Magic Resistance C
Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of greater magecraft and Greater Rituals. A Skill gained as a result of being summoned as a Saber. He has no notable anecdotes about resisting Magecraft during his lifetime, so this skill being at C-rank is purely the result of being summoned into a Saber class summoning vessel, despite otherwise having no special resistance to Magecraft.
Riding C-
In life, Emiya Shirou rode the ordinary vehicles of his era. He has experience driving a car and some experience riding a motorcycle. Because of the time he spent repairing vehicles, he has a better understanding of modern vehicles than other Heroic Spirits and people of his time. He does not have any experience mounting or riding traditional steeds, however (hence, the "-" rating). As a result, he receives a rather low rank of this Skill, relative for the Saber class.
Personal Skills:
Independent Action E (A+, EX?)
Normally, only a Class skill available to Archers. However, because the World recognizes Saber as an existence very similar to Emiya Shirou (to a far greater extent than Archer), the corrective influence of the World are slightly lessened, and Saber is capable of maintaining his existence without magical support from his master for a short while.
Ironically, the Rank of the skill can only rise to A+ (EX?) when a magical pathway between Saber and Emiya Shirou (master) exists, as the world becomes unable to recognize any difference between Emiya Shirou (Master) and Emiya Shirou (Saber). As a result, the World no longer applies a corrective influence to Saber. Thus, the upkeep of magical energy needed to sustain Saber's continued existence in the world becomes practically non-existent. Magical energy is still used up in fights and when using skills and noble phantasms, of course. But magical energy is no longer needed to passively sustain Saber's existence in the world.
At A+ Rank, it is possible to take action without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of extreme magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. Though normally only possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a few weeks without a Master at A+ rank, because of the special circumstances of his summoning and his master, once physically materialized, Saber is capable of staying physically manifested indefinitely without a supply of magical energy, as long as he has a magical pathway to Emiya Shirou (Master).
Charisma D-
Though normally only a talent, Saber has a gained this skill through wisdom gained from Artoria and through developing an understanding of what makes others follow her into battle. As a result, he can lead small forces of units properly, under the right circumstances.
Mind's Eye (True) B
Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. A danger-avoidance ability that calmly grasps of the enemy's strength as well as his own situation during predicament and deduces the available means of survival on that situation.
As long as there is even a 1% chance of comeback, it draws in the chance to put said strategy into motion. Although closely similar to the Skill "Instinct", this is not a result of talent, but an overwhelming amount of combat experience. A weapon wielded by none other than a mortal, gained through tenacious training.
Magecraft D to A++
A magic that reproduces tools by his image, though only for several minutes. Its rank rapidly increases only when the projection subject is categorized as a "sword". Due this special trait of "can prepare counterfeits many times over", Emiya Shirou can destroy the projected Noble Phantasms, if he wishes to (except Excalibur and defensive tools). By having the swords explode, the destructive power is momentarily raised beyond its normal limit.
Capable of using orthodox Thaumaturgy, such as Reinforcement to temporarily increase the essence of the tool and Projection to grasp the structure of the substance and temporarily replicate it. During his life time, the sorceries learned by Emiya Shirou are unremarkable. Before becoming a Heroic Spirit, even Reinforcement was quite difficult. However, the Projection sorcery he wields is quite special, as it is able to duplicate weapons, including all the components, though with minor degradations in quality. In addition, during duplication, he can even read the wielder's skills, which allows him to gain all kinds of Noble Phantasms and combat skills.
When the target of projection falls under the category of "shield" or "barrier", does the Rank rapidly jumps up to B.
When the target of projection falls under the category of "sword", does the Rank rapidly jumps up to A.
When the target of projection falls under the category of "holy sword of Celtic (Irish, Welsh, Scottish) or English origin", does the Rank rapidly jumps up to A+.
When the target of projection falls under the category of "Excalibur", does the Rank rapidly jumps up to A++.
Because of the shift in Saber's Origin and Element, this skill, which was originally ranked as C-, now only qualifies for a D rank. The "+" does not signify a doubling in ability, but rather a great increase in mana efficiency, after having established a magical pathway between himself and his master, Emiya Shirou.

Noble Phantasms:
Avalon's Blessing C- (C+)
(Type: Recovery)
An ability gained as a result of physically having Avalon within him, and being recognized as an owner of Avalon. Because Avalon's healing abilities only activates at full potential with Artoria's magical energy, he cannot heal wounds with the same quickness or to the same degree that Artoria can, hence the "C" ranking. However, minor wounds can be healed relatively easily and quickly. Wounds to major organs can be healed with enough time (within the timespan of roughly a few hours), however, damage to the heart, brain, and spiritual core cannot be healed at only "C" rank.
The "-" indicates a decrease in magical energy usage efficiency and healing speed because of having to also use his own magical energy to sustain his existence in the world as a Servant, without a magical pathway to his Master serving as a way to anchor Saber's existence to the world. Because he is unable to reliably supply Avalon with his magical energy while also sustaining his existence, the usage efficiency and healing speed of Avalon is decreased below its normal function (at "C" rank).
The "+" does not indicate an increase in healing potential, but merely an increase in magical energy usage efficiency and healing speed once a magical pathway link has been established between Saber and his Master. Because he no longer needs to divert his energy into sustaining his existence, the rank has risen to "C". However, because of the co-existence of two real Avalons simultaneously and the link between Master and Servant, there is a resonance effect additionally increasing the healing speed and decreasing the amount of required magical energy needed for healing, hence a "C+" rank.
Normally, Emiya Shirou (Master)'s magical energy would not induce the healing effect of Avalon, because, strictly speaking, Emiya Shirou (Master) and Emiya Shirou (Saber) are not technically the same existence, despite sharing the same origin point. Thus, he would not normally be recognized as an owner of Avalon, as Saber (Emiya Shirou) is. However, because of the resonance effect, the healing effect also extends to the master.

When Avalon is summoned to be used purely as a defensive barrier, Avalon qualifies as a rank EX barrier.
Excalibur A (A+) (EX)
(Type: Anti-Fortress (Anti-World), (Anti-Beast))
Saber lacks the internal magical energy (Od) to use Excalibur to its full potential. Compared to Artoria's Dragon Reactor Core, Saber only has the magical energy generated by his 27 Magical Circuits (high quality) to use to fuel Excalibur. Hence the "A" rating when wielded "Saber" (Emiya Shirou).
With training from Artoria, and by using a work-around trick developed and applied by Merlin, Saber can use magical energy from the surroundings (Mana) to compensate for his own lack of Od to fuel Excalibur.
However, even this degree of magical energy is not enough to utilize Excalibur to the same degree as Artoria would normally be able to. Hence, its A+ rank, compared to Artoria's A++ rank. Under certain ideal circumstances, however, his power might even be able to match (or even exceed) Artoria's...?
The 13 Restrictions of the Round Table (placed by King Arthur's knights) restrict the true power of Excalibur (EX), unless it is needed to fight off against an Enemy of Humanity.
Avalon Blade Works: Infinite Creation of Excalibur (Everdistant Utopia of Promised Victory) F~EX
(Type: Anti-Unit (Anti-World))
The Reality Marble that embodies and manifests Saber's internal world and imprints it upon the World as a bounded field for a short amount of time.
A Noble Phantasm that summons forth Saber's image of Avalon (The Everdistant Utopia) and draws forth a link to the real Avalon, it is a fairy paradise which contains a countless number of Excaliburs.
A fae utopia which contains all of the raw materials and sorcery needed for the formation of Excalibur and countless other famous weapons and defensive armaments, especially those of Celtic and English origin. It records and analyzes all weapons and defensive armaments which are encountered by the user.
Because Saber's Origin and Element are no longer "Sword", he is no longer capable of using "Unlimited Blade Works". Instead, his Reality Marble (inner world) has mutated into "Avalon Blade Works". However, despite this mutation, Celtic and English weapons, as well as defensive armaments, are reproducible with a one rank diminishment in quality. All other non-Celtic and non-English weapons are reproduced with a two rank diminishment in quality.
The quality of projected weapons will always be degraded by one or two rank due to humans being unable to fully conceptualize the existence of an object through only one sense, and they will never equal the originals without a technique such as detonating them as Broken Phantasms.
Excalibur and Avalon (sheath) are the only exceptions to this rule, due to Saber's unique nature, and they can be reproduced perfectly, with no degradation in quality.
Within Saber's Reality Marble, because of the nature and extremely high mana density of "Avalon Blade Works", Excalibur does not to draw from Saber's own Od supply in order to unleash its full poser, instead drawing upon the ambient mana of the surroundings.
As a result, Saber is capable of reproducing and firing off Excaliburs at will.
It is the one true specialization of magecraft, the result of "Excalibur" being both Saber's Origin and Elemental Affinity and the basis of Saber's projection and reinforcement skills. It is the definite answer obtained by someone whose life was saved by Avalon, merged and lived with Avalon, and acted as Avalon for his whole life.
Saber's personality:
Saber's personality is similar to that of his master's, Emiya Shirou. However, as a result of many more centuries of experience and training (as well as several scoldings by Tohsaka Rin), Saber is a more mature and wizened individual compared to his younger self.
As a result of his many decades spent training with Artoria, he is much more confident (arrogant) and self-assured (cocky) than his younger self, in some ways resembling another certain Nameless Archer in Red, but his personality, for the most part, is much closer to Emiya Shirou (Master). He's still a very kindhearted and at at times, foolish, person at heart. ("A loveable idiot", as Artoria would say.)
While he still holds Kiritsugu's ideals in high regards, and respects them as "beautiful" ideals, he now realizes the futility and the impossibility of trying to stay true to them exactly. Even so though, he'll try to save as many people as he can, though he won't regret being unable to save those he wasn't able to save.
