Also, I apologize ahead of time for any grammatical/spelling errors as I do not have anyone helping me edit and as we all know, we writers tend to read our work as it is in our brain instead of how it was actually written. I do try to catch things, but some do fall through the cracks. Thank you all for still reading it in all its glory and flaws. :) Also sorry for the rush through the fighting scenes. I've realized that I am not very good at attempting to write fights.
Hope you all enjoy the story

Previously from Chapter 6
"I can never guarantee that I will be able to figure it out, but I can promise that I will not give up trying. Anything I can do to help, I will."
After some more small talk, the three mages left to rest for the night before their two hour flight in the morning.
Chapter 7
The next morning came and the group of mages took their flight to the Academia Celeste, enjoying breakfast during their trip.
Once they arrived at their destination, both Cristoff and Lucy were giddy from the stellerium that was the very foundation the school had been built on. To give mages of the night sky and heavens a boost in their magic as they train.
Their magical containers were full to the brim causing their bodies to literally vibrate. The problem with this was both mages are very touchy, handsy, cuddly individuals. Keeping their hands to themselves and away from each other had become problematic for the group. To resolve the issue they broke the group up.
Kaleb left with Lucy to meet with the Dean in his office as the remainder of the mages left for the training grounds to see if they could find their brother Zen.
Just as they predicted, they found Zen currently in the middle of a spar with a finely dressed blonde man. It wasn't until they got closer to the fight, that the Fairies noticed just who Zen was sparing with. It was none other than Rufus Lore.
"Shit!" Bickslow had whispered under his breath catching Cris' attention.
"Do you know the other mage brother?" He was concerned that maybe they were not on good terms with the other man.
Running his left hand through his black and blue hair he left down for the day and looked back at his younger brother.
"Yeah, that is Rufus, the man we had mentioned yesterday. The one that cosplayer was engaged to. I'm just hoping that it will not cause any issues with him and Lucy seeing each other. I know she won't feel anything for him, it's him I'm more worried about. I'm not sure if he is fully over her or not."
Squaring his shoulders ready to meet his mate's previous promised, he started towards the mages as the spar had ended. All of the men gave Zen a large hug upon seeing him. "It is good to see all you brothers. I also can not wait to meet your friend that is the princess of the stars. She has quite the reputation here."
"Don't worry big brother, you will definitely get to meet her soon. She is with Kaleb and Dean at the moment."
Turning back to the smaller blonde man and extending his right hand to him. After shaking their shared hands Cris used his thumb to point to his brothers beside him. "Hi, I'm Cristoff, Zen and Bickslow's brother. I'm sure you are familiar with both Bickslow and Erik."
Rufus looked from the seith mage and poison slayer and smiled. "That I am. Hello Bickslow. Hello Cobra. What brings you to the Academia Celeste, other than maybe your brother Zen."
"We're actually here as a traveling party for Cosplayer to meet with the Dean regarding a key. Let me introduce you to my other brothers, Vander and Farron."
Vander grabbed the smaller blonde mage by his chin giving him a kiss of hello like the boscans do, and then Farron did the same. The blush on Rufus' face grew to a dark red and he felt himself shiver. If he wasn't already promised to a celestial mage at the Academia, he'd definitely ask the man named Vander to share pleasure.
"Oh, that is wonderful that the Dean has someone such as Lucy to help him with the dilemma of the unknown key. He has tried so many avenues to figure it out and the key just lays lifeless. He'd assume it was just a regular key if he didn't feel the magic coming from it."
"Yeah, you know Tink. If it comes to a spirit she will make sure to figure it out no matter what. How have you been doing? It's been a while since we've seen you at the guild."
"My promised is a teacher here and I didn't want him to have to leave his position just so we could marry. I'm currently just doing side work at the moment. I was hoping to eventually join the main guild hall for the White Sea in Pelerno, but that will require permission from the guild master Kaleb Pradesh."
With a large smile on his face and tongue wagging, Bickslow threw his arm over Rufus' shoulder and pulled him close.
"Well, you are in luck then my friend. Our older brother is here with us. He has taken cosplayer to the Dean's office and will be meeting back up with us shortly. He just so happens to be the very man you are looking to talk to."
"That would be wonderful. Thank you for allowing me to meet him and hopefully be accepted into his guild. If you do not mind me asking, how has Lucy been? I know things were touchy for us once we found out about her mate situation. I'm just hoping she is doing well and being her old bubbly self again."
Cris stepped back forward and smiled at the man. "She has done really well. Actually, she and I just found out that we are mates. We are just waiting to find Aquarius so that we can mate. We are still unsure as to who her other mate is as of yet."
'Everyone please meet at the training grounds in half an hour. The starbringer will be conducting a Q & A and the entire school, students and staff are invited to bring their questions.'
As if she heard her name, Lucy walked onto the training grounds with the Dean and Kaleb in tow. Preparing to head to the trio, the remainder of the group looked back to see Zen's body had gone still and his eyes glowed a golden color. His breathing picked up and he started to walk towards the little blonde of their conversation. A whisper of "wow" could faintly be heard coming from his lips.
"I haven't seen him react this way in months. What the hell could be happening to him?"
"Do you think it's because cosplayer is such a strong celestial mage that the reactions are still there?"
"Nah man, his soul is screaming to get close to her. Well, fuck, now we know who Tink's other mate is. Cris, you need to put him in an induced sleep. They can not touch each other right now!"
As requested Cris put his hand on his older brother's shoulder and watched as he went limp. The two slayers took him over their shoulders and to the nearby bench about ten feet away..
Zen had been talking to his brothers after his spar with Rufus when he felt his very existence be drawn towards a beautiful angel with long blonde hair, curvy body and blinding smile. He allowed his eyes to roam over her arms seeing her celestial spirit markings and then her legs with her slayer kin markings. Then he saw it, her eyes began to glow and a hushed whisper of "wow" left his lips.
His mother's keys sit in a glass case near the left entrance of the training grounds, waiting for their chosen mage, the mage that has been given archangel magic and becoming of the heavens. As an archangel mage, the spirits would bring him to the realm to work with him. Help him learn about his magic and train him.
From his studies with the spirits, he understood that he would have a mate. A mage of the stars. 'Is this beautiful woman her? Is this my mate?' He felt relieved that his mate was a woman. After all the raping by men in the pits, he had no desire to share his life with another man.
At first he was upset that he would be tied down again after just escaping the gladiator pits in Pergrande. After he came around and accepted that maybe having a mate would be something he could want in life, he became excited at the idea of telling his brother Cris. Cris was also destined for a mate and was enamored with the idea of finding them.
He did also understand that he would be destined to share her with her other mate. At first it bothered him thinking that it wasn't fair that he would have to share the one person who was made for him. That was until the spirits explained in further detail why she would need more than one mate.
He hadn't told any of his family yet what type of mage he was or what he was destined for. He felt overwhelmed with all of the information and would like to talk to his family about it in person, versus over the lacrama phone or mind link.
Seeing the woman in front of him, any reservations he had about being mated faded away and he felt his desire to be close to her overtake his body. His eyes lit gold in answering her siren call. He felt his magic vibrate within him. That was until his body started to fall and his world turned black.
Kaleb led Lucy towards the Dean's office. Walking through the halls Lucy couldn't help but to look at everything she could see. Pictures of students and staff, both past and present. Kaleb watched her with great interest.
He would admit he was quite jealous of his brother's luck. Lucy hadn't reacted once to any touch so definitely not one of her mates. She was so bright, hopefully, trusting, well organized, and always planning. She would allow him any of the wayward thoughts but anything related to the celestial realm was locked down by the little mage. Since he knew she would figure out if he tried to dig, he decided just to listen to the melody that is her mind. He could see why Erik loved being near her. Even though to others her mind may seem like chaos, it was more like a beautiful orchestra, each thought was a different set of instruments.
As they were walking down the last hallway to the office, Kaleb noticed the Dean standing just outside of the door and waved over to him.
"Dean Kalperden!"
An aging older man, roughly four and a half feet tall, with a balding head, large blue eyes and velvet blue and gold robe turned his head and noticed the duo as a smile grew from ear to ear across his face. Lucy had brought fond memories of when her mother Layla attended the school. She truly looked like her mother. From her golden blonde hair, her heart shaped face, and mocha doe eyes, he could easily mistake the two.
"It is quite the honor to meet the Star Bringer and to have her come to our school to help with a key. Thank you for traveling so far and aiding us in identifying the key. I did not want to take my concern outside of the school as I am not sure which spirit lays within and would hate to see the wrong person obtain its spirit."
" As I have stated before, I can not guarantee I will know what to do, but I promise you that I will not leave until I can figure this out."
The dean truly felt blessed by the stars that she was able to come and assist them. An idea popped into his head. Kaleb hearing the man's idea nodded at him with a smile.
"Miss Lucy, would you be willing to do a Q & A for our students and staff? Many of them look up to you and your relationships with your spirits. I am sure that they would benefit from getting to ask you their questions themselves."
Elation took over Lucy. To think she could help other mages build stronger relationships with their spirits had her heart was part of her mission as the celestial princess. Help mages on earthland learn more love and appreciation for all spirits.
"I would love to! Where could we hold it and when? I know that the school will need to be notified."
"Kaleb has already let the entire school know in a mind link, so I think the training grounds would be perfect. It's a large field with stadium seating around the field. Let's get to the training grounds so we can beat the crowd."
They followed the halls back to the left entrance of the training ground. Lucy's eyes however couldn't leave the glass case and took a detour to examine it. Inside sat five white porcelain keys. These were the archangels keys that Garnier held before she passed. She couldn't help but want to lift the keys but forced herself to move away from them. 'I have other pressing matters, I will come back to them later.'
The trio passed through the doors to walk into the training ground when Lucy noticed a man about the same body size as Cristoff. His mahogany hair was braided down and laid along his left shoulder. Along his right side was an eagle tattoo that she could enjoy as he was currently shirtless and his muscles shining under the sheer layer of sweat across his chest. To say he was pure muscle was an understatement. When he looked at her with his amethyst eyes she felt her magic come to the surface and her eyes began to glow a golden color. She was lost in a haze until she felt it lift and the mahogany haired man asleep on a bench nearby.
Shaking the remainder of the haze from her mind, she clears her throat to get all of the men's attention.
"Ok, ten more minutes before we start so I am going to step away for a few minutes to collect myself."
The Pradesh men and Dean nodded and a chorus of "of course" "take the time you need" were heard as she walked out.
As she walked through the doors back to the hallway, she held her hand to her chest. She was so confused about what happened. Before she could think further into it, she then heard another person come through the door and turned to see Rufus Lore.
Lucy was truly happy to see the memory make mage again. He is still a friend in her heart and he seems so happy.
"Oh Mavis, What are you doing here at the Academia? It is so good to see you."
"It's very good to see you are doing well Lucy. I'm here to visit with my promised while he is teaching his classes."
"Wait, you're promised?! Congratulations to you and your partner. I am so happy for you both!" She gladly gave him a large hug in celebration.
"Thank you Lucy, and I am happy to see you have started to find your mates. Cristoff seems like a very wonderful man."
A deep blush took over her face as she thought about the man she was falling so hard for.
"Thanks. I hope that you'll stay for the Q & A. I'd love to meet your promised."
"He will definitely want to meet the Star Bringer. Becareful though, he may have too many questions for you."
A laugh erupted from both the blonde mages. Moments later hotolgium's mark on her arm had warmed, letting Lucy know she needed to head back into the training grounds.
"Let's head back in, I'm supposed to get on stage now."
Rufus followed Lucy. He wouldn't lie. He missed moments like this with Lucy because conversation with her felt so natural. He loves his partner and is excited for their adventure in life together. He will be happy for the little blonde and continue moving forward. 'At Least we can still be friends.'
The group of Pradesh men made their way up to the box seats made for the Dean and his guests and sat when Zen had started to wake and looked around for the blonde he had seen earlier.
"Where is the blonde that walked in earlier? I need to talk to her."
Cris looked at his older brother with concern. He hadn't seen his brother react to a celestial mage in quite a while and needed to confirm what Erik had stated earlier.
"You mean the little blonde woman? What do you need to discuss with her?"
Zen quickly turned his attention to his younger brother Cris as he lit up.
"Cris, it's just like you said when you find your mate. I could feel the pull, and it was enveloping me with love. I found her Cris, I found my mate!"
With his suspicions confirmed, he nodded back to his brother.
"Well, I met my mate too. Though, I am now realizing both of our mates are the same woman."
They then heard the lacrama mic be lifted and watched as Lucy looked through the seats.
