Law; To Temuair to be with Her.
"Where?"
Estranged. Abandoned. Left in the forsaken world of… Where is this place? What continent am I on? This place looks so serene but nothing like I remembered back home, my panoramic Forest. Surrounded by friends, Mantises and Beetles, where they and I tend to prank those Aislings. They carry delicious food, beef, chicken, and sometimes even apples! We do not have apples in Shinewood, so sometimes, we nabbed what we can from those Aislings.
"Who am I?"
I have a dearest half-sister. She looks regal, is regal, her features majestic. Her green crown was donned on her, protecting and shielding her alluring looks from anyone who intended to mar her delicate features. She is a Lady to me and to most of the creatures of the Forest. Even the beloved Fae does not hold a candle to her. She flies around to visit everyone she knows, her majestic span of wings carrying her, flying gracefully from one grass plain to another, flying between the trees. Occasionally, she would carry me along while my wings were still developing.
A Lady carries with her a heavy burden to protect the greatest treasures of all in the Forest. I have been told, whispers of the Old, that she must guard them lest they fall to these Aislings! I have seen them exploring deeper and deeper into my home, my woods, the last being more daring than the one before. I laid my eyes on these treasures once when my Lady brought me to the Altar of the Forest and instantly knew why.
"I think my name is akin to her."
With these treasures, the Aislings can venture without fear into the World, into my home, deeper into the Forest. I have seen them hurting my friends, my little Vipers, who maintain the sanctity of the soils of the Forest. They hurt Wasps, who buzz freely around the grass plains.
I have seen them hurt Red Mantis and Giant Ant, two of my best and trusted friends. They learnt the secrets of luring and killing them from that obnoxious coward in that miserable hut! They learnt that by concocting potions, they could lure and kill my friends. Aislings have even gone the distance to hurt my pets, my Hydracos, to gain the Dragon Scale Sword. The Sword can hurt my friends the instant it strikes them.
"I am Law."
My Lady is crafty and wise, knowing that creatures of the Forest will keep her Claw safe. However, I have seen a sneaky thief slithering into our Home, stealing her most precious adornments. Her Rings and Feathers have been stolen to ensure that those accursed Aislings kill my trusted friends in exchange for their Head and Claw. He stows them away, safe in his enclosure, in his safe, away from prying eyes. By killing my trusted friends and my beloved pets, they have stolen bits and pieces of garments that my Lady adorns.
She will emerge when the Aislings place the garments onto our most sacred, holy site, the Altar.
My Lady.
Inflamed.
Enraged.
For they have killed her beloved ones.
"I must return Home."
I now remember my past. I now know what needs to be done. I will summon all manner of creatures from the deepest recesses of Chadul's Realm. I will harm these Aislings, for they have harmed my friends and my Lady. Time and time again, after healing from previous wounds and with the many scars upon their body, Aislings will come down and hurt them.
My friends.
My pets.
My half-sister, my Lady.
"To Temuair, to Shinewood Forest."
I will prepare to return to my beloved Home, my beloved Shinewood Forest. I have been defeated countless times by these accursed Aislings, but no matter. Eventually, I will find my way back home to protect my Lady and my home. I will swoop these blasphemous Aislings out of my Home with my wings. I will perform rituals and cast protective charms around my Home. I will return Shinewood to what it was, a serene place where my Lady, my friends, my Hydracos and I can be left in peace, away from the madness of the World.
Safe.
With her.
