Harry slowly opens his eyes trying to remember where he was. Until he suddenly jerks up looking around not recognizing the area. It looked like a white void full of wispy smoke, although it has a sticking similarity to Kings Cross Station.

Harry looks around and sees Dumbledore, a familiar feeling of simmering anger rising up at the sight of the man. It was his fault that Harry was in the situation he was in. If he had just told Harry he was a horcrux they could have found a better way to remove it from him, a better way than headbutting a killing curse at least. For a second time no less!

Harry stopped his inner ranting when he saw Dumbledore about to start talking. "Harry, my boy, it is good to see you again!" Dumbledore said in that familiar grandfatherly tone. Either not noticing, or just not caring about, Harry's slight flinch at the word boy.

That word had gained negative connotation for Harry due to his time at the Dursley's. Hearing that word usually was followed by either being yelled at, a pleasant surprise when it happens, or a brutal beating, the more likely of the two.

Harry's attention was drawn back to Dumbledore when he heard him start to talk again. "Harry, you have a very serious decision to make." Dumbledore started, "You can either go on to the next great adventure with Sirius and your parents, or you can go back to the land of the living and finish what you started." Dumbledore finished in a serious tone.

Upon hearing this Harry only had one thought, that he immediately voiced to Dumbledore. "Why should I go back?" Questioned Harry not seeing any reason to. Dumbledore however took on a disappointed face at his response and replied "Now Harry you remember the prophecy, you are the only one who can kill Tom. Your friends will be in danger if you don't go back to the land of the living."

Harry response only made the disappointed look deepen, "Why does that matter to me? I've already died so why should I care about the living?" Dumbledore avoided the question by saying, "Your parents would be very disappointed with what you're saying."

That answer did nothing but anger Harry who lashed out saying, "Don't you dare use my parents against me Dumbledore!" barely able to hold back the snarl that wanted to escape him. Dumbledore did his best to remain calm and levelheaded, even though he was beginning to get annoyed with how Harry was acting. "Now don't be rash, my boy." Dumbledore said in response.

Harry himself closed his eyes and ignored that Dumbledore even existed. A little while later he heard Dumbledore's voice suddenly vanish and in it's place was a voice that was decidedly gruff and had a tone of annoyance to it.

He opens his eyes and saw a man that was at least 6 foot 11, easily towering over Harry, who was already very short for his age group due to a combination of malnutrition, his childhood bedroom of a cupboard, and his poor posture. The man started to talk after Harry stopped studying him. "Harry Potter," the figure started talking, "you are one of the biggest problems that have had in my eons of existence." The figure stated.

Harry, for his part, was very confused. This man said that he had existed for eons, but that was impossible, just who was this man. Before he had a chance to voice his question he got the answer, "I am known by many names, Thanatos, Yama, Maya, or as you know me, Death." The figure, now revealed to be Death, stated.

This revelation stunned Harry into silence. I mean it's not every day that you meet one of, if not the, most feared deity of all time. Apparently deciding to break the silence, Death started speaking again, "You need to decide, stay dead, come back to life, or finally you can go back. Back to where it all began at a year of your choosing."

To Harry it was an easy choice, he didn't particularly feel like dying, and he didn't feel like going to the living world only to be killed again. "I choose to go back to the year 1990." Harry swiftly chose. "Very well, I advise you to stop by Gringotts bank at the earliest you can. I have decided to remove the horcrux when you get sent back so you may notice a large increase in magicall power and control, because the horcrux had been syphoning about 50% of your overall magic.
