Reminder Rave Master Naruto started off before the time skip so Naruto only have the jutsus he knew prior to it. Nor does he have control over Kurama's chakra yet much less have befriended Kurama

(XLIII) Remi's Offer for Protection

Team Rave Master was taken to a large building that look like it had wings grown from the sides.

"So these are Lady Remi's digs?" Haru asked.

"Whoa! The Building's got wings! I wonder if it flies." Elie said.

"That would be cool," Naruto responded.

"I'm sure it's just for decoration, right Musica?" Griffin asked.

"How the heck would I know? I'm just along for the ride!" Musica said.

"YOu sure about this, Solasido... bringing strangers in to see Lady Remi?"

"Fua It'll be fine... Lady Remi herself has summoned them." Solasido said.

They entered the building and met a dark skin woman with dark hair at the throne.

"So you've finally arrived Rave Master the Second," she greeted. "I am the Lady Remi Maltese, the grandchild of Clea Maltese. One of the Four knights of the Blue Sky."

Fua and Solaido kneeled in front of Remi.

"Wow you're a babe, Lady Remi!"

"Honestly, I was expecting an old lady," Haru said.

"She's pretty young now, but in a few years..." Musica ended his sentence with mumbling.

"She could also be hiding her true age with some sort of transformation or illusion," Naruto said. "I knew someone like that."

"Co-come on, you guys. Show some respect and bow already, would you," Solaido said.

They reluctantly bowed.

"Haha!" Elie responded,

"Man this stinks." Haru complained.

"Why do I have to bow? I didn't bow for Grandma Tsunade or Old man Hokage," Naruto complained.

"Shush, and bow your head," Solasido told them.

"Hey. Lay off!" Musica argued.

"You may relax," Remi said.

"Young and cheeky," Musica responded.

"As you have already been told, the demonoids have set their sights on our city. I am afraid they seek the Rave of Combat I have in my possession," Remi said.

The team look at each other as the Rave of Combat was what they were looking for.

"In order to protect the Rave, we the people of Rabarrier built this underground city and put up a forcefield to guard it," Remi explained. "I feel terrible about putting my people through all this... I was sure our forcefield would ensure absolute safety, but alas nothing is perfect. Ever since the demonoids first breached the field and pinpointed our location the battles have raged but our warriors... They are so tired. In hindsight building our city underground was almost like digging our graves. We have no place to retreat... it's only a matter of time beforeo they take our last line of defense. Which brings us to you and why I summoned such strong warriors such as yourselves. Rave Master, ou must join forces with Solasido and Fua and the other Holy Knights of the Force field. You must end this long war... you must wipe out the demonoids once and for all."

"I 'must'? Geez sister, who do you think you are?" Haru asked.

"Yeah, what she said," Musica said.

"I got no problem," Naruto replied.

"Naruto, you were just complaining about having to bow to her," Musica said.

"She's concern about her people, nothing wrong with that," Naruto said. "Come on Haru, if this was Garage Island you wouldn't hesitate to help."

"Fine," Haru signed. "Just gimme the Rave first."

"I cannot. Not yet," Remi said.

"Why not? We can use it to protect your town!" Naruto argued.

"Everything has a price... I wondered what hers was?" Musica said.

"The safety of her town?" Naruto pointed out.

"I simply cannot relinquish the rave," Remi explained.

"Hey, hey! Question!" Elie called waving her hand. "Do those monsters have anything to do with SG?"

"SG?" Haru asked.

"She's talking about the Shadow Guard," Musica stated.

"Shadow guard? I am unfamiliar," Solaido said.

"Yes, what is this shadow guard?" Fua asked.

"Wait, you've never heard of the shadow guard?" Haru responded. "Man, you have been down here for a while. I don't even know where to start. SG is this massive global organization that uses powerful shadow stones to exploit and terrorize people all over the world."

"I see... a lot has changed in the world above us. Shadow guard... a global organization with many shadow stones."

"Maybe there is a connection to this Shadow Guard thing after all," Solaido said. 'There are rumors that the demonoids leader, Gale possesses a powerful object called the shadow stone."

There's that name again, Naruto thought.

"Gale's brute strength and capacity for evil are astonishing. He kills without hesitation or remorse. But with your warrior skills and our remaining knights, we may just stand a chance after all." Fua said.

Our newest Batch of intelligence lead us to believe that Gale in en route to here: the Tower of Din. If we don't make a stand against him there, we may not have another chance at him or victory," Remi explained. "You must help us, Rave Master."

"You really are our last chance young ones." Fua said.

"With you, Gale will be defeated." Solaido said.

"Um, thanks... but no thanks," Haru said catching everyone off guard.

"Wh-what?"

"I cannot give you the Rave unless you do this!"

"So, you choose not to help us... you're a coward... you don't deserve the title Rave Master." Remi said.

"Haru, why? Why won't you help us?" Solaido asked.

Instead of answering Haru turned around and walked away.

"Hold on! You can't just walk out!" Solaido said.

"What's the matter? Haru," Elie said concerned.

"He's acting strange even for him," Griffin said

"Haru! Wait up!" Elie raced out after him.

"Okay, you two want to tell me what the heck just happened?" Solaido asked.

"I honestly have no clue. Who knows what he's thinking," Musica said.

"I can still help." Naruto offered

"Seriously Naruto?" Musica responded.

"I promised I'll helped, and I don't go back on my word, that's my ninja way" Naruto responded. "Besides, it's not like Haru can just leave here as long as the Rave Stone is here, you know."

"Tch," Musica said as he left the room.

"I do have a request," Naruto said. "Can I have another one of those giant shurikens?" Naruto pointed to Solaido's weapon.

"My cross blade?" Solaido asked.

"Yeah, it does more damage than any of my shurikens," Naruto explained.

"I'm afraid if the rumors are true it won't matter," Remi said. "Gale's going to be at the Tower of Din. This is our last chance."

"Hey don't count me out, Lady! I'm stronger than I look!" Naruto said.

"It's not that we don't believe you, but we need the Rave Master's help," Solaido said. "You can use your abilities to protect Lady Remi. I'll go deal with the Rave Master."

"Oh come on," Naruto complained.

Little did they know Musica was hiding and listening in.
