A/N: Hello to all my faithful readers I'm sorry it took me so long to get this chapter out but its been a hectic time for me recently. But I'm back with another update and I really hope you enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 3

The rangers have just returned from Phadoes and have returned with the power they were sent after. Arriving in downtown Angel Grove to see the destruction caused by Zordetta and her minions.

"Looks like she didn't waist anytime attacking while we were away" Jason said

"We should get back to the command center and see what our next plan of action should be." Kim said

"Yeah guys we need to go speck with Zordon and discuss with him the nature of our new advisory" Billy stated to which everyone agreed

The rangers teleported to the command center. Arriving to find the sage and his robot companion working to connect the new powers to the morphing grid to allow them access to their new zords.

"Zordon we have some questions and did you see the destruction those monsters caused out there." Tommy stated then asked.

"Yes white ranger I have seen the destruction and what are your questions?" Zordon replied

"We first off who is Zordetta?" Zack asked

The command center was stone silent after the question was asked and the tone that Zack asked his question cause them worried that Zordon would make him wash the zords and the zord bay with a toothbrush. The way Zordon glared at them all before he spoke a question of his own.

"Who told you that name?" Zordon asked in response.

"We were informed of her while on Phadoes, it was Dulcea that explained who it was however she didn't explain how she was connected to you." Aisha explained to their mentor

"Ah yes leave it to Dulcea to spill out my secrets that I thought would stay on my home planet. I'm sorry rangers I thought that part of my past was behind me. Let me explain who Zordetta is.

Flashback

Eltar 10,000 years ago

Zordon and his Father sat in the judgment area discussing Zordetta's sentence.

"What happened out there son?" Elgus asked

"I found her transpiring with the enemy and the sector's power stone was exchanged and now we have to move swiftly to protect that sector before it falls under attack." Zordon explained

"I shall inform the council of your findings and let them pass judgment." Elgus explained.

Moments later he walked inside the counsil room to explain everything to them.

"Well dear brother she will be held accountable for the crimes she has committed and I will have no mercy for her being a traitor to our cause and our planet. Delious explained

" I understand dear brother." Elgus replied

Half an hour later the judgment room was full of people that would make up the courts for the planet eltar.

"You have heard your crimes against us and our planet, you are aloud one final statement." Delious stated.

"You are all fools and you deserve what is coming to you, especially my father and you dear brother." Zordetta exclaimed.

"You are here by banished from this place and you will live the rest of your days in exile." Delious said

About the time that two figures busted into the judgment room an evil cackle filled the room followed by purple lightening. The room was warmed with tenga and putties whom quickly attacked the occupants of the room. Forcing the guards engage the evil minions. The moment Ivan Ooze entered the room he swiftly approached Zordetta and freed her from the cuffs they then blasted the judge and everyone else they could see. Chaos broke out and the battle was on.

Rita found herself in front of Zordon and the two battled fiercely. The battle was mostly spent with Zordon on the defensive unfortunately for the Eltarian she cast a spell which trapped him in a time warp and she was about to strike the tube he was trapped in when it suddenly disappeared. Looking around she noticed that Elgus and Delious where coming out of their focus from sending Zordon to planet Earth along with his trusted assistant Alpha 5 with instructions to unlock the power coins.

That was their last event before the Eltarian's fell to the intruders who left the planet in ruins upon the ship Zordetta would come to call her own.

End flashback

Zordon explained the tragedy of his family and his home planet to his rangers.

"Wow I never know you had to go through that and I'm sorry it had to happen like that." Jason said.

"That is the story of how Alpha-5 and I came to your planet however before I was trapped I managed to trap Rita and her followers in there own prison. When it crashed on the moon and was opened that is when I sought out 5 teenagers with attitude and the power rangers were born, Now my past has returned and she is out for revenge against me and any that assist me." Zordon explained.

"That's why we were attacked so extremely in the altercation with those creatures and that skeletal monster." Billy stated

"What is our plan here guys, I mean we are a larger team now?" Kimberly asked

"We do what we do best beautiful and that's defend the earth. For now I say we take the rest that we have been given and think about the information received here today." Tommy explained.

"I say we visit the youth center cause I could totally use a burger and fries right about now I've been starving since Phadoes." Rocky offered

"Always thinking with your stomach Rocko." Zack said

"Your one to talk with your giant ice cream sundae's" Adam retorted

"Alright guys lets get to the youth center and feed those who may feel like they are starving and as Tommy suggested we should think about what Zordon told us here today." Jason said

The rangers teleported out of the command center and jogged over to the youth center to find it was closed for the day.

"Oh man now what are we gonna do for food." Zack and Rocky said in unison.

"Guys calm down this isn't the first time that Ernie has closed the youth center, and we could always go have a picnic at the park I'm sure we could all throw something together quickly." Trini stated to the group

However before they could put her suggestion into action Goldar and Scorpina showed up behind them.

"What's the matter rangers, Can't get inside?" Goldar smirked

"What have you done now, and what are you exactly?" Angela said

"I am your worst nightmare and I haven't done a thing yet, However you wont be going in there anytime soon rangers im afraid the owner has been otherwise entertained at the moment." Goldar snarled as he glared at the ten teens before him.

"ATTACK!" Scorpina yelled and the putties and tengas charged the rangers who had shifted into their morphing stance.

However Tommy called out "ninja ranger power now" they were instantly covered in their ninja robes and quickly took fighting stances to engage the putties

The battle was on the putties divided the team up into smaller groups and then Goldar and Scorpina decided to enter the battle themselves. Goldar chose to go after Jason while Scorpina targeted Tommy still not over his betrayal. Thus leaving the rest of the team to fend off the putties.

With Angela and Aisha.

"Eww stay back," Angela said as she kicked at an approaching puttie.

"Girl aim for the Z in the middle of their chest it makes battling them much easier." Aisha informed the newest member of the team.

"Alright" she said as she kicked out again as one of the putties approached her only this time she connected with the Z on its chest causing it to crumble to pieces. "I did it." she said as another puttie approached her from behind catching her off guard. Unfortunately the warning from Aisha was not fast enough and she was thrown to the ground.

Zack, Trini

Still not used to fighting the same creatures they fought for two years prior to the peace conference they found themselves back to back trying to keep up with the clay creatures they use to whip the floor with.

"Zack look out" Billy's yelled warning came to late and he found himself on the ground followed shortly by Trini.

Flipping over to were his friends were Billy helped them to there feet and the three of them fended off the Putties quickly.

"Thanks for the assist Billy, guess we are a little rusty with this battling stuff.

"Hey we are a team we help each other when we can." Billy replied

"Guys maybe we should go help the others." Trini said breaking them out of there conversation.

"Yeah good idea." They said

With Kimberly, Rocky and Adam

She had just kicked a down tenga when three more charged her.

Overpowering her they were able to carry her away from the view of the other two rangers.

"Adam, where did Kim go?" Rocky asked after he looked around.

"Im not sure lets take care of the rest of these tengas and then we will find her.

Meanwhile with Tommy and Jason

They are battling the two golden warriors and trying to keep them from destroying the youth center. Flipping out of the range of Goldar's attack the gold ranger jumped and kicked Goldar's sword out of his hand. Meanwhile Tommy noticed the tengas carrying Kimberly up to Scorpina. Loosing his focus he was knocked on his ass. "What's the matter white ranger you don't have time to take a nap." Scorpina spat at him.

"Let me go big bird" Kimberly shouted catching the attention of her big brother who had just caused Goldar to drop his sword. He looked and noticed that everyone was busy with the putties and tengas. Acting quickly he tornado spin kicked Goldar and leaped for the tengas holding the pink ranger captive. Scorpina anticipated the rescue attempt and moved to block Jason's attempt to save his sister. What she didn't expect was Tommy to return to his feet and kick her away from Jason so the two of them could attack the tengas holding Kimberly. The two kicked the outer tenga holding Kim allowing her to flip the last of the tengas holder her over her shoulder. The power trio turned to find Goldar and Scorpina had returned to their feet. Before they could react Goldar and Scorpina grabbed them and returned to the lunar palace.

A/N: Cliffhanger I know but I'm hoping the next update will come quicker than this one.
