Judy POV
It's been awhile hopefully it doesn't always take too long. Takes place on the same day that Katheryn told the news.
Oh my gosh, I can't believe that I will become a police officer. At first, it was difficult but after finding the drive my dream will come true. It was hard work at first but I didn't give up. At first, I was bottom and at risk of being kicked out of the academy. After finding my drive I rose to the top of class valedictorian. That was the first for me and it felt great. I always did well in school but others did better. In testings, I was up there but not the highest. Sharla one of my good friends was up there too. SI he's happy being an astronomer teacher. Teaching the next young minds about the universe. I have a beautiful passion for it and hope to show my passion to make the world a better place.
"Soon you will graduate becoming police officers to protect civilians. I have taught you and I hope you put what you learned into good use. Good cops are honored in my book of cops and dirty cops will be forgotten. You cadets have been good and I got to have the most interesting cadet in years. Now take this time to ready yourself for a dangerous career and know Zootopia before you're called on duty. Take time to get things in order." Major Friedkin said
I know I'm the interesting cadet and Major Friedkin smiles at me Our graduation will happen in a few days I feel excited like I'm going to burst. The same feeling I felt as a kit during Christmas. No, it's more than that my dream is coming true. What I'm feeling is one of the best feelings that I have felt. My parents and some of my siblings will come to my graduation. Then see me off to Zootopia I don't want to work in Bunnyburrow. I do love my home but that isn't what I imagine when I became a cop. Too boring and I do want action. Those there are wonderful police officers back home. Officer Francis Grayfur a gray wolf police chief is fantastic. Has been in the force since he was twenty-one and now he's sixty-four. He has a lovely family and his son Spencer Grayfur became a police officer like him. He's a great police officer like his father become him. Someday can be a police chief like his father. I don't know if I will ever be a police chief I think I would make a great police chief. For now, I'll focus on being a cop. I want to prove that I can be a great cop.
"Tonight I get to spend some time with Demetrius and Ceres," I say
Today I'm going to explore Zootopia more so I know the city I will protect. It will be better if I know my way around Zootopia. I don't want to get lost when chasing down a criminal. That would be bad and I don't want innocent mammals getting hurt. Also, I'm excited to see more of Zootopia it's a beautiful city. Where predators and prey get along working together to make the city work. I'm also looking forward to hanging out with Demetrius and Ceres they're plentiful hares. I have gotten to know them well during my time at the academy. It feels like I have known them forever. I have met other family members who live in Bunnyburrow. Weirdly, we never meet growing up. It was like we kept missing each other when they visited. They'll pick me up early evening and head to their home in Meadowland. One of the twelve districts in Zootopia and it reminds me of home.
"Alright let's do Thundratown, Rainforest, and Marshlands," I say
I have been looking at three districts during the days that I visit. Found that was a good way to visit. Focusing and writing things down for my siblings who want to know about Zootopia. My memory is good and I won't be lost when on duty. What I eat depends on where I end up during lunch hour. Going to a different business and I saved money for this. Knowing that I would need money to live in Zootopia. I earned money working at different jobs and got a lot of money from Chief Grayfur.
I have been working hard to add more money to my bank account so that when I'm a cop I can live in the city without worrying about money. Won't earn a lot being a police officer but I'm not doing it for the money. I'm going to make the world a better place and protect fellow mammals. That has been my dream since I was a little kit. Someday it will come true I just got to work hard at it. I have worked different jobs to be around certain mammals to help me in the long run. So working in retail and the food business has helped me out. I don't have the best patience I get annoyed if things take too long. I always tap my foot in annoyance and have to work on that.
My job currently is as a waitress at a popular restaurant. Loved by those who live here and visitors. The food is good here and the owner is a nice deer. An older gentlemammal who's loved by the community. I do think that he's a great mammal too and he's a great boss. We have a nice pay and get tips if the customer wants to. I do get tips from family friends and bucks who think I'm cute. I have little time to date but do go on dates for the sake of sanity and to keep my parents quiet. Nothing too serious I want to focus on becoming a career. Also, most dump me because they think I'm crazy and want a simple doe whose family-oriented and has the average rabbit career. I'm not bothered by that I'll find the perfect buck for me. Currently waiting for the current orders that the family I'm waiting for. They're a small family that's visiting and they think I'm a good waitress. So that can work for me.
"Orders ready Judy."
"Got it, Joe."
Joe a gazelle is one of the cooks and he's a great one. He places the orders on the counter and I place them on my tray. Today hasn't been a rush but fair business I'm not running to different tables. I don't mind a rush because I like challenging myself. I'm good at being a waiter and writing down all orders. That's the right way to go. I head over to their table and give them what they order.
"Need anything?" I ask
"Refill on drinks."
"Coming right up."
I say taking their empty glasses easier clean up afterward. I head over to where dirty dishes are put away. The dishwasher is Bella and she's a red wolf. She looks like a red fox sometimes it takes me by surprise. At least I know she can be trusted. I place the glass cups with others. There are a lot of dirty dishes. I take four new cups and fill them with the soda they wanted and ice. Heading over back to them.
I got a tip of five bucks not bad every dollar counts. Right now I'm on a break since others already have their waiters and waitresses. Taking a sip of cherry cola and I enjoy soda. Don't have a favorite for I enjoy them all. We all get a discount on a meal of our choice. I like to have vegetable casserole. Not as good as my mother's but still good. Rabbits and hares aren't all about carrots. I do like them but they can get tiring. I already had my meal of choice earlier in my shift. It was a good meal. As I sit another family comes in a larger one and a family of foxes. I take a sip wondering how they could afford to eat out. I hope that I don't serve them. It's a pain to keep a watchful eye on some folks. Diner and dash are what folks like them are capable of. How could folks steal from a good gentlemammal?
"Oh, it's Dylan that will be their waiter good," I say
I count my blessings that I don't have to deal with that family and Dylan is better suited for the job. They're in the back away from others and would have a hard time escaping. The door opens again and I see that Chief Grayfur has entered. He comes here a lot and is popular. Looks like my break is over and I don't mind that. Getting up and head over to him.
"I will take you to your table Chief Grayfur," I say
"Thank you, Ms. Hopps," Francis said
I take Chief Grayfur to a single table where he can view the fox family. I give him a menu even when he knows the meal by heart and he orders the same thing. Still, we do love being a waiter for him. He's a good gentlemammal and always tips well.
"What would you like to drink?"
"I would like the wild berry tea," Francis said
"Coming right up sir," I say
After I get him his drink he would be ready to order. He's that quick and also Chief Grayfur is a busy gentlemammal. So I head to get his drink. It won't take long to get his drink. As I walk over to get his drink I look at the fox family they're still waiting for their food. Seeing each got soda that must be all that they drink. They'll have to wait and I get his drink. We do have different teas or water for those who don't drink soda. Chief Grayfur has never been a soda drinker and sticks to good old tea. I also love tea and my favorite tea is herbal. He does enjoy my family's blueberry both a regular and special drink. I fill up his drink and head back to him. I paw out his drink and he takes a sip.
"Are you ready to order Chief Grayfur?" I ask
"I would like the bug bacon mac and cheese with a side of fries," Francis said
"I got it si….oh I'm sorry for the loss Francis," I say
"Thank you, Ms. Hopps," Francis said
Chief Grayfur always orders that on a tough day or when there's a loss. I see a deep sadness in his eyes an act of violence and I'll see it on the news. Bunnyburrow is a safe town a farming community where violent crimes are uncommon. One of the safest towns you can live and grow up in. I sure do love growing up Bunnyburrow. His order is easy to remember so I head over to the kitchen.
"One bug bacon mac and cheese with a side of fries," I say
Joe gets what happened. I see sadness in his eyes. We all are going to feel like that once we discover what happened on the news. I feel sad right now and I don't know what happened. Even with his decades of being a police officer, bad calls get to him. A call like that I haven't thought of much for who wants to think of negativity like that. Not everyone can be saved and I may take a life. A police officer knows that and I do accept it. Joe gets to cooking and the other cooks are busy. So I have to wait. Looking back at Chief Grayfur and I sigh. Now I think about my first bad call and what it will be like. I can be emotional hopefully I can control my emotions during that time. I don't want to be seen as weak among fellow officers. They'll look down on me for being some cute bunny and I will prove them wrong. Another family comes in and the deer family that I know for they stop by our farm liking our carrots and blueberries.
"I will make a world a better place even with a loss," I say
No matter what I can make the world a better place as a police officer. I will no matter what happens. Even if being a police officer would be nearly impossible due to me being a rabbit I won't give up. For you don't give up on your dreams. Looking back at the fox family and seeing that the parents are still waiting for their food. They just dine and dashers so they have to wait.
"Your order ready Judy."
"Thanks, Joe," I say
I take the bug bacon which smells weird and gross. I wouldn't eat a bug, not a chance for those are for predators. I walk over back to him, having a kind smile on my face. Chief Grayfur already knows that I support him.
"Thank you, Ms. Hopps," Francis said
"You're welcome Chief Grayfur," I say
When I paw him his meal I see a cute drawing made by a kit. My art skills are terrible and I have to take an art class to get an art credit. I just pass that class and it was art because my parents didn't want me taking a wood class. Too dangerous for a rabbit and that was the end of that. Mom and dad keep all drawings, paintings, cards, etc we have given them. They're all in a box for safekeeping. I will do the same for my one litter of future kits.
"Who drew you to that?" I ask
"Nice kits who wanted to make me happy," Francis said
Chief Grayfur does have a hint of happiness in his eyes and a small smile on his face. Kits can cheer you up I know my younger siblings do. I have a lot of them and I love them all. Even when they can be so annoying. We do have fights and make-up. Looking over at the deer family they have wonderful kits.
Chief Grayfur gave me a nice tip of fifty bucks. Overall that workday was a great one and more money into my savings account. After the shift, I found out it was a bank robbery gone wrong. An innocent mammal lost their life and it was a horrible death. One of the bank robbers was killed and the other two will be in prison for the rest of their lives. How can money be worth more than an innocent life? That I will never understand. Before heading to school I get my tea from Snarlbucks to get my tea. I get my tea a few times a week. I'm not a Scrooge with money. Seeing that Chief Grayfur is here and drinking his tea is not a fan of coffee but likes donuts. I do as well for they're good.
"Hello, Ms. Hopps," Francis said
"Good morning Chief Grayfur, how are you feeling today?" I ask
"I'm better and I have something for you," Francis said "Last night wasn't the right time."
"What do you have to give me?" I ask
I wonder what he was going to give to me last night. Also, why wouldn't it have been the right time? I head closer to him and he takes out a small piece of paper. I know the size of it a check. Why would he give me a check? Chief Grayfur paws me the check and I take it seeing that it's a large check. Twenty thousand dollars, where did he get this kind of money? I haven't seen so much before.
"This is too much sir," I say "what if I don't become a police officer?"
"My life will be over soon during the next decade and my family will be well cared for. I want to help you Ms. Hopps someday to be officer Hopps. No worries about money like I had to face. If that would be the case, well that money will help your family in a time of need." Francis said, "I have only one rule: Be a good cop, don't let biases cloud your judgment."
"I won't let you down sir," I say
I don't like hearing that but he's getting there. My Pop-Pop is still alive and one of the oldest rabbits in Bunnyburrow. That's something that is admired and Pop-Pop is a typical great grandfather. He lives with us having his old room. We learned not to bother him during naptimes for grandparents take a lot of naps. He likes telling us stories and kit sitting us. Pop-Pop thinks me becoming a cop is crazy and rabbits don't do that. I will be killed by predators, especially by a fox. We let that be since he's from his time and bigotry was a huge issue. Now it isn't which is good news. I put the check in a safe place and head to get my tea.
That check helped me out so much and even with all that money I'm going to live a modest life. That's what Francis did and is a good life to live. I gather up my things and have a small bag to keep my wallet, phone, pen, and notebook safe. I head out to get in the carpool car that heads to Zootopia. It comes after breakfast hours and comes before shut-in time. If you miss that time you get into trouble and with a possibility of being kicked out of the academy. If it kept happening. I have a ride back so I have no worries. Also, I'm great at keeping track of time and you do that in a large household. Early risers get the first shifts and you'll be waiting if you're late.
I walk in the hallways that honor cadets that graduated and became police officers. Names are honored but those who break oath are taken off and forgotten about. I will be honored for I won't be a dirty cop. I want to make the world a better place, not a worse one. Luckily there isn't a lot which is good news.
"I will be up there," I say
I will be the first rabbit on these ways and I did find Chief Grayfur and his son. It makes me happy that soon I will be on this wall. I won't be a failure but a great police officer that makes the world a better place. That makes me smile and can't wait to protect the streets of Zootopia. I head over to the car and other cadets are waiting. They treat me more nicely after rising to the top. It feels great that I'm one of them now.
Zootopia sure is a beautiful city and I'm going to love patrolling here. So many different worlds sights to see without spending thousands of dollars. I never had dreams of world travel but I did care about different police forces worldwide. I did a project with different police uniforms around the world which was a lot of fun. I loved learning about police uniforms around the world. Soon I will wear an official ZPD uniform. I will have a real place and badge. Marshlands was a nice district to visit. Currently, in Tundratown, I wouldn't live year-round but I would visit. I do like snow having younger siblings snow fun never got old. Bunnyburrow has great hills to sled on. As a kit, I always enjoyed snow days. I did like school but snow days were always more fun.
We got a whole lot of snow which means no school! That means we can play in the snow and have hot chocolate. Two of the greatest things about winter. Christmas is the first for that's the best holiday gathering around with family and getting presents.
"We have to get to the hill!" I say
We have to get the hill before others then we have to wait and waiting sucks. I don't like waiting I want to do things right away. Me being fast has perks I usually get first shifts and mom and dad tell me I have work on waiting. Patience is key well I want a new key. Just waiting for Jude we're a sledding team.
"You have to get dressed." Bonnie said, "You will catch a cold."
"But mom I am dressed!" I say
"It's all of it, Judith." Bonnie said, "Or you have to stay inside." '
"Fine!" I say "Jude throw me a sweater….please."
I don't know why I have to wear a sweater as well. It's not that cold. Moments later a sweater flies at me and I try to catch it but it hits me on the face. It's a nice pink sweater and that will let me out. So I put it on now I can go outside.
"Let's get to that hill," Jude said
"Be home around lunch and take a break," Bonnie said
"We will," I say
We have hours to play outside for lunch has shifts and we can wait for the last lunch. We place on our snow pants, snowshoes, winter coat, scarf, hat, and mittens. I have a navy blue jacket, also a navy blue scarf, hat, and mittens. My hat has a gold star as a police hat would have. Jude's jacket is blue, and the same for his hat and mittens. We open up the door and grab our sleds. They stay outside during the winter. Dumping the snow and we run off to the hill.
We're one of the first at the hill and have to wait for six two groups. So not too bad. We'll sled for a bit for fun then have races with our friends. We do love having races and snowball fights. I remember once accidentally I got hit by a snowball with some ice it hurt and was left with a cut cheek. Mom and dad weren't pleased snowball fights had to stop for a few weeks. Walking up the hill some more and getting close to the top. We have to wait for a few minutes so there are no crashes. It has happened and injuries have happened to nothing too bad. Watching the first group go first and they go fast. Our sleds can go fast we love going fast. Moving up again and the next group will go soon. Then we will go and it will be so much fun. Then the next group goes. We get to the top of the hill and get our sleds ready.
"See you at the bottom," I say
"Not if I get there first," Jude said
Jude and I smile at each other and we always do that. They have left the bottom of the hill and we head off. Sledding fast and the wind feels nice. It only takes a few minutes to get to the bottom and I got there first just barely.
"That was great," I say
"Let's keep going!" I say
"Of course," Jude said
We grab our sleds and head back to the line there's more now. Not fun but we have to wait. I don't like to wait because it's so boring. I like doing things not waiting. Action is more of my thing but I don't have ADHD just impatient. We sled for a few hours and have races with our friends until it gets dark.
I feel tears fall down my face and I wipe them away. Those were the days we had a lot of fun. I walk around mom wouldn't like it. I'm just wearing my nice jacket, pants, snowshoes, hat, and gloves. I'm not cold and the temperature right now is ten degrees. Mom and dad didn't want us out long in that weather. We'll catch a cold or pneumonia if we don't wear all winter clothing. I found in high school that were lies. It was mom and dad being overbearing as they always are. Rabbit parents are like that feeling like the whole world is dangerous. Dad always states to watch out for predators. I have to remind him even rabbits can be jerks and I have met a few. Bullies of course, like my old bully Jenny Daisyfur a rabbit like me. She never liked me and thought she was better than me. Since she is a normal rabbit wanting a family and to continue to farm like her family before her. Jenny isn't bad now having her own family and their farm still going good. There was also Brianna Thornton a white-tailed deer a rich sob who thought farmers are disgusting and dumb. Hates dirt, of course, she has to have the latest fashion. Mocked me for wearing paw-down clothing and plaid. Brianna hates plaid all about skirts and dresses. Still shows to this day on Fieldbook and Instagain. Very popular and that has kept her ego in check. Still has it out for me. There was also Gideon Grey a fox, of course, he would bully me since I'm a rabbit and he's a fox. He has hurt me the most sense he left scars on my cheek. Mom and Dad didn't like that one bit.
Well, I got my friend's tickets back but Gideon has cut me and they're deep cuts. Why would he do something like that I just kicked him. My kick wouldn't hurt that much. Predators hurting preys with their claws is assault if it's not self-defense but I won't report it just tell his parent and mine. Even those he's a fox he doesn't deserve to be in big trouble. After all, he's just a kit.
"You have to get that cleaned for it can become easily infected."
"That's true," I say
We learned that if you get scratched by a predator you clean the right away or it will become infected. The claws of a predator are dirty and hurt you so easily. I don't like that stuff but it protects wounds.
"Judy!"
Oh, my parents are looking for me and I guess I did wander off. They were talking about farming and how that makes the world a better place one carrot at a time. This is true but boring I want to make the world a better place as a police officer. They head over to where we're gathering and they're not happy. Of course, they hate when I wander off. It's their fault they're so boring.
"Judy how many times do we tell you to not wander off," Bonnie said
"I'm told to not do that," I say
I have to tell them that many times because I don't listen to them when comes to that. I never go far so they don't worry that much. They have their paws on their hips yep I'm in big trouble. One of the ways we know we're in trouble. The other is when they use our full names and most parents do that.
"What did you do this time," Stu asked
"It's Gideon Grey's fault he started it!" I say
"Well, you shouldn't have continued it," Bonnie said
"Always scream for help when a predator is there," Stu said
I'm going to be grounded for a week by the looks of it. Then it will be a boring week. All I can do chores and think about what I did. It's a punishment to tell us to not do bad things. Other siblings learn but I'm stubborn. Mom looks at my wound and she's upset. From her purse, she gets a small water spray which is used to cool us down on a hot day. Washing my wound and putting that stuff on it smells bad. Then she puts a large bandage on and she always has those on paw.
"But he would have run away with my friend's tickets if an adult came," I say
"Just for tickets and they would have been replaced your friends wouldn't lie about what happened," Bonnie said
"Gideon could have seriously hurt you since he's a predator," Stu said
They always tell us to stand up for ourselves and others that's the right thing to do. So why are they treating standing up for my friends as wrong? Gideon was in the wrong for hurting my friends and me. They earned their tickets fairly and Gideon didn't.
"She just wanted to help us as a good friend does," Sharla said
"Judy was awesome," Garth said
My friends are standing up for me as I did for them. Friends always stand up for each other. I will always stand up for my friends. A police officer stands up for others and stops wrongdoings. I will always stand up to that for that makes the world a better place.
"Helping is not making things worst," Bonnie said
"Let's get something sweet to get your minds off of this savagery," Stu said
"Cotton candy!"
I don't feel like having sweets for I feel bad right now. But I'll still have some cotton candy for mom and dad's sake. We head over back to my family stand and older siblings watch us or rather me. Mom and dad head over to get our cotton candy. It only takes them a few minutes and we get to enjoy some cotton candy. While they talk with Gideon's parents and they're not happy.
Mom and dad made me feel bad for what happened but I didn't stop. Gideon got into big trouble and didn't bother us again like that. He did get what he deserved stealing is bad all he had to do was play the games as they did. Walking around taking in the sights. I pass by The Thaw it's a restaurant to fancy for lunch. It has live music, food, dancing, and a plunge pool that's always above freezing. I have done polar plunge before despite mom and dad protests. Always thought I would freeze to death. Never did within those few minutes for charity. I can pawdle water like that for a few minutes to help others. Polar Plunge always raises good money back at home and here it must be great. Since Tundra mammals can go in much longer. Do they record who can last the longest? There's another place to eat Clark Halibuts but that's not for me regards towards predators with fish on the menu. I would never eat fish too weird. Walking around some more I will visit Tundratown when I have free time. I would enjoy it here there's ice staking and I do enjoy that. Don't have skills like a figure skater but I can ice skate. Mom and dad like ice skating as long as we didn't do crazy tricks. I didn't since I didn't want to hurt myself.
"Tundratown Limo Service," I say
Weird I figured that a limo service would be in the downtown area of Zootopia that makes more sense to me. Maybe each district has its own limo service. I haven't been paying true attention to that. But this stood out to be don't know why something about draws me to the business. It's nothing special just a refrigerated limo. I have been in one before with my friends during senior year. I only went as a senior didn't want to prom twice and saw no need. I did go to parties and acted like a normal teen. Never took drugs or drank underage mom and dad would have killed me and I didn't want my chances of being a police officer ruined by a record. So I was a good girl who played by the rules. Prom was fun and we went as group friends. We did have dates and nothing serious. My date was an average buck who has his own family by now. Nothing came out of that date just went together for prom.
My friends and I decided to rent a limo for prom. We might as well go out for that we only lived one. Riding in a limo is cool news here, especially among farmers. Limos are better than tractors and farmers rarely ride in a limo. Only rich folks do that and we do have them. They live in a community together and the best place to get candy. Knowing the right homes to go to. Not every mammal living there is pleased we go there. As a kit, I didn't understand Halloween for everyone. Now I do I would find it annoying that kits not from the neighborhood went to mine simply because of candy.
"We get to ride in a limo," Sharla said
"That's what hard work does," Barbara said
Looking over Barbara Gardner, an Arctic hare same age, we became friends after she moved to Bunnyburrow in second grade. Coming from Tundratown Zootopia and they're florists. Doing great at what they do and we get bouquets from their family. Barbara is wearing a beautiful floral dress. It's a dark green dress with small white flowers. She's taller than me having brownish-gray fur and light gray eyes. Her ears are smaller with black tips. I'm wearing a navy blue dress with little gemstones. Mom and dad made sure my dress was worthy. I wouldn't wear a dress like they don't want me to. Not my style nor do I think it's wrong. Catherynne wearing a glittering aquamarine dress. Sharla wearing a purple galaxy prom dress.
"Once in a lifetime for us."
Looking over at my date Mark and I have a few classes together. He's a rabbit like me and is a few inches taller. Wearing a nice suit with a blue tie. Steven is Barbara's date and he's an arctic hare like her. He's wearing a gray suit with a green tie. Same age and they get along well. Adam is Catherynne's date and he has down syndrome and they're good friends. He's wearing a blue shirt and a colorful tie. Finally, Tom is a ram and he's Sharla's date. He's wearing a suit and a silver tie.
"It will be a fun time we have to take a lot of pictures," Adam said
"Pictures that we will treasure forever," Catherynne said
"I can't wait," Sharla said
We're being picked up at the restaurant we chose to eat at. Nothing special but a nice place to eat at. There's a discount if you go during prom. We went early so we had time to eat. The limo will be here any minute. It's a nice warm spring day and the stars will be coming out.
"I'm excited as well I have never ridden something so fancy," Tom said, "It's going to be the best car ride ever!"
"It will be," Catherynne said
Mom and dad thought it was a waste of money. They were happy to go to prom in dad's family truck. Decorated with their prom theme. That truck is old and I'm surprised it's still running. I didn't want to do that and we all chipped so what we each spent wasn't a lot. Watched as the limo comes over to us. The front is decorated with flowers and they're nice-looking flowers. We take a lot of pictures. Our dates hold the door open for us and we enter the limo which is also decorated. Fitting the theme of this year which looks nice. Sitting inside a limo is nice. The seats are comfortable and not filled with junk. We sit and take more pictures as the limo drives.
"This was so worth it for I feel famous and rich," Mark said "Seats are very comfortable no crumbs of food."
"Or crushing between siblings," Catherynne said
"That's annoying and it's great to have elbow room."
Rabbits and hares understand what we're talking about. Having so many siblings we have fit in with many siblings. It's a pain but you deal with it if you want to get out. I still remember elbows at my stomach or ribs. That was always annoying.
"I'm glad I only have three siblings." Tom said, "That would drive me crazy."
I don't know his siblings well this is the first time we have hung out. He's a good ram and they will have fun together. Just like Mark is a good buck and we're going have fun tonight. We do get mocked for having so many siblings. A lot mocked us for being breeders and for having too many kits. I plan to only have one litter of kits for I still want to be a police officer. Being a mother isn't out of the question. I do want a family just not a big one. Tom didn't say that in a mocking tone and I don't think he would mock other rabbits or hares. Sharla wouldn't have asked him to prom. She has never mocked us it's just Garth and her. Sharla is teased for being a black sheep for black woof is uncommon and almost rare. It's not seen as a good thing luckily her parents and brother don't think like that. Tom doesn't either for has defended her from what Sharla has told me. So that makes him a ram.
"It can get annoying but it's good," Adam said "I do like my big family."
Adam's family isn't huge like mine for his family only has three litters. Catherynne's family is smaller as well only having five litters. Also, a lot of hares have smaller families as well. Barbara's family only has two and she's part of the second litter. I don't know much about Steven. Mark's family is like mine.
"I do as well," Mark said, "we don't have to take care of those fake kits."
Oh yes, that project in health rabbits and hares don't have to do that. Since we have so many siblings. We have to talk about our own experiences of being a big family. I have taken care of many younger siblings. Already know how to take care of a kit very well. Other classmates have to learn and they don't like those fake kits. I watched Sharla and Garth take care of them they didn't seem too bad.
"I do feel bad for you I like my beauty sleep," Barbara said
"It feels like karma for all the mocking," Steven said
They have to take care of it themselves with no help since they're the only ones with the key. Of course, that doesn't happen since that can be easily overcome. Since they're the ones taking care of their kit they have to be with them almost all day. Our youngest siblings have nurseries and parents and older siblings take care of them during the night and early in the morning. Karma does work like that at least we won't be woken up by a machine to teach us about parenting.
After that, we talk about prom and how we're excited about it. Enjoy the snacks and pop as we talk and enjoy the ride. We paid for the small drive ride so we can enjoy the experience of riding in a limo. Taking the scenic route to the school this drive is nice. There's no annoying bickering or stabbing elbows. It's nice to enjoy the ride. We get to school about fifteen minutes later and there's a crowd gathering around. Take pictures before heading inside the gym. They do see the limo and wonder who's inside. Brianna is already here and is wearing a fancy royal purple dress. Also wearing expensive jewelry. She looks like a queen and she did that on purpose. Brianna date Curtis and he's rich like her. He's wearing a fancy suit and a purple bowtie.
"Who's in the limo,"
"Sure wasn't Brianna and Curtis."
So Brianna's parents must have canceled her limo ride. She was making fun of others stating she was going to have the best ride ever. A ride fit for a queen and king. No like her attitude and so she got what she deserved that's great news. We get out of the limo and the crowd is surprised. Brianna gives us a hateful stare as we walk one by one.
Of course, Brianna and Curtis were prom queen and king there wasn't going to be another case. We all know it's rigged either the popular ones or those with disabilities win to look good. Brianna got a crown made for herself after she had to return the fake crown. She just couldn't let that go.
"Maybe I'll find myself he as a police officer," I say
I wonder what would drive me to a place like this that doesn't seem criminal. It has a wired fence that's climbable and you could dig below. So a break-in at nighttime could be the case. I do wonder what's going to be my first case as a police officer. It won't be murder since ZPD wouldn't assign a rookie to that. Someday I'll solve my first murder case. I walk some more and decide to have some hot chocolate to have something warm. Hot chocolate was always popular at home. Mom and dad could buy a lot at a nice price and we could enjoy hot chocolate during wintertime. Take a sip and this good hot chocolate. Wiping whip cream that sticks to my lips and continue to walk.
Tundratown is all finished and I won't be getting lost. Unless a random blizzard happens I won't be able to see. Wearing a raincoat since I'm in the rainforest district. The smells nice and I have always enjoyed the smell of rain. Not always a fan of rain for too much can kill our crops or too little will as well. We have had bad seasons before but we always pulled through. We rise as a community when bad seasons happen.
"Treehouses," I say
I wouldn't live here I'm not afraid of heights but falling to my death would be scary. That's a death I don't want to happen. Nor want to burn or suffocate to death those would be worse ways to go. I haven't thought about dying on the job it does happen. I want to protect Zootopia so thoughts about dying during duty are something that I don't think about. We do have a treehouse back at home. Overall it's old but the treehouse gets rebuilt once the wood becomes unsafe. Wood doesn't last forever and it has burned before Hence why fire safety is needed. The tree has managed to survive for hundreds of years. Even those droughts, getting struck by lighting, minor fire. I wonder how long that old family tree will last it won't last forever. Once the tree does it will be replanted by future Hopps.
"My younger siblings would love to live in a treehouse," I say
My younger siblings love spending time in the treehouse. Jude and I spent a lot of time inside the treehouse. It was a police station for me and I took down a lot of bad guys. Solving different cases was a lot of fun. Those were the days and now I can do it for real. Which I'm ready for. There's this boat tour called Cap'n Ralphine's riverboat tours. Which travels around Rainforest district when I have free time I'll take that tour. There's also the Gondola and I will take that back to the downtown area to Zootopia. Then meeting up with Demetrius and Ceres.
"Alright time to have some lunch," I say
Deciding to have a light lunch because I'm going to have a nice homemade meal which I always enjoy. Back at home, I got to enjoy a lot of homemade meals with fresh vegetables, spices, herbs, and fruit from other farms. We learned how to cook as soon as possible like farming. We didn't do anything dangerous when we were young kits. Just washing fruits and vegetables. Adding them to food, siring, and things like that. We couldn't use a knife until we were much older. They didn't want us cutting our fingers off. It was the same for dealing with a hot oven. I have cut and burned myself. My cooking skills are good and I learned to cook from my parents and older siblings. I taught my younger siblings it's a cycle that won't stop. I'll teach my kits and they don't have to worry about having so many siblings. I'll give them the time and day that they need. I did get to see mom and dad but I saw my siblings more. That's what happens in a huge family. Parents don't have the time to give the love and attention that kit needs. So there were a lot of mixed feelings. Some looked for siblings and looked at each other for they felt they weren't getting the attention they needed so they stuck together. That was Jude and me because we were a rare twin litter. It's rare in rabbits and hares since we have a lot of kits in a litter. Because of that Jude and I had a close bond and always looked out for each other. Just as a twin would do. We have met other twins and they had a close bond. We have been asked who's the evil twin and that's just a trope that entertainment does. Both of us are good and Jude did play a criminal when no one wanted to. Either of us has gotten into serious trouble before. We never had detention for we followed the rules. Both of us were called teacher kits which means a favorite of a teacher. Jude and I were since we were good students. Doing our homework and helping when they needed it. Didn't make us popular but we didn't care about that.
Decided to get a vegetable wrap and chips for lunch because I enjoy that. I had a lot of wraps growing up for they're simple to do and don't cost a lot. Chips were a favorite and they never lasted long. It was a madhouse once a chip back was open and it was every kit for themselves. It was nice having a job to get your own chips which your little siblings can't have. My favorite chip flavor is ranch. I was lucky it wasn't a popular favor so I got to enjoy more chips. It only takes me a few minutes to finish my lunch as I walk.
"The Tiki Hut," I say
Seeing that it's a small smoothie shop and smoothies were also a favorite treat. Since they were also easy and cheap to make. We always had fresh vegetables and fruit at home. Deciding to also have a smoothie. So I head inside and there's a line I can wait. Looks like it's a popular shop and I'm sure the smoothies will taste great. Some tables look like tikis and each is a different color. I grab a menu and I'll keep it.
"Hundred thirty-seven flavors!" I say
I'm surprised that a small smoothie shop like this could have so many flavors. I could have a different smoothie a day for the part of the year. The menu goes from A to Z which makes the most sense. Looking at the list and I grew to like all fruits and vegetables. Some I would rather not have like celery or grapefruit. I have a lot of choices so it's hard to choose one. What I'm I in the mood for I'll skip apple this time. I'll try one next time.
"Papaya I haven't had that and I do like them," I say
Fruits like Papayas were a nice fruit treat since they can't be grown in Bunnyburrow since it's a tropical fruit. I don't know what my favorite fruit is since I have so many. But my favorite vegetable is avocadoes I just love them. I do enjoy carrots but they're not going to be on the top ten list.
"Papaya and pineapple sound good," I say
That's what I'm going to have and medium-sized. The prices are good for what you get. I'll take my family here they would love a place like this. Dad and mom would like this place they like businesses that use fresh fruit and vegetables in their products for that's the best way to do it. Moving in line and it only takes a few minutes to get in front of the line. I'm shocked to find lemurs running the business. They don't live in Bunnyburrow and they're originally from Madagascar and they're also known to be farmers. Growing fruits like papaya, pineapple, passion fruit, and litchi.
"Wow," I say "sorry I don't mean to be rude."
"It's alright we don't get a lot of rabbits and hares here. First time seeing a lemur?"
"It is my first time," I say
"We get that a lot and what would you like?"
"Papaya and pineapple medium," I say
"That's a great one."
I can't believe that I just acted like that it's embarrassing I'm an adult, not a little kit. At least I'm not the only one who does that. I pay for my smoothie and I see another lemur making it with fresh papayas and pineapples. It only takes a few minutes to make and I see it comes in a nice paper cup with their Tiki Hut logo.
"Thank you," I say
I take my smoothie and leave a nice tip for me being rude. There are mammals behind me so I head out on my way. It's raining and I have an umbrella ready for the rain nothing special just a good old umbrella. I remember thinking I would blow away when it was windy I would blow away since I was small. I take a sip of my smoothie and it's amazing. The best smoothie I ever had. The flavors are differently balanced and is blended great. I'll go back there and try different flavors.
"Don't splash in all the puddles."
Looking at a young jaguar jumping in puddles just as most young kids do. I never did because I found that annoying and it wasn't liked in our family. Since laundry is almost all day with all the clothes we have. So Jude and I took care of our clothes not wanting to make more work for our parents and older siblings. I sip more of my smoothie and I finish it in no time. I recycle once I find a bin. The rain has stopped so I put my umbrella back after letting the loose rain off. Walking around some more and writing down what's important. Looking to see this small otter family, parents and their two sons, they're passing a soccer ball around. Looks like the two of them like soccer and I did play as a kit or in gym class. Never joined a team since that wasn't what I wanted nor did mom or dad like it. They always thought soccer was too dangerous for a rabbit. They always think we're fragile and can break easily. I have broken my arm before and mom and dad were displeased. I misjudged a move during volleyball and that hurt a lot. I hated those weeks because I couldn't work out. I was making sure that I stayed in shape so I could be a police officer. Doing nothing drove me crazy and studying is not my thing too long and boring after long periods. Mom and dad make us do little whenever we break or sprain something. I suppose it does make sense but I still found it too annoying.
"Great shot son and your team work were great."
"Thanks, Dad,"
"It's time for lunch."
Watching them head over to their mother with happiness in their eyes. Someday that's going to be me. When I'm older or at least old for rabbit or hare. Since I want to focus on my career as a police officer. I'll figure it out as I go. I know that I will be a great mother even if others don't think so.
Today we're going to talk about our futures and I have been looking forward to that. Sure I have already told that to others in my play. I want to tell my future again because I'm excited about it. It's better than being a farmer there's nothing wrong with that just a boring life. I have lived it since I was little and it's a life I don't want.
"When I grow up I want to be a nurse. Why do I want to be a nurse I want to help others just as I helped."
Laura would be a good nurse she likes helping others. If someone gets hurt on the playground she there's to calm them down and take them to the school nurse. Maybe if I lived in a smaller household I would imagine myself becoming a nurse. In my life that's a no I wouldn't like being around sick mammals every day in my life. I don't like it sickness can spread like well a plague. There's a special sick room to lessen the effects. Those with health issues are close together so they can be helped out. I just don't like seeing that either I couldn't handle that every day as well. It's just too heartbreaking. We clap for her for that's a wonderful future. She heads back to her desk. Now someone else will tell about their future. I want to tell them about my future but Mr. Simseed tells me I have to work on my patience that's overrated. Seeing that Jenny raises her paw and she's chosen next. She's going to have a boring future she wants to be a farmer and raise a family. Just like the other rabbit classmates. She doesn't like me thinking I'm weird and Jenny goes to the front of the class.
"For my future, I will raise my own family I want to be a mother and have many kits. I want to continue my family's farm." Jenny
Yep same old boring future and roll my eyes. Rabbits and hares clap for her of course they would. Other classmates are bored and she heads back to her desk. Another classmate comes and he wants to be a mechanic. Still, I can't go I still have to wait. Next Barbara raises her paw and she's next. Now I like her dream for she has a wonderful one. Barbara goes to the front of the class.
"My future is wonderful I will become a florist. I will have a family too. I want to show the beauty of flowers. Rather they're real flowers or fake. Maybe I will run my florist shop or work at my family shops. No matter my future holds flowers."
I clap and so do our classmates Barbara will have a great future. Just like our other friends and Jude. Just like my future will be great. I will protect so many mammals and make the world a better place. I have dreams of that how I will make the wonder a better place. Saving kits from bad guys. Arresting those who commit crimes and all that jazz. Making sure that thieves and murderers pay for their crimes I will bring justice. Barbra takes her seat and Briana goes up and I shake my head. She's wearing a shirt and skirt that mom and dad couldn't afford. Nor they would buy such clothes. Doesn't fit a farmer's life and we do have nice clothes just for occasions that need nice clothes like birthdays and holidays.
"My future is going to be grand. I will be a model. Buying the best clothes and modeling them. I will show what fashion is and…..help others who need it."
I know that's what she wasn't going to say for she was given a look by Mr. Simseed. Briana always looks down she sees fashion losers. My friends and I are fashion losers. She hates plaid and causes Mandela designs lame which Catherynne wears. We don't care what she has to say for she takes fashion way too seriously for a kit. Won't play outside unless she had bad clothes that can get dirty. We clap for her even those her future is selfish. Mr. Simseed looks at me and I can finally go. It's about time that I got to go. So I pick up my police hat and head to the front of the class. Held my hat behind my back.
"For my future, I will make the world a better place by being a police officer!" I say
I place my police hat on and wave my paws upwards with a smile on my face. Classmates look at me with surprise. Briana and Jenny want to laugh but don't. Barbara smiles at me. A few moments later they clap for me.
Of course, I was made fun of for wanting to be a police officer. It was rough but I pulled through and now I have the final laugh. They'll see me on the news making the world a better place. I finish my drink. So I recycle and walk along the Rainforest district.
Alright, I have everything written down and will be ready to patrol the Rainforest district. I head over to the gondola. I'll be making my back to the downtown area of Zootopia. It's raining again and I head over to the platform. There's no one else around and I slip hitting the medium wall. I get up and look down.
"That would be a bad way to go," I say
Fall deaths and injuries have happened before. Mostly due to being drunk or high but murders have happened. If you plan it out you can land on leaves and be warped in vines to save yourself. I can see it happening. I make my way to the edge and step inside the Gondola. The view is amazing and I take a picture. I'll post that on my Fieldbook my friends are going to love it. They did love my other pictures.
"Soon I'll protect Zootopia," I say "I will show that a rabbit can be a police officer. I will show what little preys are capable of. To give hope to others."
Soon my lifetime dream will become true and all I have done to make the dream come will be rewarded. I will show that dreams do come true even if it takes some time and a little luck. Dreams will come true and my first arrest will be so great. It will happen within a few days of being a police officer. Then I will keep that newspaper story. I will hang a story about me being the first rabbit officer it's going to be great.
It's almost time to meet up with Demetrius and Ceres. It makes me happy that I'm going to meet up with them. Mom and dad will be happy they're afraid I'm not going to make any friends. They like the Underwoods so they'll be pleased with Demetrius and Ceres. I'll make more friends with preys. It's going to be great. I see them walking over to me. I wave over at them.
"Hello, Judy how was your walk around Zootopia?" Demetrius asked
"It was amazing Zootopia is a great and beautiful city," I say
"Zootopia is like you said and love living here." Ceres said, "Living in Meadowlands will remind you of Bunnyburrow."
I'm going to love living in Zootopia there's so much to see and friends to make. Also to make the world a better place. Meadowlands does remind me of Bunnyburrow with the hills. We would sled, race, and fly kites. Running down a hill with a kite was always fun. Did a few kits try to fly yes they did and luckily no one died doing so. Broken bones and head injuries for some. Jude and I never cared about flying so we never did that. Did other siblings yes they did and it was a crazy time. It always freaked mom and dad out. Both of them are wearing stetsons and they look good in one.
"Maybe someday I'll live there," I say
"That would be nice," Demetrius said, "Then you can see Ceres and me all the time."
Currently, I'll be living in one room apartment in the downtown area of Zootopia. It's a good apartment to start with. I'll make my way up there or find roommates. I'm going to spend my money wisely. Mom and dad wouldn't like the apartment I found it too risky for a rabbit. They would like me if I lived in Meadowlands that's safe for a rabbit. Yet there were no apartments available in Meadowlands so I got what I could.
"Okay let's head out I'm hungry and ready to party!" Ceres said
"Oh yes, the party of three so fun," I say
I laugh I have been looking forward to this. By the looks of it, they have been looking forward to it like me. It's nice knowing I already made friends and I will make more. I'll be friends with fellow prey officers and friendly with predator officers. I have wondered who would be my fellow police officers and partner. I haven't looked yet for I don't know what precinct I will work at. I hope it's a good one. I do want to make the world a better place. That would be difficult to do with a precinct that has little crime. We walk and talk about our days. As we get to their house I have been wondering something. I have known them for a few weeks and haven't seen something.
"So do you have any spouses?" I ask
"I'm not married still looking for the right buck," Ceres said
"Divorced and have four kits," Demetrius said
"Really?!" I say
That's unheard of in a rabbit and hare community. Most are married by twenty and start their own families. Those who don't are given weird looks. I remember this old lady that never married or had kits. She was talked about and got looks. She died when I was in middle school and I do remember her being kind. I didn't understand why she didn't marry or had kits. She died alone and that's a sad fate. Divorce is taboo in our community for getting one is seen as bad. Families stick together and face hardships no matter what. Abuse is a no-brainer we don't stand for that.
"Yep and we weren't right for it other. We don't regret our kits for we love them our hearts but we never did to each other." Demetrius said "Our parents were displeased and we married because of them. We were young and did what we thought was best."
So those are his kits and the thought never came to me. For I never saw a wife. I shouldn't have thought like that it's wrong. I thought they were one big happy family. I have heard that before. Some are brought together by parents. A reason is to bring a family together.
"My parents tried setting me up." I say "No buck wanted to be with the weird doe."
There were many bucks and they all backed out. Like always they wanted a normal doe, not some weirdo who wanted to be a police officer. A career that would get me killed with ease. Such a waste of a life. I have heard so many things from them and it hurt a lot. But I never gave up I will have the last laugh. Having a great career and family.
"You're great Judy," Ceres said, "I'm glad to have you as a friend."
"Weirdness is not always bad and you're the good kind of weird," Demetrius said
"Thank you, Demetrius and Ceres," I say
It's nice having more friends that don't see me as a bad weird. I can never forget the looks and now have more to remember when I see them. Mom and dad are going to be happy those still wish that a hare or rabbit would knock some sense into me.
"So what are your kit's names?" I ask
"Peter, Liam, Wyatt, and Kimberly." Demetrius said, "They're eight years old and a pawful."
"Aren't all kits like that?" I ask
"Toche," Ceres said
My younger siblings are pawful and my future kits will be the same for that's what kits do. Jude and I were pawsful for my parents. Those we still were good kits. I know that Demetrius kits are good for he's a great buck. Good, kind, loving, and hard working the type of gentlemammal you want.
"Yes, my sister caused the most trouble," Demetrius said
"Hey that was your fault older brother," Ceres said
"Not true," Demetrius said
Demetrius did tell me he was five minutes older than Ceres. I'm older than Jude by ten minutes. Being the older twin you get the superiorly for being older. What you say goes of course for us it's for fun. Watching Demetrius and Ceres reminds me of Jude and me. Most twins have a special bond and we sure do. Jude knew that I could become a police officer and didn't stop believing that I could. It was nice to always have someone by your side. I would be on his side for that's what siblings do.
"The older siblings are wiser we don't cause trouble." I say
"See Judy gets it," Demetrius said
Ceres rolls her eyes playfully and laughter comes from us. Yes, older siblings are wiser sense we're older. So we got to teach our younger siblings it's one of our jobs as an older siblings. I have taught many good lessons. Just like I was taught many lessons from older siblings. I follow them to their home.
They live in a nice home in Meadowlands it's a nice four-bedroom home. Having a fence yard and trees in the front yard. The tree is bare since it's winter. In the spring the trees will be filled with leaves. Reminds me of trees back home. There's a swing on each tree and we had that back at home. I still love swinging to this day and the perks of being short you can still do it as an adult. I still can go down slides as well. Still find it fun to this day.
"So do you have an apple tree here?" I ask
"We did until it was struck by lightning and died we planted one shortly after. It's going to take some time to bear apples." Demetrius said
"That's rough," I say "Our old family tree is a fighter. Someday we'll have to replant it."
"Nature is a powerful force," Ceres said
Nature is a powerful force and we have seen it happen. Rather nature survives after deadly weather. Or watching nature well be nature. The front door has a screen door and a regular wooden door. We head inside and there's a nice living room. Having a long couch and loveseat nice places to seat. Also, a long coffee table filled with stuff. There are remotes tied to the table.
"I see you tie down the remotes so they don't get lost," I say
"Yes they got lost all the time," Demetrius said "Ending up in most random places."
"That happens back at home," I say
Remotes always disappeared back at home for remotes hold power. You get to decide what's going to be on and there are fights for the remotes. I have done it when I was younger and wised up. It wasn't nice and I tried stopping my younger siblings. They're tough ones to stop once they have their mind on something. I sure was like that when I was younger and so did Jude.
"TV time is important and some shows can drive you crazy," Ceres said
"It is after a long day of work and school," I say "Oh yes they can I have watched countless hours of little kits shows."
Having so many younger siblings kit shows are played as it feels nonstop. I remember watching little kit shows and enjoying it. Now I find most of them annoying. Those I know its little kits for them to learn and be entertained.
"I bet you have," Demetrius said, "You have so many younger siblings."
"Too many to a lot of mammals," I say
I have seen looks and heard whispers about having so many siblings. Demetrius and Ceres have a smaller family than mine. They were surprised that I have hundreds of siblings. It's something you get used to as a rabbit. Yes, it's hard to keep track of them all and to take the time to talk to them. It would take all day. They ask about birthdays and there are a lot of them. It feels like a lot of them. Birthdays are still important Jude and my birthday is May 23. I was born at Harvest Moon Hospital at four fourteen in the afternoon and then Jude was born. There was nothing to it such it was normal birth the only difference there was were only two kittens.
They have the TV on the wall and it's a nice flatscreen TV. So movie nights would be great. Enjoy popcorn and we only have popcorn on movie nights. We pop our popcorn since we have to make a lot of it. If you are older you can buy your popcorn. I did buy my bag of popcorn and others can't take it. That was always nice to have something of your own. Sharing is nice but having your treats is nicer. We head over to the kitchen and dining area. It's a nice kitchen a typical one having counters and cabinets. An oven between and microwave above it. They have a steel fridge filled with pictures and pages. A sink and they would keep cleaning supplies and dishwasher soap. We use a dishwasher and paw wash dishes. There are a lot of dishes to wash so many that you get sick of washing and drying dishes. It's a chore that little likes.
"I see that your fridge is filled with pictures just like my families fridge," I say
"Yes, the fridge is the newsworthy place," Demetrius said
"That it is," I say
We always looked forward to getting on the fridge for that was honorable to us. We also had broads to hang up to stuff since there were so many of us. All of it is honorable but the fridge is the best. My days of going on the fridge on long gone since the family focuses on younger Hopps. Those items are in a box where the older sibling's stuff went. I'll keep newspaper clippings of my career. I take a seat and they have white wood dining chairs with names. The name is on top of the chair and this is Wyatt. Having four wood rectangles and small gaps, it has a light blue cushion.
"So you have a sitting arrangement," I say
"They all wanted to sit by daddy and aunt Ceres so we made the rearrangement," Demetrius said, "The chairs move each dinner."
"That's sweet for us its first come first serve," I say "Those Jude and I always sat close to each other."
"I just have to experience that one day." Ceres said, "It must be so chaotic."
"That would be fun and my parents would love that." I say "It is but you get used to it."
"I would imagine so and we like Stu and Bonnie good folks," Demetrius said
I would invite them to my home and that will in the future. Mom and dad are great and loved by the community. Hence why we're viewed as a top farm. We have one of the best crops and morals. Willing to help those who need it always ready to help a prey in need. It's what a good mammal does.
"My parents are good and I learned a lot from them." I say "So what's for dinner?"
"We're having a nice vegetable casserole, fruit salad, and bread," Ceres said
"To finish it off with our famous drink," Demetrius said, "Also our fantastic apple pie."
"That sounds great," I say
I do love a good old casserole and I had that a lot growing up. It does smell good and I can't wait to eat it I'm sure that Ceres and Demetrius are good cooks. I'm one myself and speaking of cooking I have to find a way to cook. I'm not eating frozen meals until I get a better apartment. Mom and dad would kill me they're all about the fresh vegetables and fruit. I can get a small burner that would work. I don't mind having soups and meals like that. I'm used to meals like that.
It doesn't take long for dinner to be ready. I get to go first since I'm the guest. They have these white plates with colorful apples. We have so many plates back home. Some are plain and others have decorations. I don't mind what plate I'm using for it's just a plate. Those as a kit I always got my favorite plate which was a police star one. I get what I want and take my seat. Demetrius and Ceres take seats next to me. I take a sip of their drink and it's amazing.
"This is so great," I say
"We're glad and we'll give you a bottle on the farm," Demetrius said
"Har har," I say
I would like that and I do enjoy a few drinks here and there. Of course, I never drank underage and my first was my twenty-first birthday. I knew others did but I never told on them. I was already the weird doe I didn't want to be a complete outcast by snitching. Jude and I enjoyed it together. Demetrius, Ceres, and I enjoy a nice dinner filled with chatter and drinks. Enjoying their freshly made pie and of course, they would a great apple pie. Mom and Dad would say too many because they're not drinkers. To busy raising a farm and a household. We can drink we just can't show up drunk. I can hold my liquor and my fellow cadets were surprised by that. I'll show them I'm not a meek little bunny and will become a great police officer.
Author Note Finally finished and not all the chapters will take as long. Judy had to have a good source of money or she couldn't afford an apartment in Zootopia. I can see her being a saver, not a Scrooge. She'll save money for her future but still will spend it from time to time. I can imagine Judy writing down important things about each distract so she wouldn't get lost. The Tiki Hut was not my creation but was part of Zistopia. I liked it so it became a nice small smoothie shop. I would enjoy favors with mango or passion fruit. Even those I haven't eaten a passion fruit before haha. Yep, I'm adding lemurs to my story and I can see them being farmers. Yes, my female lemur police officer and her sister will come back. The ZEMS as well just going to change their names. I forget their first names haha. I can imagine Judy liking avocados. I think everyone knows who that otter family and maybe they'll play a part. Yes her falling was a nod to what happened in the movie. I can see fall deaths happening but mostly because of being drunk or high. They should had better walls it feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. I want to show different lifestyles obliviously you'll see a stepfamily. Judy's family would be chaotic and other mammals would judge rabbits for having so many kittens. Unrealistic but it's fiction that anything happen haha. My version of Judy is heavyweight and I don't care for drunk scenes. I like mammals being surprised a small rabbit can drink. To annoying for me. Those I can stand by a few characters when they're drunk. Until next time readers.
