(Later the Loud siblings are walking down the sidewalk passing people and Pokémon. Finally they arrived at Albert's apartment building, some Aipom hang around a neon sign out front the Louds approached the front door and takes deep breathes. As they takes deep breathes and look around, they notices a Psyduck and a Riolu staring at them. The Psyduck and Riolu nervously slips into an alley. The Louds enters the building. An attendant is asleep in a chair behind a glass barrier, and the attendant's Treecko is sleeping on the barrier. The Loud kids knocks on the barrier, waking the Treecko but not the attendant.)
Lori: Excuse us?
Lincoln: We're in need of assistant.
(The Treecko looks over to the attendant, who doesn't wake up.)
Luna: Okay.
Lola: Rude much.
(The Louds walks over to the mailboxes. They finds Albert's and opens it with the key Yoshida gave them. A stack of envelopes are inside. Suddenly, the siblings are startled by Psyduck and Riolu.)
Psyduck: Psyduck. Pysduck.
Riolu: Riolu. Riolu.
Lynn: Are you two trying to rob us or just annoy us?
Luan: Sure looks like both.
Psyduck: Psyduck.
Riolu: Riolu.
Voice: They're with us.
(The Louds squints up the stairs and see two figures silhouetted by a bright light on the second floor.)
Voice 2: We need to talk.
Lincoln: We do?
Voice 2: I've been waiting to see who would open up that mailbox. You all just walked into quite a story.
(The figures begins walking down the stairs.)
Voice 2: Stories like this spread fear, and they're afraid of fear. But I don't fear fear.
Voice 1: Unlike me.
(The figures makes it to the bottom of the stairs and their faces become visible. The first figure was a 17 year old Hispanic boy with black hair with tuft combed upwards. He's wearing blue jeans, brown shoes, a belt, a cream-colored t-shirt under a green unbuttoned shirt. The second was a 11 year old girl, black hair tied in a ponytail, freckles on her cheeks, wearing a purple sweatshirt, jean shorts, pink shoes and purple shoes.)
Girl: I walk the walk and I talk the talk and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get the honest scoop and that's the hard truth.
Boy: Okay sis take it down a notch.
Lola: I'm sorry. Who are you?
Boy: Names Bobby Santiago.
Girl: Ronnie Anne Santiago, reporter for CNM.
Leni: Oh. You seem kinda young for that.
Lisa: Very young.
Ronnie Anne: I work for the CNM blog making Pokémon listicles all day, okay? "Top 10 Cutest Pokémon."
Luna: Yeah, our mom loves those!
Bobby: As do I.
Ronnie Anne: Yeah, newsflash! They're all cute! Such a waste of time for someone with my nose for a story.
(Psyduck quacks nervously.)
Ronnie Anne: Oh, no, no, not now, Psyduck. I'm working a source, just one more minute.
Lincoln: Okay, we're gonna...
(Ronnie Anne puts her arm out, blocking The Louds from the stairs. She pulls out a phone and begins recording.)
Ronnie Anne: I'm gonna need you to go on record and tell me everything you know about Albert Willard
Lori: Wait, what?
Ronnie Anne: Albert was onto something big. Real big. And then all of a sudden, his car crashes over a bridge. I think not. Something's rotten and I'm gonna get to the bottom of it-
Lynn: Hey, look, we barely know the guy. we haven't seen him in years.
Ronnie Anne: Where's your Pokemon partner?
Bobby: Yeah doesn't everyone have a Pokemon partner?
Lola: We don't have one. Why does everyone keep asking me that?
Ronnie Anne: Loners. Probably hiding something.
Bobby: Nie-nie.
Psyduck: Psyduck.
Riolu: Riolu.
Lincoln: Okay We're gonna go.
Lynn: Werido.
(They begins to make their way up the stairs.)
Ronnie Anne: Hey. I may only be an unpaid intern, but I can smell a story. And I'm going to find it.
Bobby: (whispers) Sorry about this.
Luan: Okay, you do that.
Lola: Busy body.
(The Louds continues making their way up the stairs.)
Ronnie Anne: Come on, Psyduck. Let's go.
Bobby: You too Riolu.
Riolu: Riolu.
Psyduck: Psyduck.
(The two leave with their pokemons following them.)
(Later the Loud kids enter Albert's apartment. They take a Look around. The TV is playing a movie.)
Voice: Who is it?
Lincoln: Hello?
Lori: Anyone there?
Voice 2: It's me, Snakes. I got the stuff.
(The Louds close the door and sees the Tv)
Johnny: Leave it on the doorstep and get the hell out of here.
Snakes: Alright, Johnny, but what about my money?
(Lincoln turns the tv off)
Lincoln: Still, with the old detective movies?
(The Louds looks at a number of plaques on a nearby wall. They walks over to a desk and looks at some files, then Lynn finds a vial.)
Lynn: What's this?
Lori: Lynn don't touch literally anything.
Luna: Yeah we're here to collect Pop-pop's things not to fool around.
Lynn: I just want to see what this is.
(Lynn attempts to open it, but ends up spraying a purple gas not just her face but also her siblings. They coughs violently and frantically opens the nearest window, holding the vial out to get the gas out. Just out of sight, the gas floats up to some Aipom hanging around outside. They inhale it and start growling, and their eyes get a strange purple quality to them. Lincoln closes the window.)
Lincoln: What?! What?! What is that stuff?!
Lucy: That was some kind of darkness.
Lori: I say not to touch literally anything!
Lynn: Well sorry I want to see what it was.
(She tosses the vial in a trash bin. They walks away and finds Albert's room. He sees a letter on a bresser and finds a note with a train ticket inside. Lisa reads it aloud.)
Lisa: Dear Kids, I could do better if you all give me a chance. I'll always have a place for all of you to stay.
(The Loud kids has a flashback It was the younger Loud siblings and their parents stand on a train platform.)
Rita: Your grandfather will pick up from the station.
Young Lincoln: We're not going.
Rita: What?
Lynn Sr: But we thought this was your dream.
Young Leni: We don't wanna go!
Young Lola: This is our home.
Young Lana: We wanna stay here with you.
(Back in the present, Lisa puts the letter down. The siblings enters the rooms Albert kept for them and turns on a lamp. The room is filled with Pokemon paraphernalia. One poster reads "SINNOH CHAMPIONSHIP XXIV. The Louds sits down on the beds and sighs.)
Luna: Oh, man.
(Another flashback starts, It shows the Loud kids in the Loud House with their mother.)
Young Lucy: his is the most important day of our life.
Young Lynn: Couldn't this had waited another day.
Rita: I know, kids. But your grandma had to see the doctor. It couldn't wait.
(Thunder rumbles. In the present, The siblings continues staring at the poster. Cut to another flashback. The Younger Loud siblings watches as Albert exits a car outside in the rain, his face obscured. Inside, Rita cries and hugs Albert, with Harry facing away from The Loud kids.)
Rita: Dad...
(The Younger Loud siblings watches and furrows his brow. In the present, a floorboard creaks. The siblings looks up and wipes their eyes. They gets up out of the bed.)
Luan: Hello?
Lori: Someone there?
(No one responds.)
Lincoln: Hello?
(Something scurries around in the main room, knocking over a lamp.)
Voice: Oh, ahh. That's a sprain.
(Lincoln picks up a stapler while Lynn picks a bat. The knocked over lamp silhouettes the figure against the wall.)
Lincoln: Okay, okay, okay, okay… Whoever you are, I know how to use this.
Lynn: Come on out, unless you want your face smashed.
(The Louds slowly approaches with Lincoln having the stapler cocked. He turns the corner and finds a Pikachu wearing a detective hat)
Lily: (giggles) Mousie!
Lincoln: It's a Pikachu?
Leni: Ah a cute at that.
Lori: Leni now is not the time.
Pikachu: Ah, geez.
(Pikachu jumps up on a dresser.)
Lana: Hey, little guy, how did you get in here?
Lola: And where did you come from?
(Pikachu speaks slowly, enunciating.)
Pikachu: I know you can't understand me, but put down the stapler and the bat or I will electrocute you.
(Lincoln and Lynn drops the stapler and the bat and the Loud kids jaws drop in shock)
Lincoln: Did you just talk?
Lisa: It sounds he just talk.
Pikachu: Woah. Did you just understand me? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. That is heavy eye contact right there. You heard me.
(The Louds backs away)
Lori: No, no, no.
Pikachu: Yes, you did!
Luna: Stop!
Pikachu: Oh, my god, this is amazing!
Luna: Stop!
Pikachu: You can understand me!
Luan: Stop talking, stop!
Pikachu: And I've been so lonely.
Lynn: I'm gonna throw up.
Pikachu: No, kid, I need your help.
Lynn: I'm gonna throw up.
Pikachu: I'm in serious trouble. I need you to listen.
(Lynn approaches the window, but an Aipom bursts in.)
Lynn: No, no, no, no!
Lola: This not what we need right now!
(The Aipom leaps on the desk. The Louds backs away.)
Pikachu: Excuse me, Aipom, we're having a private conversation here, please.
Lisa: Stop talking! You're a hallucination!
Pikachu: You're a hallucination.
Lisa: That doesn't even make sense!
(The Louds turns back to the Aipom)
Lola: You, out! Shoo, go!
(The Aipom growls)
Pikachu: I'd tread lightly there, chief. That Aipom don't look right.
(The Aipom leaps forward and throws Lincoln into the desk)
Loud sisters: Lincoln!
(The girls rush to get the Aipom off their brother)
Pikachu: No, hey, hey! Get off him, wack-job!
(The Aipom continues throwing Lincoln around)
Pikachu: Get up, kid! He's coming back around.
(Pikachu gets up on a countertop as Lincoln continues brawling with the Aipom while his sisters to try to get the Aipom off of him.)
Pikachu: Okay, here's what you wanna do. Okay, you wanna bite him, you wanna scream! We're playing charades. We're not playing charades! Okay, I'm gonna get a knife.
Lincoln: Not the knife!
Luna: We don't want to cut our brother's face off.
Pikachu: Okay, bad idea with the knife. I'll find something else. Eat this!
(Pikachu throws a fruit at the Aipom, who grabs it and jumps off of Lincoln, devouring it.)
Pikachu: You are so welcome. He was just a hungry little guy- oh, my god!
(There's a crash. The Louds turns around. More Aipom enter through the window.)
Lola: Oh come on!
Pikachu: Come on, kid, let's move!
(The Aipoms chase them out of the apartment and into the hallway. More Aipoms come up from the lower floors.)
Pikachu: To the roof!
(The Louds and Pikachu run up the stairs as Aipoms try to grab at them. On the roof, The Loud siblings is barely able to hold the door shut as the Aipoms attempt to push it open.)
Pikachu: Brilliant idea! You hold the door. I'll go get help!
(Pikachu runs off)
Loud siblings: What?!
(The Aipoms shove the door down on top of the Loud siblings. They chase after Pikachu, who slips through a gap in a fence.)
Pikachu: Help, help! Oh, my god, help!
(The Aipoms are stopped by the fence. The Louds gets up and the door falls off of them. The Aipoms hear it and turn back on them in unison.)
Lori: Oh, sh…
(The kicks open a fence and runs for it as the Aipoms chase them.)
Pikachu: Help, help! Oh, my god, help!
(Pikachu runs along a nearby rooftop as he sees The Louds being chased.)
Pikachu: Oh, he's being eaten alive! They're being eaten alive! children are dying!
(The Louds makes his way through a small gap as the Aipoms rip Lincoln's shirt off. another grabs at his pants and he manages to undo his belt, falling to the ground below.)
Pikachu: No one's coming! People are so insensitive. Uh-oh, put your pants back on and run like the wind!
(The Louds turns up to see the Aipoms all bunched up in a generator of some kind. It explodes and some of their tails begin to glow with electricity.)
Pikachu: Blazing speed, blazing speed!
(A wall nearby explodes open as the Aipoms begin hurling attacks at the Loud siblings.)
Pikachu: You know, they seem to be attracted to your increasing nudeness.
Lincoln: You're not helping!
(Pikachu and the Louds run back into each other and climb the stairs of a piece of scaffolding.)
Pikachu: Alright, we're jumping down here. (He gestures to a trash chute)
Lori: No, no! We're literally not going in the trash chute.
Lola: Push it's filthy.
Pikachu: Good call, let me know how it goes with the super crazy Pokémon!
(The Aipoms all appear on a ledge above them.)
Pikachu: You died a hero!
(The Aipoms leap down. Pikachu and the Louds jump in the chute, an Aipom grabbing Lincoln's pants off just before he enters. The Louds screams as they falls. They ends up in a dumpster which flips over from the force of their landing.)
Pikachu: Way to stick the landing, kids.
Lynn: Leave us alone!
(The Aipoms finally catch up, but the effect of the purple gas seems to have worn off.)
Pikachu: Oh, looks like someone's back in a good mood.
(Elsewhere, The Louds keeps running away, making their way to a street.)
Lana: Run! Rabid Aipom! Look out! Run!
(Humans and Pokémon alike give The Loud kids strange looks as they yells.)
Luan: Go, go, go, go, go! They're- Go! They-
(The Aipoms arrive at the street, some of them playing with Lincoln's pants.)
Pikachu: I think pants are gonna do you a lot of good right now.
(One of the Aipom hands Lincoln back his pants.)
Lincoln: Shoo, go!
(The Aipoms run back into the alleyway. Lincoln puts his pants back on.)
Pikachu: You know, I picture you as a bit of a briefs guy, but those are nice. Me, I don't wear underwear, you know? I'm not modest.
(The Louds gets the attention of a couple of strangers passing by.)
Lisa: Excuse me, excuse me, hi. Sorry. Uh, you can hear him, right? You can hear him talking?
(She gestures to Pikachu, who we momentarily hear from the perspective of the strangers as a normal Pokemon.)
Pikachu: Pika, pika. Pika. Pikachu.
Woman: Aw, yeah. Pika-pika-pika. He's adorable.
Pikachu: You're adorable. They can't understand me, kids.
Lincoln: It's us. It's that stuff that we put up our noses.
(The strangers get alarmed looks on their faces and briskly walk away.)
Lori: No, not like that. No, it was a gas. We were literally breathing gas.
Man: Hey, hey, hey.
(The strangers leave.)
Lori: Accidentally, We were accidentally-
Pikachu: Ix-nay on the gas-ay.
(Some police pass by.)
Pikachu: Unless you want Johnny Law to give you a one-way ticket to hoosegow, let's move.
(They keep walking down the street through various stalls.)
Lynn: (Yelling) No one else can hear him?
Pikachu: This is a first for me too, kid.
Luan: He's saying words.
Pikachu: Try to talk to people all the time. All they hear is "Pika-pika." They pat me, they kiss me, they stick a finger in me, it's really gross.
Leni: Can no one else hear him?
Lincoln: Can you hear him talking?
Lana: Do you hear him saying words?
(Pikachu picks up a dumpling from a stall as they pass.)
Pikachu: What are you not getting here, kids? You're the only one who can hear me! It's like destiny.
Lucy: It's not destiny.
Pikachu: Then why were you in that apartment?
Lincoln: It's our grandfather's place. That's why we were there.
(Pikachu gets a serious look and drops his dumpling.)
Lincoln: Why were you there?
Pikachu: You're Albert's grandkids?
(They all stop walking)
Lincoln: How do you know his name?
(Pikachu takes off his hat and hands it to Lincoln. Inside is a label with Albert's name.)
Lincoln: You're Pop-pop's Pokemon Partner?
Leni: But did Pop-pop's Pokemon partner died along with him.
Lucy: He did Leni.
Lola: Then how he is alive?
Pikachu: You want a coffee?
(Pikachu takes his hat back and begins walking again.)
Pikachu: Cause I could use a coffee. I mean, that's a… Yeah, let's get a coffee. Yeah, come on.
(The Louds stands for a moment and looks around)
Lori: This literally can't be happening.
Lincoln: Something tells is happening.
