HOLY SH*T, I ACTUALLY UPDATED THIS STORY TWO DAYS IN A ROW?! Alright alright, I know I've been severely inconsistent on this story, but I hope this is making up for the meantime. Anyhow, I sincerely appreciate you all for being patient with me on this story and I'm finally delivering. Enjoy!
Later
"Olga, let me ask you a couple of questions." Arnold soon looked over. "What's on your mind?" She sat next to him.
"I don't understand how Helga despises you, honestly. I mean, you're sweet and caring, you're compassionate and you have such a vibrant smile and an exciting vibe toward your attitude. I don't understand how she could take you for granted as a sister."
Olga let out a deep sigh. "Well, I know she doesn't like how I act most of the time, but it doesn't mean that she should hate who I am. I know I can be such an excited person with a bunch of energy, but I generally don't understand her. Sometimes we have sister-to-sister moments, but that doesn't last long."
"Oh…"
"What was that second question you had in mind, anyways?"
"Oh, uh, I uh- I forgot."
Arnold wasn't too shocked to hear what Olga had to say, but he never thought Helga was that heartless.
"Arnold? Arnold, are you okay?" Olga noticed him blanked out. "Oh, yeah. I- I was just thinking about another priority I have to take care of soon." He replied, almost in a concerned tone. "Okay. So Arnold, is there anything else you need or are you all set for your date with your special lady friend tonight?" Olga asked.
"I think I'm all set. I can't appreciate this enough, Olga." Arnold smiled. She also smiled back. "It's never a problem, Arnold. Just doing my part in helping out. Alright, now you run along now and take care of yourself." She rubbed his shoulder like a sister.
"Thanks again." He smiled as he stood up. "If you ever need anything, you know where to find me."
Arnold then chuckled a little. "I find it pretty funny how I went from giving advice, toward getting advice."
Olga giggled. "Everyone needs help every now and then. You take care now." She ruffled his hair. Arnold only smiled as he soon headed out.
"Such a sweet kid." Olga told herself with a smile.
Arnold was about to head home, but he also debated whether he should go home, or go see Rhonda.
He snapped his fingers as he had a great idea.
"I know EXACTLY how to surprise my sweetheart." Arnold told himself as he headed toward the house of the Lloyds.
Meanwhile
"Boy, I'll tell you, Pheebs. Seeing Arnold goin' all gaga for someone like Rhondaloid gets me so nauseous I'm throwing up on the spot! I have to find a way to separate them! But how?" Helga and Phoebe were walking along the sidewalk.
"Well, if I had to be honest here, I quite frankly think you should just stop chasing him, and simply let him go. He's already made HIS choice, and clearly you weren't his top choice, mainly because of… your attitude." Phoebe briefly looked at her. "Are you wanting me to look stupid? How am I gonna let go just like that? Boom! Snap of a finger! Just like that! Ew, no way, Pheebs! I'm getting what I want and that's final! With or WITHOUT your help…" Helga looked sternly at her best friend.
"Oh, dear…" Phoebe was already getting a bad feeling about the mess Helga was bound to create with Curly. And it looked like she probably had to go to Gerald about this.
Helga was her best friend, but she was getting tired of watching her ruin every date Arnold has had. Arnold was also her friend, so she couldn't stand by and watch helplessly.
At The Lloyds
"What brings you by, hun?" Brooke was the one who greeted Arnold.
"I'd like to see Rhonda, but I want a little favor." Arnold chirpily said with a smile. "Anything, sweetie."
"Is Rhonda upstairs?" He asked. "Yeah, currently doing her geography homework. Why?" Brooke replied. "Perfect! I want to sneak up on her, surprise her, you know?"
"My lips are sealed." Brooke giggled as she let Arnold in.
Arnold soon headed upstairs while Brooke waited downstairs with a smile. Buckley was in the living room reading a newspaper while drinking sparkling water from a coffee mug.
Arnold was lucky to find her door open. She was at her desk doing her geography homework. Arnold could already see she was struggling as he saw a book thrown at her bed. Arnold carefully stepped into her room and made sure not to alert her.
"Ugh! This sucks! I just don't understand why geography has to be so freakin' hard! I'm not a wildlife expert!" Rhonda complained to herself. She sighed, rather annoyed. "Where's my brush? I need to clear my head."
Arnold slowly kept creeping up and was soon right behind her, and she didn't even notice.
Arnold snaked his arms around Rhonda, surprising her and making her drop her hair brush.
"AAH! MOM-" She turned around to see who it was. Her boyfriend. "Someone's a little jumpy. How about a hug?" Arnold smiled ear to ear. "You scared the living crap out of me! How'd you get in here?"
"A little favor I asked from your mom." Arnold smirked. "You cheeky little… Oh, come here, my darling!" She turned around for a kiss on the lips.
"So, I can see you're struggling with geography?" Arnold smirked. "Could you help, please?"
"You're a big girl, figure it out yourself."
"Arnold!"
He paused for a moment to think. He then had an idea.
"Tell you what. I'll help you out, but not too much, you get my drift?" She nodded. "Alright so, I'll be helping you out on this, like giving examples, not direct help so it gives you an idea. BUT here's where things get a little more… intriguing." Arnold smiled as he held her chin for a moment, making her blush. "For every question you get correct, I'll give you a kiss on the lips. For every answer that's wrong, I'll either tickle you or a minor peck on the cheek. Sounds good?"
"I finally have some motivation to get the correct answers." Rhonda giggled and tried to go in for a kiss. "Ah, ah, ah. You have to get a correct answer first." Arnold smirked. "Bummer…" She looked at her homework.
"Ah, don't worry, sweetie. Just to show you I can be nice." Arnold lifted Rhonda's chin and gave a slow kiss on her lips.
"Have I told you how much I love you?" She giggled. Arnold would only smile and nuzzle his nose against hers.
"Alright, let's see what you have here." Arnold looked at her homework.
Thirty Minutes Later
"Alright so, what does a black dot represent on a map?" Arnold asked.
"Uh… A state?" Rhonda curiously looked over. "You're close. What's in a state though?"
"Oh! A City!" She chirpily replied. "There's the answer!" Arnold smiled. She soon wrote down the answer and then smiled at Arnold. "I'm waiting."
Arnold playfully rolled his eyes and smiled. Arnold then caressed his girlfriend's cheek.
"I love you." Arnold then slowly kissed her lips.
"Alright, last one. Where does someone look on a map when they want to know the symbols on a map? It's in the corner of the map, that's all I'll say." Arnold said.
"I know this, but I forgot what it was called!" She started thinking.
Arnold briefly played with her hair and teasingly had his nose rub against her ear. He then sat on her desk.
"Well?"
"UGH! I can't remember!"
"What do you use to open a car door?" Arnold asked. "A key? But what does that have to do with this?" Arnold then pointed toward her paper.
"Oh…"
Arnold couldn't help but smile at how adorable she can be. "So does that mean I still get the kiss or…" Arnold caressed her cheek, and then rubbed his fingers delicately through her beautiful hair.
"A for effort." He smiled. He then started to give her a long passionate kiss.
"Thanks a lot, buddy. I couldn't have done this without you." Rhonda smiled. Arnold also smiled. "Anything for my sweet Princess." Arnold briefly stroked her hair and kissed her forehead.
"You're the best, Arnold. You know that?" Rhonda smiled as she blushed. Arnold only smiled and stroked her hair.
I hope you're enjoying this so far and I hope you'll be sticking around for the next chapter!
