AN: I know it's been a while since I publish, yet I'm gonna do my best to get as much as I can for this story before I go to my next one. I thought of making a reference to pop culture, thought it would be like a parody like how the show did. Anyway, This chapter is considered part one of Marcy's departure, while I'm working on part two which is part 2.

So, here is my part 1 chapter.

Chapter 3: Marcy's departure, part 1: The Talk

A Month after their return. Anne's room

Few weeks have passed since Marcy and Anne became a couple and their return home.

The good thing is that Mr. Wu managed to head to his new job in Connecticut, giving his wife and Marcy a few weeks to spend their last time in LA. Marcy had a great time with her friends, especially Anne as they get to do things together for once, like Sasha and Anne were having fun with Marcy's game for the first time, which made Marcy feel happy. They then see a new film together, Changerbots 4: Era of hunt. Even when Marcy and Anne went to Disneyland for a day together. They even go around Los Angele, such as meeting celebrities, like the voice artist Brank Walker, comedian Well Parnett, and action-actor Ben Wiesel.

It was fun while it lasted as today is the day: Marcy's time had come to move out.

As the Boonchuys are getting ready to send the Wus back to the airport, Marcy walks up to Anne who was already getting dressed. She was knocking on the door. Anne answered.

"Who is it?" Anne asked.

"It's me, babe." Marcy replied. Anne then approached her door, and opened it. Marcy wore her casual clothes like a tomboy for females, and yet looked nervous as a start as today was her last day here before leaving the L.A. county forever.

"Well," Marcy said, "I guess today is the day where…(she took a deep breath)...I move out, huh? Which means that we won't be together physically."

She got her bag and luggage ready for her trip. Anne looks at her, knowing Marcy will be far away from her. Yet, Anne approached Marcy and gave her a hug.

"I know change is happening," Anne said, "but hey, we'll text and call each other even when we're far apart."

"I just can't believe all this is happening," Marcy said as they both sat down on Anne's bed, "However, I feel that Core was right; it would be misery within the world for me to live through. Don't you usually feel misery?"

"Well," Anne replied, "I would be mersiable if you were gone as well, nobody to talk to, except Sasha of course, but someone I can instantly enjoy listening to, like you." Marcy blushed.

"Well, maybe it just…," Marcy said, "...I'm somewhat feeling a mixture to-"

"Hey, it's okay," Anne interrupted and said, "it can be a huge difference in life. Yet, it doesn't have to be this way. Trust me, I was nervous at first of making new friends, the day I met you. I just didn't know if you were going to be my friend until we spent the day forming a bond when we built your castle, remember?."

Marcy felt shocked as she recalled their memories. Yet, she begins to feel happy, hearing Anne's statement of change nodding her head.

"So," Anne continued, "If I embrace the change, so can you. You just need some push like gravity." Marcy then placed her hand on top of Anne's hand as she understood what Anne meant.

"You know," Marcy said, "Maybe you're right. I guess I was nervous about the world until you gave me hope." They then heard Mrs. Boonchuy, coming from outside of Anne's window.

"Anne, Marcy," Mrs. Boonchuy said, "come on, we're about to leave for the airport!" Macry then gets up and grabs her stuff, only to be tripped over again, with Anne getting her back up. Anne carried Marcy's stuff. Marcy followed.

As they got outside, Anne loaded Marcy's stuff in the back of their car, along with the Wu's packages. Mrs. Boonchuys then get on the front row of their car, for Mrs. Boonchuy to drive and Mrs. Wu in the passage seat, while leaving the middle row to Anne and Marcy. They then started their car and headed out of their neighborhood to get to the airport. As they were getting on the freeway, Marcy and Anne talked to each other.

"Hey, Anne?" Marcy said.

"Yes, Mar-Mar?" Anne said.

"Do you think Sasha will be there?" Marcy asked.

"I'm sure she'll be there," Anne replied, "she may be coming in late. Don't worry she'll meet us there. Oh I almost forgot." Anne pulled out something out of her jacket's pocket and pulled out a necklace of her favorite movie, War of the warlocks, with its symbol. Marcy was surprised to see it.

"I figured since you love the film," Anne said, "I just thought I wanna get you this as a gift. I got it during Christmas because I know you love this film so much. So I hope you like it."

"You knew my favorite movie, aww," Marcy said as Anne put the necklace around Marcy's neck perfectly, "Thanks, Anne-banana. I love it." She hugged Anne on the side, with Anne side-hugged her back.

"You're welcome Marcy," Anne said, "It's the least I can do because I feel bad for all those years of-." "It's okay, Anne," Marcy interrupting said, "it's all forgiven, Anne. And thanks, for the talk back in the room." She then kissed Anne on the cheeks. Anne blushed and happily held Marcy's hands. Marcy then leaned her toward Anne's shoulder.

Unaware of them, Mrs. Boonchuy and Wu saw them in the view mirror, admiring both of their daughter's romance.

AN: I want to added some Marcanne moment for this chapter as they talk about their future and changes. The quote that Anne said kind of spoke to me and I was thinking maybe this serve as a little origin of where Anne learned the concept of change, from her own words of course, but also to impact on Marcy. It was sweet for a moment, so i added this.

Until the next chapter.
