The group worked together expertly to awaken the sleeping wolverine, falcon, and crane.
"Rangers focus just a little more you've almost reached them." Zordon said
They grasped each other's hands to strengthen the bond of the gathered rangers. Moments after focusing while holding hands, Jason blinked his eyes open seconds later Kimberly Tommy followed. However, when Tommy opened his eyes, he noticed that he was looking at his body.
"What's going on?" he said only to freak out again because what he said came out in Kimberly's voice.
"Zordon how could this have happened?" Billy asked.
"I'm unsure my wolf." Zordon answered
"How can we fix this?" Trini asked.
"We need to use the bio scanners to see if there is an uncomplicated way to reverse this situation.
"What situation?" came the voice of the last ranger to wake up. "Oh my god" Kimberly said shocked that she sounded like her big brother.
"Did anyone get the plates off the truck that hit me?" Jason asked as he slowly rose to his feet.
"Alpha-5 would you assist me in scanning them?" Billy asked.
"I Yi Yi yes Billy the scanners are right this way." Alpha-5 said as he walked toward the medical bay.
Returning with the scanners, "Please take a seat and we will scan all of you just to be on the safe side." Billy informed his friends.
As they sat on the cots, they were resting on Billy walks close to scan each of them. Scanning Jason (Kimberly) first he then moved to Kimberly (Tommy) scanned and then moved to stand in front of Tommy (Jason).
"We should have the results of the scans in just a few minutes." Alpha-5 said
Before anything else could be done or said the alarms blared indicating a monster attack in Angel Grove.
"This should be interesting we have three confused rangers." Aisha stated.
"Who are you calling confused?" Jason's body spoke however it was in Kimberly's speaking context.
"You will have to use the morphing call for the physical form not your mental personality." Zordon informed
"Alright" the three mixed up rangers said.
Stepping forward Tommy (Jason) called "It's morphin time!"
"White Ranger Power" Jason/Tommy shouted
"Black Ranger Power" Adam hollered
"Pink Ranger Power" Tommy/Kimberly yelled
"Blue Ranger Power" Billy called
"Yellow Ranger Power" Aisha stated
"Red Ranger Power" Rocky bellowed
"Green Ranger Power" Zack yelled
"Orange Ranger Power" Trini shouted
"Gold Ranger Power" Kimberly/Jason bellowed finishing the morph.
Once morphed they teleported to the park.
"Hello Rangers welcome to your destruction." Goldar snarled
"Yeah, you're not so tough" Tommy said but it did not sound so menacing.
"You're not so tough little Pink Ranger." Goldar snapped out.
Frustrated Tommy (Kim's body) charged and attempted a jumping spin-kick but not being used to the shorter limbs he missed and landed on his ass.
"Tommy!" Kimberly ruses to his side however it looked like his best friend coming to his aide
"Are you alright?" Kimberly (Jason) asked
"I'm fine I'm just a little embarrassed." Tommy (Kimberly) confessed.
"Come on handsome you have to get back on your feet and try again." Kimberly (Jason) said.
"Kim please don't do that while we are still mixed up?" Tommy (Kimberly) asked.
"Sure, thing bro or should I say sis since you're in my body?" Kimberly (Jason) said teasingly
Meanwhile the surrounded area stood still in shock at what was going on. Tired of waiting Goldar shouted ATTACK! Tengas charged at the Rangers
"Spread out" Tommy said from Kimberly's body.
As they shifted into fighting stances as the tengas rushed into attack the rangers. Each of the rangers are battling three tengas with Tommy (Kimberly) taking on Goldar as he normally does. This time being more intune to his physical stature got closer before attempting to execute a kick/punch. The other unmixed rangers were handling themselves as they normally would. As for Kimberly (Jason) and Jason (Tommy) Jason was not really having any problems as he and Tommy's stature are similar. Kimberly is having a similar problem as Tommy did due to the difference of statures. She was unable to fight in the style she has become accustomed to. With three of the team members being unable to fight as well as they normally would cause the others to have to pick up the slack that resulted in them being overwhelmed. With the tengas overpowering them with numbers and the added distraction of the mixed-up rangers they were forced to retreat.
Earlier in the Command Center
Zordon, Alpha 5, and Zondar were working vigorously to correct the issue that they are currently dealing with.
"I've got it" Alpha 5 said.
The order of the artifacts was incorrect to properly return them in the state they belong." He continued.
"So, what you're saying is if we have them stand in the middle and put the artifacts in the proper order they should return to normal?" Zondar explained questioningly.
"That should work." Zordon said.
Just then the rangers teleported into the Command Center.
"Rangers, we must correct the problem quickly Zordon said.
As the three of the mixed-up rangers moved to the middle of the center. Again, everyone gathered around to perform the ritual. This time during the proceedings the lights flickered and dimmed slightly for long moments. Then each ranger in the middle of the group glowed their current mental color and then shifted around before settling on the correct body.
"Alright I'm back and I sound like me again." Kimberly said.
"Everyone should be back to normal, and we still have a threat to deal with." Tommy said just before the alarms went off signaling another attack in Angel Grove.
"Rangers, you must keep your current thought the Hate master can take control of your mind and fill it with hate, you must remain in control, or it will spell disaster for everyone." Zordon explained
"We have to go and take care of this hate spreading monster for good." Tommy said followed by Back to action!
That simple statement automatically teleported them back in the park to find the disturbance there.
Before the attack was ordered up on the moon.
Zordetta and her minions were in the throne room except for Zedd. He had snuck off earlier.
"Goldar you will take a pack of skullbots with you and the Hate master and attack Angel Grove, I want you to be vicious and keep advancing on them." Zordetta said with a wicked look of determination on her face.
"Yes, my empress, I will not fail you this time." Goldar said as he bowed. Moments later they teleported out of the palace.
Meanwhile outside on the surface of the moon
Zedd was aboard his personal zord Serpentara attempting to contact his home planet of Serpia.
"This is Lord Zedd of the royal family requesting contact to General Grog of the royal army." He said into his viewing screen.
After a long pause he got a response.
"What is thy bidding my master." Grog replied.
"I need you to gather forces and travel to the distant planet of Phaedos. Once you have reached the planet find the master warrior called Dulcea and destroy her and then the Ninjetti temple." Zedd ordered.
"It will be done my lord." Grog replied
"Once she is taken care of set your coordinates for the Milkey-Way galaxy come to the moon, there is an annoyance I'm having difficulties with." Zedd explained
"Yes, my lord should I contact you once I arrive?" Grog inquired
"No, you will need to prepare for a stealth attack." Zedd informed
Zordetta had been looking out over the surface of the moon and spotted a dragon shaped zord.
"What is that?" she asked the occupants of her throne room.
"It appears there is a lifeform upon the vessel." Zandra stated.
"The only person that is not accounted for is your blasted husband." Zordetta snarled toward Rita.
"Just what would he be doing out there?" Zandra asked the former empress of evil.
"I have no idea; he doesn't tell me everything." she lied.
"We shall soon see." Zordetta stated.
Back on earth
The rangers have arrived at the Angel Grove Park, standing across the way was a squad of skullbots, Goldar, and the dreaded Hate master.
"Oh, the Power Rangers about to be in danger." Said the Hate master
"You won't infect any of us this time." Tommy said as he and the rest of the team slip into fighting stances
"ATTACK!" Goldar shouted.
The skullbots rushed forward followed by Goldar and the Hate master. Trini, Aisha, Zack, and Billy split left while Angela, Rocky, Kimberly, and Adam split right leaving Jason and Tommy to stay in the middle. Once they split into smaller groups, they spread out to give each other room to work it turned into a three to one ratio. Zack used his hip-hop keto skills to keep the skullbots on their toes however it didn't work as well as it had against the putties. Similar things were happening with everyone. Getting frustrated Rocky pulled out the power sword to chop down the skullbots. This gave the rest of them an idea and soon each brandished their personal weapons to deal with the overwhelming threat. Adam, and Rocky made quick work of the group of skullbots surrounding them and then they chose that time to double team Goldar with spin kicks to the Villan's chest. Leaving Jason and Tommy who just defeated the skullbots in between them and Hate master before they could attack the monster pulled his power and began to infect Jason and Tommy.
"You two are pals now but will make you threat each other fowl." he said as his power shot out and blasted them both in the chest causing them to be knocked to the ground infected with hate for the other.

Moments pass without movement from either of them or the monster. This gives his evil powers to take effect. The two are soon filled with rage and start to advance on each other.
"What are you looking at? Tommy snarled.
"For starters, a pathetic excuse of a ranger and a piss poor leader!" Jason exclaimed
"Well, if you were so great, tell me why Zordon chose me to take over?" Tommy shouted as he advanced further toward Jason.
"No matter the color or position you know deep down you aren't really on of us it's only a matter of time before Kimberly realizes what a failure you truly are." Jason yelled
"You son of a bitch." Tommy said as he lunged at Jason.
"Yeah, that's right show your true colors after all you were Rita's EVIL GREEN RANGER." Jason shouted as he evaded Tommy's advance on him.
"Oh yeah well, I guess I should finish what I started years ago in the dark dimension." Tommy said.
"You wish you are to slow Oliver." Jason said baiting Tommy as he himself advance and shifted into a better battle position.
"Oh yeah, well at least I didn't give up my responsibilities and run off with my girlfriend to fight for world peace." Tommy snarled as he leaped toward Jason and punched him with a left hook.
Jason expertly spun with the punch and retaliated with a spin kick which Tommy ducked. "Well at least my powers did not need to be reenergized or specially made." Jason said as he jumped to attack with a right hook.
While they are bickering back and forth the other rangers have finished with the skullbots and made their way over.
"Your just not worthy of anything you have received you pompous asshole." Jason said as he lunged again only this time Zack and Billy have made it closer to them. The others were keeping an eye on Goldar and the Hate master who were just watching the handy work of the current monster attacking the power rangers. While Rocky and Adam were holding their leader back from attacking a restrained Jason. Kimberly approached them and told them that she could handle him. With the rangers paying more attention to the conflict within the group, Goldar chose that time to attack Rocky cut him off followed closely by Adam. Goldar wasted no time in attacking the two of them. Rushing toward and swiping his sword against Rocky's chest and then backhanded Adam hard enough to knock them both to the ground. He then made a b line for Tommy and Jason. The four unsuspecting rangers were caught off guard when Goldar reached them he easily took them to the ground by simply tackling them. This caused Tommy and Jason's current situation to blame each other for getting attacked.
"Way to go Jason, dealing with you and the overgrown monkey knocked all of us on our asses." Tommy snapped.
"You two need to stop before it causes more issues for all of us." Billy stated.
"Billy's right you guys need to overcome the spell." Zack said.
The other rangers by now have made it over. Rocky and Adam give Goldar a little payback from his attack on them earlier. Rocky landed a flying kick to his chest followed by Adam's rolling split kick which landed on Goldar's chest again. Goldar stumbled back and dropped to a knee, right next to the Hate master who was relaxing next to a tree.
"What are you doing? Get them!" Goldar ordered
"Sorry Goldie, I don't work for you" the monster said before he disappeared.
Kimberly and the girls surrounded Goldar. "So, you going to retreat or stay to get your ass kicked?" Aisha asked.
Without another word Goldar retreated knowing it was his best choice.
Meanwhile on the distant planet of Phaedos.
General Grog arrived and his platoon marched through the jungle looking for the temple and the plateau. As they are walking through the jungle, they do not notice the dinosaur bones come to life. A tail whip knocks them into the trees while the stegosaurus charged the army head-on. They stop and take aim and fire upon the skeletal dinosaur. While the triceratops approached from behind them. "General we are surrounded." said his lieutenant.
"What are you doing here?" Dulcea demanded
"Who are you?" General Grog asked.
"I am the planet protector. What business do you have here?" Dulcea stated and then asked.
"Your destruction!" Grog snarled as he grew large and kicked each of the dinosaurs away from his army.
"General Grog your reputation proceeds you." Dulcea said
Grog then charged toward her she quickly changed into her owl form and flew toward the plateau. Grog swiped at her missing but just barely, so she flew higher but as she tries to climb in the air Grog swiped down again this time, he connected with her sending her out of the bird form and she landed on the plateau then grog cleared a path for his army to find her and destroy everything in sight. The army reaches her but before they could attack the dinosaurs returned charging in a kamikaze style and crushed the small army leaving General Grog to fight Dulcea. Grog felt it best to take out her defenders, so he brandished his battle axe and drove it down into the back of the triceratops, then quickly swung again which resulted in decapitating the stegosaurus. Their tails twitched one last time before falling to the ground for one last time never to move again. Grog took the time to charge toward Dulcea swiping down with his brandished war axe. Dulcea rolled out of the way the axe that connected with the ground knocking a piece of the floor away. He then swiped sideways cracking the alter used to find the rangers animal spirits. Dulcea struggled to stand only to have to duck and axe being swung at her which resulted in the axe being embedded in the alter this time knocking off a large piece. Without the axe Dulcea felt on an even level. She stood and charged however with a little of a limp. Grog waited and when she was close enough, he then backhanded her into the alter with her shoulder connecting with the tip of the axe blade. Before Grog could cause any more damage to her Ninjor arrived and defended Dulcea.
"Back you vial creature." he said as he blocked the axe blade with his katana.
"Here to save the useless being." Grog snarled as he pushed down with his axe
"You have violated sacred ground you retched beast." Ninjor said as he pushed up with his katana.
"Well in that case maybe I should do this." Grog said as he swung his war axe at the altar, Ninjor dove to cover Dulcea as Grogs war axe drove through the altar effectively destroying it.
He then swung it again downward through the center of the altar driving the pieces out of the foundation causing the plateau to shift and start to fall apart.
"Your destruction is inevitable." Grog said before he teleported back to his ship.
"Dulcea we have to go, or we will plummet to our doom." Ninjor explained
The only this she could do in response was a slight barely noticeable nod. Ninjor then scooped her up and teleported to earth. At the same time, the ninjetti temple was surrounded by four creatures in roves stand evenly spaced around the temple chanting in a strange language. Moments later the temple was transported off Phaedos to the hidden gardens protected by the dessert of despair. Then they disappeared as mysteriously and as quickly as they appeared.
Back on Earth
The rangers have returned to the command center and placed Tommy and Jason in force fields so they would stop fighting each other, and before they turned their attention on the rest of the team. All a sudden a teleportation beam entered the command center.
"Zordon we don't have much time, she was attacked, and they destroyed the plateau." Ninjor rushed out silencing all in the area.
"What happened?" Zordon asked
"She was outnumbered and was easily beaten, and her home is destroyed" Ninjor stated
"Alpha run a bio scan on Dulcea." Zordon said.
Alpha walked into the medical bay and quickly returned with the bio scanner, walking over to Dulcea he asked her to hold still. He then ran the scan over her body checking for injuries.
"The results should be back in a few moments." Zordon said
The group of rangers gathered around Dulcea for support of a friend and ally.
"Dulcea is there anything we can do to help?" Aisha asked
"There... is only...one thing I... can do." Dulcea said as she struggled to stand. Once upright on her feet she summoned all her remaining power.
"Dulcea, no you don't have to do this" Ninjor said.
"This is the only way my power remains on the side of good Serpians invaded and destroyed the plateau it is only a matter of time before my lifeforce will be drained." Dulcea explained
Everyone in the room was tearing up due to the impending loss of a great ally and friend. Even Alpha was experiencing emotion for a robot. Dulcea started to glow white.
"Somethings happening." Billy said
They all watched as Dulcea vanished and became light. They watched the light intently until it disappeared into the command center console and unknowingly into the morphin grid directly.
"Where did she go?" Kimberly whimpered.
"She is now part of the morphin grid her sacrifice will give each of you a boost in power." Zordon explained.
"Mourn the loss rangers but do not dwell on it, remember her and trust that she will be with you always." Ninjor said.
The rangers all look sad including Tommy and Jason who have been released from the containment fields. After being purified by some of Dulcea's remaining magic, watching the sacrifice they did not notice the lights that entered to cure them from the hatemaster's spell.
"Now Wha... Tommy was interrupted by the alarms blearing
On the moon
Grog landed just outside the palace and sent a mental message to Lord Zedd
"I am here by serpentera master. Grog said.
Moments later Zedd appears by his ship. "You have taken care of the retched master warrior of Phaedos?" Zedd questioned.
"Yes, my Lord." grog replied
"Wonderful, now when does the army arrive?" Zedd asked.
"The battalion should be arriving momentarily my second in command is leading them." Grog said
"Very well, once they arrive, we will attack." Lord Zedd stated followed by an evil laugh.
Little did they know they were being spied on. "Ah planning an attack there Zeddy boy, they only question is on who?" Zandra asked herself aloud from her quarters in the palace.
Unknown to Zandra the former queen of evil is sitting in her & Zedd's quarter attempting to contact master vile (her father). However, he was not answering his whirlpool. "Where could he be?" she asked
Zandra chose to walk by the door on her way to find her daughter. Rita feels the presents of a still unfamiliar being. She quickly waves her hand over the whirlpool dismissing it.
Zandra found her daughter and informed her of the information she overheard from both Rita and Zedd.
"You heard what?" Zordetta asked
"I am not sure who he is planning to attack but he has a battalion sized army arriving soon. That blubbering fool Rita is attempting to contact her daddy." Zandra explained.
"Well, we should find out who is on our side and who is on theirs." Zordetta said wickedly.
"Not to mention your head general of your army of exiled." Zandra reminded.
"Ah yes, my lovely niece Amelia, I will send word to her at once.
Outside the palace.
Ships are landing under a stealth cloak to hide their numbers. The serpians deboard and bow to their lord.
"We are invading earth once we destroy the power rangers we will return here and reclaim my palace and then I will reclaim my throne from that power hungry Eltarian bitch." Zedd explained rallying the troops.
"Lead the way master" Grog said.
The army of serpia followed their leader to earth in the attempt to take control of earth.
Back on Earth
The alarms are blare signaling an attack.
"Rangers observe the viewing globe, (all 10 turn to the globe) Zedd is wasting little time after Goldar's failure." Zordon explained
"Well guys it's our responsibility to protect the earth," Tommy said stepping in front of the group.
"Bro, we need to..."
"After we save the planet and put Zedd in his place." Tommy said cutting Jason off.
"Well let's go before they destroy downtown." Kimberly said.
"It's Morphin Time." Tommy shouted. As he and the others all put their left hand behind their backs.
Moments later, they arrive downtown to find Zedd's army of serpians causing all kinds of chaos. Wasting little time, they quickly flip, leap, or jump into action. Adam, Rocky, & Billy land in the middle of a small group of the serpians. The army turned on them and quickly overpowered them due to not knowing the enemy well. This was happening all around where the rangers were battling and not fairing so well. Zack was finding his hip-hop keto was not enough to stay up on his feet. Aisha and Angela were doing the best they could not to be beat down by evading the attacks. Not getting his is good but they were not making any offensive either. Trini and Kimbely were much the same as Aisha and Angela. Only able to make minimal counter attacks but not much damage was done to their enemies. Jason and Tommy were having trouble staying balanced. Zedd appeared in the middle of the street holding a captive civilian The rangers are all blasted to the street.
"Come on guys we can't give up." Tommy grunted out, as they all struggle to stand when they hear the four ladies gasp. At that point they knew Zedd had fully escalated the battle.
"Kaplan?" Kimberly said through sobs.
"Ki... Kimberly" Principal Kaplan struggled out.
"This should prove to you just how far I am willing to go to destroy all of you and then I will take back my palace using your spirit animals." Zedd stated
What he did not realize was he was being watched by a hidden hooded figure. Once they had heard they teleported back to the lunar palace to inform Zordetta of the betrayal.
"Zedd he is innocent let him go!" Tommy said,
"You are in no position to give orders around here white ranger." Zedd snarled just before he forced Kaplan to his knees, they all rushed to help but, in a flash, Zedd snapped his neck before they could reach the two of them to stop Zedd.
Sametime on the moon.
"Hello Ameila do what do I owe the pleasure?" Zordetta asked.
"I bring you news bur remember not to punish the messenger." Amelia stated
"Out with it already you are starting to bore me my dear, my patients are thin as it is." Zordetta warned.
"I was just in Angel Grove, and I overheard Zedd explained how he plans to retake his palace." Amelia informed.
"So, he is plotting against me?" She questioned
"Yes empress, and I am also here to inform you that the M51 galaxy has fallen." Amelia informed.
"You dealt with the ruler and all their followers?" She asked her head general
"Yes auntie" Amelia replied.
Returning to Angel Grove
The female rangers have removed their helmets and are now being comforted by the guys who are weeping over the loss. Zedd had taken the small victory as he knew this would affect them for a while.
"What do we do now?" Rocky asked.
Nobody had an answer. The citizens had started to return to the streets the still fully morphed rangers formed a circle around the others, however not quickly enough as Caroline and Pierre were out doing some shopping when she saw a slight glimpse of her daughter. Being the person, she is chose to investigate.
"Kimberly is that you?" she asked as she approached the group.
Shocked Kimberly turned to see her mother and Pierre standing there with a mix of anger, shock, & worry on their faces.
"What happened?" Pierre asked
"Why did you not tell me about this, and do the rest of your parents know that you are the power rangers?" As she is speaking, they all turn to face her, and she starts piecing it all together.
"As for what happened our enemy Lord Zedd came here and attacked with an army captured Principal Kaplan and killed him right in front of us." Tommy stated as he removed his helmet.
"We should move this to a more secluded location" Trini suggested
"You all could go to our house and wait while we report this to the authorities, once we are finished, we will meet you back at the house to discuss this further." Pierre suggested.
"Sounds like a clever idea." Billy said right before the rangers teleported out just as the rest of the public started to filter back out from their hiding places. Moments later police sirens could be heard. Soon captain stone exits from his vehicle and quickly approached the crime scene and began with his first question
"Does anybody know what happened here? He asked
"The villain of the power rangers showed up and used Mr. Kaplan as a hostage and then this is the result of that." Caroline explained.
"Alright so there is no witness to explain the details further?" he asked as another squad car arrived on scene and out stepped Bulk and Skull but once they stepped close enough to notice who the victim was, they both lost all their bravado. Teary-eyed Skull asked what happened. I will explain after I file my report, I need one of you contact the cornier we need a transport and autopsy.
On the moon
Zordetta is sitting on her throne when Zedd arrives.
"So, you take care of the rangers all by yourself and without my approval?" she snarled at him.
"My plan wa... "You are no longer in charge remember which means they are my plans. I have some news for you Zedd." Zordetta said cutting him off.
At that time Goldar entered carrying the head of Grog. "You ordered and I obey my empress." Goldar said in his eerie voice.
"And now you will go retrieve Rita and the three of us will discuss what is up for your treachery." Zordetta said
"What are you talking about?" Zedd replied.
She threw her left arm up and a little bubble screen floating up on the screen showed his actions from earlier. After the moment ended and yet she asked him again.
"Did you have the plan to overthrow me and destroying the power rangers?"
"You stole my palace and my power; you expect me to just be opp... Being tired of Zedd running his mouth she summoned her sword and decapitated him mid-sentence. At the same time Goldar returned with Rita in toe. She caught sight of Zordetta cutting her husband's head off.
"What are you do... (Rita ran toward Zordetta but before Rita could reach her, she had a sword buried in her chest. I am the leader of all you minions anyone steps out of line, and they will suffer the same fate as these two, am I understood?" Zordetta stated.
