It's finally time. After many years of searching, Ciel Phantomhive is finally holding the dead body of the person responsible for all of his suffering. He's holding peaces of the broken shell that doesn't even look like it belonged to a human ones. His hands were full of blood, so full that that it was spilling out of them, staining is clothes. But the boy didn't care. He watched when this man let out his last breath, and the only thing he could do is smile. He smiled as tears rolled down his cheeks, but these weren't sad tears. These were the tears of a child who's years of burden finally fell of his back. The tears of a boy who was forced out of his childhood. The child who finally felt alive. Whell almost.

He looked behind to see his butler. The only person that was there for him. The only creature in this world that he trusted. The only one worthy of his soul. The demon's darkness shined bright with the evening sun. Showing one of his rare, warm smiles. This made the boy smile even wider. The further they went from that place, the happier the boy felt.

When they came to visit lady Elisabeth, the boy didn't complain about his fiancee's bear hugs, he let them in, hugging his fiancée the strongest he ever did in his life. And when they left, he only whispered few soft words..." I love you "

When they went to visit prince Soma the boy let him in his life. For the first time in his life he saw the prince as something more then some annoying bratty man-child, leaving him as a friend.

He didn't mind the uselessness of his servant. In fact, he enjoyed all the screaming in the house. The sound that used to irritate him so much now was almost enjoyable, he didn't mind the sound of his servants apologetic screams as it made the boy feel cared about, he listened to their laughter enjoying the nice melody they made. Till this day, he never realised just how alive his mansion really was...

He even let his guard down with Sebastian, swallowing his pride, he let the demon know just how emotional he really was. His voice wasn't as sharp and strong like before, but soft and calm, talking to the demon not like to a servant, but to a dear friend he cares the most about. Sebastian also let out his true personality, which Ciel actually liked better. The boy just loved the wildness of his demon. The demon was the sassiest, funniest, the coolest creature he ever saw. They spend most of the time telling stories to earchother. Sebastian told him about his past masters, and crazy stories he had with them and he as talking in such a way that every story was funnier then the last one. At some point the boy couldn't take it anymore, first it came out as a giggle, getting lauder and louder by seconds, at some point the boy was laughing so hard he almost fell from his seat. To some random people the laugh wouldn't be anything special, sounding just like any other, but to Sebastian, who has never heard his master laugh before, even after many attempts, this beautiful sound was like a long waited desert, in a form of a beautiful song. It left the demon in a sock for few seconds, before giving him a warm feeling of content which he couldn't understand the source.

At the end of the day Ciel was sitting on a bench near the lake, a secret spot in the forest he and his brother found as kids. He looked at the night sky, with the moonlight covering his face, he could feel the stomped grass he and his brother used to run on, he could hear the teething of the river he and his brother used to play at, he could sense his brother's hug around his neck and hear the laugh of 2 little boys this place kept.

He could also feel the dark essence of his demon behind him, but he didn't mind, he knew why he was there, and he wasn't afraid. He could never be afraid of this demon, not after everything he has done for him. And It's not like there was something to be afraid of, the demon admitted long ago that he didn't tell him the whole truth, the boy wouldn't disappear, and everything was better then that so...

"Are you ready my lord", the demon whispered, his voice was deeper then usual, echoing through the air. There was a slight sound of uncertainty in his voice but only for a moment, the next, it was gone. The boy turned to look at the demon, untying his eye patch, looking at him with his shiny blue eyes, waiting for his death. The demon send clouds of darkness all around the boy, letting his true form show. His skin had some kind of dark-greyish colour, his hair was as dark as the night sky, he had huge bat wings that had some black feathers attached to them. The boy probably wouldn't see him anymore if there wasn't for his glowing red eyes and his long horns that held that same light. To Ciel, the demon looked absolutely beautiful. He put Ciel's head on his knees, holding it with one, and putting the hand with the contract on Ciel's eye. Ciel saw that the pentagram on the demons hand started to glow, and guessed his eye did the same as he felt the same feeling as the one he felt when he gave Sebastian orders, It's just that this time, glowing came with a little pain in boy's eye. He felt as he was getting tiered, lighter and sleepier by every passing second. They were just standing there
