Hope everyone is doing well! Not much to say, except I have this new chapter for you! Please enjoy!

Ed growled at what he witnessed. "These things-!" Ed grunted.

"Eliminate target!"

One fired its laser, which Max deflected with his sword. Despite his wounds, it seemed he was able to power on through. Another tried to get in close with blades, again Maxi performed a perfect parry and sliced its abdomen. The others went all out on him, and he still fought them off. Ed joined in, kicking one down. One of the others tried to skewer him, but Ed grabbed its arm and performed a perfect throw, knocking it on its back.

Ed cocked his automail back to finish it off…and he felt it freeze in position. "What?!" The realization hit him like a train; this automail must have had a fail-safe, preventing him from using it against Robotnik's own machines! "Damn it!" How could he have been so stupid?! Ed looked back to see the combot take aim at him, and got to work with a transmutation circle in the snow, which he drew with his real hand. He quickly erected a barrier before the laser hit. He still fell back, but at least it failed to burn a hole through his body.

Ed quickly crawled away as he transmuted a sword; he would have to fight with his left, something he was not used to. Even so, the two put their hostilities on hold as they fought together…

Riza felt she should have been thankful for these machines intervening on her behalf, but their cold nature was something she could not shake off. The combots eyed their target while ignoring her. "Wait, it's okay!" Riza pleaded on the creature's behalf. "Just restrain her!"

The combots ignored her. "Eliminate Target."

The combots came down, managing to restrain the mighty lion-man. Kodos managed to pull several off the ground, but their jet boots stabilized them in mid-air. Alex trembled. He knew this magnificent, if not flawed being would be killed if he didn't stop them! And yet, he could not go against the Fuher….

"Ixis Naugus, Priority One! Eliminate!"

"What is this?! The machines I have heard Julian is so fond of?!" Ixis directed his fires at them…and they did nothing! "Impossible! Those fires were capable of melting steel!" Another fired off its steel cable. Naugus thought nothing of it, becoming ethereal on reflex. And yet, the cable took hold of him. "No!" Naugus looked, and saw intricate symbols glowing on the Combots."Mystic Wards…of course!"

Despite his situation, Ixis chuckled. "I must admit, this Julian is more cunning than I give him credit for! Still…there is a way around this!" The green orb on his scepter began to glow. "I may not be able to destroy these machines with magic directly…but brute force just may do it!" He raised his scepter, and a burst of green energy erupted into the sky…

"What is he doing?!" Olivier shouted.

Kodos received the energy, his skin and clothes turned into a green crystalline form. Armstrong was worried he was killed, but his new form moved. "Finally!" Kodos laughed. With a mighty tug, he snapped the cables. The combots fired an assortment of weapons, yet none of them seemed to even crack his new skin. Kodos picked up his axe (also turned to crystal) and sliced them to scrap metal.

Kodos then stared Armstrong down. While Armstrong was never one to back down from a challenge, even this made him sweat…

The energy reached Arachins, turning her green. The combots fired all manner of weapons against her, but she powered through them like they were nothing.

Riza took the time to reach into her sleeve to pull out a shiv. Perhaps the cold had made the webbing more brittle, but she managed to pierce her way out of the substance, and went to work cutting the rest of herself free.

With her weapons and multiple limbs, Uma made quick work of the combots, standing over them triumphantly. All that was left was the overlander woman. The two stared each other down…and Riza bolted the opposite direction. Under her mask, Uma smirked and took to the trees.

Max had also received the energy, but not before the combots burned a hole into the snow surrounding him. Max could do nothing but fall. Ed tried to run to him, but one of the combots intercepted him, attacking with blades and forcing Ed on the defensive.

The others fired their cables into the hole, and judging by the way they straightened, ensnared their target. They pulled, but nothing came out. The fired up their rockets, but they did not rise more than a foot. Suddenly, their prey jumped out, slicing the head off one. The others fired their lasers, but Max, now made of crystal, did not flinch, and fearlessly attacked the offending robots. It seemed his wound from before was gone too, as he was clearly moving faster. He sliced the legs off one, quickly impaling its chest as it landed. Another tried to get him in a nelson, but Max did a backstab, before pulling his sword up and bifurcating the offending machine. Seeing Ed kick back a combot, he rushed it from behind and shoved his crystal sword through it.

Ed stared at Max in wonder. "It's like what happened at the shrine!" He also felt his automail unlock, and could move it again. "I guess as long as I don't fight robots, it works!"

"Now that there are no more distractions…" Max took a swipe, cutting Ed's cheek. The alchemist quickly scrambled back, but Max was on his tail. However, Ed rolled back onto his feet, clapped his hands and pressed them against the snow. The heat caused it to explode into steam, obscuring his pursuer's vision. When it cleared, Ed was nowhere in sight.

But Max knew he wasn't far away.

"Most excellent, sir!" Snively exclaimed. "Even with the combots' aid, it is unlikely these military dogs can prevail against Naugus! With any luck, they will kill each other!"

Robotnik eyed what he could from the various screens, before they went dark. Though Snively was pleased with the results, Robotnik wasn't. Against Naugus, they were going to need all the help they could get. "Though seeing my enemies destroy each other is all good and well…I have need for most of them yet!" He flipped a switch on the console…

Ed knew the snow mound would only buy him a few seconds at most. Yet he could not think of anything better. He was afraid not just of what the king had become, but how was he going to beat him without killing him? Perhaps grappling, choking him out? A dangerous gamble. At worst, it might not work on his current form at all. At best, he may wind up killing him. Maybe he could transmute him back to his original form? So many things could go wrong without understanding his current physiology!

Suddenly, his arm came alive as the wrist lit up. His hand opened up, and a hologram of Robotnik appeared in his palm. "It seems you are having trouble, Full Metal."

"Oh, screw you, Eggman!" Ed hissed, careful not shout.

Robotnik seemed to only smirk at the insult. "Anyhow, I anticipated Naugus' magic to be problematic. He's probably too much for you to handle directly, but his minions, we may be able to deal with."

"You've got magic?"

"Not quite." Robotnik said. "Naugus banished himself into the Zone of Silence before I came to the old Mobotropolis. However, there were documents that detailed 'Mystical Wards'. I studied them, just in case, and incorporated them into my current technology here. You should be able to reverse the King's current state with it."

Ed didn't want to trust this madman, but he didn't have much of a choice now, did he? "Okay…what do I do, exactly?"

"First, allow me to activate the ward." Ed's palm then glowed, and he opened it, observing the symbol in it. It looked like a character from the Xingese alphabet. "Now, all you have to do is touch him."

"I've a feeling that's going to be easier said than done…"

The crystal blade suddenly poked from behind the mound, cutting Ed's other cheek. The sword turned and made a slice his direction, but luckily Ed rolled put of the way. The green form of the former King Max stood before him. "Found you…"

Despite the surprise of their mystic wards, Ixis made short work of the combots, summoning earth and crystal to to destroy them through more physical means of magic. Even so, the ordeal left him exhausted. He fell to one knee, exhaling heavily. "It's been a while, since I had to exert myself like this!"

Much like Ed was earlier, Roy and Olivier had taken to hiding behind the snow, knowing full well the futility of it all. "I hate to admit it, Mustang…but I am out of my league here!" She said.

Mustang thought about this carefully, rubbing his chin. "I may have one last ploy, general. But first, I need to know…"

"Oh?"

"Just how good are you with that sword?"

Alex resorted to punching the ground again, creating spikes that grew forward like a wave. Kodos did not move, as the spikes shattered like glass against his body. The lion smirked, and charged with his axe.

Despite his large size, Alex was quite agile, and expertly dodged the weapon. The blade managed to knick his shoulder, but thankfully the cut wasn't deep. Alex quickly closed the distance, grabbing the weapon and Kodos' arm. With a mighty tug, he threw the large mobian over his shoulder.

Kodos got up, realizing he was unarmed. Armstrong now held the axe; Kodos could tell he could wield it as well as him. "Well, what are you waiting for?" He asked.

"For your surrender." Alex said. "You are such a magnificent creatire; I've no wish ro spill your blood…if you have any as you are now, anyway…" He briefly thought back to Ishvall. "And I've enough blood on my hands as it is."

"Remorse?" Kodos sneered. "I was beginning to respect your skills, but now you have just revealed yourself as weak." Alex sighed in disappointment, and tossed the axe aside, making sure to embed deep into the soil below. Kodos only laughed. "And a fool to boot."

"At least I'm an honorable one."

"Honor is exactly what defines a fool." Kodos retorted.

Kodos charged, Alex doing the same. Their fists collided…and Alex withdrew his hand in pain. Even with his spiked knuckles, Alex felt his fingers swell. Kodos only laughed, punching Armstrong across the face hard enough to draw blood and make the muscle man stumble. He didn't waste time and picked the large man up, slamming him back into the ground; the snow did little to cushion the impact.

Still, Armstrong remained conscious, seeing Kodos raise both fists. Quickly, Armstrong raised both his legs around Kodos' neck, swinging him down to the side as he rolled. Armstrong got back up in a stance, ready to fight. Kodos was mad now, blindly charging. It seemed they would trade blows again, but instead Armstrong caught the lion in the neck with a lariat move, slamming his biceps right into the neck. Though it hurt little, Kodos felt the wind knocked out of him for a moment. Quickly, Armstrong wrapped his arm around nis neck and tripped Kodos, locking his leg. Kodos struggled to rise, but he couldn't gain leverage. "Cease your struggling!" Armstrong demanded. "This technique of grappling has been passed down the Armstrong line for generations!"

Riza ran. She had only one shot left in her pistol, and judging by the creature's new invulnerability, it would be wasted on her. Something sharp then pierced her arm. "Uhn!" Riza looked to see a crystalline star in it. Without stopping, she pulled it and discarded it. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Uma in the tree tops, agile as ever. The sniper zig-zagged, and took cover behind a random tree.

In spite of her rush earlier, she remained calm, breathing normally. As a sniper, she learned to be quiet; targets didn't come into your range if they know you're there. Slowly, she pulled her pistol out of her pocket. She held it down, barrel pointing to the snow. Then the webs got her. The sticky silk pinned her to the tree, but she managed to keep her pistol at a good angle for shooting. Uma landed in front of her, weapons at the ready.

Though it was harder to read her eyes due to the crystal covering them, she could see the spider eyeing her gun. "That's not going to help you," the spider told her. "But I'll let you take your shot. So go ahead." She thumbed her own head. Riza eyed her, pulled the trigger…and the shot echoed across the field. Uma just looked at her puzzled. "You had one shot, and you missed?!"

Riza only smirked, and seemed to take a deep breath.

A thundering sound echoed, and Uma looked behind her. They were near the mountains, and her shot must have triggered an avalanche! Uma tried to climb up to the top of the trees, but the rushing snow intercepted her…

"Show yourselves!" Ixis yelled into the blizzard. "Do so, and I will make your demise quick and painless!"

"The one who will die is you, creature!" Ixis turned to see Olivier's saber come down on him…and he turned into air as it passed through him. Olivier didn't stand still, as she ran past him before making another swing at him. Ixis repeated his transformation into air as Olivier made several swings, but all she did was cut into the ground. She repeated the motion several times and Ixis repeated the same defense.

After her last swing, Ixis pointed his hand and froze her boot in place. "That's quite enough, female!" Olivier just gave him her death glare, making even Naugus pause when approaching her. 'If nothing else, I admire your fearlessness." Ixis approached her, his scepter glowing. "It would be a shame to waste it, when you can use it to serve me."

"I feel insulted." Olivier sneered. "You claim to admire my fearlessness, and yet you are asking me to beg for my life."

Ixis paused, his eyes narrowing. "So be it." Isis's scepter glowed…

"That's quite enough!"

Ixis turned to see Mustang, standing calmly with his hands in his pockets. "I suppose you have come to beg instead?" He asked. Fire burned from his very eyes. "No thanks. I've no need for cowards…but if you strip and act like whatever sub-intelligent creatures you have on this planet, I may consider you as my personal jester."

"Why, you misunderstand me." Mustang smiled. "I came to accept YOUR surrender."

Ixis turned all of his attention to Mustang, that he didn't see Olivier picking her way out of the ice. "And why would I do that?"

"Because it's inevitable," Mustang suddenly crouched and placed his hand on the snow. "You freak of nature!"

An intricate pattern came alive under Naugus' feet, glowing orange. "What!?" Before he could act, a deafening explosion was heard in the field.

Ed shoved his automail hand forward towards the king's head, the ward activated. It seemed he was about to get him…but Max jumped back at the last second. "Does he know?" Ed thought.

The enslaved king looked at him, gauging his opponent. "There's something about your arm. Something…peculiar." Max said. "I'll have make sure you can't use it."

Max made a slice for the shoulder, which Ed stepped away from. "He's trying to cut my arm off at the weakest point!" He thought. Quickly he transmuted icicles to push him back. Thankfully, the transmutation seemed to have no effect on the ward itself, clearly still active. As Max broke through the icicles, Ed reached into the earth and transmuted a shield and short sword. He was more of a lancer, but for this situation he felt that close combat was best.

He blocked Max's first strike with the shield, and Ed smacked him with the sword. The blade chipped; it seemed nothing could get through this guy! "You are an excellent warrior." Max said in respect. "But as long as I'm in this form, you cannot hope to defeat me the same way I can you!" Max suddenly jumped with a kick, pushing Ed's shield back.

The alchemist was now on his back, and blocked with the sword as Max tried to cut him again. "I can't hurt you!" Ed conceded. "But I can still push you around!" Ed used his automail leg to push kick him, making him stumble. Ed got up and threw his shield around, catching Max in the temple and causing him to stumble. He felt no pain, but the sheer force still disoriented him and made him lose balance. Had he been in the flesh, he probably would have had a concussion in the best case scenario. Ed gave him no room to breathe, as he ran forward with his shield and rammed into him.

Max fell right into a snow mound, his vision completely blocked by the shield and Ed using all his might to keep him pinned. Out of the corner of his eye, Max saw Ed's hand reach for him. "You may have the upper hand, but I have not been bested yet!" Max grabbed the arm, and stuck his blade through it. He kicked the shield off and seemingly pulled the automail off entirely. But as he stood, Ed was nowhere to be found. Max held the arm up, and realized it wasn't his real arm!

"I have you now!" Ed jumped from the hill behind Max and caught him right in the head with his new automail.

What Max didn't realize was that Ed transmuted a fake arm behind the shield he also made. When he pinned Max, he shoved the fake forward, and disappeared behind the mound as soon as the mobian grabbed it. "Now, enough of this!"

The ward sparkled with electricity, much like his transmutations. Max began to yell as if he was in pain. "I'm taking you back to your people, even if I have to break both of your legs to do it!"

Kodos let out one final gasp, and lay limp. Alex let him go, and stared anxiously. Then, Kodos began to turn back to flesh. He breathed, and Alex sighed in relief.

Riza's hand popped out from under the snow, and soon her head followed, coughing in the air. She used to believe Mustang was reckless, but after this she had to question her own sanity. Looking to her right, she found Uma's hands dig their way out, and they were no longer green. Uma's head popped out, inhaling the air deeply. Though she found the strength to pull herself out of the snow, the whole ordeal clearly weakened her.

Riza was now out of bullets, but that was alright; she didn't want to kill this thing. Not yet, at least. She snuck up behind her, and raised her pistol.

Just as Uma caught her shadow, Riza brought the weapon down behind her base, knocking her out.

Ed removed his hand, and Max fell to his knees, defeated. At first, he seemed to remain crystallized.

Then, the crystalline skin faded away, giving way to Max's flesh. "Yes!" Ed smiled, pumping his fist. "I did it!"

Robotnik watched everything from his monitor. "The ward worked." Then, he sneered. "Now, for my real plan."

He pressed a switch on his console….

Ed noticed red lights blinking in his automail's wrist. "What the-?" His arm suddenly began to move on its own; the fist clenched, pointing at the king like he was intending to punch him. That was when some kind of barrel shot out of the arm. "Oh no…"

Ed reached to pull his arm back, but an electric shock caused him to recoil. "Well done, Fullmetal!" Robotnik said from the other line. "You defeated the King! Now claim your prize!" The barrel started to glow, probably a laser.

"This was your plan all along!"

"Now, don't be sad." Robotnik mocked him. "You can still bring him back to his darling daughter. He'll just be a little…deadish. Probably not in one piece either. I do hope that will not be a problem." Ed tried to run back, but his arm just moved to keep its focus on Acorn. Even when Ed tried to move out of the way entirely, the shock brought him to his knees. "Sorry. I just wanted you to know that I'm giving you no chance in the matter. Now, I think it's time we got this over with."

Ed looked on in horror…

"Is it over?" Olivier asked as she saw the flame began to wane.

"I hope so." Mustang said, staring intently. Best not to answer honestly; even with all that, and with what he had just seen, he DOUBTED this would be enough.

Finally, the fire snuffed put, and Ixis Naugus remained. He wasn't unscathed, however; he was covered in burns, his clothes smoldering and tattered. He breathed deep, and both could feel the fury emanating from him. "That…was a good strategy. You almost got me; I barely protected myself in time." The mist then congealed around his hand. "But now you die."

Robotnik looked on through the eyes of his destroyed combots nervously as he took his eyes off Ed's monitor. "I was so preoccupied with finishing the king, I took my eyes off the real ball!" Sighing, he typed some commands in. "Alright, Enerjak! You're on!"

He didn't notice Ed's monitor go to static.

Enerjak had watched the whole thing unfold from high above. Though he considered the whole ordeal beneath him, the collar forced him to obey. This Naugus character may prove to be interesting, at least. He went on ahead and descended.

Ixis fired his icy blast…and Enerjak intercepted it, green energy blocking it like a shield. "Who dares stands in the way of Ixis Naugus!" The chimera yelled.

Enerjak said nothing, only staring right at him. Normally, he would have given a grandiose speech himself, but being under Robotnik's control, he didn't have it in him. Ixis fired heat eye beams, but Enerjak caught the fire and condensed it into a ball. "Begone. At the moment, I have no desire for so fruitless a confrontation."

Ixis only got angrier, firing more elements. Enerjak blocked them all with his own energy. While Ixis was furious at this point, Enerjak was completely detached.

Olivier looked on as the two seemingly all-powerful beings faced off. Mustang then grabbed her arm. "I suggest we leave, general! I've had my fill of these things, and looking at the way this is going, I believe we are out of our league."

"The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend." Olivier mumbled. She nodded, and followed Mustang into the blizzard. Ixis continued to assault Enerjak, who stood where he was as he tired the sorcerer out.

Ixis turned into a flame, and managed to knock Enerjak down. The echidna growled, pounding the snow. Even when doing his captors' bidding, his power was limited. "It seems you are not entirely invincible." Naugus said as he reconstructed himself. He conjured his scepter back in his hand, and fired a blast that knocked Enerjak off his feet, the sudden crystals knocking him in the body. "You will pay for making a mockery out of me!" Ixis fired another blast, this time grazing Enerjak's hand. The glove crystallized…but not his hand. "I shot too close!" Ixis thought. "My crystal magic only affects my followers and inanimate matter! I need to make him think otherwise!"

Enerjak, however, indeed figured it out. He eyed the destroyed combots. Even as scrap, he could see the markings of the wards still active. He then looked at his collar. "He upgraded his machines to combat this thing-! But he never tampered with mine!"

Enerjak gathered his energy, and struck Ixis down hard. "You dare strike me?!" Enerjak shouted, sneering. He was definitely feeling like his old self now. Ixis dug deep and summoned a stalactite of earth, trying to impale Enerjak. He teleported behind Naugus, and soon his finger. The chimera felt the air condense around him and speed up. Soon he was twisting rapidly, like he was caught in the middle of a tornado. Eventually, Enerjak ceased his actions and Ixis went flying into the snow.

He seethed, smashing his fist and claw, patting snow off his face as he rose. "I…WILL…"

Enerjak sneered, taking a step forward. "Yes…"

"MAKE…"

"That's it." He took another step forward.

"YOU…"

"Do it!"

"…SUFFER!" Ixis fired a blast from his scepter, attempting to impale him with crystals. But Enerjak suddenly sped into the ray, engulfed in his energy. "No!"

Enerjak remained. His clothes turned crystalline, but his flesh remained intact. This didn't bother him; he simply reached for his collar, and pulled; it shattered like glass. "Much better." He turned his wrist, his clothes turning back to normal. Ixis tried to attack again, but the green energy entrapped him and lifted him off the ground. As he drifted towards the Echidna, Ixis squirmed. "Thank you." Enerjak sneered. "Now, your powers are nothing compared to mine…but still, they are impressive. For what they are." The energy released Ixis, who managed to kneel in the snow. "What is your name?"

Ixis breathed before he uttered the words. "Naugus…" he breathed. "Ixis Naugus."

"That sounds…familiar, somehow." The echidna scratched his chin. "You will call me master, but remember this name…Enerjak!"

Ixis' eyes widened upon hearing the name. "Y-you're him?!"

"You've heard of me?"

"The order of Ixis waged a war with the echidnas! A scientist worked hard to counter our forces, and delved deep into the force of chaos. He merged with it, and sought to destroy everything! The order had no choice but to join forces with the Knights of Albion!"

Enerjak's eyes narrowed. "This history you speak of is not my own!" He said. He stroked his chin. "Yet…it feels familiar…" He relaxed, and brushed it off. "You have spent more time in this world independently than I have." Ixis looked up, curious. "Show me." He commanded the strange mobian.

Robotnik scratched his chin as he looked through the monitors. All were down, nothing but static. And he had two major fears.

First was Naugus and Enerjak. He didn't think to upgrade to a mystical-proof collar, with everything that was happening! Even if he did, could he? Enerjak was so powerful; just one second of freedom and he could do anything he imagined!

Then there was Ed and the King. Just what happened between the two of them?

Armstrong finished binding Kodos in chains. Though weakened, he still struggled against his binds. "You should have killed me." Kodos growled.

"And you intend to come after me?" Armstrong asked. "To finish me?"

"That's EXACTLY what I intend to do!"

Armstrong sighed. He then caught sight of Riza, carrying the spider lady on her back. "It seems we're victorious." He said.

"Barely." Riza sighed. "I got lucky."

"A win is still a win, Lieutenant." He assured her. He then caught sight of Mustang and Olivier coming his way. "Colonel! Sister! Are we victorious?"

"Not exactly." Mustang answered grimly.

"We encountered the puppet master behind this." Olivier explained. "He was powerful; we couldn't even touch him."

"Then how-?"

"Something else interfered." Mustang answered. "Someone else. And he was even stronger."

"General!" Miles rushed towards her; he seemed to have been bleeding from the head, but the cold naturally sealed any minor cuts. "The Drachman Forces have retreated!"

"Thank goodness for small favors." Olivier sighed. "As soon as everything is clear, I need you to search for the minister's body."

"Body?" Miles asked. "He's dead?"

"As soon as everything has quieted down, I will take you to his approximate location." Miles saluted, as he ran back to gather the forces. "Mustang." She said coldly.

"Yes?" Mustang asked.

"You seemed familiar with those creatures." She said.

"Not those specifically." Mustang assured her, not hesitant to answer her truthfully.

"And the ones you are familiar with?"

"Don't know them first-hand. They don't seem to be as dangerous as these ones."

"Fullmetal may have something to say." Alex suggested. "He has become acquainted with them."

"Speaking of which, has anyone seen him?" Mustang asked.

Up in the mountains, Ed struggled as he walked up, draping King Acorn over his shoulders. He was smaller than the average man, but he was also larger than the average mobian it seemed. "Shit. You just had to make this hard for me, didn't you?" Ed grunted.

He tightly gripped Acorn's left with his own…and on his right, all that remained was the metal bolt installed in his shoulder…

Ed tried to pull the aiming arm back, but it wouldn't budge. "I have to destroy it!" He would need to use alchemy, but how? Its fist was closed, and he needed both hands open to make the circle. He then saw a screw around the upper-arm portion popping out. Ed eyes widened. Acting quickly, he pulled it out, and quickly scratched a quick transmutation circle on it.

The laser was about to fire, and Ed slapped it. A current of electricity traveled down the arm…and it exploded. "AAAHHH!" He used the same technique as the murderer Scar did; as an anti-alchemist killer, he somehow learned Alchemy and used his power to destroy instead of transmute. Ed used this principle once before on a suit of armor like his brother's not too long ago, and he never imagined using it on himself. The explosion came in contact with his nerve, and he fell over in pain. The components of the arm fell into the snow, while the energy it was gathering had dissipated.

Ed clutched his aching joint and sat up, as he and Acorn looked each other in the eyes. The fallen king sighed, closing his eyes.

Ed treaded on, fighting the blizzard and the burden of Acorn on his back. Acorn seemed to come to, opening his eyes. "…why?" He wheezed.

"There's someone waiting for your return." Ed hissed. "Don't look any further into it. But if you wind up hurting her, nothing's going to stop me from beating your ass!"

They continued on, the blizzard eventually obscuring them from the rest of the meadow.

And that's it for this part of the story. Ed's got King Acorn back; how will EE screw him over now?

Also, mixed feelings on Sonic Frontiers. Looks great, and I think the moves are cool, though I am iffy about combat. I think Tails and Knuckles are characters better suited to open world (being able to glide and all)

I look forward to Flynn's style in the writing of the game if nothing else, but I hope the enemies become a bit more detailed as time goes on.

Anyway, thanks for reading everyone!
