(XXXI) Meeting with The King of Shadow Guard
At the most northern point of Hardcore mountain range was the Shadow Guard HQ of the area.
Inside, in one of the rooms, a woman with red wavy long hair was trying to change clothes when there was ruckus outside the door
"Quiet! I'm trying to get changed."
"I don't care. Just hurry it up, Woman."
"What do you want? You want me to come out there naked!"
"N-no!"
"What is it? What does the king want?"
""I'm afraid Shuda's been eliminated! He was actually beaten!" the man at the other side of the door shouted.
"By the second Rave Master and his blonde friend?"
"Unfortunately. We should have a meeting immediately to plan out our counter measure."
"Hmm…"
"What do you mean 'Hmm'? King is waiting for you! The last thing we need is to upset him!"
The door opened and the red-head came out. "Well, well, look's like our turn then." The woman was Reina, a shadow guard general and one of the Oracion Six.
…
In another worm a man was commanding his dragon to land as Reina entered.
"Welcome back. It been a while Jegan." Reina greeted her fellow general and member of the Oracion Six.
Jegan looked at her silently.
"Hey! You could at least say hello!" Reina shouted. "You never change! That dragon is your only friend!"
"Hmph," Jegan headed to the door.
"Hey! Are you ignoring me? How rude! At least give me something?" Reina responded. "Hey! Wait up! I'm going in too! It's cold!"
Jegan was forced to deal with Reina as she walk next to him and continue talking.
"Imagined Shuda was so weak! I mean to get killed by two kids. I'm embarrassed that he was ever part of the Oracion Six. I'd never fall to those runts." Reina then noticed the sword Jegan was wielding.
"That sword is huge! Isn't it a pain to carry around all the time? You can't even put it in a sheath. And it's all dirty and black."
Jegan turned to Reina who smiled then turned away.
"Man, what is it with you? You make me sick! You don't even pay attention to anyone but your beast!" Reina complained.
Jegan swipe his sword right down next to Reina.
"You are remarkably irritating." Jegan finally said.
"My, my… what a temper. I hate men like that." Reina said as the two stare intensely at each other."
"That's enough!" Shouted a new voice.
They turned to see a tall man with markings over one eye and medium length blue spiky hair.
"Sieg hart," Reina responded.
"Humans have only a limited time left on this earth. Don't waste it." Sieg Hart said.
Jegan remain quiet.
"What a surprise. I don't ever recall seeing you here at headquarters. Did King summon you?" Reina asked.
"Yeah. What about the other Oracion Six? We haven't heard anything from the other three." Sieg Hart noted. "Hmm…well no big deal let's get going. King does not look kindly on tardiness."
"Too true…" Reina agreed.
They reached the room of where they met their leader—the king.
"Welcome, my friends. You may be at ease!" A voice said from a high indoor balcony in the room. "I have called you here to discuss Shuda. He failed to retrieve the Rave and his careless actions allowed him to be defeated by the Rave Master and his friend. While I accept that it was in part of my over extension of Shuda that allowed his fall, what's done is done. Regardless of fault, loosing one of our executives is a terrible loss for the Shadow Guard. I've been observing this second rave master Haru Glory, and his blonde spiky hair friend Naruto Uzumaki, and both alone are danger to shadow guard. One of the three of you shall destroy these two. Decide amongst yourself."
"Reina, you're the perfect person for the job," Sieg Hart said.
"Huh? Me?" Reina responded. "I don't wann a fight with those runts! It's beneath me! Besides, I'm the Shadow Guard's last weapon! Right King?"
There was no answer from the king.
"You can do it, can't you? Besides, you already came all this way to headquarters when you almost never do," Reina said to Sieg Hart. "Don't you think you should use this chance to show your loyalty to King!"
"I refuse. There's something I have to do," Sieg Hart replied. "I have to find someone."
"Oooh, could it be a woman?" Reina asked giggling. "I didn't know a man like you bothered with such things."
"It's not a woman.
"Hmmm? But you have an ex-girlfriend out there somewhere, don't you."
"No."
There was a crashing sound like a heavy sword hitting the ground from the balcony.
"Silence! Can't you even make a simple decision?" The king demanded from the shadows. "Elemental Master Sieg Hart! You will go! That's an order!"
"Wha…? Sieg Hart responded.
"Oooh…" Reina responded with a giggle.
"But I—!" Sieg Hart stopped as he knew the king was looking at him threateningly. "Understood. I will crush the Rave Master with my own hands!" Sieg Hart responded as he thought, And then you're next king.
Meeting end and Reina and Jegan left. Sieg Hart was the last to leave only for Reina to be waiting for him outside the room.
"Hey Sieg Hart, about that woman…" Reina said.
"I have no intention of talking about it with you," Sieg Hart responded.
"That's too bad. I love a good romance story," Reina responded.
"How many times do I have to tell you? The person I'm looking for isn't that kind of woman."
"So it is a woman!" Reina responded. "I bet you'll have a tearful reunion. Hold each other in your arms… Ahh, I can see it already."
"When I find this woman, I'm going to kill her," Siege Hart interrupted.
"What?" Reina responded.
"At long last, I will kill woman 3173," Sieg Hart said.
