Jaune Calls Weiss
Chibi Voltaria Eclipse, wearing her mask, was sitting on a bench on Beacon Academy's courtyard, reading a book about history. It was a peaceful morning and it was a good day to read at a bench. However, Jaune suddenly interrupted her peace. Lifting her head from her book, she saw Chibi Jaune Arc talking into his Scroll, sounding nervous and hesitant.
"Hey, um, Weiss...Schnee! This is Jaune...Arc, of the Arc family- last name's Arc." Jaune's words weren't genuine or confident, but it didn't stop him from trying to 'Woo' Weiss. "Anyways, I was wondering what are you doing Saturday night? I'm doing...nothing..." Jaune starts shuffling a pebble underneath his feet hesitantly, "Uh, which means I could be doing something with you! Yeah!"
Suddenly, the pebble underneath Jaune's foot was sent flying away after Jaune rolled it to hard, "Whoa!" He yelps before he flips backwards, and lands hard on his head, with his Scroll landing beside him. Jaune then face planted to the floor. Voltaria shook her head as she watch Jaune lifting his head slowly, his daze and in pain, while he weakly says to his phone, "...Call me." Before collapsing on to the ground.
Sighing, Voltaria closes her book and walks over to the unconscious Jaune. She picks his Scroll up and grabs him by the foot, dragging him to the nurse's office.
"Reloading"
At the other side of the courtyard, Ruby and Weiss were doing some target practice with Crescent Rose. Chibi Ripper the Indoraptor was watching from the sidelines with Chibi Zwei on his head. They watched excitedly as Ruby practiced her shots with different Dust Element ammunition.
"Ice!" Ruby orders Weiss, who carries her ammunition, hands Ruby the ice one. Ruby loads it into Crescent Rose, and cocks it, before she fires the weapon, and a blast of ice discharges from the barrel.
"Fire!"
Weiss hands Ruby another ammunition, this one emblazoned with an ember. Ruby loads it, and fires again, this time causing a plume of fire to appear. Ripper and Zwei awed at this, finding it fascinating. Ripper clapped his claws together, applauding her Momma Red. However, their excitement didn't last long when Ruby asked for the next ammo.
"Gravity!"
Weiss hands Ruby a third one, but both of them forget that Gravity Dust can't be used as bullets. To demonstrate, Ruby puts the ammo in Crescent Rose and fires. A flash of darkness emerges from the muzzle, but this time, Ruby was blasted backwards and crashed into something. Weiss watches her go, before slapping her palm against her face, while Ripper goes after his Momma Red, roaring at her worriedly with Zwei clinging on his head.
Voltaria was back at the courtyard, standing close by as she watched Jaune pacing back and forth. He's been doing this for the past twenty minutes as he leaves another message for Weiss.
"Hey Weiss. Um, I'm guessing you didn't get my call earlier. Maybe the tower's messing up or something."
"Jaune, you can just go find Weiss and talk to her like a...oh, I don't, like a sane and normal person would do?" Voltaria suggested before muttering at the corner of her breath, "Even though you're not."
"Shush!" Jaune shushes her, "I'm trying to act cool here!" He whispers out loudly, causing Voltaria to roll her eyes under her mask, as Jaune returns to his Scroll, "I mean, there's no way you wouldn't get my message and not call me back. Right? I mean, that's...that'd be rude. That's ridiculous. You're definitely not, y'know, playing these messages to the rest of Team RWBY, and laughing...hehe, laughing. It's, uh, it's not you. You wouldn't do that, you wouldn't- you wouldn't do that. Right? That's crazy."
"The only thing crazy; is you trying to impress Weiss, who is clearly not interested in you." Voltaria informs him bluntly.
"Easy for you to say! You just look through the future and know what's gonna happen! You can stop yourself from doing anything embarrassing!" Jaune pointed out to her.
Voltaria simply shrugs her shoulders, "Don't hate the players."
"Blake Tag"
Another part of the courtyard, Blake was standing nonchalantly in the courtyard, minding her own business. Until Yang leaps up behind her.
"Tag, you're it!" Yang yelled as she was about to touch Blake. Unfortunately for Yang, Blake phases out of existence, having used her Semblance to dodge the surprise attack. This, however, caught Yang off guard for a short while before she spins around, and leaps for Blake again.
"You're it!"
Once again, Blake dodges the attack, and Yang leaps for her again.
"You're it!"
Despite Yang's efforts, Blake continues to phase away from her.
"YOU'RE IT!"
With a chuckle, Blake continues to dodge her teammate's attempts to tag her, much to Yang's chagrin.
"IT, IT, IT! BLAKE! YOU! ARE! IT!" Yang screamed, chasing after Blake.
From the sidelines were Voltaria's entities. They were resting under the shade of a tree, enjoying their afternoon. Chibi Hannibal was napping while Chibi Tabitha was reading a book. Regina and Wraith were the only ones watching Yang chasing after Blake.
Should we stop her? Regina questions her companion.
Wraith snorts at her in amusement, And ruined the entertainment?
Back to Chibi Voltaria and Jaune, the girl watched blankly from the background, arms crossed, as Jaune was now losing his patient. He is currently yelling at his scroll with a frustrated look.
"ALRIGHT, ICE QUEEN, I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE!" Jaune yelled out angrily, while Voltaria shook her head at him, until she stopped when she noticed someone coming.
"Um...Jaune?" She tried to call out to him, but he was busy yelling.
"It's one thing to deny a guy, but it is another thing to ignore him entirely!"
"Hey, Jaune, I think you should stop and turn around..." Voltaria tries again.
"Not now, V! Can't you see I'm releasing my rage?" Jaune said to her, not bothered to look behind him as he continued his ranting. "If you were here right now, I would give you A PIECE OF MY MI-!"
Jaune failed to notice Weiss strolling from the background and greeted him, "Hi, Jaune!"
Jaune pauses, his eyes widen like dinner plates. Voltaria lets out a sigh and shakes her head towards Jaune, knowing very well that he messed up. "Weiss is here." She said towards the blonde male blankly.
Jaune quickly faces Weiss, hiding his Scroll behind his back. "Hey! Weiss, what's...uh...what's going on?" He asked her hesitantly and nervously.
Weiss simply answered to him, "Not much, I'm just looking for my Scroll. I can't remember where I put it."
"Huh, so that's the reason." Voltaria said, glancing towards a now nervous and dumbstruck Jaune.
"Oh..." Was all Jaune could say, realizing that Weiss didn't get his messages because she misplaced her Scroll.
Just then, Blake came by with a Scroll on hand, "Weiss, I think I found your Scroll."
Before Weiss could claim her Scroll, Jaune dashes over to the new arrival, snatching the Scroll out of her hands, startling both her and Weiss (while Voltaria stares blankly under her mask), and begins to stomp on it repeatedly. The trio stared at him with mixed expressions. Both Weiss and Blake stared at him in confusion and bewilderment while Voltaria was just staring at him blankly. With a final kick, Jaune sent the Scroll flying, heavily panting at his sudden attack. He then realized that he was being looked at by Weiss and Blake, utterly in shock at what they just witnessed while Voltaria shook her head.
Jaune quickly changes the subject and decides to leave as soon as possible, "Right, I will see you later!"
With that, Jaune slides away, leaving the trio behind. Weiss looks at Blake and Voltaria, wondering what just happened. Blake responded with a shrug of shoulders and Voltaria responded, "You're gonna need a new Scroll."
And Weiss merely hangs her head in shock or in annoyance.
"Blake vs. Zwei Part 2"
Voltaria was in the kitchen/living room, sitting on the couch while reading a book about stars. Her entities are dozing about, enjoying a peaceful day. Just then, Zwei walks into the room, sniffing around for something. Voltaria glanced up from her book and looked at him under her mask, wondering what he was doing. The dog looks up and tries to climb the garbage can, but falls backwards onto his bottom, before tilting to the side. He rolls over, and goes over to a couch, sticking his head under it, before yanking himself free with a yap. He walks off, still searching for something or someone.
Voltaria watched as Zwei left the room. She waited approximately five minutes before looking at the refrigerators, "He's gone."
That was when the freezer door of the refrigerator tilts open, revealing a shivering Blake, with chattering teeth and blank white eyes, covered in ice after attempting to hide from the canine.
"...You want some warm-milk?" Voltaria offered.
"Y-Ye-s...p-p-pl-ea-se..." Blake said through jittering teethes.
"Mask or no Mask"
In the living room, Team Chibi RWBY, JNPR, and WAVE (minus Voltaria) were watching a movie on the screen. Ruby was eating popcorn while Yang was drinking soda and Nora was munching on a candy bar. Weiss and AJ were tearfully watching the show, wiping their tears away with tissues. Blake, Jaune, and Pyrrha were into it, eyes widened in adoration. And the rest of the boys were just enjoying the show casually. Just then, Neptune and Sun came into the room, noticing the group watching a movie.
"Hey, whatcha guys watching?" Sun asked, looking at the screen.
"Oh! We're watching this new movie called The Masked Hunter!" Yang explains the movie's title with a grin, "You see, this hunter named Mysterio, travels around Remnant, saving people, while hiding his identity."
"Wow, that sounds cool." Sun commented with a grin. "What else can he do?"
"His Semblance is so cool! He can open portals and kickbutts!" Ruby listed out the cool things about the character.
"And he's a gentleman." Weiss added with a smile before clasping her hands together while her eyes sparkled, "He's madly in love with this noble girl named Sashabella, but can't be with her because of his many enemies."
AJ lets out a romantic sigh at the story, "It's so romantic yet sad!"
"Does he take off his mask?" Neptune asked.
"Nope! That's why he is so mysterious, he never shows his face to anyone, not even to his true love." Jaune added, not taking his eyes off the screen.
Pyrrha sighs dreamily, "It is so sad that he can't show his face to his true love."
"This Mysterio guy sounds a bit like Voltaria." Sun said to the group.
"Pfft! Of course not! Volty's way mysterious than him." Ruby said, eating another popcorn.
"No, what I meant was, does Voltaria ever remove her mask?" Sun asked the group.
"Now that you mentioned it, I never even see Voltaria remove her mask." Neptune agrees with Sun.
The group looked at each other for a short while and then to Sun and Neptune, "Well...she does take off her mask on some occasions." Ruby answered.
"Like?" Sun asked further questions.
"I guess, when she's taking a bath, that's the only time she removes her mask." AJ was the one who answered.
"That's it?" Neptune asked while he and Sun just stared at them, "Nothing else?"
"Yeah, why can't she just remove her mask when she's out?" Sun suggested to the group. "Does she even show her face at all?" The group shook their heads at Sun and Neptune, "Don't you guys ever wonder what's under her mask?" The group replied by either saying 'No', 'Not really', or 'Meh'.
"You guys never ask her to remove her mask?" Neptune asked them.
"It's her personal life, dude." Evo replied, looking at them under his visor.
"But, come on, you guys aren't curious what's Voltaria's hiding?" Sun said to them, which they responded with a shrug, "She could've have like a birthmark or an embarrassing rash or maybe a third eye!"
"Sun, don't be ridiculous." Wade said to Sun sternly, "V likes to wear a mask, and that's that, end of story. You can't assume she's hiding somethin'."
"But it could!" Sun said seriously. "Maybe she's hiding the fact that she's a Faunus like us! Or she's blind!"
"Sun, she's not blind." Blake said to him sternly.
"Come on, at least be slightly curious about what's under her mask." Sun tries to encourage.
"Yeah, we can just take her mask off without her knowing." Neptune suggested.
Wade gave them a look and pointed out in a deadpan tone, "Okay, one: We ain't that curious what's under V's mask, and second: You do realize she'll tear you to pieces if she finds out that you were trying to steal from her, right?"
Both Sun and Neptune froze in place, realizing that Wade was right, as always.
Bark! Bark! Bark!
Zwei came running in the room, with Voltaria's mask in his mouth. He went over the group while wagging his tail.
"Wow! Zwei! How'd ya get V's mask?" The Monkey Faunus asked, getting the mask off from Zwei's mouth, earning a bark from the dog.
"Huh, maybe he snuck into her room and got her mask without her looking." Neptune suggested.
"Sweet! Now we can see what V's face looks like!" Sun said cheerfully.
"I don't think that's a good idea, partner." Wade said, looking at them with the others.
"Why? Isn't that a good thing that we can see her face?" Sun questions Wade.
"Um...you do realize that if you V caught you guys holding her mask, she'll think that you guys stole it." Yang adds in a matter-of-fact tone.
Sun and Neptune froze in their spot, slowly realizing that they were right! If Voltaria thought it was them who stole her mask, then she'll-
"Has anyone seen my mask?" They heard Voltaria's voice in the background.
"AAAAHHHHH!" Both Sun and Neptune screamed like little girls, letting go of the mask, which Zwei caught, before running away screaming out of the room.
When they left, the maskless Voltaria entered the room with a calm expression, ignoring two screaming males that were running on the other side of the hall. The rest of Team WAVE, RWBY, and JNPR saw Voltaria's Chibi face and found out one thing.
She...Is...So...ADORABLE!
"AAAHHHHHH! VOLTY YOU'RE ADORABLE!" Ruby screams with joy, tackling Voltaria with a hug, followed by the rest of the girls, nearly suffocating her as her body emits squeaking sounds. Voltaria made a look of annoyance before noticing Zwei holding her mask with his mouth.
"Can I have my mask back?"
"Five more minutes!" All the girls squealed in unison, grinning happily, as they hugged Chibi Voltaria tightly.
This caused Voltaria to sigh in annoyance while the boys smiled at them and Zwei made happy sounds.
