Later

It was now reaching the afternoon, and Arnold was still over at Rhonda's house. Not necessarily helping her with her homework as she started to figure it out slowly.

Arnold was currently sitting around on her bed, looking around at how unique her room looked. Occasionally, he looked at the back of his girlfriend's head to see her beautiful black hair.

"… There! I'm finally done! Hey Arnold, could you check this out, please?" Rhonda looked back to her bed. Arnold got up and walked over.

He started looking over the paper, rather surprised as well.

He then cleared his throat. "So uh… Who's paper were you looking off of?" Arnold looked at her. "What? What are you saying with that?" She cocked her head. "Rhonda, you did amazing! See? You didn't need my help or those incentives!" Arnold smiled and kissed her forehead.

Rhonda giggled for a moment. "So Arnold, I was wondering if we could have a date later tonight or maybe tomorrow?" Arnold started to think for a moment. "On second thought, I think I'll have to do something before we go on our next date."

Rhonda gave a confused look. "What's that?" She raised an eyebrow. "Uh, hello? Pataki! P-A-T-A-K-I?" Arnold spelled out one of their two concerns. "And what EXACTLY are you gonna do with her? She's obviously not the type to discuss anything unless it involves pelting you with a rock."

Arnold merely rolled his eyes. "Well, one can try, no? And besides, here's where I'd say it gets interesting." He smirked. She cocked her head again. "And how so?" She crossed her arms.

"Listen, if Helga tries to ruin any of our dates, anything we try to do together, she can just forget about ever knowing me. Simple as that."

"If that cow even dares to lay a FINGER on this PRECIOUS clothing, I swear I'd smack her into NEXT YEAR if I have to!" Rhonda then had a goofy grin as she felt Arnold rubbing her shoulders. "There there now, Princess. You just need a massage, that's all." Arnold smiled. He then saw her closet.

"Hey Rhonda, you never told me you got a new jacket…"

"UH- I UH… I was-"

"Nevermind. I saw it wrong, it's just a sweater."

"Phew…."

Arnold then hugged her from behind. "Well, I hate to say this but… I gotta go now. I'll see you tomorrow at school?"

"Aww, you have to go now? Can't you stay a little longer? Please?" Rhonda begged. "As much as I would love to, I have to go home, don't I?"

"Can't you just sleep here?"

"What?"

"Nothing!"

Arnold shrugged it off. "I'll see you soon, Princess." Arnold gave a kiss on her cheek, leaving her more or less disappointed. He soon walked out of her room.

Brooke then walked in.

"What's with the long face, darling? You look like as if someone just stole your favorite necklace." Brooke approached her daughter and rubbed her back. "Oh, nothing… It's just- Mom? Is it bad if I'm already…" Rhonda hesitated to ask her question.

Brooke raised an eyebrow. "Already what?" Rhonda gulped. "Mom… Is it bad if- If I'm d- deeply in love with someone? F- For example, Arnold?"

"Is Arnold the example? Or is he the person you're in love with?" Brooke smirked. "How-"

"Just don't even dare question how I know. It's a mother's sense to know when their daughter is in love. Look, do you want my honest answer?"

"Why do I feel queasy for what I'm about to hear?…" She held her stomach. "Honey, I know you may be young to understand what goes beyond love like maybe…" Brooke blushed. "The birds and bees…"

"The what?" Rhonda gave a confused look. "Look, you're obviously too young to know about that, but listen, I know you love Arnold, and that's totally fine!"

While Brooke kept explaining to her daughter how much she does approve of the relationship, back at Arnold's place, he was in for… Quite a homecoming surprise.

"Oh, there you are, Shortman! We've been waiting for your arrival for the past few hours…" Grandpa Phil greeted Arnold. From a cheery tone to a blank tone at the end of his sentence. "Sorry, Grandpa, I was just over at Rhonda's place helping her with her homework."

"You two fools didn't lock the door, did yo- OW! Pookie!" Phil got hit in the back of his head by Grandma Gertie. Arnold gave a confused look.

"SHOO! You two stay there!" Grandma appeared to shoo away someone? "Grandma? There's nobody in the living room." Arnold said.

Phil then chuckled. "Nobody in the living room? Shortman, you need to get your eyes checked!" Arnold was now completely confused. "What?"

"Why, your grandfather's right! There are people in the living room!" Grandma put a hand on his shoulder and guided him to the living room.

Arnold gasped as his jaw dropped and went wide-eyed.

Meanwhile…

"And Rhonda, promise me one thing."

"What's that?"

"Don't even think of locking the door when Arnold's over, I don't want you two getting into any funny business." She said, sternly as she walked out of her room.

"Uh… Okay?" She shrugged.

"Come on, Shortman! Aren't you going to say anything?" Phil told his grandson.

Arnold was in absolute shock. The two people standing in front of him were the two people that were missing for about a quarter of his life. With Phil always telling stories about them, he's been dying to see them. Today, he's finally reunited with them.

"M- Mom? Da- Dad?" Arnold's voice trembled. "It really is us, son." The blonde man smiled. His wife kneeled down and had her arms open for a hug. "Come here, sweetheart. We've missed you dearly! And we can't spend another second apart." The woman with a white stripe in her hair said.

"Shortman, they're back. Meet your parents, Miles, and Stella." Phil smiled. Arnold ran toward Stella and gave her a big hug.

"Oh, son! We've missed you!" Stella had tears running down her cheeks. "Mom! Dad! I can't believe it! You're finally back!" Arnold had a big smile on his face.

"I've never seen Kimba so happy…" Grandma Gertie smiled. "Pookie, our little Arnold finally gets to be with his parents." Phil smiled and had an arm over her.

Stella kissed Arnold's forehead several times and didn't want to let go of her only son, her only child.

Miles cleared his throat and smiled. "So no love for Dad?" Arnold looked over. He smiled and hugged his father. "I missed you guys so much!"

"We've missed you as well, Arnold! But we're finally back together and for good this time." Miles told his son as Stella joined in on the hug.

"We love you so much, Arnold, we can't spend another moment with you!" Stella kissed Arnold's forehead.

As the background music soon faded, the three of them kept hugging. Arnold was happier than ever, he was finally reunited with his parents. Miles and Stella may have been away for many years, but they were willing to make it up to Arnold for the amount of time they missed with him. Stella was elated to finally develop the special bond she's been thinking about when Arnold was just a baby. Miles was excited to show Arnold all the knowledge and exciting things he has to share.

I hate the fact that Miles and Stella don't get much attention, so I decided to spice it up and bring them into this story! And the background music? A little something I decided to test out from my other story. Did you guys like it? Stick around for more!
