"Oh, no! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Kobeni's entire body shook as she backed away, tears and snot pouring from her face as visceral panic set in. Not for Power, whom she'd just (completely accidentally) stabbed in the side, but for herself. "I'm sorry!"

In truth, it was all Power's fault. She saw Kobeni holding her knife, looking it over and turning it in her hands as she sometimes did. She had to have seen it. And even after seeing it, she kept running around, jumping up and down, and trying to plow into her.

It was only a surprise this didn't happen sooner, though a cool 15 seconds from taking the knife out to Power running into it was still pretty good time. What was she even trying to accomplish with this, and why wouldn't she leave her alone? Not like Makima was being any help in that regard, deciding for some reason beyond all logic to have them work a job together at an apartment complex today.

Kobeni groveled on the dirty hallway floor and begged for forgiveness, Power seeming frozen in place. Frankly, she'd be fine even with the knife stuck in her all the way up to the hilt. She was the Blood Fiend, after all. The wound wasn't even bleeding, and she'd recover quickly if she just had something to drink.

Unfortunately, it seemed like Kobeni would be that drink. Power cackled, almost seeming excited as she sprinted over to Kobeni, shoving her on her back and mounting her. "Tis a battle!" she screeched.

"I didn't mean to!" Kobeni sobbed. She might have accepted she was about to die, but she wasn't going to be quiet about it.

"Ignorant human!" Power shouted from barely an inch away from her face. "You stab the great, magnificent, almighty, immortal Power and expect me not to take it as an invitation for combat? A fool, you are!" Kobeni's tears only seemed to make this more fun for her as she lifted her hand up. "I'm a generous Fiend, however. I'll use only my hand to stab you in turn!"

She certainly had the claws for it, but that seemed a...strange decision. Power could make her blood into anything she wanted, so why not just make a knife and pay her back for it? Not like she was going to say that, obviously. It's never a good idea to give the crazy person more ideas about how to hurt you.

"Prepare thyself, human! I'm about to penetrate you with my fingers! Justice for your insolence!"

Certainly an interesting way to say you're about to stab someone. Almost sounded like...another thing. A thing she didn't want to think about. Well, not usually. Maybe sometimes, but definitely not now. Not while she was underneath Power.

Like, who would ever want that with Power? She never fucking stopped screaming or trying to kill people. She usually smelled like she rolled out of a dumpster. She didn't seem to have any hobbies besides cats and murder. She was always bullying and belittling her in ways that...weirdly veered into compliments sometimes. She was super racist, too, at least in the sense that "human" was a race.

Was...was her taste...really that bad? Fuck. Really?

Well, now or never. Kobeni choked back a sob, lip quivering as she gazed into Power's manic eyes full of (blood)lust. "P-please be gentle," she whined.

Power opened her mouth like she was about to speak, then closed it. For the first time possibly ever, she looked to be at a loss for words. "Wait, what?" In an instant, she'd jumped to her feet, backing away until she ran into a wall. "What? What? What the hell are you saying? You don't...stabbings aren't gentle!"

Kobeni sat up, growing more confused. "What?"

"You!" Power shouted, pointing at her with a shaking hand. "Stay away from me! You're a freak! A creep! A weirdo!" Before any further discussion could take place, she smashed through a window and ran off down the street.

Kobeni stood up, wiping her face with a handkerchief and getting herself under control. Every bit of this was not how she expected things to go. Now she was dirty, tired, and down a knife. It'd cost, like, 300 yen to buy a new one at the store, assuming Power lost that one (she absolutely would).

She was still shaking even several minutes later. Even after smashing a Devil to death with a shower rod. Even after leaving the building to head back to headquarters. Was this because she came so close to death yet again that day, or because she didn't get to do what she'd been expecting there at the end?

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" she muttered. She didn't know if she was talking to Power or herself.

I don't know what I'm doing anymore.

Are they even part of the LGBLT or are they just stupid? You decide.

If you were expecting this series to just be about Gundam, you were a fool. Yuri can be anything, anywhere, in any franchise, at any time. It strikes without warning, just like a knife in the ribs that a girl definitely didn't mean to stab you with.

I'm unraveling.
