Hello to all and forgive me for the late late update!! Work has been very very rough on me and alas some troubles at home! But here it is please please enjoy!! And review yes review please please!!!!

Kagome pov:

Kagome looked around as Toshiyuki lead her through their village. Everything was so bright and colorful!! Much different from the village she had lived in where the trees were just barely alive and sprouting leaves.

She didn't see tired run down women and children working in fields that were hardly growing. What she saw was children laughing and chasing each other. When she looked closer they had fox tails!!!

She looked around and everyone she saw had tails!! And pointy ears!! The women where smiling and talking as they picked the fruit of the trees and once in a while throwing a playful punch at one another when one says something silly.

The men were gathered around either fixing the huts, or catching fish.

she was so distracted that she didn't know Toshiyuki had stopped until she bumped into him.

"ooof! I'm sorry! So so sorry!!" She says frantically. But the man only smiles and pats her head. " it is alright little one it is quite a site."

she nods smiling brightly " it is so bright here. Everyone is so so happy." Toshiyuki looks at her in confusion " is this not similar to the home you are from?" Kagome shakes her head " no it is not as happy as here is. The women and children work hard in the fields. And the men themselves work hard hunting and fishing. Very rare so I ever see other kids running and playing.."

Toshiyuki thinks for a moment as he takes it in before lifting her up and on his shoulders causing her to cry out at the unexpected gesture.

" well here it is different! We don't work our women and children to the bone. Rather be laid back and easy going. After all we all only have one life to life. Now let's go introduce you to your new family!!"

He strolled through the village with Kagome on his shoulder. Everyone pausing from their duties to watch him as he passes. He stops in the middle of it all and waits for everyone to gather around. And there are quite a a lot of people. Her eyes flickered between each and everyone of them as they whispered among themselves. Everyone of them had the same features. Red hair, pointed ears, and fluffy tails.

A boy who had been playing with the other kids stepped forward and pointed at her with his clawed finger. "Who's that?!"

Toshiyuki grins and sets her onto her feet. " This is Kagome, Kei. She is our new pack mate and shall be treated with respect. Understood?"

" HAI CHEIF TOSHIYUKI!"

Everyone bowed as they said the words. But among them she watched as a beautiful woman approached her and Toshiyuki. Unlike the other fox demons whom had reddish orange hair hers was streaked with white.

Toshiyuki smiles and goes to embrace her. " My darling Harumi! How I have missed you my flower, my morning breeze my— OUCH!!!"

Kagome watched as the woman she now knows as Harumi hits Toshiyuki on his head causing him to clutch it. " My love why do you harm me so? "

The lady shakes her head and crosses her arms. " you have been gone all day leaving Daisuke to do all the scrolls that have been needed to be tended to by himself when the Lord and chief himself should have been here doing his duty!! Instead you sneak off pass the guards and then come back with a human female child!!! I know you have wanted a daughter but to go as low as to take one is new indeed for you!" She huffed as she turned away with her nose in the air.

Toshiyuki laughs nervously as he tries to calm down what kagome assumes is his wife... maybe? She has never known a woman to hit a man...

" my love I was only walking the territory to ensure there was no threats about. As for the child I had found the poor, sickly, little one in the forest attempting to fish when a snake demon had went to each her alive. Myself being the protector I am saved her and then offered her a home"

The woman looks at him and narrows her eyes. "Does she not have a home of her own?" She asks looking at kagome.

She shakes her head " they.. do not want me there... and he offered me a new home.. so so I am here now.."

she watched as the woman's eyes became less sharp and hard. They became sweet and kind. A pretty pool of the greenest green she had ever seen. She bent down to a crouch infront of her. " well dear there is always a place for you here. Such a shame they did not want you there but now you are here. My name is Harumi I am the wife of Toshiyuki who as you must have gathered is the chief of this village and the lord of the fox demons."

Kagome smiles " my name is Kagome! Thank you for having me." She says and politely bows.

Harumi stands up and offers her hand to Kagome who of which takes it before she looks back at her husband. " You go back and finish your work! Let the Inu no Taisho find out you are slacking once again!! You know what happened last time."

Toshiyuki sighs and nods " you are right my spring flower.. I do not want to face the anger of Toga it was not fun in the least... chained me up in my own home to my own desk and forced me to finish the whole years worth of work... oh why why."

Harumi shakes her head at her childish husband " He had sent you many warnings before hand but you decided on that your own self darling now back with you or I will send a messenger myself to let him know you are slacking."

With that threat alone Kagome saw that day how fast demons can be. He left nothing not even dust behind.

Harumi laughed and smiled " come dear let's get you fixed up."

Well there you have it so far! We got to see Toshiyuki lovely wife! A little bit of his pack and got to find out how lazy he can be when it comes to paperwork! And not to mention Toga tends to come down to have to handle him lol.
