Adrien walked down the halls to the locker room. Even though he was excited to see his lady, he still got flustered around her. "Okay, Adrien. You just say hi, Marinette. After all, today is just like any other day. No way you can screw this up. You gotta be cool. Be cool."
"You gonna talk to yourself all day, or are going to turn on Kitty Charm?" Plagg grumbled, gulping a piece of cheese. "Plagg, this is serious! What if I stumble over my words, or run her to her…." "Not my problem." "Your a great help," Adrien muttered as Plagg disappeared.
He scanned the locker room, sighing with relief. He didn't see Marinette, so he had a few more minutes to practice. "Hi, Adrien!" Marinette sang and Adrien turned a beet red color. He hadn't meant to find out her identity. He had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. But when your a cat, you have to wash when the licking urge gets you.
Okay, be cool, be cool. You are cool, Adrien told himself. He slowly turned, eyes wide as Marinette approached. Did she have to look so cute with pink yarn in her hair? Why was she so perfect? This made everything so much more scary! "I'm cool!" Adrien blurted out loud.
Oh, cheese and crackers, why did you have to open your mouth, Agreste? That was supposed to be in your head! Marinette flushed a pink color. "I know?" she squeaked. Maybe it was time to head for class before she said something silly. "Well, see you in class, Adrien."
When she sat down at her desk, she looked down at Nikki. "Was it just me, or was Adrien acting weird?" "Marinette, you two are always weird! Your like two peas in a pod!"
Adrien tried to hide his blushing face as he walked to his first class. "I think she's starting to fall for me," Adrien whispered. "You think?!" Came the response from his bag. Adrien sat down with a sigh. He try again at lunch to flirt, but this time he would be extra careful.
