Hayate (because the sand was too busy trying to get Gaara for the scenario that killed him to happen) called for everyone but Neji and Naruto to leave the arena.

Naruto was all smiles as he stared down Neji. "Even though Hinata-chan was healed, I still plan on knocking some sense into you."

Neji scoffed. "You are fated to lose here today, no wardrobe change or any length of time you spend training will change that."

Naruto's smile turned into a smirk. "You better hope your not bluffing, cause after the training I went through. Snow has better chances surviving in hell."

Hayate swung his arm down as he shouted for them to begin.

Naruto started things off, running forward as he performed the shadow clone technique. Neji merely scoffed as he danced through the crowd, not even using his byakugan to strike them down.

Naruto stood slightly back, hiding within the crowd of clones. Not close enough to be struck, but not so far as to be left out of the action.

Neji was eventually forced to activate his bloodline when he noticed the clones starting to get unpredictable with their attacks. He started out being easily predictable, then he slowly began to show a style, one that he didn't recognize. Several veterans in the crowd however, recognize it as the style used by the hot-blooded habanero.

The only thing missing was the chakra chains and the sword.

Neji suddenly jumped upwards, as several golden chains burst from the ground. Naruto followed soon after, showing the use of the headhunter technique, and swinging a katana.

The blade itself was nearly four feet long, gold in color with a black line running along its length with one going horizontal every four inches or so.

Neji glared as he landed. The clone army began to disappear as he looked around at them raising suspicions.

Naruto smirked. "If all you got is poking me with your fingers, my blade will be all I need. I won't even need to reveal my ultimate technique."

Neji glared as Naruto stood with confidence he shouldn't have. Neji took a deep breath to calm himself as Naruto shifted his footing as several chains to burst from the ground around him.

Neji performed a spin, creating a barrier around himself of chakra that knocked the chains away, while also disrupting their form. Neji spun slightly longer when he noticed Naruto dropping down at him.

Naruto collided with the barrier as he was launched backwards. The clone that created the chains poofing away with the chains.

Naruto had learned his mother's chain technique and learned his clones could use them easier. However, they also acted like extensions of themselves, destroy the chains, destroy the clone.

Naruto caught himself as he fell, ignoring the crowd of people cheering louder when he was hurt, not many were putting their vote in him.

He did hear his classmates, and even Sakura cheering him on as he was winning. He swore he heard Hinata when he was stopped by that spinning technique.

Neji glared. "You are within my divination."

Naruto looked confused as Neji rushed him when he landed. But before he could bring his sword up for a defense or offense, Neji had struck him. His arm was the first to go numb, followed by the rest.

Naruto was left listening to Neji count off his strikes, feeling each one.

He wanted to mock the boy for it, but it honestly kind of hurt.

He could handle the pain; he had learned throughout his training how to handle pain. But listening to many in the audience, speaking loudly about how he deserved to lose, and how happy they were as he was pelted by the technique.

Naruto slid backwards, defying logic by continuing to stand when Neji shoved him back. Neji stared at the sword that Naruto dropped. Before the boy could even reach the blade, it went up in a puff of smoke.

Neji turned to look at Naruto. "That blade was not a clone, so you learned to use seals and a weak sword style over the month. You wasted your time; you were fated to lose the moment I was declared your opponent."

Naruto scoffed this time. "Fate can kiss my ass. I will stand against everything that says I can't do something." Here Naruto smirked. "My flames of youth burn too brightly to be extinguished by your cool hip attitude. I shall prove that, and if I can't, I shall run across each training field on my hands one hundred times."

Neji glared at the boy. Both could hear Guy and Lee shouting about joining him and adding on a 'punishment' if they failed to do so.

"You think you can defy fate?" Neji proceeded to explain the whole situation, and his beef with the main branch of his clan. The author however is gonna skip it because he is too lazy to look up to remember it all correctly. You all heard it enough times anyways.

Naruto had a hard time taking the boy seriously after he pulled his headband off. The moment Naruto saw the caged bird seal, he had to bite the inside of his cheek in order to prevent himself from laughing at it.

"I will give you a B- for your tragic backstory, but that seal is so useless, negative F-."

Neji glared as his eye started to twitch. "What?"

Naruto rolled his eyes. "To begin with, the seal is focused on only the brain. From what I can see, it will kill the vision center of your brain, the pain comes from the fact that your alive. When you die it automatically activates, the dead can't really feel the pain. However, the downfall is it only effects the brain. What is stopping your DNA that carries the genes for the bloodline?"

Neji looked baffled here. "What do you mean?"

Naruto sighed. "You all do realize that decay doesn't happen instantly. When they kill you, while short, there is still time to extract your DNA, or semen, in order to claim your bloodline. They just got to find a girl willing to have a kid implanted in them."

Neji blinked as he heard this. "So, what your saying is that this seal isn't fully helping? That we are branded with it for almost no reason?"

Naruto frowned at this. "I would actually place the seal at the base of the spine, like a tramp stamp. That way, when the brain shuts down, it will activate and fry your reproductive capabilities, while launching a jolt up your spine. This of course will actually turn your corpse into a bomb. But if your dead anyway."

Neji sweated slightly at the boy's description, before noticing something. "How are you no longer showing any detriment from my earlier attack?"

Naruto smirked here. "Uzumaki have a regenerative bloodline. All I needed was to let you have your story time, and I was able to heal up good as new."

Neji glared at that. "So, you took advantage of me departing wisdom to you, teaching you how you cannot defy fate. Just to catch your breath? It will change nothing."

Naruto continued to smirk. "Actually, not just that. While you were talking, I started up my own trump card. You have your fancy dancing skills. I have the ultimate seal."

Suddenly, from twelve points around the edges of the arena, there were swirls of scrolls. Twelve little twisters made from scrolls, and as the ends made contact with the walls, they began to stick to it.

The scrolls rolled out along the walls, until they connected with the end of the next. From the ring of sealing scrolls, more seals spread downward. Seals with such complexity, the caged bird seal looked like a child's doodle.

As the seals reach the ground, the suddenly released a golden glow. Naruto stood there smiling.

"Now, since you were kind enough to reveal your own dark past, I guess it's my turn."

Neji glared as Naruto smacked his own chest, causing his shirt to go up in a puff of smoke.

As the smoke cleared, Neji was greeted with the site of a complex seal upon the boy's stomach. Neji would be willing to admit his own short comings with seals, he was no expert. But the seal on Naruto's stomach, while not as complex as the one now along the wall, was still something that anyone would be impressed by.

There were several in the audience that gasped upon realizing what Naruto was doing. Hayate himself, who was not that far away, who realized where the boy was going with this, was also shocked.

"Upon my birth, my father sealed away the strongest of the biju within me."

That was not what anyone thought he would say. Neji took a second to look over Naruto once again and couldn't deny the similarities between the boy and the fourth.

Naruto chuckled. "Upon my birth, the previous jinchuriki, Kushina Uzumaki, the wife of the fourth hokage, was attacked. After rescuing me from being stabbed, and throwing aside the blanket covered in paper bombs, Minato Namikaze took me away. Leaving my mother at the mercy of the Uchiha that attacked us, who proceeded to release the kyubi upon Konoha. My parents did their best to handle the situation, Minato fought the masked Uchiha, who claimed to be Madara."

There were denials from many of those in the crowd. All of them calling for the boy's head, claiming he was slandering the Uchiha clan.

There were large groups of people that were left confused, but they were outsiders for the most part. The citizens of Konoha were all in an uproar over the story.

Naruto just continued.

"Upon breaking the connection that the Uchiha had over the kyubi, he ran away, and the fourth sealed the biju away in me. And ever since, the village of Konoha has blamed me for every single death that night. I have been denied entry into stores, denied the chance to spend time with others my age. All because someone just had to spill the beans on what I contained. I have been alone my entire life."

As Naruto was explaining things, the ground around them began to change. As the seals glow brightened, the ground began to disappear, to become what appeared to be water.

"I can count the number of people who cared on a single hand, and anyone that would count as family abandoned me to my darkness. To live my life without anyone there."

Several people in the crowd that knew the truth, and were friends with Minato and Kushina, felt their guilt weigh them down.

Neji took another deep breath as he listened to the boy's story. Thinking back to what family he had left, his mother, and even several other branch family members that supported him. Even his team that showed him support and kindness, while he only mocked them.

Neji found himself shedding a single tear.

Suddenly, right in front of Neji, the snout of a beast rose from the water and snapped shut. And Neji was face to eye, with the nine-tailed fox. The large red eye reflecting his entire image.

As the head of the great beast sunk below the surface of the water, there was complete silence from everyone. Neji stared in shock and fear.

"No need to fear, I won't interrupt your squabble. It is not something that requires my aid."

Neji looked down, into the water, as everyone else did. And there it was. The strongest of the biju, reflected within, as if the water was a gateway to another realm.

The kyubi looked to be sitting on an island, its upper torso out over the water. As if instead of there being a bottom, it led to the other side of the world.

Naruto spoke up. "My ultimate technique. The scrolls that hold the seal created a barrier that trapped us within. While we are within the barrier, it acts like a portal into the seal holding the kyubi. This 'water' is all the unshed tears throughout my life. Before my future self died, he created a barrier that slowed the flow of time. My teachers and myself managed to learn a bit from it. But that extended the time I could train, from one month to twelve."

As everyone was staring in shock over seeing the beast once again after almost 13 years, learning how Naruto was able to extend his training time, didn't really calm them down.

The fact the beast spoke also shocked them.

"My teachers also showed me the secret to the shadow clone technique. Each clone passes it's knowledge back to me when it dispels. So if I have ten clones train for five hours, I will have trained for a little over two days within that time. Now imagine if I had hundreds, or thousands of clones studying seals, all under masters of the art. I trained for more than a single month Neji.

My clones allowed me to study seals, learn the katas to a sword style my teacher knows, as well as train with my elemental affinity. I didn't train for a month to beat you. I trained for years."

Neji was nearly hyperventilating. Hayate(Yes I remember him) was trying to think of what he should do. He was not prepared to deal with the full power of the nine-tails. He wasn't even considered cannon fodder before the beast; his sword style was not meant for this.

Naruto continued to explain. "While we reside within this barrier, I can get aid from the kyubi, but since this is basically a portal into my own chakra system, I can pretty much spam all sorts of techniques from in here."

Naruto was suddenly surrounded by a golden flame as he began to float. "So, who should surrender to fate now, Neji?"

Neji stared emotionlessly at Naruto, as his legs began to quake. "So, you created a seal that traps us, basically in your head, where you can simply god mode everything, and have a giant pet biju eat whoever pisses you off. And you are just power flexing to scare me into throwing in the towel?"

Naruto looked sheepish as he scratched the back of his head. "When you put it that way, I sound kinda like an ass."

Neji had a twitch in his eye, his breathing begins to grow heavy. "Kinda doesn't begin to cover the level of bullshit I am seeing."

Hayate took notice of the shinobi that were trying to attack the barrier. The seals being on the wall however, and those walls being reinforced against both chakra and physical attacks, he had little hope.

Hayate just prayed that Naruto would leave this as a power flex instead of an attack. Hayate did take note that the tears reacted to himself and Neji. "Hey, Naruto. What is really happening with this water here?"

Neji finally took note. The tears as Naruto called them, while swirling around them, also appeared to swirl into them. Hayate took notice of his lack of coughing, as Naruto explained.

"The tears are just basically water that is saturated with my chakra, basically it's the closest we are gonna get to messing with pure undiluted chakra. And as I said earlier, my chakra has healing properties due to my Uzumaki blood. It is healing you."

Hayate would admit, he has never felt better ever since his incident. Neji was the one to inquire.

"So, this is mainly good for healing?"

Naruto just shrugged. "While I have the barrier up, I have full access to my full potential. And literally have infinite chakra due to none of it actually leaving my body upon use."

Neji wobbled slightly as he fell to a knee coughing. His eyes beginning to bleed.

Naruto actually looked concerned over this. Neji stood back up as he yelled in pain, holding his eyes.

Kurama chuckled from beneath them. "Well, well, well. I guess things are going to get interesting now."

Naruto stared down at his fuzzy friend. "What you mean big guy?"

Naruto was just answered with a point. As Naruto looked to Neji, where Kurama pointed to, He noticed the green chakra that was starting to flow from the boy.

"We are within your mindscape, the gateway to my prison. The barrier you created basically puts you in a bubble, and the moment you release it, everything returns to normal. While it is active, you can draw upon one hundred percent of your power, constantly. But with your power being the way it is, anyone can draw in.

The Hyuga clan are direct descendants of Hagoromo's brother, Hamura. Similar to the Senju and Uchiha being Hagaromo's. The chakra within you is the same chakra of the Otsutsuki clan. Especially after you elder form awakened the power within you to cultivate. I have done the best I can to insure it thrives. And when you need it, you will be able to stand toe to toe with the very gods you worship.

This same power that you have within you, is healing and empowering the young Hyuga before you. I had no idea this would happen."

As Kurama finished speaking, Neji looked up. His eyes having a completely different look to them. As Neji stood up once more, he began to glow in a similar matter to Naruto. As both boys stood against each other, Naruto chuckled. "So, you know what is happening then fox?"

Kurama sighed. "Allow me to dumb it down for you. Because you are the reincarnation of Asura and possess his Otsutsuki chakra, the very same chakra that you decided to call upon while he was within your seal, that chakra is interacting with everyone there. People like that sickly fellow would be one thing. It would flow harmlessly through them. A Hyuga with the blood of the main family however. This one may not be a main family member, but he is only in the branch family through technicality. He still possesses pure enough blood. A little bit of six paths chakra awakened the hidden power of his eyes. The Tenseigan,"

Naruto just groaned. "So, it's the same deal with that Mangekyo shit you mentioned?"

Kurama simply nodded. "Same principle."

Naruto groaned. "Anything else you want to warn me about?"

Kurama shrugged. "I am dealing with this as we go, that is just my theory on what happened to the brat. I never expected this to happen because your future self never encountered it. There was Toneri, but that psycho kidnapped and stole the eyes of the younger Hyuga heiress."

Up in the stands, Hiashi subconsciously grabbed Hanabi's wrist.

Neji got his breathing under control as his glow gained a green tint. The next thing everyone noticed, Neji began to float upward. "So, this was all an accident?"

Naruto chuckled. "If anything, you gaining those eyes is like looking fate in her own and flipping her the bird."

Neji stared down at the water for several seconds, floating upwards to match the height Naruto floated at. Naruto shouted. "Well, our fight isn't gonna continue itself you know? Show me what you can do after breaking the chains of fate that bound you."

Neji actually smiled upon hearing those words. "You say that as if the main branch would just accept this."

Naruto just scoffed. "You speak as if they could do anything, the moment you were within this barrier, my chakra was flowing through you. As I said before, that seal on your head is pathetic."

Neji pulled his headband from his head once more, to view his forehead within the water. Only to see a distinct lack of a seal. Naruto continued to float across from him. "That thing was something attacking your body, which means that my chakra drained it."

Neji let loose a couple tears. "Fine, then allow me to experience what having this power is like, before I lose it."

Naruto suddenly vanished as he rushed forward. Neji was surprised when his vision was able to keep up with his opponent's movements. Raising his right hand to brush the straight jab aside, he was caught off guard when two other arms flowed from Naruto's shoulder and proceeded to slug him in his jaw and ribs.

Neji was paying closer attention than before now, as he also noticed that Naruto was actually breaking a sweat. Keeping the seal going for this long was not agreeing with the boy.

Neji also felt the effects of awakening a new set of eyes was having on him. He did not know if he would keep these new eyes or be driven blind when Naruto released them from this trap.

But he was enjoying having the power to bend fate to his whim for once.

Naruto dropped backwards when he noticed the Neji going for a kick. Naruto spread his arms out, conjuring several limbs, all holding the infamous rasengan. As Neji was now facing a wall of the technique heading right for him.

Neji allowed instinct to move him forward as he raised his hand and somehow generated a barrier, forged of a material void of light.

As Neji blocked the attack, there was a great deal of smoke and the sound of breaking glass as both boys fell to the ground.

Naruto was the first to stand. "Damnit, I dawdled too long."

Neji watched as the glow around him melted beneath his skin. And his sight diminished from what he learned was the tenseigan. Negi looked over at Naruto, who also lost his glow.

Noticing the look, Naruto rolled his eyes. "What? Did you think that was a be all end all seal. It was only gonna last for how long the seal was charged for. That's just one of the weaknesses. It's meant as a quick burst of power for myself and my team to fully restore our power and fight at full strength again. I mostly just wanted to use it so I can experience what using all my strength from the future would be like. Never expected you would be able to channel my chakra however."

Negi tried to stand, before releasing a groan when he collapsed. "What is wrong with me?"

Naruto rolled his eyes. "You just experienced the full might of your potential. Unlike me, who has had experience with jumping to that level and losing it, you just hit the equivalent of a sugar rush crash. Your tenseigan was the sugar rush, this is you crashing."

Negi just groaned. "So, I was given a taste of true power, only to lose it in the end."

As several shinobi dropped down to surround them, obviously being cautious after what they just experienced. Naruto laughed. "You haven't lost the tenseigan for good. Just let your body mature, and one of these days, you will be able to draw on the power again. My chakra network was the one that got the workout there. If it wasn't for you being so compatible with those eyes of yours, I would have been able to smack you around. I guess I did somewhat fall into the same trap you did with the monologuing."

Neji chuckled as he felt himself be picked up to be taken to the infirmary.

Hiruzen sat in shock as he ordered his anbu to go call off the ones trying to arrest Naruto. While the fourth kazekage, sat within his seat, nearly drooling over the thought of such power. Obviously plotting on how to obtain it. Though everyone reading knows it's Orochimaru.

Don't tell Hiruzen, it's a surprise for him.

With Naruto nearly getting arrested, only for Jiraiya, the great toad sage himself to step in, along with the anbu Hiruzen sent.

Naruto gave the toad sage the cold shoulder when the man tried to ask about the seal Naruto had just used. Which upon inspection, everyone noticed how the scrolls were burnt to a crisp, and the sealing marks being mere puddles along the wall.

Hiruzen got fed up with everyone taking so long in the arena, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

"Everyone that is not a contestant, will leave the arena. The sealing techniques used by the Uzumaki clan, falls under the clan protection laws. If Naruto does not wish to reveal them, he has no obligation to. The laws around his status as a jinchuriki allows for himself to tell others of his status without repercussion. These exams are still underway, so you children that are throwing tantrums will cease this foolishness immediately."

Hiruzen glared at each of the shinobi that were down there pestering the boy. Even Jiraiya and the several members he knew were actually undercover root agents. Their goal being to get anything from Naruto for Danzo.

"If Naruto wishes to share these secrets, it will be his choice, and you can speak with him about it when these matches are over."

Naruto walked away from the people there, waving as he entered the walkway to the spectator window, where he was greeted by Gaara, who was actually standing with Shino. Both having quiet conversations.

Shino greeted the blond with a friendly nod. "That was over the top excessive."

Naruto's smile was all teeth. "What did you expect? I was the opening act. I still have plenty of showstoppers to reveal throughout this tourney. So you better bring you're a-game bro."

Shino's collar was covering his mouth, but you could feel the smile the boy had. "So, honorable son of the fourth, I look forward to our match."

Naruto laughed at that, Shikamaru stepping over to call the boy troublesome, and give his congratulations on his victory.

Temari and Kankuro were both not too far away as they were trying to pull Gaara away to talk with him.

Dosu was just off at the end, sweating slightly as he glared at the rest of them. He had tried to hunt down Gaara during the month break but was forced to give up with his plans when the village was put on high alert to find both him, and the blond brat.

Up in the stands, there were still some of the members that were in denial of Naruto's claims of his parentage. Hiruzen not addressing it made it complicated. Was he just ignoring it, or was he passively confirming it by not denying it?

Either way, Hiruzen would have to address the situation later.

As everyone was watching the show Naruto put on, there were three standing upon the roof above the Kage box.

One was bouncing in excitement, trying to keep it all in as she silently celebrated her son's victory, you could feel the proud smile the male of their group had, as the third merely giggled over what she felt from her two companions.

Hayate, feeling a distinct lack of illness, for the first time in a while, shouted with with a smile as he called down Gaara and Sasuke.

The first one arrived upon a throne of sand, sitting in it as if he was waiting for his subjects to arrive, with a bored look.

Which didn't happen. And as Gaara returned to the contestant's box, he pouted at his wasted entrance, which he couldn't reuse because that would be redundant.

Naruto was sitting next to him as he rubbed his back to comfort him.

And so, it was down to Shino and Kankuro. Which Kankuro forfeited due to not wishing to reveal his hand before the invasion he believed was going to happen. Which left Shikamaru and Dosu.

Shikamaru just groaned over how troublesome things were going to be.

Dosu glared hard at the boy as they reached the center of the arena. Looking about, Shikamaru just sighed over how bad this match up was.

Dosu raised his melody arm as he flicked it. Only for nothing to happen.

Shikamaru groaned. "The moment you were selected for my opponent, I put in some work to get some earplugs, they are made to protect myself from sound-based techniques. Of course, they were originally made to combat sound-based genjutsu and train yourself to battle with a hearing handicap. But they work for this."

Dosu went to jump backwards, only to find himself unable to move. Shikamaru forced Dosu to look down at his shadow as he explained.

"You should really keep from throwing all your eggs into one basket. You were so confident you could finish me off with just one trick. Like you did to my best friend."

Shikamaru glared rather harshly here. "So I learned a very special trick just for you. 'Nightmare Realm'"

Dosu was forced to stand there as the shadows began to engulf him. Dosu was left in pitch blackness, beginning to wonder if this was all the Nara had.

When Dosu just looked forward into the darkness, it gazed back. Dosu was caught off guard when he started to see and feel all kinds of monsters, each taking a bite or clawing at him.

Dosu felt as each claw stabbed into him, as each set of jaws bit him.

Dosu screamed.

As the shadows released the boy, he collapsed to the ground, a shivering mess covered in stab wounds. The medics retrieved the boy as Shikamaru waited for his next opponent.

Temari had to think over what she had just seen. On one hand, it freaked her out to watch the usually lazy guy do something like that.

On the other, she found it hot.

Temari sat upon her fan as she glided to the arena, before Hayate could call her.

Shikamaru sighed as he faced his next opponent. "I wish I could go back to lazing about, watching the clouds. Girls are just so troublesome."

Temari glared at the boy. Shikamaru just groaned. "Your glare is as frightening as my mother's, what is so wrong with enjoying relaxing out in a field and cloud watching?"

Temari examined the boy's posture. And took note that he was honestly just not wanting to fight, the last one was against the guy that caused stomach issues to his best friend.

If it had been her baby brother hurt, she would have done worse to the ass.

Temari smirked as she had a brilliant idea. "Hey, I have an idea. Maybe if you can beat me, I will join you. You can even rest your head upon my lap."

Shikamaru actually thought about the offer. And smiled as he started his planning.

Alright, this is the end here.

I am very iffy through most of the Naruto Neji battle. I would really love your feedback on it.

I had imagined the battle differently when I started this fic, but after going through it and looking into things, I thought of how much Naruto would learn from his parents, and I landed on a fully new seal they all made together as his 'opening act'.

I hope I did good. If it is indeed bad, I am willing to re-write this chapter. I kinda wanted to give Neji something, because he ain't a bad guy. And he easily becomes a better person.

He tried to kill fav gal, but he isn't bad guy.
