Steven: So, what's the next episode?
Peridot: Akuma vs Shang Tsung, the description reads 'Episode 2 - Street Fighter VS Mortal Kombat! Akuma, the most powerful Street Fighter, takes on Mortal Kombat's deadly sorcerer, Shang Tsung! Using their unique skill-sets, it's a no-holds-barred duel to the death! Who will win? Who will die?' apparently these two humans are considered to be villains from a portable entertainment system.
Amethyst: Do you mean Video Games?
Amethyst asks looking over at the small green gem.
Peridot: Yes, V.i.d.e.o g.a.m.e.s!
Peridot pronounced slowly struggling to say the word.
Rose Quartz: If these humans are considered to be evil then I no doubt imagine this episode will be very graphic.
Amethyst: Can't wait then, I bet they will be awesome!
Amethyst pumped her fists in the air excited to see some human villains while Pearl looked at her disapprovingly.
—————————————————————————Wiz: Street Fighter. Mortal Kombat. Kings of the fighting genre. And every good fighter needs awesome villians.
Steven: Exactly! No fighting game is complete without a memorable badass villain.
Priyanka: It just seems like a way to ignore your problems instead of dealing with them.
Connie: Mom!
Boomstick: Like Akuma, the ultimate badass of martial arts.
(An image of Akuma is shown)
Everyone looked closely at the appearance of Akuma, some had disapproving looks while others found it cool. Mainly Steven and Amethyst.
Wiz: And Shang Tsung, the sorcerous vanguard of doom.
While compared to Akuma, Both gems and humans found Shang Tsung to be less frightening than Akuma. However he still had the evil aura about him.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find who would win... a Death Battle.

Akuma
———————
Wiz: Akuma, master of The Fist. Known as Gouki in Japan, he is a living weapon, ten times stronger than nearly every other Street Fighter.
The Diamonds eyes widened tens times stronger than all of the other humans? This Akuma was looking to be more and more impressive with the more info shared.
Boomstick: Plus, he looks friggin' awesome, I totally want me some red, glowing eyes.
(It directly shows Akuma's red glowing eyes that could pierce someone's soul)
Greg: He looks like If a demon took a human form, I no doubt believe him to actually be one.
Garnet: What is a demon?
Peridot: A demon is an evil spirit or devil, especially one thought to possess a person or act as a tormentor in hell. That's what this human iPad informs me.
Peridot had a iPad in her hands most likely gifted by Steven and it had the google definition of 'Demon'.
Lars: They pretty much torture you in the afterlife or possess someone and causes them to sin.
Wiz: Akuma has dozens of powerful special attacks, including the Gou Hadoken, a powerful blast with precision control. He can even use the almighty Shinku-Hadoken, which is, basically, a giant fireball of death.
All of the gems stared at the screen at the powerful attack used by Akuma, no one wants to even imagine the amount damage it could.
Boomstick: Man, if I ever fire a Hadoken in real life, I'mma die happy.
Amethyst: Same Boomstick, same.
Wiz: Akuma also uses the Shoryuken uppercut, a teleport ability, a swift multi-striking hurricane kick, and the Hyakkishu, A.K.A the Demon Flip.
Boomstick: Also, Akuma's got tons of different Super Arts, but two really stand out. First there's the Kongo...Kokuretsu Za... how do you say that?
Connie: Kongo Kokurestu Zan.
Connie said it perfectly without stuttering her words once causing every human and gem to look her.
Steven: Where did you learn to say that?
Connie chuckled.
Connie: A lot of studying, In my free time I practise a little bit of Japanese.
Wiz: No idea.
Boomstick: Well, I'm pretty sure that's Japanese for "Fuck You Up!" 'Cause basically, Akuma punches the ground and things explode.
(Shows Akuma doing exactly that)
Announcer: K.O.!
Boomstick: He shattered a whole friggin' island just by punching it. Holy shit!
Diamonds (except Pink): What?! How could a normal human have so much power?
White Diamond: Humans frighten me with what they can achieve sometimes...
Wiz: But that's not the deadliest move up his nonexistent sleeve.
Freckles: What move could be even worse than that?!
(Akuma uses his deadliest move against Dan Hibiki and his health depletes afterwards.)
Everyone sat in silence, at the sight of Akuma's deadliest attack.
Wiz: The Shun Goku Satsu, also known as the Raging Demon, literally means "Instant Hell Murder."
Rose Quartz: This man is truly a human of power.
Boomstick: Man, I'm going to totally name my first kid that. The Raging Demon at full power is fatal, this guy's a frickin' onslaught of pain!
Wiz: That's right, Boomstick. Akuma lives for one thing, and one thing only: fighting. He travels the world day and night searching for worthy opponents. He's an unstoppable human Holocaust, losing only once to his brother Gouken, but after a brutal rematch...
Priyanka: What?! How dare he! Killing his own brother!
Priyanka was furious as were many in the audience, how could someone be so emotionally detached from reality? That they kill their flesh and blood?
Boomstick: Oh hey, look. He can finger paint!
Pearl: That's just wrong and not needed
Wiz: It was rumoured that Akuma sacrificed his soul to a demon in exchange for the strength to defeat Gouken, but this has been declared non-canon.
Doug: Thank Christ...
Boomstick: Akuma's got one major problem, though. His stamina is absolutely pathetic. He can dish out the pain, but he sure can't take it.
Wiz: It's crucial for Akuma to have total control over the fight. He takes an extremely offensive approach, always moving, always attacking.
Amethyst: At least he has a weakness in the first place, good thing he isn't as durable as us gems.
Peridot: Humans are very unpredictable, it's what makes them unique even when compared to Gems.
Boomstick: Yeah, screw defense! Give me more ways to hurt people!
———————————
Akuma: I am Akuma, and I will teach you the meaning of pain!
———————————
Shang Tsung
————————
Wiz: Shang Tsung is the cunning sorcerer from Outworld, and scheming pawn of Shao Kahn. He's extremely adept in magic and a well-rounded fighter.
Peridot: Magic?
Peridot piped up at the mention of Magic, something that has intrigued the small gem engineer for the longest time.
Amethyst: Don't go all crazy on us now Peridot, Magic is just fictional.
Peridot: Oh it may just be a creation of fiction, but that doesn't take the fact that it's intriguing away.
Boomstick: This guy can shoot flaming skulls, which is totally awesome, but where the heck does he keep them? I mean seriously, how many skulls can a person carry around with them?
Everyone looked disturbed at the apparent human skulls being shot out by Shang Tsung.
Spinel: Yuck, that's very nasty.
Wiz: Tsung can teleport around the battlefield with the special move called "Hot Escape."
(Shang Tsung performing "Hot Escape" is shown)
Boomstick: Wah! Sucker punch, bitch!
Both Steven and Amethyst chuckled.
Lars: A teleportation ability is very useful for anyone.
Wiz: He can morph into whomever he wants, giving him tons of different skill sets. It's like fighting a hundred different foes combined into one.
The Diamond's eyes widened at the perfect morphing, even the idea of morphing frightened all three of them. The fact someone with evil intentions could just be someone you trust.
Pearl: The number of problems a human with an ability remotely similar to that would cause.
Boomstick: Man, I wish I could morph into anybody I wanted. I can have some fun with that!
A furious expression appeared on Priyanka's face over Boomstick's words and suggestion.
Priyanka: What sort of SICK PLEASURE!? Does this man get from sexualising women?!
All of the gems looked at the human woman a little frightened of her innate rage.
He also has a razor sharp Straight Sword, though he usually keeps it hidden for a surprise attack.
Wiz: Shang Tsung possesses one other strange, but useful ability. Long ago, when he was caught cheating in the Mortal Kombat tournament, he was cursed, by the Elder Gods, to rapidly age until an untimely death. The only way to prevent this fate is to absorb the souls of his victims.
Greg: Jesus, that's too far!
Freckles: What is a soul?
Freckles asked confused on what it was along with many other gems.
Connie: Many humans believe that we posses something called a soul, which is often depicted as a small ball of light. It's pretty much our life force... meaning if it gets taken out of us...
Connie stops her point getting across all the gems.
Boomstick: He can literally eat your soul. Your soul! Not only can this heal him, but he gets the memories of the souls he devoured.
The Diamonds looked slightly intrigued being able to absorb other's memories is a very powerful ability.
Wiz: This helps him copy the movesets of other fighters when he morphs.
Amethyst: Damn, wish I could just change my fighting style on the fly like that.
Boomstick: So really, his curse became his deadliest weapon. Good punishment there, gods.
Wiz: Shang Tsung has lived and fought for over a thousand years. His sorcery, powers, and brutal Fatalities are rivaled by few, and he's claimed the title of grand champion of Mortal Kombat several times, almost bringing about the winning streak necessary to allow Shao Kahn to invade Earthrealm, key word being "almost".
Peridot: A thousand years?!
Peridot's eyes widened, sure gems could live a lot longer than that. But, a human lives nine times longer than their lifespan.
While Peridot was focused on the human lifespan many humans and gems were disgusted by the fatalities, at least with gems they are just shattered but humans!
Lapis: So Shang Tsung is just the minion of Shao Kahn? I do not like the look of him.
Boomstick: Yeah, unfortunately for Shang Tsung, he pretty much sucks at actually accomplishing his goals. He's super powerful, but like most villains, he can never get around some goody-two-shoes getting in the way of global take-over.
Steven: Just like us against Homeworld
The crystal gems cheered while the Diamonds' faces flushed in embarrassment.
Wiz: His only notable victories have included treachery and deceit. But, keep in mind, Tsung's not fighting any ordinary meat-heads. He's fighting demons, sorcerers, and gods, and even in defeat, he somehow keeps coming back more lethal than ever.
Freckles: He does have the odds stacked against him yet he prevails.
—————————————————
Shang Tsung: You... will... DIE!
—————————————————
Battle!
————
Akuma walks on the stage when Shang Tsung suddenly appears behind him from his Hot Escape technique. Akuma jumps away to the other side of the battlefield, and prepares to fight.
Amethyst: This is gonna be so awesome!
Announcer: Fight!
Tsung shoots a Flaming Skull, which Akuma dodges by jumping over. He shoots two Gou Hadokens in the air, and Tsung blocks them. Akuma attacks Tsung's feet, and knocks him even more off balance by hitting him with a hurricane kick. and knocks him in the air with a Shoryuken uppercut. While in the Air, Akuma hits him a few times and finishes the combo with a Shinku-Hadoken. Tsung lays on the ground and Akuma tries to finish him off, but Tsung transforms into Scorpion.
Everyone looks at the battle with intrigue and excitement, some more excited then others.
Akuma stops and decides to see if this form is powerful enough to fight against, allowing him to get back up.
Rose Quartz: That doesn't seem like a good idea...
White Diamond: All he is doing is providing more time for the sorcerer to adjust his fighting style and tactics.
Scorpion: COME HERE!
Steven & Amethyst: Come here!
Both the half-gem and gem shouted in excitement while Pearl looked at them with a disapproving look.
Shang Tsung throws the kunai spear at Akuma and drags Akuma over towards him. He uppercuts Akuma, cueing the "Toasty Guy", Dan Forden, to appear in the right corner of the screen.
Jasper: Ok, what?!
Dan Forden: TOASTY!
Peridot: This is terribly violent and gruesome yet I still find it entertaining somehow.
Shang Tsung then keeps him in the air by hitting him with flaming skulls that burst out of the ground. Akuma falls behind him and throws him to right. He them teleports behinds him and kicks him, which Tsung blocks. He fires a Hadoken, but Tsung uses Hot Escape to get away, then reappears and slashes Akuma with his sword. He then grabs Akuma and tries to steal his soul, which heals some of his health and drains some of Akuma's. Akuma breaks out of it by hitting him with a Hurricane Kick. Tsung runs toward him, but Akuma catches him off guard using the Kongo Kokuretsu Zan, which knocks him in the air. He then teleports over, hits him a few times, and then throws him. Tsung then lands on his feet and transforms into Akuma.
A lot of the more sensitive gems and humans winced at the incredibly hard and gruesome hits both Shang Tsung and Akuma were taken respectively.
Garnet: The battle is coming to a close.
The two prepare for battle.
Steven & Amethyst look excited at the final stretch of the battle between Shang Tsung and Akuma. None spoke in favour of watching the battle.
The two Akuma's then jump in the air and they attack, blocking each others' moves. One of the Akuma knocks the other into the ground. and then tries to finish him off using the Kongou Kokoretsuzan. However, the other Akuma grabs him and finishes him off with a Shun Goku Satsu. As one of the Akuma's stands with his back to the screen with the iconic heaven kanji confirming the kill, it is then shown that the Akuma lying dead on the ground is Shang Tsung, who shortly turns back into his original form, releasing his souls.
A lot of humans winced at the sight of Shang Tsung's death. The Diamonds and a few other gems were quite impressed with the battle and both of the warriors deadly abilities and fighting prowess.
Announcer: K.O.!

Results
————
Boomstick: Oh man, that was way too close!
Lapis Lazuli: Very intense and gruesome as well.
Wiz: No kidding, Boomstick! Akuma's raw power and speed pressed a distinct advantage early on, but Tsung's own cleverness and wide array of skills quickly even the odds.
Pearl: That is indeed true, it's difficult to fight against someone like Shang Tsung. His copying abilities and own fighting prowess makes him a difficult match for even the best fighters.
All of the original crystal gems nodded, during the rebellion against homeworld there were a lot of gems capable of being virtually unkillable and only lost due to their cockiness or mistakes.
Boomstick: It looked like Akuma had the whole thing wrapped up, but Tsung's morphing trick saved his ass.
Wiz: Akuma's pride for battle almost cost his life, as he stopped to see if his new face was worth a challenge.
Bismuth: That is defiantly the truth. While it is ok to have pride in what you are best at, it is not okay to hesitate due to second guessing whether your opponent is worthy of a fight.
Boomstick: After switching up strategies, Tsung managed to steal enough of Akuma's soul for some extra health and new abilities.
Connie shivered at the mention of souls being stolen, if souls were real it could create a lot of problems if a hostile gem appeared that could harm souls.
Wiz: But, it wasn't enough. In the end, Akuma's skills as a fighter proved unmatched.
Priyanka: Is it ending? Do I get to stop listening to that disgusting pig of man?
Boomstick: I mean, Tsung loses to Liu Kang all the time, and compared to Akuma, Liu Kang's the nicest guy in the world. There was no way he could take Akuma's constant punishment.
(Liu Kang is shown and he does look like a very nice and approachable person, he also has a body any man would die for)
Steven looked at his body while he wasn't overweight and was healthy it would still be nice to have a little bit of muscle.
Wiz: As Tsung isn't used to winning anything on his own, he wasn't perfect on delivering the final blow, leaving him wide open for the experienced Akuma to unleash his greatest weapon.
Amethyst: Ha! It's lucky Steven had us around because he wouldn't of been able to fend of homeworld no chance!
Amethyst wraps her arms around the boy with a grin.
Boomstick: The Raging Demon of Instant-Hell-Murder-Awesomeness!
Wiz: And so Shang Tsung fell once again releasing his devoured souls, again.
Boomstick: Looks like Tsung's all souled out! Ha ha, get it, Wiz?
Pearl groaned at the pun, living with Amethyst exposed her to many human puns over the years to the point she got sick of it.
Wiz: The winner is Akuma.
———————————————
The video ended as the credits rolled.
Rose Quartz: Well that was interesting!
The screen turned staticky as a few words appeared on it:
"30 minute break, you can do what you want and will be informed once the next episode is ready"
At those words a lot of the gems and humans got up from their seats and began socialising or getting some snacks...
