Chapter 3.5:

Darth Vader had returned to his castle on Mustafar, his suit was being repaired and he was healing from the extensive hours of clinging on to life. He was in the bacta tank, meditating on recent events. How could he of allowed the weakling Skywalker to get the upper hand. Why didn't he just kill him when he had the chance? Vader could sense Anakin's presence through the force, he was healing also. Something was not right within the force. Anakin didn't feel like the Anakin Vader previously was. Was Skywalker the old version of Anakin? Of Vader himself?

As Vader was contemplating, a medical droid's voice echoed throughout the chambers.

"My lord, your suit has been repaired. The Emperor demands you make contact with him. Do you wish to proceed?"

"Proceed..." Vader said as he was lifted out of the bacta tank. Vaders limbs were now reconnected, his new respirator dug into his skin, whenever Vader exited the bacta tank it was always beyond excruciating.

After his suit of armour was reconnected to him, Vader made his way to his throne room, he sat down on his jet black throne, the orange and red accents complemented the fires on Mustafar.

Then, a hologram appeared in front of Vader's eyes. The Emperor stood before him, looking rather displeased.

"Lord Vader, I demand to know your reasoning for losing project star dust. Grand Moff Tarkin is dead, like you should be along with him." The Emperor coldly said.

"Forgive me, my Master. A recent occurrence has effected my performance."

"And what might that be, my friend."

"I have found, fought and almost been killed by none other than Anakin Skywalker"

The words that echoed from Vader's mechanical voice surprised the Emperor.

"Are you sure my apprentice, I wonder if your feelings on this matter are clear Lord Vader?"

"They are clear my Master, how is it possible?"

"I am unsure Lord Vader, perhaps he isn't Anakin Skywalker, but rather your son..." The Emperor muttered, revealing that Padme wasn't killed by Vader would either set him off or confuse him.

"WHAT! You told me I killed Padme, how was she able to give birth?!" Vader was infuriated with the Emperor.

"Your anger is what killed her Lord Vader, her seeing you stand up against the corruption of the Jedi and senate broke her ideals, she lost the will to live"

Vaders anger only grew, he had only joined the dark side to save her, and yet that is what caused her death.

"Do not go against me Vader, know your place. The offspring of Anakin Skywalker has no relation to you, do I make myself clear?" The Emperor bellowed.

"Yes-...My master" Vader said, this was the first time since Mustafar that Vader had considered betraying Sidious

"It is likely the son of Skywalker was named after the Hero with no fear, I have also sensed another son of Skywalker, the young rebel that blew up the Death Star. Whilst the Anakin you speak of his already a Jedi, the other boy must not follow in his brother's footsteps." The Emperor stated.

"If they could be turned, they could become most powerful allies."

"Yes...Good, Lord Vader in order to effectively hunt them, you must reinstate the Inquisitorious, the Grand Inquisitor, due to my help survived Tarkin's Star destroyer. He will remain Grand Inquisitor and as punishment for your failure, you are both equals for the time being."

"As you wish my Master" Vader said before ending the communication. He now had two sons, and the Grand inquisitor apparently survived. If Vader had known he had survived he would have killed him himself.

Vader wondered how the Grand Inquisitor had survived the Jedi breakout over orbit of Mustafar. It was a strange occurrence. And why had Palpatine only told him now? Vader was growing further away from Palpatine by the day.

Vader for the time being, would wait for leads on the Skywalker children, he knew that if he tried to get to Yavin, they would have already evacuated by the time he had gotten there. Vader now had to play the waiting game.

The Emperor was shocked at the recent revelations, the Death Star had been destroyed, Lord Vader almost killed by his supposed old self and the Grand Inquisitor's recent resurgence. Palpatine thought this was strange, especially since the failed ritual. Palpatine and Vader tried to gain the gift of immortality, instead the force must have rebelled against their might. The Grand Inquisitor was revived by the force, but why? The sons of Skywalker have made a sudden appearance and now the death of Grand Moff Tarkin and the destruction of the Death Star. Palpatine would have to hide his time to see the extent of the repercussions of trying to cheat death.

Palpatine pressed a red button on his throne, in doing so a hologram appeared in front of him. It was the Grand Inquisitor.

"Grand Inquisitor, I know you must find this revelation of your existence to be strange, but I assure you my resolve has never been stronger. You will work closely with Lord Vader to rebuild the Inquisitorious"

"Yes, My Emperor" The cold voice of the Inquisitor replied. He was by far the best Inquisitor by miles. Best duellist and best with his ability within the force.

"My friend, a recent revelation has occurred. It appears Anakin Skywalker had offspring and they intend on becoming Jedi. One is already a Jedi, he must be turned by all costs. The other blew up the Death Star, he must not be allowed to become a Jedi, either he be turned or destroyed." The Emperor cackled.

"Yes, your faith will be rewarded my Emperor." The Grand Inquisitor said before the communication ended. He knew if Anakin Skywalker before the Empire, he knew that his children would be powerful, yet powerful assets.

Vader was still confused about Anakin Skywalker being his son, during the attack run on the Death Star, Vader mentioned Shmi and it set Anakin off. It seemed to be Anakin Skywalker but the Emperor said otherwise. Either Anakin was the Hero with no Fear from another time, or the son of Skywalker like the Emperor suspects. Either way, Vader had to try and turn him to the dark side, whether he join it willingly or not.
