Hello everyone I'm back with another power rangers fan fic I'm not quite sure of the direction of this fic but I'm hoping you all will give me feedback and inspiration to continue this in a good direction.
A/N: This will take place in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers era slightly AU but only certain rangers will make it into this fic. (Sorry to all who like her but no Katherine in this fic)
Disclaimer: I don't own anything you recognize just the plot (only on permission originally this plot was in the mind of a very important person to me she has given me permission to finish this story)
A/N 2: Their will be an older version and a younger version of some characters in this and maybe the next chapter. To keep confusion down the names will be full names for the older characters. ( Billy/William or Dr. Cranston)
Ninjas in Hiding
Chapter 8
On the moon
Rito returned with his captives, in the throne room where Zordetta was waiting for him.
"Well done Rito now take the prisoners' to the dungeon, make sure they are comfortable they will be here for a while." Zordetta said with a gleem in her eyes and a snarl on her face.
"Yes master as you command." Rito said as Goldar entered the throne room, Bulk and Skull's eyes go wide showing how terrified they were.
Catching this Zordetta ordered Goldar to assist Rito taking the prisoners to the dungeon, to which he obeyed. Moments later they were forcing the humans into a cell.
"Your gonna be real sorry when the Power Rangers show up to rescue us." Ernie said.
"I wouldn't be so sure of your little band of super heroes this time." Goldar snarled out.
"What have you done with them creep!" Skull said feeling safe being in the cell. Reaching in Rito pulled him into the bars quickly and then released him letting him fall to the floor. The rest of the cell occupants rushed to check on Skull, allowing the two henchmen to return to the throne room.
Meanwhile back on earth (Command center)
"Alpha did you find out what caused the disturbance?" Zondar asked.
"Aye yi yi yi yi I'm afraid not its like it arrived and left all in the same instant.
"It didn't even leave a trace to follow?" Aisha questioned
"No Sha its as if whatever it was carried no molecular signal to acquire." Billy informed the group.
"Rangers there is nothing we can do about the disturbance without a signal to track it, why don't you return to your homes relax while we have the reprieve." Zordon suggested.
"Well there is a sale at the mall and we could spend time shopping." Kimberly said to which the other girls squealed and the boys groaned. Why don't we go to my house and drive from there? Kimberly offered. the group teleported out of the command center. Landing in the backyard they find the group of mothers sitting around chatting. They became quiet when they noticed the group of teens arrive.
"What are you guys up to?" Caroline asked
"Well Kimberly was telling us about the sale going on at the mall, so we were gonna check that out." Angela informed. The groups fathers arrived in the backyard returning with the setup for an evening of fun.(horseshoes, washers, Lawn darts, ect.)
"Well we need to talk to each of you separately it is something important. After we finish discussing what we need to you all can get together and go to the mall or whatever." Caroline said
The Fathers returned with the supplies for a barbeque. Once everybody is together the sets of parents split up and took there kids to separate locations inside the backyard to explain everything to them.
With Kimberly and her parents.
"We have been given the opportunity to take in two young boys who have unfortunately been left without parents. We have chosen to adopt them into our family." Caroline said.
"What happen to their parents?" Kimberly asked
"They were in a horrible car accident, hit by a drunk driver." Pierre said.
"Well I'll welcome them with open arms and be the best big sister they will ever have." Kimberly said.
"So your on board with this that's good news, we will be signing the paperwork later in the week they officially move in with us as soon as we deal with that.
With Zack and his parents
"Zack do you remember that family from down the street?" Henry asked his son
"Yeah they have that big Halloween decorations every year." Zack said
"Yes they do however they are getting ready to move and are a current foster family to a young boy." Janice said.
"Ok, what does that mean?" he asked
"They have asked us to take him because he is already setup here, you know how hard it is to move when your young. You remember when we moved here during your kindergarten year. You had to make new friends and start fresh in a new town." Henry explained to his son
"Yeah, so you guys are wanting to take him in so he doesn't have to go through that?" Zack asked
"Yeah but on a more personal level we were talking about adopting him and giving him a family." Janice said.
"Alright! I get a little brother this is awesome." Zack said excited
With Adam and his parents
"What's up mom?" Adam asked noticing the look on his mothers face
"We are going to be taking in a little girl whos being pulled from her parents house." Richard explained
"What, why?" Adam asked
"Her parents aren't the best set of parents, they aren't treating her right." Lee-may informed
"Well then maybe being placed with us is the best thing for her." Adam said
"Yeah and if things work out she will permanently be placed with us." Lee-may said
"Well mom I've always felt like a close big brother to Aisha, I'm sure I will be a good big brother to this little girl." Adam said
"I'm glad you feel that way, Kira will be one lucky little girl with a protective big brother like you." Adam said.
With Tommy and his parents
"Do you remember how happy we were when you became part of our family?" James asked his son
"Yeah dad, why do you ask?" Tommy wondered
"Well you know dad and I cant have children naturally, so our only option is adoption. We have found another little boy that has a very empty home life right now." Melissa said
"What do you mean by that mom?" Tommy asked
"His parents belong to an exploration company, they go out on digs for fossils and things like that. They aren't home a lot and he is left alone very often. When there neighbors called child services and they are claiming child abandonment on them cause they have been gone over a week longer than what was planned." Melissa explained.
"So how did you get the opportunity to take him in?" Tommy asked
"Well with my job i was close to the situation and I talked it over with your father and we have decided that he would be better off with us than in some foster care or group home." Melissa informed
"I agree with your mother and I can't wait for the little boy to make it here." James said
"When will he be arriving?" Tommy asked
"That will depend on the transportation, you see we aren't the only family adopting a child from the same town he is from. The five children will be traveling together. They are all being brought to Angel Grove." James explained
After the conversations with their parents they returned to the little celebration, with good food and good friends. The night was filled with good times, games and an all around fun time for all. After it started to get dark everybody made the decision to go home.
The next morning the girls had all met at the youth center and then they were headed to the mall.
"That's funny Ernie is normally open by now." Trini said
She didn't have to wait long before the other ladies showed up and they were headed to the mall. While the girls are gone the guys all met at the park for some flag football.
"Alright Zack, Rocky your with me as for the rest of you guys spread out and the endzone is down there." Jason said
Billy, Adam, and Tommy went to their side and the game began.
At the mall
"So ladies where do we want to start?" Aisha asked.
How about Pacsun, and then we can hit Macy's, and JC Penny's." Trini suggested
"I also want to stop at Toys R Us and get some stuffies for the children." Angela said.
"That's a really good idea Angela that might help them feel more at home. Then we will break for lunch" Kimberly said
Earlier at the park
The guys had taken a break to eat lunch. Rocky ate his second lunch.
"What do you guys want to do now?" Adam asked.
We could head over to Ernie's." Rocky said
"You can't still be hungry." Zack exclaimed.
Just then a group of putties & Skullbots appeared in the park.
"Well I guess we know what we are doing now." Tommy said as the others slip up beside him and shift into a fighting stance. The putties charged the rangers. Zack and Adam broke away from the group and drew some putties toward them. Quick thinking and agile reflexes helped them combat the dimwitted grey goons. After their friends moved into action its as if it caused a chain reaction with the rest of the group. Soon every ranger was in action.
At the mall same time
"Wow girl you really know how to shop." Angela said as they fell into chairs at the food court.
"I really missed this while I was away." Trini said
"I hope you guys worked up an apatite." Aisha said as she walked over to the table with Chinese food.
"You may have missed shopping but it does look like your out of practice Tri." Kimberly said with a giggle.
"Well no there were malls over there." Trini joked back.
"Alright I say we eat lunch and right bac..." A familiar beep cut off Aisha's statement. Dumping the trey of food and rushing to a secluded area the girls answer their communicators.
"Go ahead Zordon we read you." Kimberly said
"Your fellow rangers are surrounded by Zordetta's goons and a pack of putties and need your assistance." Zordon said.
"We are on the way" Trini replied.
Back at the park
The guys were surrounded by the putties with the skullbots inching in closer. Just then the Hatemaster appeared. Before either of them could make an attack on the rangers the girls teleported in between their friends and the goons, surprising the grey clay and the skeletal creatures.
"Hey guys heard you could use some help." Kimberly quipped
"Thanks ladies." Rocky said
"Good now all of the power rangers are here, time to turn you against your peers." Hatemaster stated before charging them.
"Everybody scram!" Jason bellowed knowing they were unprotected at the moment. Diving left and right they all evaded the incoming attack.
"Alright rangers Its morphing time." Tommy shouted
seconds later they were morphed and ready to take on the monster and goons. Spreading out they took the fight to the putties and skullbots. Making quick work of the minions they quickly found themselves across the battlefield from The Hatemaster. Before they could move against the monster however Zordetta made the monster grow by sending a beam from her throne.
"Well now puny power rangers I shall destroy you with a quick stomp of my foot." Hatemaster bellowed.
"We need ninjazord power now." they all said in unison.
(A/N) There will be two different megazord forms. One is how it appeared on the show. The other is a bit different Crane is still the head, wolf and ape are still the arm. The Bear is the torso however the hind legs drop down and link up with the rabbit and Cheetah. the tortoise will separate and be extra armor making it look more like a Samurai the wolverine will also separate and become claws on the hands and feet leaving the frog and falcon to act as auxiliary zords. The Rabbit, Cheetah, and Wolverine can also act as arms if needed.
"Ninja megazord formation 2" the rangers called second after the megazord showed up Hatemaster attacked with a double punch which caused the Megazord to stumble slightly. Recovering quickly the megazord punched the Hatemaster causing the monster to stumble backwards at the same time Adam moved the frog zord behind the monster causing it to trip and fall to the ground.
"Alright guys change modes." Tommy said.
Now in ninja mega falconzord mode they took off to the sky's using the aerial final strike as Hatemaster stood up. the Hatemaster fell and exploded once it hit the ground.
"No they destroyed that wonderful monster." Zordetta snarled. I'll get you rangers.
"Daughter you know if they weren't here you could destroy that brother of yours and take control of that reached planet." Zandra informed.
"Yes that would make it easier mother but how would I manage that?" Zordetta stated
"I just happen to have access to some items that would send them somewhere out of our way." Zandra inform her daughter.
"Tell me mother just how will they fall for the trap?" Zordetta asked her interest successfully peaked.
Back on earth
With the battle over the group of rangers decided to go to the youth center.
"What gives Ernie's never closed" Rocky said
"That's strange it was closed this morning also." Aisha informed the group.
"What do you think is going on?" Zack asked
Just then Preston and Alicia arrived wanting to stop for lunch.
"Hey kids Ernie sick or something?" Preston asked noticing the place was locked up and dark inside.
"Oh hi mom and dad, we really don't know." Jason explained.
"Why don't you guys come back to the house and was can all have lunch." Alicia suggested
"Sounds good to me I'm hungry." Rocky said
"When aren't you hungry Rocko." Adam and Tommy asked in unison.
"We will meet you over there Mr. and Mrs. Scott." Angela said.
"Sounds good, see you all in a little bit." Preston said
Jason's parents leave and the teens head toward their cars. Before they could reach the cars however Goldar and Rito showed up with a group of Zedds old putties.
"Going somewhere Power Brats." Goldar snarled.
"Actually yeah lunch is on the agenda and your in the way of that." Rocky shouted.
"Your missed lunch is the least of your problems red ranger." Rito shouted back.
"Attack!" Goldar yelled the putties surrounded the rangers and they didn't notice Scorpina arrive behind them with a device to send them through time. (similar to the one Goldar used in Green no more)
As they fought off the putties and avoided the attacks from the two henchmen, Scorpina saw this as her opportunity to open the time portal. A loud crackling and strong vacuum like winds caught Billy's attention.
"Guys we have a enormous complication materializing behind us." Billy said gaining Rocky, Zack, and Trini's attention.
"Guys!" the four said in unison sharply.
However it was to late the vortex sucked the team of super heroes in and spit them out in an unfamiliar place.
"Where are we?| Kimberly asked.
"That's a good question, why don't we take a look around see if we can figure out where we are?" Tommy suggested
As they start walking around as a group they find the park. Off in the distance they see four teenagers and a group of strange looking creatures. All of a sudden one of the teens moved at lightening speed and two of the creatures were on the ground.
"Should we assist them?" Jason asked.
"We still don't know where we are so we shouldn't draw any unwanted attention to ourselves." Tommy said
Just then a monster showed up accompanied by what could only be described as a cyborg. They quickly approached the other teens. "Hand over the gems or prepare to be destroyed." The cyborg said.
"Your not getting the gems." Said the one clad in red.
"You've chose your fate red ranger." The cyborg said turned to the monster, "Lets get them." he said. The other creatures including the monster and the cyborg charged the teens.
"Alright guys Ready?" red ranger asked.
"Ready" The others said in unison shifting into their morphing stance.
"Dino thunder power up! HA!" they all said in unison. Moments later the yellow, Blue, Red, and White rangers stood there. As the ten friends stood watching they didn't notice two figures materialize behind them.
"You know its not nice to spy on people." a familiar male voice said. Kimberly took this time to turn around and when she did she saw a very familiar face. Upon seeing the man she fainted. At the same time the other figure with the male fainted upon noticing who the group of people were. The others turn around, Tommy squatted down the same time as the older man, for the same reason.
"Who are yo..." Tommy said as he looked up at the other man.
"How did you get here?" the older man said.
"Tommy?" Billy asked
"Yeah Billy its me, Why don't you come with me we can talk back at the Dino lab." Sensei Oliver said.
"How?" Rocky asked. In answer to Rocky's question Sensei Oliver scooped up the female and the invisaportal opened.
"Right this way he said as he walked through.
The Dino lab ten minutes earlier.
"Who are those people?" a female redhead sitting in front of a computer said.
Sliding across the floor in their own chairs two other people looked at the screen. Noticing all ten faces.
"That's why the signal spiked up. Tommy you and Kimberly should go undetected and find out why they are here." A blonde male explained.
"Alright Billy can you call up an invisaportal?" Tommy asked
"Pulling one up now, just tap your gauntlet three times to return." William told his old friends.
After seeing the two arrive on the screens they watched as everything happened. When the dino black ranger explained they needed a more private place to explain everything he knew it was time to prepare the lab for their younger selves. When the portal opened the teens stepped through to find a man that looked a lot like an older version of their resident genius and a redhead they didn't recognize cleaning up. Stepping in and to the side giving Tommy and his older counterpart room to step inside and approach medical beds to set the figures in their arms down.
"Tommy?" William said.
"Yes" they both said in unison.
"How did you all get here?" William asked.
"Before you answer any questions why don't you all find a place to sit and I will monitor the two ladies on the medical beds. The redhead said.
"Thanks Haley." Sensei Oliver said.
"To answer your question, Scorpina had some kind of device and it opened a portal that pulled us in and dumped us out at the park where sensei Oliver found us." Billy explained.
"Talk about finding out what is in store for you in the future." Tommy thought
"Hey just so you know we can't send you back knowing any of this." William said answering Tommy's thoughts.
Stunned Tommy shrunk back to the medical bed were Kimberly was resting. Grabbing her hand trying to will her to wake up.
Just then the rangers walked in through the secret entrance.
"Woah, why are there more people our age here?" The guy in red asked not giving them a very close look.
His girlfriend on the other hand seen a very familiar face.
"Adam?" the female in yellow asked.
"Do I know you miss?" Adam asked shyly
"I should hope so I just babysat the twins for your last night."
"Kira that's not who you think it is, well it is but its not at the same time." William tried to explain.
"Wha...What is she talking about? I don't have kids. why are you here?" Adam stammered out quickly.
"Adan calm down." Tanya said as she grabbed his hand comforting him.
Returning to the group Sensei Oliver quieted everyone.
"Everyone sit down and relax. We are all in a stressful situation, we should try to work together, how about some introductions." Tommy suggested
Stepping up as the leader of his team "Hi I'm Conner Dumah, this is my girlfriend Kira Park." Conner said
Next the African American boy approached "Hello my name is Ethan Taylor" he said.
The last one to approach was a Hispanic youth "Hey I'm Trent Oliver" he said
"Well judging by your last names you know who we are?" Billy asked
"Uh Yeah we've been around you guys all our lives." Kira stated.
At this time Kim woke up. "What's going on?" she asked
"Beautiful we have some visitors from the past." Sensei Oliver said
"Oh you mean that wasn't a dream?" Kim asked
"No its really happening and we have to figure out how to get them back to their own time." Sensei Oliver informed her.
Tommy took this time to walk back over to check on Kimberly. "Hey Beautiful its time to wake up." Tommy said causing everyone except the dino thunder teens to remember the first time he said those words to her.
"What, happened." Kimberly said as she opened her eyes and seen Tommy looking back at her. "Oh, handsome it was so horrible you were old and...
"Hey I'm not that old." Sensei Oliver said from the other side of the lab.
"OK now that everybody is conscious we should plan their return and how to remove the memories of the future." William explained.
"I'll assist with the invention." Billy said.
"I'll give you a hand Ethan and Haley stated
"What are the rest of us suppose to do while your doing that?" Rocky asked as his stomach started to grumble
"Well I'm on my way to the café I'll see you guys after my shift." Trent said
"Did you say café?" Rocky asked
"Yeah hey Trent wait up why don't we show the others the café I'm sure Rocko needs some food." Conner said.
"I'm sure he's not the only one." Trent said.
"Hey I burn off what I eat fast because of my enhanced abelites." Conner shot back
"Are you sure we need to take the younger rangers out?" Kira asked
"Kira has a very good point." Haley agreed.
"Trent you go on to work, we will order pizza." Kim said
Just then the doorbell rang. Kim stood up and walked up the stairs headed for the main floor of the house. Walking over to the door she opened it to reveal their friends.
"Hey sis how are you doing today?" Adam asked as two small children ran up to hug her.
" Aunt Kim." they said
"Come on in guys, we are having a little bit of a crisis." Kim said
At the same time Tommy walked through the trap door. "What happened to you?" Jason asked.
"I got sent to the future"..
"Uncle Tommy" the twins said as they hugged his legs.
"Wha..." Tommy froze and Adam knew this wasn't the same man he talked to three days ago about a ranger reunion. He calmly bent down and grabbed his children.
"Tanya why don't you take them up to the play room and we will meet you down in the lab." Adam suggested.
"Alright I'll meet you down there in a few minutes honey." Tanya said.
"Tommy hello are you there!" Kim said waving her hand in front of the young mans face. Blinking Tommy came to and finally was able to stutter out "You ha ha have children?" was all he could say.
"Don't!" Kim said looking at Adam before he could say anything
"Why don't we get down to the lab, then we can discuss everything you and your team need to know." Jason said.
"That sounds like a good idea." Tommy agreed
Meanwhile back in 1994 at the command center
"Alpha we must find the rangers! Zordon said
"Aye yi yi yi yi I'm trying but nothing seems to be working.
"Let me see if I can assist Alpha." Zondar offered.
The two of them stood in front of the consoles scanning anywhere and everywhere they were still coming up empty handed.
"Alpha try scanning back in time like we did when the wizard of deception attacked." Zordon said.
"Yes Zordon but maybe we should check in both directions." Zondar suggested
"That is a great idea Zondar." Zordon exclaimed.
The two got to work searching for their friends. They were searching sending out signals to find the morphin grid power of the rangers.
On the moon
"You did well Goldar and Scorpina." Zandra complemented
"Where did you send them?" Zordetta asked.
"Ten years into the future into the future according to the setting on the device." Scorpina informed
"You sent them where?" Zordetta snapped.
The henchmen cowered in fear. Pacing back and forth Zordetta snarled showing her anger toward the failure of Henchmen she has.
"You two have in idea what you've done do you?" Zordetta snapped at the henchmen she took over control of.
"We got rid of the power rangers what's the problem we can now destroy the planet." Goldar informed.
"Go take putties, skullbots and destroy the planet." Zordetta said.
As the henchmen leave Zordetta makes her way to the dungeon. "Amelia my dear have you thought about how your mistake almost cost us our victory."
"Yes auntie I'm sorry it won't happen again." Amelia said.
"Don't trust her young one." stranger from the cell said.
"Shut up you old fool." Zordetta said as she kicked the bars to the cell. Reaching into her pocket and pulled out the cell keys, unlocking Amelia's cell. "See that you don't fail me again or I'll destroy you myself." Zordetta threatened.
