Back at Hogwarts
The day after the event with the blue mist and Nightmare Moon was full again of questions on what happened, till the next day the small bags left at the statue were no more however no one was concerned or complained since all were left over treats that remained, however some started to put questions regarding what could have happened and asked Zecora if it was the doing of Nightmare Moon but she confirmed that it was the doing of someone else. The school however knew what happened to the four friends but they said that it wasn't something to worry about because the one that took the bags was actually putting them on some sort of test of courage. As for Draco right from the next day she told the Trio to not include him in what happened. After Monday however the situation started to be of no concerned since all now had other things in their minds and that was the Potions Class.
The rest of the week was again a normal routine for everyone in the school, the classes with the new teacher became now some of the most pleasant in the school. Even thou Zecora was talking in rhyme it wasn't something bothering. The teachers also started to like her, in most cases she wasn't like Mr. Lockheart before he lost his memory on the other hand she come very close to some students as well as teachers like professor Sprout or McGonagall. Beyond that whenever she could she would go in the Potions class to extend her knowledge on healing potions. Professor Snape was usually reluctant when it came to the zebra however he accepted her for the fact that she didn't got to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts while she was giving him books on local potions and local dark creatures as for Professor Flang he was more distant from her but seemed to have a degree of respect however he didn't liked her to intervene in his teaching.
As for the golden Trio, Twilight and the others things go on as usual, but although they were trying to go on with their normal things they were sometimes thinking of what happened last week to them, the thing with the changeling fiasco was a thing that was surpassed by the event on Halloween with the visit of some native disguised as Nightmare Moon was something that was still puzzling especially for the boy who for just a moment the native talked to him and sometimes he was thinking if Zecora will tell them if the entity was one she might knew.
"I really wish to know what the reason was for us been visited during Halloween." He said to Ron while in the Common Room.
"You are not the only one Harry, more would want to know."
"We have to ask Professor Zecora when we have the chance she told that the one that came wasn't the Nightmare but someone else."
"Right now I would be surprised if the one that visited wanted only to make a prank of some sorts. But I wouldn't be surprised if the reason was to scare us or something like this."
"Anyways she probably would tell us during one of the hours either today or tomorrow."
"She will not tell us today unfortunately." Said Hermione coming to the boys. "She has to catch up the hour that we had lost because of the attack."
"Hmm, by the way I wonder how Thorax is doing he probably started his tour." Said Twilight.
"Oh yeah the Dailey Prophet just reported he and his brother had just arrived in the Romanian space after that they will go the Serbian, Bulgarian, German, French, British and Russian spaces and will make visits to muggles institutions but also meet the magical ministers in private, that will be a small routine during the tour through the galaxy. And it seems they will not be the only ones." Said Ron pulling out the newspaper having both Thorax and Pharynx on their front page alongside Ember, Prince Rutherford with another yak, alongside Gruff, Gilda and other two Griffons not to mention Admiral Seaspray and Silverstream's parents Sky Beak and Ocean Flow, the newspaper also mentions that it surely will be a real Grand Embassy.
"So all the important people will go?" Asked Twilight.
"Yeah but they will go separately however right now The Lord of Dragons prepares for the journey followed by the yaks then the Hippogriffs and then the Griffons. They will however join together when they reach the High Chancellery." Said Harry looking threw the paper.
"Maybe even sooner, however I guess that after this trip they will have a lot of things to do when they return."
"In any case this shall be a good move to gain their loyalty or at least to ensure that they will not join the ones that cause us trouble." Commented Ginny.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Twilight.
"Twilight when a sovereign makes such a tour it is for political purposes, the magical ministries want the colonies to be left alone and ensure they will not join the ones that attack us while they will need support for what they will have to do when they return. In any case this will show galactic cooperation between nations and the magical beans. Let's hope that between the ones that have problems with us will take their example to approach the situation differently." Explained Hermione.
"They surely are and they surely will." She said looking in the paper thinking and hoping that her friends, brother and sister-in-low have also found some way to befriend them as well.
"I wonder if my friends managed the situation without me." Said Twilight hoping that they had found some way.
Ponyville
Five days had passed since the Mane 6, Spike, Shining Armour, Cadence and Starlight went to Hogwarts in the Nightmare Night and during that time they had tried to work out something to stop the attacks, they had managed to tell to as many ponies in knowing what was the situation with the colonists, Mayor Mare declare full banning of things that could encourage phobia or to attack them, also clubs and groups centred on that were also banned. Thanks to what Twilight's explanations to her friends whom they transmitted to the town they no more listen to the speculations and made up stories even thou they were put in the newspaper and some posters whom all the residence now ignore or even ripe them out.
Inside the Castle of Friendship
"Well, there are the usual made up stories, rumour and speculations about them but good thing to know, the changeling incident was cleaned up they were told about 'somepony' who used a cursed object. Thorax also confirmed it but without mentioning the death eater." Said Spike while looking at the newspaper.
"Still shouldn't we have told them about the fact that a clone of Chrysalis was to blame and the fact that the wizards caught her and arrested her when she attacked Hogwarts?" Asked Fluttershy.
"Naw tha Charlatans might again try to speculate about this and probably would try to make it was really Chrysalis that was 'liberated' by the wizards and probably hide the real one somehow. Plus we can't risk the plan be ruined." Said Applejack.
"Applejack is right plus Cadence and Shining Armour are still trying to find a pony that is able to convince the princesses to accept the visit of several Hogwarts students. And we can't risk Mislead or Snake Tongue do something to make them refuse on the argument of who knows what the students did or whatever they would say." Said Rainbow Dash.
"Or to distort the information on the evil wizards and generalise everything." Commented Trixie.
"Ma opinion let them lock the clone up wherever they want they will surely cath that death eater sooner or later." Applejack said.
"On the other hoof I believe some of us should go to Canterlot this weekend to meet up with Cadence to find some pony that could help." Said Rarity.
"Ohh, maybe we should also try to speak with our other non pony friends like Thorax, Rutherford, Ember and Gilda to convince the Princesses to accept. What do you suggest?" Said Pinkie turning to the young six.
"Well that could work however I got a message that King Thorax and Prince Pharynx are absent at the present moment and they will not be in the kingdom for a time." Said Ocellus.
"And unfortunately the others also have other businesses to attend to, even Prince Rutherford." Said Yona.
"Well that leaves us to do something." Said Spike.
"But hey if you could we can come to try to convince the princesses, we know something about them." Said Smolder making everyone to turn to her.
"You do?" Asked Sandbar.
"Well I know some things about them, like Twilight said, they rather prefer to keep between themselves however some Dragons do business with them and they also visit us." Said Smolder.
"Well Twilight told us that Dragons, Hippogriffs, Griffons and Yaks had knowledge of them. But why haven't any of you told us till now?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"They don't want too much attention so we kept their secret." Said Yona.
"They don't want to have tha attention of none-wizards; they didn't mean us or others from here." Said Applejack.
"Oh many things they don't want actually. Just for you to know they might have stayed forever under the camouflage spell." Commented Gallus.
"All of you know of them because you met some groups." Said Starlight.
"And in a way this could be exactly what we need. On one hand we have the School of Friendship where non ponies are the students." Said Spike.
"And the ones we want to bring to Canterlot and Ponyville are the students and teachers at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It's the perfect argument." Said Rarity.
"Yay problem solved." Said Pinkie.
"We now only need to make the princess accept and yet it might have been good if Thorax, Ember and the others would have been present." Said Spike.
"I really wonda what they are doing and what business they might have to be so busy?" Said Applejack.
Bucharest Royal Palace.
The first day started with a welcoming banquet that had been organised for the king of the Changelings and his entourage in the capital of Romania, everything was meticulously prepared for the event, the plates, the foods and the napkins were done in a great order of things as for the honorary guests from king to the lowest changeling had been spellbound by what they had saw after getting off the ship. The sight of great buildings in the capital that rose high up almost as the mountains was a real site to watch not to mention the different ships coming and going and the many people they saw while moving to the palace. Once there they had a great reception from the king, queen and their heirs and the rest of the royal family from the queen mother to the king's other siblings not to mention ministers, high cultural figures and different ambassadors including the none human ones. Whom some of the changelings had tried their best not to be too freaked out or go crazy.
The King of Romania was at one end of the table while Thorax his brother and other changelings were on his left while the queen and the other human and other alien dignitaries were on the right side of the table. Thorax was thought by the governors how to behave at the table and what they should do. The slow classical music was right now on the play.
"What do you think of the banquet Your Majesty?" Asked the King.
"We are very happy to be met by such hospitality Your Majesty I can't wait to see more."
"Today it is only for greetings from tomorrow on it will be the visits and probably practice."
"Wonderful my brother really wishes to see the army during exercise and the military academy. And I can't wait to visit the universities and the institutions here."
"You will have a lot of things to see it is however too bad that the time isn't too great for everything that you want, the tour is only for 60 days." Said Michael.
"We will then skip many of the formalities in the galactic nations and empires we will visit in this tour even with that we are grateful for the invitations we had been given Your Majesty." Said Pharynx said smiling before hearing the pop of the Champaign or Wine bottles and the servants starting to pour in the cups with long legs on the plates before moving around to give it to the guests, King Michael the V th was the first one to rise and make a toast.
"For future friendship, understanding, peace and cooperation between the natives on Equis and Romania." He took a small slip "And to the other Human and Alien Nations and Empires of the United Galactic Nations, both neutral ones and those who have colonies on the world of Equis." He said.
"To future friendship and understanding." Said all the guests in unison rising up and giving toasts before taking a slip, a bit later everyone started to rise from the tables and go on their business. Pharynx was walking around the halls of the palace admiring the different pictures while levitating his glass of Champaign, he saw portraits of the kings of the past as well as many important figures in history not to mention legendary ancestors who withstood threats from great outside empires that threatened the nation and the people alongside the battles that were fought.
"An impressive site, Your Highness." Said a man in full military uniform with epaulets and three medals on his chest and one he wore to the neck, Pharynx learned the fact that his rank was the most superior one in the army.
"Indeed Marshal one thing I can see so far, humans usually want peace however there are some with more ambition that could drive a nation into war or they simply have a lust for wealth, power or glory." He said
"Indeed, too bad that we don't know the reason what is happening on Equis with the attacks." He said taking a slip from his red wine. "From what we know the colonists only want to be let in their business. Deviated people that have other ideas are of course a problem."
"Not all the colonists are bad or want to do evil deeds. However I heard of a group that is near the sovereigns in one of our neighbouring nations called Equestria. They probably heard of the bad ones and generalised things. " He said taking a small slip from the Champaign and going out to a balcony to watch in the distance. "It isn't unusual actually, during the old reign of Chrysalis all Changelings were characterised as evil due to our bad ways of attacking everyone that we had to abandon eventually."
"A good thing I could say and now with this tour what will be your actions now?" Pharynx looked to the city and the activity that was going on beyond the gardens he gave in a long thought, for him Changelings still have to be on guard however looking outside observing the view he thought that in order to do it now they need more then what the colonists could give.
"I shall consult with my brother; in any case all of us know what it should be done."
"Your Highness I am very impressed by the fact that you see the political things as there are on galactic scale. Your brother seems more with the innocent thought." Commented the Marshal.
"I do admit that my brother is more with innocence however when we start the real tour skipping the formalities he shall see the situation as it is, on the other hand I don't believe there is any other choice regarding this." He said before a guard of the palace came and told him to the year of the Marshal.
"What is it?"
"We must go back to the Grand Hall. It seems that your brother has an announcement to make." Said the Marshall and all three went back to the grand hall just when the King tracked the attention of everyone present in the room.
"Your attention please our guest of honour has an important announcement." He said and Thorax came in.
"Even thou I haven't started my official visits I had observed how things are at least partially on a galactic nation even with that I wish for the Changelings to learn more of what is really happening on a galactic scale. So I decided that the best possible decision to make shall be wherever I shall go I shall let behind students to learn everything possible from the best to apply it back home in our kingdom. When we return I shall begin first on a small scale with the help of the colonists the process of bringing the Changelings to a respectable statues in the galaxy and when the students come back we shall start on a greater scale." He declared and everyone in the room started to applaud and congratulate him for his decision.
"I do appreciate this decision, Your Majesty. We peacocks always appreciate decision that involved culture and learning." Said the peacock imperial ambassador coming near him.
"I thank you Your Excellency." Said the changeling king.
"You had made a wise decision and I appreciate this. Everyone now will look forward to the progress." Said King Michael.
"I thank you Your Majesty and don't need to think about resources, some sly birds told me before we left that in our territory we have the resources that will be needed. Plus someone on our ship said something about satellites that analyse the resources of a planet so it seems we shall have no financial difficulty while this process is carried on." Said Thorax with a small smile and his brother was proud of the decision this will surely be a really constructive experience.
