(XXX) Five Minutes to Win and Escape

The explosion was powerful enough that it send Plue off the edge of the arena and falling down bellow.

"Now do you understand?" Shuda asked. "Stopping my shadow stone is impossible. And as beat up as you are, you won't be using explosion anytime soon. You're finished."

Haru tried to move forward but nearly collapsed.

"Finally going to throw in the towel? There's no way you can win now." Shuda summoned another explosive sphere around Haru. "Good-bye Haru Glory, son of Gale."

I'll only have a moment, Exactly when the explosion happens… my last chance, Haru thought then shouted. "Silfarion!"

Haru's sword turned to sonic mode and Haru escaped the explosion and at Shuda at impossible speeds.

"Wh-What? That was fast!" Shuda responded.

"High Speed Silfarion!" Haru shouted as he slashed through Shuda at high speed.

"Gaaaaaaaah!" Shuda dropped. "Y-you rode the blast of wind from my explosion,"

Haru collapsed but Shuda held his ground and run on top of Haru with his sword. "Oh no, you don't! This isn't finished!"

Shuda stabbed the top part of one of Haru's shoulder causing him to scream in pain.

"I am not going to lose. Not ever again. And not to another Glory."

"What?" Haru responded. "You fought with my dad?"

"A long time ago. And Now I can tell you…" Shuda said. "I wasn't really after the Rave Stones. I wanted to beat the man I lost to before. I wanted to have the confidence that I could beat someone from the same family as Gale. I swore I wouldn't lose this time"

"Isn't my dad still alive?" Haru asked.

…

Down bellow something in the ship activated, alerting everyone.

"Something just happened," Elie responded.

"What?" Naruto responded.

"She's right," Musica said. "But what?"

"I don't know. I couldn't see," Elie responded.

They looked into the hole of the ship and saw Plue down there.

"Oh, it's Plue!" Elie responded.

"Master Plue!" Griffon responded.

"What's going on?" Musica responded

"Wait, why is Plue crying?" Naruto responded.

Plue turned to them and sure enough was crying. Then in the chamber where Plue was at, the computer said, "Seven minutes until self destruct."

"Self-destruct! Seriously?" Naruto responded.

Musica jumped into the chamber. "I can't believe such a small shock triggered the self-destruct program! What a lame ship!"

"What are you doing Musica?" Elie asked.

"I'm going to try to cancel it!" Musica responded before tossing the phone to Naruto. "Naruto, call my buddies! Hebi is 004 on speed dial."

"Ah, okay," Naruto said, "Can't be that hard." Naruto hit the buttons for 004.

"Puun. Puun!" Plue cried.

"Don't worry. It's not your fault. More important are you hurt?" Musica asked as he tried to hack the computer."

"Puun!" Plue said, as though reassuring he was fine.

"Hey is this Hebi? I'm Naruto, calling in for Musica," Naruto said.

"This place is going to explode! Help us!" Ellie cried over the phone.

"Hey, don';t say that to him!" Musica responded, "Naruto hand me back the phone."

"Sure." Naruto handed back the phone.

"Hebi? It's me Musica," Musica greeted.

"Oh Musica. Who was those people?"

"Never mind that. Write down these coordinates: T-JSC2929. Can you get here in five minutes from where you are now?"

"Are you for real? Even if I totally haul, it'll take 20 minutes!"

"Please! 5 minutes! I'll be waiting!" Musica hanged up.

…

Shuda pulled his sword out of Haru. "My only reason for living was to beat Gale. I can change all that by destroying you." Shuda aimed his sword for Haru's chest as he try to stretch his good arm out for his sword. "I can have absolute confidence! Die!" Shuda swing his sword down.

Haru grabbed his sword and blocked Shuda's attack. "I'm not going to die!"

Shuda backed away. I am not going to lose. Not to you. Not to your family."

"I'm sorry man. But I'm not taking a dive." Haru said as he got up. "It's not because I have to win…It's because I'm the rave master!" Haru swiped his sword as it went explosion form and exploded

Im-impossible! He shouldn't have been able to use explosion, Shuda thought as he started to collapsed. Is this his hidden strength! To keep fighting no matter how hurt or bruised he is? He's just like his father!.

Shuda tried to stop himself but missed the invisible edge. I…I lost my footing. I can't believe it…how disappointing Shuda thought as he fell.

"Shuda!" Haru yelled as he grabbed Shuda's arm from the edge.

"What are you trying to do, Haru?" Shuda asked.

"Just hold on…I'll help you up!" Haru responded. "I don't care who you are… I won't see another person die!"

Shuda was in complete shock, thinking that Haru wouldn't be able to move and passed his limits.

"Haru Glory, huh? What an admirable young man," Shuda said. "I lost."

Using his sword Shuda started cutting the hand Haru was holding off.

"Stop it!" Haru said.

"Haru, I've realized that the warrior this world needs right now… is a man like you, Haru. Go your own path the none that you believe in."

"Shuda!" Haru responded

"Be a man like your father. No matter what happens, never give up!" With that Shuda cut clean through his own arm and fell to the ground bellow. "Shuda!"

…

"Five minutes until self-destruct."

Naruto and Elie joined Musica in the room as the ship started rattling.

"Musica, hurry up! This place is starting to rattle!" Elie said.

"I know, but…Dang, this is a tough code." Musica responded. "I can't disable the protection."

"Hello, Musica, may I give it a try?" Griff asked.

"You know about this stuff?" Musica asked as Griff jumped onto the control panel.

"Well… I've never touched a computer in my life," Griff said.

"Now is not the time to start!" Musica said as Griff started hitting buttons. "What button are you pushing?"

"Hey, can I try too?" Elie asked.

"This isn't a game!" Musica responded.

"Puun!" Plue waved his hand.

"Not you too?!" Musica responded.

"I think Plue is pointing at something in the sky," Naruto said as he looked up.

That's when they notice Haru was falling.

"Haru!" Musica and Elie responded.

Naruto jumped onto the top of the ship and manage to catch Haru and the Rave sword.

Naruto landed back in the hole.

"Nice catch, Naruto!" Musica said.

"Thanks."

"He looks awful," Elie said.

"That kid doesn't know the meaning of the words 'easy win'." Musica responded. "Hey! Get up! What happened to Shuda? Haru!"

"He's out cold," Naruto said.

"I guess you're right," Musica responded. "But he is pretty badly wounded. Elie, give him some first aid treatment."

Sure."

With Griff holding the first aid, Elie wrapped Haru like a mummy.

"I'll make you better! You'll be fine!"

"He's injured Elie, not a mummy," Griff responded.

Meanwhile Musica got back to work with the computer.

"Uh folks, we've got bigger problems right now. There's something strange about this code. There's no reason for a calculation code be so complex." Musica continued typing and got a response. "It couldn't be."

"What?" Naruto asked.

"This is bad! We've been tricked! There's no way to override the program!" Somebody is changing the code in real time, so it's impossible to break. It's a trap!"

"Are you serious?" Naruto responded.

"Who would do that?" Elie asked.

…Elsewhere…

Rugar was laughing. "This is what you get for calling me a goon! I'm gonna wipe out everything! Everything!"

…

"It's no use. There's no way we can get out of here in two minutes. If only I realize this sooner! It's over."

"No its' not," Haru said getting up. "Not yet. Don't give up."

"Haru!" Elie responded.

"Hey man!" Naruto responded.

"We're still alive. We won't die in a place like this," Haru said.

"Beginning one minute count down until self destruct."

"Don't give up. We'll get out of this…" Haru said.

Look at him, beat up to a pulp, and Haru won't give up, Musica thought and clenched his fist. "All right! We're getting outta here. If we give up, it's all over."

"I'm right behind you!" Naruto responded.

Naruto and Musica helped Haru up as they along with Elie Griff and Plue searched for away out.

"Musica! There's a room filled with planes," Haru said.

"A hangar! Of course! This is a battle ship!"

They found hangar but only found one plane. But with everyone in it the plane was over weighed. It didn't stop Musica to get the plane started and out of the battle ship just before it exploded.

Only problem was that they were going down.

"This isn't good!" Naruto said.

"I don't know about you, but I feel like going up," Griff said.

"Go up you piece of junk!" Musica yelled as Elie screamed.

Just then a set of clamps caught them before they hit the ground. The clamps were attached to an airship from above them.

"Silver Rhythm Airship reporting for duty, Musica!" a voice came from the air ship.

"Hey guys! You're late, but good to see you guys. Thank you," Musica responded.

"All right! Escape mission complete!" Elie cheered.

But Haru wasn't in a cheerful mood as he thought back to Shuda's last words.

A/N: Although 'Rave Master Naruto' was the winning story of this month, taking advantage of there being 30 days in November, I'm spending half the days of November working on this story and the other half working on another series I recently started 'Blue Plague Nine-Tail Fox's Son'. It's a crossover of my cannon 'The Nine-Tail Fox's Son, starting after Naruto talked to Nagato, and a book series I took a liking to 'The Blue Plague' series that I requested to have a category on this site.

I already completed 'Blue Plague's Nine-Tail Fox's Son: The Fall' and now working on 'Blue Plague's Nine-Tail Fox's Son: The Survival' The reason I want to keep working on the stories is because The Blue Plague series is new to , and by crossing it over with a popular fanfiction I posted I hope to boost awareness of the series now on this site for those who read the series and help the author and his wife-who I am in contact with on facebook-by boosting the series' sales by boosting awareness of the series.

But be warn, DON'T let the kids to read 'Blue Plague' series.
