showed 8:45 am. 'Relax kid' he heard Kurama say in his head 'You don't have to meet your teammates and sensei until 9:15.' 'That's true but I don't want to take any chances. Plus, if I am late Sakura-chan will have my head for it. Also ninja should always be punctual' he said to Kurama.

That's right. Naruto is a Konohagakure ninja, a genin to be exact. Due to Orochimaru's invasion of Konoha during the Chunam Exam and the killing of the third hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, he wasn't able to become one.

The reason he is in a hurry is because today, as usual, he has to go and meet his team and sensei at the bridge. His team is weird one. His sensei Hatake Kakashi, the Copy Cat Ninja, with a Sharingan he obtained from only god knows where (I do as well) is always late. His teammates are also unique. Uchiha Sasuke, Naruto's best friend, rival and brother in everything but blood, is one of the few living Uchiha after his own elder brother, Uchiha Itachi, massacred his entire clan. Haruno Sakura, one of Sasuke's fan girls and the long time crush of Naruto.

Naruto finished the instant ramen he had cooked and looked at the clock again. It was 9am now. "Damn, I am going to be late!" yelled Naruto to no one. He quickly took his training gear, locked the door and ran. After some time Kurama suddenly yelled 'Hey kid watch out!'

Suddenly, out of the blue a kunai struck him in his right leg and he fell down due to his surprise at the unexpected attack. He looked up and what he saw made his blood freeze and body tremble with fear. In front of him was a mob, a very angry mob, one which was thirsty for revenge. And suspecting from the accuracy the kunai was shot in that crowd ere, along with civilians, chunin and jounin as well.

That was when Naruto started having flashbacks of him running from mobs which chased him on each and every one of his birthdays. "Kind run!" yelled Kurama and that was exactly what Naruto did. However he could not get far when suddenly two kunais pierced him in his right thigh and left arm respectively. He fell down due to the force they hit him with. It was only a few second before the mob reached the fallen boy.

'No nononono' thought Naruto in fear. He started having flashbacks again. Only this time they were about how every time after Naruto was beaten up and tortured a silver hair, a black, a long purple or a short purple haired ANBU would find him and along with the third hokage take him to the hospital.

How every time civilians and shinobi would gather around the hospital yelling about why the old man was protecting the 'demon' or hoe the 'monster' brainwashed the hokage and each and every time the old man would get the mob men executed and would yell at the people for being too blind to see the truth. Naruto was snapped back to the reality when one of the mob members yelled 'Let's show the demon his place!' The mob yelled a chorused 'yes' and then began to attack Naruto.
