(XXXII) The Symphonia Museum
At the largest city of Song Continent known as experiment, Haru, Elie, Musica Naruto, Griff, and Plue were taking a short break after getting two Raves and escaping Rhapsoda.
Several days had passed and Haru was healing well considering how badly injured he was. Now Haru and Plue were looking out the window of their hotel room into the city.
This place is amazing. There's so many people and buildings." Haru said.
"Puun."
"I wonder how much bigger it is than Garage Island." Haru wondered out loud. "Home…I kinda miss it. I wonder how sis is doing?"
Plue dropped to the floor, took his candy and broke the top half and offered the bottom half to Haru.
"You're gonna give me half?" Haru asked.
"Puun."
"You did the same thing when I first met you," Haru remembered.
That when the candy shattered into pieces all over the floor. Plue tried to gather it up and repair it.
"What are you doing?" Haru asked.
Plue showed him the candy he tried to repair causing Haru to laugh as he picked Plue up. "You really are strange, dude. Thanks for cheering me up, Plue."
"Haru!"
Haru looked out the window to see Elie and Naruto.
"Welcome back guys!" Haru greeted.
Elie and Naruto came up into the room.
"Lookie! Lookie!" Elie showed a Casino card.
"What's that?" Haru asked.
"A casino member's card!" Elie said. "See? It even has my name on it!"
"Good for you," Haru responded.
"I got one too," Naruto said holding out his.
"Naruto was lucky, he won his on one go. I had to play 5000 many games," Elie said. "Musica's losing at poker right now."
"You don't say…" Haru sweat dropped.
"Come on! I won a lot, so let me take you to dinner."
"Sounds good," Naruto said.
"Alright."
They went to the restaurant, but Elie immediately lost hers so. Naruto ended paying the meal.
"We can backtrack and try to find it," Haru said when they were done.
"Oh, don't worry about it!" Elie said. "I can get another one if I win again tomorrow."
"Come on guys, lets meet up with Musica and go to the beach." Naruto said.
"Yeah!" They agreed.
…
Naruto Haru and Elie manage to convince Musica to leave the poker game he was losing to go to the beach. Naruto had used his casino card to buy himself brand new orange swim trunks with black flames on the bottom. Elie on other hand took longer to get ready.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Elie said as she arrived in a string-tied bikini.
"You're so slow, Elie."
"Why does it take you so long to just change your clothes?" Musica asked. He and Haru looked at Elie and turned red with blush. Not only that but every man on the beach was staring at her.
"Does it look all right?" Elie asked.
"Yeah…" Haru said.
"Looks great!" Naruto said.
"It's perfect!" Musica said
"I'm kinda embarrassed," Elie said noticing the men looking at her. "Why all the guys staring at me?"
"Well, you do have a nice body!" Musica said.
"Shut up! You're making it worse!" Elie responded.
At least Pervy Sage isn't here, he probably thinks he's in heaven if he saw her, Naruto thought of Jiriaya in a perverted grin and possible nosebleed.
Elie Plue and Griff went into the water. Plue couldn't swim so he uses a round tube to stay afloat as they play with a beach ball.
"Okay, Plue, let's give it a try!" Elie shouted.
"Puun."
"Good luck, Master Plue!" Griff responded.
"Here it comes!" Ellie threw the ball.
Unfortunately, Plue's arms weren't long enough to catch the ball before it went through Plue's nose, popping it.
"Great job, Plue! Nice catch!" Elie congratulate Plue anyways.
"Elie, is this how you play with beach balls?" Griff asked.
"Well I guess it's a good thing I brought a rubber ball that Plue can't pop but still can catch with his nose," Naruto said holding up a big white rubber ball.
"Hey, thanks Naruto!" Elie responded.
On the beach, Haru and Musica were relaxing at the beach listening to the radio.
"Leave it to Naruto to somehow make things work," Haru said laughing.
"Yeah, tell me about it." Musica said.
"I know we're in the middle of a fight with the Shadow Guard. But it's nice and peaceful here," Haru said. "I heard there's a museum here that was built to commemorate peace. Maybe we should check it out."
"You mean the Symphonia Museum?" Musica asked. "Yeah, they've got all kinds of records and artifacts from the imperial war. Why do you want to go there?"
"Well, there might be some clues about the Rave."
"Don't bother. I've been there before. There's never anyone there. I think it's even going to close down. In fact, it probably is closed down by now."
"Oh… I guess we're going to have to find out where the Rave is the hard way."
Elie and Naruto got out of the beach to try and convince Haru and Musica to join them when they overheard the conversation.
"Hey! That place seems kinda neat. I wanna go see it."
"Not me, I'm not into stuff like that," Naruto said.
"Now look, it's no place to play around." Haru responded.
"I know! I just wanna go see it!"
…
Elie got her way and they went to museum, which was packed.
"See! It looks fun!"
"Wow! It's totally packed. Is this a festival or something?" Naruto asked.
"Hey Musica, I thought you said this place was supposed to be dulls ville. It's Jammin'!"
"Strange," Musica said.
"Maybe something happened that made the place popular," Naruto suggested.
"Let's check it out!" Elie responded.
They went inside and found exhibits and people everywhere with a desk at the entrance. They were greeted by a weird dude with a key tattoo on his forehead.
"Welcome to symphonia museum. You can purchase your entry ticket here."
"Hey, what's with the crowd? Last time I was here, it was like a ghost town." Musica responded.
"How observant of you. It's a true miracle! The world ain't the best place right now. Shadow guards are everywhere you go and you can't depend on the empire. The whole continent has been yammering about a savior who is going to rescue us from these unrighteous times."
"A savior?" Musica asked.
"Yes! A man who is going to stand up to the shadow guard and destroy the shadow stones! The second Rave Master."
Haru Musica and Elie were in shock, especially Haru, but Naruto moved his hands behind his head and closed his eyes.
"I don't know if he really exist or if it's all just rumors, but take a look. Thanks to all the gossip. Everyone's interested in war now! It doesn't matter if there's really a second rave master or not."
"Isn't this great, Haru! They all know about you now!"
"It's nothing but trouble." Haru responded.
"Well, maybe it'll at least help us out with the mystery." Musica looked around. "Man, a lot of people are expecting big things from you."
"…"
"Hang in there, Haru!" Elie said.
"I don't get why I have to be here. I don't even like museums," Naruto responded before noticing a large picture of a dark hair man with the Rave Sword. "Hey Haru! Check it out! This guy has your sword. It must be old man Shiba."
They looked and Haru was in shock.
"He looked that good when he was young?" Haru responded.
"He was the first Rave Master, right?" Musica asked.
"I thought you said you'd been here before. What were you looking at?" Haru asked.
"The women," Musica responded.
"I guess I'm not the only one not into museums," Naruto responded.
"Hey Haru… you're not going to believe this, but l-look!" Elie said pointing somewhere, looking rather pale.
There was a portrait of a dog with a horn.
"Says it's Plue!" Elie said.
"Puun!"
"Where the heck they get that idea from?" Naruto responded.
"And here you see a painting of the legendary dog, Plue. Not much is known about Plue, but experts theorized he look like this." Said a tour guide.
"They have no idea what they're talking about." Haru responded.
"Excuse me sir!" said the guy from the front desk.
"Aw snap, not you again." Haru responded.
"You forgot your change!" the man said.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" Elie apologized.
That's when the man noticed Haru's sword for the first time.
"That sword!" the man said as he started examining it. "It's a replica of the ten powers! It looks just like the real thing! Well, not that I've actually ever seen the real thing. Looks like you're really into Rave! You even name your strange little pet here after the legendary dog Plue."
"Yeah," Haru laughed nervously.
"I like you, boy! Why don't I take you for a personal tour?"
"I don't wanna be a pain," Haru said.
"No, no… it's no big deal."
"You really don't have to."
"Heh, heh, heh."
"Stop that laughing! It creeps me out!"
A/N: This is the last update for the night. Tomorrow I'm working on 'Blue Plague's Nine-Tail Fox's Son: The Survival' and Monday I'll be back on working on this story, then repeat. As you guys probably can tell that doesn't necessarily mean I'll work on one chapter and stop for the day. If I posted one chapter a day most of the time with the other story it's because those chapters are longer and take more time. Think of it this way, I might get more than fifteen chapters done this month, maybe even more than thirty since I been keeping the chapters of 'Rave Master Naruto' short.
