Prologue

The day she died; was the day she was reborn again.

However, like all great queens, they were princesses.

Born into a royal bloodline, educated in etiquette, language, and literature, and have rare hobbies.

Sadly, that was not the life she had lived.

A little five-year-old girl had grown up in the tower.

Brief visitors, threaten her life if there is a word of treason.

She had survived the reign of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and now she is under a new king. King Viserys I Targaryen has now taken the crown in the succession votes by powerful lords of the seven kingdoms.

She had hoped that she would be able to leave the tower, but it seems that King Viserys did not.

'Did he forget about me? Did he hope that I would starve to death to avoid being called a tyrant?' The young girl thought to herself.

It took her to figure out that there is a reason why she was locked in this tower. She is Maegor the Cruel's last line.

It turns out Maegor had secretly wedded a kitchen maid that is a true beauty that charmed him. He figured that if none of his noble wives could give him an heir. Perhaps, common blood will.

That kitchen gave birth to teens, a boy, and a girl. During the final battle when Maegor the Cruel was killed and King Jaehaerys won the crown.

The maid queen as people had called her. She was the only one who knew the passage through every castle and red keep had created a haven for her children. Where they could catch fish through their nets at night and where the cave by the ocean. The mother and daughter had created pieces of clothing that no one would notice was missing.

The Maid Queen loved her son and daughter and would do anything to stay alive.

However, one night while the maid queen was taking care of her daughter in the bed where they made and rested.

The Kingsguard had found them.

They were brought forth by the king and queen in the dead of night. Her son was beaten and tied up.

The maid queen held her daughter in fear of retaliation. The Maid Queen pleaded and begged to spare her children. For they are her love and treasure that she cannot live without.

She even offered her own life instead of them.

However, her daughter announced a prophecy, "You killed us. A curse will fall upon the murderer's line. Your line, King Jaehaerys. Your sons and their sons will die. Your wife Queen Alysanne will suffer from losing her sons and grandsons. She will only comfort daughters who will be barren and inherit the crown with sons. No heirs shall ever come from your daughters as well."

Her daughter was a dreamer. She spoke through an eerie prophecy. The curse entailed that the person responsible would lose all of their male descendants until only (mostly barren) girls could inherit.

The daughter confessed that their grandmother Queen Visenya married them in Targaryen ceremonies. Also, she is carrying her brother/husband's child.

King Jaehaerys stood up all night. He paced and paced around his study over the curse. He even dreamed a horrible dream.

All he saw was his son's death. His daughters wept in tears and suffered their empty wombs. And all that is left is his throne room filled and soaked with the blood of Maegor the Cruel's children.

In order to prevent such a curse upon his family. He decided not to order their deaths, but if they died under normal circumstances perhaps the curse could be avoided.

In his decisions, he orders that the male Targaryen shall join the Night's Watch and regain glory and honor in defending the realm.

And the daughter who is pregnant shall be confined in the madienvault with the Maid Queen.

The Maid Queen held her son tight before they forcibly took him away from his mother and sister/wife. He shouted out, "Name! What is our child's name?!"

His sister/wife shouted, "Caessana! Our daughter is Princess Caessana Targaryen!"

As time went by King Jaehaerys waited and hoped that the curse would not happen to them. However, cruel as the wise king wanted it.

His wish came true.

The daughter of Maegor the Cruel had died from childbirth. Only a daughter was born as predicted in the future.

The Maid Queen had outlived her daughter in three years. Some say a broken heart.

Her son at the wall had died recently when Princess Caessana just turned four.

The poor princess is now the last of her family. The princess had to understand what was going on. Her childhood was always filled with court intrigue, danger, and risk.

'I had hope that my new life would be different. But instead, I must choose my choice of weapon.' The princess thought as tears shed down her cheeks.

The young princess looked out the window as they cheered for their new king Viserys Targaryen along with his daughter, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, and queen consort Aemma Arryn who is currently pregnant.

"It would appear that I must trust myself." Princess Caessana Targaryen wipes away her tears. A true queen must never shed any tears. "God has given me strength when I rule his country and mothered his people. I was a once powerful queen of my realm."

She went to her mirror to get a clear look at herself. Her silvery moon hair is beautiful, her eyes are like amethyst, and her skin is frail, but not sickly.

"Let's see what Princess Caessana Targaryen can do for her life to survive."

Princess Caessana Targaryen, descendant blood of Maegor the Cruel and Queen Visenya Targaryen. But she thanked her beloved grandmother, The Maid Queen for giving her love that she will never forget for all her life.

However, her soul and life belong to herself. She recalls the beloved people who loved and praised her name.

She was The Virgin Queen", "Good Queen Bess" and "Gloriana". She was Elizabeth I Queen of England.

She will survive.

In history, Princess Caessana Targaryen was previously a forgotten princess like her descendants Queen Daenerys I house of Targaryen. She will tell everyone the story of how she survives the court of schemers, rumors, and traitors. But just like Queen Elizabeth I in her previous life who came close in pulling plots and aiming for her life. They ended up beheaded while she survived. Princess Caessana did everything she could to stay alive while others lost their life by the sword.

Princess Caessana Targaryen's motto was Fidelitas usque ad mortem would mean "loyalty until death". It serves as an example that for a Targaryen princess she must remain loyal to her maternal line, but also someday would be loyal to her husband line.

In history, she went from the forgotten princess, close sister to princess Rhaenyra, governess to King Viserys prince Baelon and his twin sister.

But she played the role of the most important.

She claimed the most beautiful and powerful dragon they had ever seen.

The Good Queen Alysanne Targaryen's dragon.

Silverwings was proof that Princess Caessana Targaryen was destined to be queen.
