Who Let Bokuto Drive?

So, here we are, another random ficlet... This idea kind of popped into my head after thinking about the concept of emergency pizzas. lol.
Well, enough of that, please enjoy!

One normal training camp evening, everyone was peacefully filing into the dining room for dinner, happily chattering as they found their seats.

"I'm so hungry, I could eat a hippo!" Hinata groaned, flopping into his chair. Sho's comment quickly followed, "I'm so hungry, I could eat Lev!"

"Hey!"

Laughing followed this comment when suddenly Kiyoko walked out of the kitchen.

"Um, we have a problem..."

Everything quieted down and Daichi asked, "What is it?"

Kiyoko answered, "We don't have enough food to cook for everyone..."

More silence, and then a wild call that was taken up by many:

"PIZZA!"

"Okay." Suga laughed, "That works, who's going to go get it?"

"We will!" Bokuto and Kuroo said at the same time, struggling to get out of their seats and stand up to leave.

"Bokuto-san."

Bokuto and Kuroo turned around to face Akaashi, his stormy blue eyes fixed upon the pair, looking tired.

"Shouldn't you take orders first?"

They looked at each other, "Oh right." Said Bokuto and just like that, they both went around collecting orders. When they were finally finished, they whooped and rushed to the door.

Daichi and Suga looking up in alarm.

"Um, someone should go with them." Suga spoke and Akaashi sighed, "I'll go. Tsukishima?"

Tsukishima looked up as if his name had just dropped from the sky, "What?"

Akaashi motioned to the door, "Would you like to come? I think I may need some help with... the captains..." he finished, and Tsukishima rubbed his temples before reluctantly agreeing, "Alright, I'll come."

They headed outside, Akaashi hoping they hadn't already left and was deeply relieved to see them fighting over who would drive.

"You always drive! I have a license too you know!"

"Yeah, but Bokuto, owls are famous for not being able to drive!"

"Well, I've never seen a cat drive!"

Both boys watching the scene sighed, one in weariness, the other in annoyance.

"Can you just get in the car? It isn't getting any earlier." Tsukishima's harsh tone brought the chaotic pair back to reality. Kuroo smirked, "Ah ha, is Tsukki grumpy cause he's hungry?"

"Shut up and leave me alone." The blond snapped back and turned to see if Akaashi was going to get in the car but stopped when he saw a look of dread cross the setter's face.

"Akaashi-san?

"... Kuroo..." Kuroo looked up to see where Akaashi was pointing, not needing much help because a honk and loud laughter was all he needed to confirm his suspicions.

"NOOOOO!" Kuroo scrambled into the shotgun seat and stared wide and teary eyed at the ace, "Bokuto how could you?!"

The ace laughed again as Tsukishima shoved Akaashi into the car, "Oh come on, sit back and enjoy!"

Tsukishima glanced at Akaashi one more time before buckling up, wondering why he had turned a pale shade of green.

No sooner had Bokuto pulled out of the driveway then Tsukishima had figured out why Kuroo and Akaashi had looked so sick.

Bokuto was a maniac.

"Bo! The mailbox!" Kuroo called out as Bokuto swerved violently onto the road, narrowly avoiding the mailbox, his bellowing laughter filling the car as Tsukishima peeled himself from the window.

"Oh my god, Bokuto-san, slow down!" the blond shouted in a panic, absolutely certain he was not going to survive this car trip.

"Aw come Tsukki! Live a little! We'll be fine." Bokuto called back, not letting up on the gas even slightly while he spoke. The car bumped up and down and Tsukishima groaned when he saw the next turn coming.

"I can't look." he said as he squeezed his eyes shut and held onto the safety bar on the roof of the car for dear life.

The tires squealed and the smell of burning rubber entered the group's nostrils as they sheered through yet another turn, this time throwing Tsukishima to the left, into Akaashi, who wasn't looking to good when they managed to sit up right again.

"'Kaashi, you good?" Kuroo glanced back from his seat, only looking slightly less pale then the two in the back. The setter only replied with a burp as he white fisted the handlebar and the chair's edge.

"Ugh, I feel you…" Kuroo groaned before his eyes went wide again, "Bokuto, people, slow down! You're gonna hit em!"

Bokuto grinned as he stuck his tongue out in concentration, jerking the wheel to the left and pulling into a side road. Turning back onto the main road only seconds later.

Tsukishima watched outside the car window with a horrified expression, shouting once again at the ace, in hopes that maybe he would listen, "We're going to get pulled over and arrested for this, you know that right?!"

Bokuto, however, did not respond, possibly not having heard him over the sound of the engine revving or the wind whipping past.

When they finally neared their destination, then, only then did the ace ease up on the gas pedal. Still going too fast for his passengers' taste, but a hundred times better than it had been.

The car wheeled around, coming to a final jarring stop and nearly breaking the others' necks for the last time before Bokuto turned off the engine and happily stepped out of the car as if nothing had happened.

"Come on guys, let's get that pizza! People are waiting!"

"Ulp…" Kuroo stumbled out of the car, pulling open Tsukishima's door before muttering, "I don't think I can even LOOK at pizza after that…"

"Ugh…" the blond pinched the bridge of his nose, adjusting his glasses as they walked over to the other side of the car. Kuroo pulled open Akaashi's side of the door before offering the pale man a hand.

The setter stepped out of the car, stumbled, and threw up all over the driveway.

"Oooo…" Kuroo turned to Tsukishima, who was trying to look away, as if avoiding mimicking the setter's actions, "I guess he's not in the mood for pizza either." Kuroo commented.

The blond gagged, "I swear, you say that word one more time, I'll puke on YOU."

"Eww. No. Come on 'Kaashi, we're still on a mission." Kuroo and Tsukishima helped the poor raven up, handing him a pack of tissues as they made their way to the pizzeria, hoping Bokuto hadn't wreaked havoc yet.

The bell that hung from the front of the door chimed pleasantly as the three bedraggled teens slumped into the room, quickly being greeted by Bokuto, "Hey guys! What took you so long?"

The ace, however, seemed oblivious to the glares he received and sniffed the air, "Doesn't it smell great in here? Kuroo, do you have the list?"

Kuroo sighed and handed Bokuto the piece of paper, sniffing the air hesitantly as he did.

"Well, I guess I'm recovering because it does smell pretty good." Kuroo smirked before frowning and snatching the list back from the ace, "Oh no you don't, I'll take that."

"Hey!" he cried indignantly before looking around the small cozy room in confusion as Kuroo spoke to the cashier.

"Hey, Kuroo, where'd Akaashi and Tsukki go?"

Kuroo began laughing, "Outside. Their stomachs couldn't handle the sweet aroma of pizza yet."

"Huh. I wonder why?"

Kuroo deadpanned, deciding to just focus on the pizza and not on the blissfully ignorant ace.

Once all the varieties of pizza had been ordered and received, the pair of third years stepped out of the pizzeria, receiving some strange glances from other customers as they did.

They found the disheveled duo in the car, sitting in the backseats, playing a game of travel chess that they had discovered under one of the chairs.

Kuroo popped open the back of the car to dump the multitude of boxes in the trunk. "How are you two doing?" he questioned, a smirk playing on his teasing complexion.

Tsukishima glared and Akaashi frowned, "You have no right to laugh, Kuroo-san, you were just as pale." The setter countered and Kuroo shrugged, "Well, I'll be driving the way back anyways so-"

*HONK HONK*

The three exchanged mortified looks before slowly glancing up at the driver's seat.

"NOOOOOO!"

"Hahahaha! Buckle up guys!"

****~(^.^)~**** (One wild, human and pizza tumbling ride later…)

*Clack*

The door to the dining room opened and Bokuto waltzed in, happily carrying the bulk of the load while Kuroo stumbled behind him, carrying a couple of pizzas, only looking slightly pale as he grinned,

"Pizza delivery!" they both smirked and the room filled with cheers, hungry players quickly digging into the delicious, long-awaited, mouth-watering treat. Halfway through the meal, Tsukishima and Akaashi finally made their appearances.

"Whoa, Tsukifima, whaf haffend do you?" Hinata questioned the sickly looking blond with a mouth full of pizza.

Akaashi and Tsukishima took one look at the food before they both fled the room, causing many confused glances from their teammates.

Daichi looked with concern, "Are they okay?" but raised an eyebrow when Kuroo doubled over with laughter, "Yeah, they'll be fine, they just have to recover." He choked and Hinata and Lev looked at each other:

"Recover from what, Kuroo-san?" Lev asked, causing another fit of laughter from the rooster headed captain.

"Bokuto's driving."

"…"
