All gathered around inside the large tower of Paw patrol way atop the hill overlooking Adventure Bay, Inside was everyone involved to hear out Rocky and possibly a valid explanation to all this Soviet talk. Rocky himself standing firm before a white board with an array of bright coloured markers with brightly colours drawings littering the whole space to detail his theory.

"So this is everything, you guys get it?" Rocky proclaimed moving aside the so everyone could get a clear view of…whatever science wizardry the mixed breed had drawn. Firstly, seeing the Dalmatian's paw being raised up high. "Yes Marshall?"

"Why did you draw a Fire Hydrant?" He asked, Forcing Rocky to look back to not see a Fire Hydrant at all, at least with his level of intelligence. "Marshall that's not a Fire Hydrant, that's a Star Combustion of Static Energy"

"I thought it was Muffin" Rubble gave his two sense on the matter, Rocky pressed and rubbing his paws against his temple, feeling like he was engaging with idiots at this point. "Rocky, can you explain it all again, I feel like I lost a few more brain cells from all that" Chase asked with every one agreeing with him.

Rocky gave a heaping sigh as he turned back to the white board for a lengthy recap. "Alright, My Theory is that when Laika was sent out into Space by the Soviet Space Program, the trajectory that she was flying in perfectly flew her that Space Rift and transported her all the way from the past to now"

"But that must have been Decades ago, and she looks so…. Not old" Skye commented.

"Well that's something else I wanted to talk on, That Space Rift that she passed through must have in some way made time stay still, She didn't age one bit and neither did her space craft"

"Now that you mention it, When I was in that space rift thingy; All that time in there I had no need to Eat, Drink or Sleep as well" Laika said, making Rocky even more confident that his theory was now becoming fact.

"This also affected her capsule as well, When Marshall and I went to go look at it there were no signs of age anywhere, No rust no nothing" He said. "Wait, what was that before or after we rolled down the Mountain?"

"Wait hold on a second, my ship rolled down the Mountain?!" Laika freaked out, basically grabbing the Dalmatian next to her by his read collar. "W-Well you think about, Its 'our' Ship because we're comra-AAHHHHH!" Laika suddenly shook Marshall back and forth Violently. "Laika, remember what we talked about" Katie commanded.

Giving Laika the signal to stop manhandling Marshall in such a way and to instead recall the times with Katie. Inhaling and exhaling repeatedly as everyone watch as she momentarily became calm with still a few death glances here and there. "Yeah, sorry Laika" Rocky apologized as Laika raised her paw to the fellow mixed breed encouraging him to cease in his apology.

"Just continue with what you were saying"

"Y-Yeah Right, Anyways, With everything being said. We have in front of us a living Relic of the Past, The First Dog in Space actually. According to my sources, and by sources, I mean Google, She's from the year 1957 of the Soviet Union."

"Oh late 50s culture has always struck as being somewhat exciting I bet it was colorful and lovely" Skye claimed with a broad heart filled smile with her paw brushed up against her golden fuzzy cheeks.

"It was Grey, Gloomy, and do even get me started on the architecture of it all" Laika responded with a daring glare which made the cockapoo sit right back in her spot.

"So I guess now Laika you're going to have to fully quaint yourself with the modern American way of life" Ryder suggested before being faced down by the German shepherd himself.

"Ryder with all due respect, she doesn't have a choice. It's not like we can just send her back to her time" He truthfully stated, or so he had thought before Rocky stepped in with an alternative to Chase's statement.

"Actually Chase, there is a way to return her back to her own era. I can see everyone is tired so I'm going to make this short and sweet…. Zuma, I swear to God if you say 'That's what she said'" Rocky sharply glanced over to the Labrador.

Giving him every warning on God's green earth to not make the infamous saying, slowly seeing Zuma shrink back down in his chair before Ricky cleared his throat.

"Ahem anyways, the rift that brought Laika to this time all the way from 1957 was the biggest burst of energy I think a rift like that had ever expelled. All that energy is going to expand out and then form back together again" He explained.

"So, what you're saying is, There's another rift?" Skye asked.

"No, there's going to be another rift, in the exact same spot as the last one" He replied.

"How long do we have until it opens again?" Ryder questioned the mix breed; all eyes were on him as he kissed his teeth and tapped the coloured marker repeatedly trying to conjure the scientific answer.

"Lets see…Multiply by the Amount of Energy, Calculate the size and add in the total mass, I'd say we have exactly…. Seven days"

"Seven days?!" they all shouted out in unison; they just couldn't believe a time that short for a task this big.

"Rocky, there's just no way we can make a Rocket ship for Laika to fly back through the rift in just a week" Marshall even had to step in a try to knock some sense into the mixed breed himself.

"Cmon guys, we can just throw our paws in the air and just give up just like that. We're Paw Patrol, No Job too big and no pup too small, Remember?" Rocky the motivation speaker had sudden burst into action, jumping up on the net y table to make his point further clear.

Even Laika admiring his face value dedication quite a bit with a smile. "Rocky is right you guys; throughout the years we've never let anyone in this town down. Whether it's helping a cat out of a tree or helping a dog fly back into a big space rift time thingy so you can get back to her own time. If Rocky is in, I am too." Ryder threw his palm in the middle to everyone else, All the canines including Katie looked at each other.

Contemplating the total labour and dedication that they were facing down, this is was their call to action they've been doing all these years, and the buck wasn't going to stop here. "I'm in" Chase said, throwing his paw onto Ryders.

"Same hewe" Zuma retorted

"Way ahead of you guys" In came Marshall

"I was always in" Katie proclaimed

"Don't count me out" Skye replied

"Whatever is needed, I'll do it" Rubble bolding exclaimed

All with their hands and paws in unison, suddenly a thought broke through to Rocky's mind as he recall all the personal that had threw themselves to help Laika, all of sudden Laika was nowhere in the pile. Looking right to left to see Laika just a few feet away.

Her paws crossed as if she was vexed at the idea looking at the fellow dogs that offered to help her with disgust, but instead looking on with just general confusion. "Cmon Laika, don't you want to get back?" Marshall asked.

"Of course I do, I just don't see the point in participating in this obnoxious show of…. friendship" She stated, turning to face away from the group of eager dogs and humans. "This is what friends do, and now that we're helping you, you're our friend" Rubble replied.

Laika rolled her eyes with a large sigh into the air, dragging her paws over to the group like a teenage girl, throwing her head to the side as she brought her paw to the top of the pile, looking back with an unamused pile.

"Thank you" Rocky thanked.

"I'm not doing this for friendship, I'm doing this so that you all can fix my Space ship and get me back to my time and my country" She unamusingly said as everyone else shrugged her off. "Alright everyone, Paw Patrol is on a roll!" Ryder shouted out as everyone else repeated the same shout in jubilee except of course for Laika herself.

Looking at the dogs around her to see them so happy and cheerful at such a moment, herself shaking her head in disbelief before looking ahead of her to see something as shocking. The Orange cat that she had seen from earlier in the vet, hanging from a rope that attached to his chest that led all the way up to the top of the lookout. His paws up against the large plains of glass that acted as the walls of the Lookout.

Laika looked on at the Feline looked eyes with her, giving nothing but a small smile and short wave before moving his paw up to the rope that held him up, contorting his paw as a single sharp talon sprung from its sheathe. Placing it in between the rope before swift moving his paw across, cutting the rope and letting him fall like a rock.

Laika rushed over to large window, pushing some of the crew out the way which quickly took notice as the mixed breed pressed herself to the glass window to look down to the grounds of the lookout, only to see nothing.

He was gone.

"Laika, What did you see?"

"Y-You guys saw it right, The cat" She stuttered, looking back to everyone else flabbergasted as to what on earth she was referring to. "Is that some sort of Russian phrase that we're too American to understand?" Marshall asked.

"No, The Cat, A Literal Cat was looking at me, It was up against the window and it just fell all the way down to the ground" She claimed. "Laika, there's no way a cat could make it all the way up here just to watch us" Ryder stated.

"Oh What if the cat was spying on us?" Marshall joked as everyone threw their heads back in laughter with the plain except for Laika, who in no way thought it was a joke. "Funny Marshall, anyways who wants Chicken?" Katie offered as they all separated from each other, mushing toward the kitchen area while leaving Laika to her own thoughts.

A Few hours after the meetup and discussion of the whole plan to get Laika to her own time, Nighttime had finally arrived. The moon was bright but dim enough for everyone in Adventure Bay to catch some shut eye after a long day of work, Except for Pebbles however as his job was just getting started.

There in a tree, Pebbles rested against a smooth branch looking up at the Lookout with a pair of Night Vision Goggles, Looking through the large glass windows with a chill attitude. Smacking and slamming a wad of chewing gum in his mouth as he passively observed all the actions inside the lookout.

"I spy with my little eye a big brit dog with an even bigger appetite" He jokingly commented with himself, obviously calling out Rubble and has tasty habits. Reverting his eyes away from the British bulldog and onto a German Shepherd chatting his time away from the Team Dalmatian, all whilst Skye laid her head to rest on Chase's fluff.

The Cockapoo repeatedly digging her head into the Police dog's fur, but in the end to no avail as not even a glance was given back to her. "Oh shit, That German Shepherd is either blind, stupid, or gay as fuck to not notice she's got the hots for him" He said.

"Wait, Focus Pebbles, I came here to do a Mission, Where the hell is that Commie Dog at?" He stated toward himself, looking up and down through the lookout for Laika but nothing came up.

"Cmon Laika, can't we just at least talk about it?"

"No, I said it twice to everyone else and I'll say it a third time to you, I'm perfectly fine with sleeping outside under a tree!" Suddenly hearing the Female Mixed breed's voice getting louder and louder by the sound of it, she was incoming his way.

Pebbles digging himself into the thick of the branches of result to stay hidden from incoming company, soon as predicted Laika came marching along with Rocky tailing behind her trying to talk some sense into her as well. "Laika, this isn't the Soviet Union, You wouldn't sleep out here if it was Snowing would you?"

"Of course I would, I slept on the streets of Moscow when I was a small pup" She proclaimed before slamming her canine body against the very tree that Pebbles had hid himself in, looking down to the both the Mixed Breeds arguing back and forth over comfort.

"I'm sorry that you had that kind of life Laika when you a pup, But inside we got so much more. We got Electricity, Pup Treats, Hot and Cold running water"

"Sounds like Namby Pamby American stuff to me, relying on your technology to get by, I'll survive out here with my superior soviet living"

"What about earlier when you Rubble challenged you to a Pizza eating Contest and you won?"

"That's totally different, Now just get out of my fur, Тупой американец(Stupid American)" She said before turning her side against the bark of tree, making sure she was facing away from Rocky. Rocky reach out to Laika but retracting his paw instead.

"I dunno what you just said, but it sounded really mean. I guess I'll see you in the morning then" He wished before starting his slow walk all the way back to the Lookout. Laika fixed with a pouted face as she no longer heard him nearby.

Slowly turning her head around to look back just to see if he was still there with a face with the tiniest hint of guilty before throwing her head back in the direction, she was in. "I don't need friends and I don't need him, I'm one hundred percent fine with staying out here"

Pebbles continuously glanced down at the Space dog, His heart racing like a marathon runner with his talons digging into the branch itself. looking down as he observed her movements turning from frustrated to stoic. Seeing her make no sudden moments as her breathing became ever so gentle.

Taking the chance as Pebbles took his opportunity to escape, just off the branch onto the grass and high tailing it down the hill, as silent as a mouse and as frightened someone who had seen one.

Rocky's body slowly rising as the Elevator brought him up to the main floor, The doors released from each other for him to arrive back in the Lookout. Stepping out and see all his friends stare back at him. "How'd it go?" Zuma asked.

"Bad, there's no point in arguing about her coming to sleep inside with us, She's made up her mind" Rocky commented, walking over to the Living Area and throwing himself down onto the sofa. "Shame, we're all looking forward to getting know her, but we can't if she won't give us the chance" Marshall said.

"Wait guys I have an awesome Idea, If we can't tell her she's our friend, Then we'll show her" Rocky shot up from the sofa with an idea in his brain, his tail waging and his face bright with excitement. Catching everyone's attention as well in the process.

"Alright, We huddle around, Here's the plan" Rocky invited as everyone canine piled in to listen in to the plan to finally get Laika not just to cooperate, but also let loose and have fun as well. After a few whispers, gossip and some tuning, the plan was properly discussed among all.

"You really think its going to work?" Chase asked.

"For sure, Skye and Everest can take Laika into to Town to distract her long enough until Chase, Marshall, Zuma and Rubble get it done, It'll be perfect" Rocky said.

"Wait, Why aren't you going to help, This is your idea after all" Rubble questioned the mixed breed. "I wish I could but I need to get to work on building the space ship. I only have a week to get it done so its best if I start asap" Rocky commented.
